Abstract

ABSTRAK Komunikasi organisasi berperan penting dalam kehidupan organisasi, sama halnya dengan komitmen organisasional. Kedua faktor tersebut berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Apabila komunikasi organisasi berjalan baik dan karyawan memiliki komitmen organisasional yang tinggi maka hal ini dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi organisasi dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah (1) komunikasi organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya, (2) komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya, (3) komunikasi organisasi dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya.  Sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh guru SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya yang berjumlah 22 guru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, dan analisis linier berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS 16.0. nilai koefisien determinasi (Adjugment R Square) sebesar 0,467 hal ini berarti 46,7%variabel kepuasan kerja guru SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya dipengaruhi oleh variabel komunikasi organisasi dan komitmen organisasional, sedangkan sisanya 53,3% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) komunikasi organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya dengan signifikansi 0,002 atau 0,2%, (2) komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMK Bhakti Tri Guna Surabaya dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,014 atau 1,4%, (3) komunikasi organisasi dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMK Bhakti Tri Guna Surabaya dengan signifikansi 0,001 atau 0,1%.  Kata kunci: Komunikasi Organisasi, Komitmen Organisasional, Kepuasan Kerja   ABSTRACT Organizational communication plays an important role in the life of the organization, as well as organizational commitment. Both of these factors have an effect on job satisfaction of employees. If your organization runs both organizational communication and organizational commitment have employees who are high then this can increase teacher’s job satisfaction.  The purpose of this research was to determine the influence organizational communication and organizational commitment on job satisfaction of teachers of SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya. The hypothesis of this research are (1) organizational communication has a positive influence on job satisfaction of teachers at SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya, (2) organizational commitment has a positive influence on job satisfaction of teachers at SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya, (3) organizational communication and organizational commitment positive influence on job satisfaction of teacher at SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya.  The samples used were the whole population there are 22 teachers at SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya. Data analysis technique that used are validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 16.0 software. The coefficient of multiple determination (Adjusted R Square) is 0,467 this mean that 46,7% of the variation of job satisfaction variable  can be explained by the organizational communication and organizational commitment variable.  The results showed that (1) organizational communication has a positive influence on job satisfaction of teachers at SMK Tri Guna Bhakti Surabaya with a significance of 0.002 or 0.2%, (2) organizational commitment has a positive influence on job satisfaction of teachers at SMK Bhakti Tri Guna Surabaya with a significance level 0,014 or 1.4%, (3) organizational communication and organizational commitment has a positive influence on job satisfaction of teachers at SMK Bhakti Tri Guna Surabaya with significance 0.001 or 0.1%.  Keywords: Organizational Communication, Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Kecemasan dirasakan mahasiswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran klinik di rumah sakit, seringkali bersifat secara subyektif dengan komunikasi yang interpersonal (Stuart, 2006). Tujuan penelitian untuk melihat hubungan antara persepsi dengan kecemasan mahasiswa selama mengikuti pembelajaran klinik di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan menggunakan rancangan cross sectional. Dari hasil yang didapatkan ada 19 mahasiswa laki-laki yang mengalami kecemasan ringan dan 62 mahasiswa perempuan yang mengalami kecemasan berat, berarti mahasiswa perempuan lebih banyak mengalami kecemasan berat daripada laki-laki dengan nilai p=0.026 sedangkan untuk hasil uji statistik usia tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara usia dengan kecemasan (p=0.910), dan sisanya ada 49 mahasiswa yang mengalami kecemasan berat dengan persepsi buruk dan 47 mahasiswa lainnya mengalami kecemasan ringan dengan persepsi baik dengan nilai p=0.000, sehingga mahasiswa lebih banyak mengalami kecemasan berat dengan persepsi buruk daripada mahasiswa yang mengalami kecemasan ringan dengan persepsi baik.

