Abstract

This study aims to describe children's social emotional abilities using Digital Game Based Learning at PGRI Pakumbulan Kindergarten, Buaran District, Pekalongan Regency. The sample consisted of 21 class A students of PGRI Pakumbulan Kindergarten in the 2022-2023 academic year, data collection in this study used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. While the analysis technique used was Triangulation. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in children's social emotional abilities because they used Digital Game Based Learning, while the learning media used were visual media, such as simple games, original images, and the use of laptops as learning media

Abstract

Creativity for students is one of the foundations for children to be able to solve problems, think out of the box, and explore something new. All of that can be capital for children's success, whatever field they choose in the future. The low creativity of students at SD Negeri Mas can be seen from the results of the 2023 Education Quality Report which concluded that in students who are unable to link concepts, come up with ideas or concepts related to the material they have received, so that they cannot develop independent students in learning and creative in dealing with a problem according to the objectives of learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) and edupreneurship insights on student creativity at SD Negeri Tanjung Mas, Semarang City. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method. Data collection techniques are carried out by surveys in the form of questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The questionnaire and observation guidelines are compiled using the creativity theory framework. The results of the study indicate that the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) and edupreneurship insight partially and together have a significant positive effect on student creativity. In addition, the results of the study also show that the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) and edupreneurship insight are effective in increasing student creativity. As educators, we must be able to arouse student creativity which is not only influenced by the quality of learning but other factors can also affect student creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the reading literacy skills of Phase A students (Grade II) at SDN Sambirejo 01, Bringin District, Semarang Regency, through an ethnographic approach. It explores literacy practices both inside and outside the classroom, the social interactions involved in reading activities, students' perceptions of reading, as well as the social and cultural factors that influence the development of their reading literacy skills. The ethnographic method was applied using a series of in-depth and comprehensive qualitative data collection techniques. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with Grade II students to understand their perspectives, experiences, and beliefs related to reading. Interviews were also conducted with the school principal and Phase A classroom teachers to obtain their views on students' literacy development, reading instruction strategies, and the challenges faced in the process. The factors affecting students' reading abilities include internal factors (such as interest, individual abilities, and personal characteristics) and external factors (such as the learning environment, family support, the socio-cultural context of the school, and the socio-cultural context of the community). This study is expected to provide valuable insights for teachers, schools, and educational policymakers in designing and implementing more effective and contextual literacy instruction strategies, as well as in fostering students' interest in reading and improving their literacy skills from an early age. The researcher suggests developing and implementing reading literacy programs that have not yet been realized and promoting social and cultural character development through reading literacy activities.