Abstract

COMPARISON OF RUBBER MILLING PROCESS TO PRODUCE NATURAL RUBBER COMPOUNDS USING MODIFIED AND UNMODIFIED LOCAL CLAY FILLER. Many researchers have studied the effect of modified clay as filler on rubber compounds for both natural rubber and synthetic rubber. Various chemicals are used as clay modifiers. In the rubber milling process, modified clay is directly used as filler after pretreatment with clay modifier. However, clay modifiers can also be milled together with original clay during the rubber mastication and milling process. Thus both of these methods certainly produce different physical properties, so the comparison of the two rubber milling processes is the focus of this research. The analysis of the curing characteristics and physical properties of vulcanized natural rubber was carried out with a rheometer and physical properties test units. Thermal analysis was carried out using TG/DTA and dispersion of filler on the rubber compound was analyzed by SEM. The results of the curing characteristic of the rubber compound and the physical properties of vulcanization showed that there was an effect due to the comparison of the rubber milling process. Modified clay using JH-S69 is better than JH-S69 milled with original clay and vice versa occurs in PEG 4000 which is used as clay modifier. PEG 4000 which is milled together with original clay produces curing characteristic and physical properties of vulcanization better than pretreatment of clay to be modified clay. This analysis is in line with the analysis using SEM.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada submateri Pencemaran Lingkungan di kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Keramat. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 butir soal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model Project Based Learning sebesar 16,03 dan rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 12,59. Dari uji U Mann-Whitney, diperoleh Zhitung < -Ztabel yaitu -4,65 < -1,96. Nilai Effect Size yang diperoleh sebesar 1,39 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 41,77%. Maka model Project Based Learning berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada submateri Pencemaran Lingkungan kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Keramat. Kata Kunci:  model Project Based Learning, hasil belajar.   Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the Project Based Learning model on students’ learning outcomes in the submaterial of Environment Pollution in the grade VII State Junior High School 2 Teluk Keramat. This research is quasi experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The instrument was in the form of a multiple choice test consisting of 20 items. The analysis showed average results of student learning using Project Based Learning model was 16,03 and the average student learning outcomes taught using conventional learning which was 12,59. From the U Mann-Whitney test, obtained Zcount < -Ztable i.e -4,65 < -1,96. The value Effect Size was 1,39 which was in the high category and contribution 41.77%. So Project Based Learning model had a positive influence on the student learning outcomes in the submaterial of Environmental Pollution in class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Keramat. Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to produce media products in the form of multimedia learning. The development model used is a 4-D model (four D models) by limiting it to only 3 stages namely the stage of defining the design and development. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and measurement techniques with data collection tools namely observation sheets, interview guides, questionnaires and test results for learning outcomes. Before conducting research, multimedia learning biology material structure and cell function in SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat was validated by material experts 94.17% with very valid categories, media experts 80.01% with very valid criteria and 81.25% design experts with very valid criteria and field trials that show a positive response to the use of multimedia learning by 85.95% with very positive criteria. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students before using multimedia learning is 65.67 and after using multimedia learning is 81.67 with a good category. Keywords: Multimedia Learning Biology Material Structure and Cell Function, 4D model

Abstract

The writing of this scientific article aims to know the effective condition of learners in the learning process at SMK Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta. These effective conditions are important things that we should be mindful of. Because it is in this condition that students are able to receive science delivered by teachers easily. To achieve this situation, a teacher should take into account what factors affect the learning process, what a student needs during the learning process. So with this research we observe to know what is the effective condition of learners in the learning process. We use qualitative method with direct observation and student interviews in the X-Class of pharmacy at SMK Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta. The results of this study were obtained that most students and teachers have both applied effective learning conditions.

Abstract

According to the Standard of National Industry No 01-7890-2010, the dried noodle is the noodle that has been produced with drying process till its moisture content is 8-10% left. The unit production system of instant noodle through the drying process is operated with frying process at vacuum condition. This drying process uses amounts of energy and high air temperature. This process is enough strategic to design, research, and innovate subsequently it is able to build the tray dryer instrument. The drying time needed (1-2 hours) is depending on dimension of the unit, the material capacity as the feed dehumidified, and the heat source that come from steam boiler/coil of air heater. The fabrication of this unit is supposed to make instant noodle/dried noodle based on SNI standard. The product obtained will be analyzed to determine the moisture content remained inside dried noodle and also to find out the operational condition of tray dryer unit. The most optimum drying time is 120 minutes at the drying temperature of 70ᵒC with the moisture content remained as much as 9.3% inside dried noodle and it’s filled up the SNI standard namely 8-10% and the process efficiency of this unit is 61.99%.

Abstract

This study aims to study the physical characteristics of vulcanized rubber using various clay fillers from layers in the PT. Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk .. This research was conducted 6 formulas (1,2,3,4,5,6), each variation of clay type INT A2-B1, OBA1, Lower C, INT A1-A2, INT B2-C, INT B1-B2. Then with the same variation carried out the addition of chemicals in the form of JHS-69 and PEG 4000 in each of the 6 formulas as much as 1 phr. The natural rubber used is RSS-1 then rubber is modified and vulcanized along with other process materials in the open mill. Based on the results of the study it has been analyzed that rubber compound number 4 using JH-S69 is better than other rubber compounds, which have a tensile strength value of 17.2 Mpa, elongation at break of 670%, modulus of 300% 4 Mpa, and tear strength 33 kN / m. Whereas the best rubber compound using PEG 4000 is compound number 2 which has a tensile strength value of 16.6 Mpa, elongation at break of 690%, modulus of 300% 2.4 Mpa, and tear strength 28.8 kN / m. From the results of the analysis of the physical properties, the two compounds meet the SNI 0778:2009 standards to be used as shoe soles products.

Abstract

Coconut protein concentrate (blondo) can be used as a milk product because it has a high nutrient and mineral content, so it can be used as an affordable alternative to formula milk to treat malnutrition in Indonesia. Coconut protein concentrate (blondo) is packaged in powder form, so that the product lasts longer. Vacuum freeze dryer is suitable for drying coconut protein concentrate (blondo) which is susceptible to high temperatures to avoid denaturation of its protein content. Coconut protein concentrate (blondo) with mass variations of 40 and 50 gr was put into a freeze dryer to be dried with variations in vacuum pressure at 64, 67, 70 and 73 cmHg. The comparison of the quality of each product will be viewed from the moisture, protein and fat content. Based on the results of the analysis obtained, at a vacuum pressure of 73 cmHg with a mass of 50 gr has the best quality results with a moisture content of 4.99%, a protein content of 23.84% and a fat content of 10.90%. Thus, the greater the vacuum pressure, the better the quality of the product.

Abstract

Efforts to minimize environmental pollution caused by solid waste in the form of boiler ash are managed and reused into new materials that have economic value. Boiler ash has a high enough silica content which can be used as an alternative raw material for making adsorbents in the form of silica gel. This study aims to synthesize silica gel from variations of boiler ash and determine the effect of HCl concentration on its physical properties. The boiler ash used comes from PT Tanjungenim Lestari Pulp and Paper, PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja and PT Sriwijaya Palm Oil Indonesia. Silica gel synthesis was carried out by extracting boiler ash with 3 M NaOH solution for 1 hour, then the extraction results in the form of Sodium Silicate were precipitated using HCl with various concentrations of 1, 3 and 5 M. The physical properties of the synthesized silica gel were analyzed by analyzing the SiO2 content, water content, and absorption capacity of water vapor. The effect of HCl concentration on the physical properties of the synthesized silica gel showed the highest yield value in SG PP, SG PS, and SG PO respectively amounted to 15.6176%, 21.6115% and 24.5215%.The highest SiO2 content value in a row in SG PP, PS SG and SG PO amounted to 39.48%, 52.73% and 50.74%.