Abstract

Peningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik pendidik Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) menjadi tujuan utama pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat khususnya bagi pendidik yang tergabung dalam IGTKI Kabupaten Temanggung dalam menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah kurangnya pemahaman pendidik terhadap prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran yang berpusat pada anak sesuai dengan perkembangan anak dan Kurikulum Merdeka PAUD. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan, lokakarya partisipatif, dan pendampingan langsung kepada guru PAUD di wilayah Kabupaten Temanggung yang diikuti oleh 100 peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan pendidik dalam merancang, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran berbasis kebutuhan anak. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas layanan PAUD serta mendukung pencapaian kompetensi pedagogik pendidik sesuai standar nasional.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and assess the quality of interactive multimedia based on Articulate Storyline with a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in spatial volume material in elementary schools. The study used the Research and Development (RnD) method with the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Validation was carried out by subject matter experts and media experts, while practicality and effectiveness were measured through teacher and student questionnaires and pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed that this media was highly valid, with a subject matter expert validation percentage of 92% and media validation of 94%. The practicality of the media was also high, with positive responses from 80% of students and 84% of teachers. The effectiveness test showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes, with an N-Gain value of 0.7143, which is in the high category. These findings confirm that Articulate Storyline-based interactive multimedia that integrates CRT is feasible, practical, and effective for improving mathematical concept understanding, student engagement, and learning outcomes for solid volume material in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning based on the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka), the difficulties faced by teachers, the efforts to overcome these challenges, and the pattern of teacher difficulties in the Slamet Riyadi Cluster, Rowosari District. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers face several obstacles, including limited references, suboptimal time management, inadequate facilities, and lack of readiness. Efforts made by teachers include attending training through teacher working groups (KKG), utilizing surrounding resources, sharing the use of teaching equipment, and enhancing understanding through professional development activities. The study recommends that teachers improve their competencies through self-directed learning and training, and that schools provide stronger support in terms of infrastructure and resources.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Pancasila Student Profile content in the critical thinking dimension, the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile in the critical thinking dimension in mathematics learning, and the patterns of critical thinking in mathematics learning in fourth grade. The research subjects include fourth-grade students, school principals, and homeroom teachers. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, questionnaires, mathematics questions, and documentation, which were then verified using triangulation techniques to ensure the accuracy of the data. The results of the study indicate that there are three contents of the Pancasila Student Profile, namely, obtaining and processing information and ideas, analyzing and evaluating reasoning, and reflecting on thoughts and thinking processes; the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile has been reflected in learning activities, as seen from the results of the student questionnaire, which obtained an average percentage score of 61.3% in the good category; and the pattern of critical thinking dimensions in fourth-grade learning was obtained from the sub-elements of asking questions, identifying, clarifying, and processing information and ideas, analyzing and evaluating reasoning and procedures, and reflecting on and evaluating one's own thoughts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan modul projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila pada tema kearifan lokal berwawasan edupreneurship. Jenis penelitian ini adalah reserch and development yang mengembangkan produk modul ajar. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan bahan ajar. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar kevalidan untuk ahli dan praktisi, angket respon guru, lembar observasi karakter siswa, soal pretest dan posttest. Uji kevalidan didapatkan dari rekap hasil validasi ahli dan praktisi, validator ahli mendapat hasil dengan presentase 90,83% masuk dalam kriteria sangat valid dan validator praktisi mendapat hasil dengan presentase 94,17% masuk dalam kriteria sangat valid. Uji kepraktisan didapatkan dari angket guru yaitu mendapat jumlah skor 94 dengan presentase 94%, dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil uji normalitas pretest adalah 0,151 dan posttest 0,074 sehingga data tersebut normal. Hasil uji homogenitas sebesar 0,927 > 0,05, maka H0 diterima artinya varians dari dua kelompok populasi data adalah sama (Homogen). Hasil uji paired sampel t test sebesar Sig. 0,000 < 0,05, Maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga ada perbedaan rata-rata antara hasil belajar pretest dengan posttest. Analisis normalitas gain siswa kelas IV di kelas dengan nilai rerata N-Gain 0,3620 masuk kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat simpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan modul projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila pada tema kearifan lokal berwawasan edupreneurship dapat membentuk karakter profil pelajar pancasila peserta didik kelas IV di sekolah dasar. Hasil menunjukkan modul projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk membentuk karakter profil pelajar pancasila peserta didik.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mendorong integrasi perangkat digital sebagai sumber pembelajaran utama di sekolah dasar, termasuk di wilayah Kecamatan Bojong, Kabupaten Tegal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis respons orang tua terhadap integrasi teknologi informasi sebagai sumber belajar dan implikasinya terhadap dukungan orang tua dalam mendampingi anak. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap orang tua siswa yang aktif mendampingi kegiatan belajar digital anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi informasi telah menjadi sumber belajar dominan melalui pemanfaatan smartphone, internet, video pembelajaran, dan aplikasi edukasi yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi serta kemandirian belajar siswa. Namun, penggunaan tanpa pengawasan optimal memunculkan risiko penyalahgunaan gawai. Dukungan orang tua terwujud dalam penyediaan fasilitas digital, pendampingan akses konten edukatif, pengawasan waktu dan aktivitas, serta pemberian motivasi. Kendati demikian, rendahnya literasi digital orang tua menjadi hambatan serius, terutama bagi mereka yang kurang familier dengan teknologi. Implikasi temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi informasi mendorong pergeseran peran orang tua dari penyedia kebutuhan belajar konvensional menjadi pendamping digital. Hal ini menuntut peningkatan kapasitas literasi digital orang tua dan penguatan komunikasi antara sekolah dan keluarga melalui program edukasi digital terstruktur. Kolaborasi sinergis kedua pihak menjadi kunci agar penggunaan teknologi informasi sebagai sumber belajar berlangsung aman, efektif, dan berkelanjutan, sehingga benar-benar mendukung peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Integrasi teknologi informasi sebagai sumber pembelajaran di sekolah dasar telah mengubah paradigma pendidikan dan menuntut keterlibatan orang tua secara lebih intensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis respons orang tua terhadap penggunaan teknologi informasi sebagai sumber belajar siswa serta implikasinya terhadap pola dukungan yang diberikan, dengan lokasi penelitian di beberapa sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Bojong, Kabupaten Tegal. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data digali melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan orang tua, guru, dan kepala sekolah sebagai subjek. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa respons orang tua terpolarisasi ke dalam dua kutub utama. Respons positif muncul dari pengakuan bahwa teknologi mempercepat akses informasi, meningkatkan motivasi dan kemandirian belajar anak, serta mempermudah komunikasi dengan guru. Sebaliknya, respons negatif didominasi oleh kekhawatiran terhadap kecanduan gawai, penurunan interaksi sosial, dan paparan konten tidak sesuai usia. Kedua respons tersebut sangat dipengaruhi oleh tingkat literasi digital, kondisi ekonomi, dan pengalaman orang tua dengan teknologi. Peran orang tua pun bergeser menjadi fasilitator, mediator, dan supervisor digital. Respon negatif muncul karena kekhawatiran terhadap dampak penggunaan teknologi seperti kecanduan gadget dan paparan konten negatif Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di jenjang dasar memerlukan kolaborasi erat antara sekolah dan keluarga melalui program peningkatan literasi digital bagi orang tua. Dengan demikian, ekosistem belajar digital yang aman dan produktif dapat terwujud secara berkelanjutan.
