Abstract

Pengeringan biji kakao yang dilakukan masyarakat saat ini masih secara manual (konvensional), yaitu dengan memanfaatkan energi cahaya matahari (dijemur), sehingga memakan waktu yang cukup lama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mempercepat proses pengeringan pada biji kakao dengan menggunakan alat pengering tipe tray dryer. Pengering tipe tray dryer yang dirancang memanfaatkan tenaga dari solar cell sebagai media pengeringan. Pada penelitian ini, alat tray dryer dirancang memiliki kapasitas 1 kg dengan 4 tray yang berbahan aluminium, alat ini juga dilengkapi dengan solar cell berkapasitas 50 watt-peak. Parameter yang diukur pada penelitian ini di antaranya, massa biji kakao sebelum pengeringan, massa biji kakao sesudah pengeringan, temperatur masuk biji kakao, temperatur keluar biji kakao, temperatur masuk udara, temperatur keluar udara, laju udara masuk, laju udara keluar, perpindahan panas konveksi, konduksi, radiasi, humidity, dan relatif humidity dengan variasi temperatur pengeringan 60℃ dan 70℃, serta variasi waktu pengeringan 15 menit sampai 180 menit. Menentukan efisiensi alat tray dryer dari perpindahan panas secara konduksi, konveksi, dan radiasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja dari alat tray dryer cukup optimal untuk mengeringkan biji kakao karena mampu menguapkan kadar air pada biji kakao dengan nilai akhir 11,88% pada temperatur 70℃ selama 180 menit. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan bahwasannya kualitas biji kakao sudah hampir mendekati ketentuan SNI-01-2323-2008 yaitu 7,5%. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan efisiensi thermal alat tertinggi dengan nilai 73,35% pada temperatur 70℃.

Abstract

Pemerintah telah menetapkan target untuk mencapai tingkat kewirausahaan sebesar 4% pada tahun 2024, tapi tingkat kewirausahaan di kalangan pelajar Indonesia masih tergolong rendah, khususnya di Kabupaten Bima. Berdasarkan isu tersebut, focus utama pada pengabdian ini ialah meningkatkan angka kewirausahaan dilakangan remaja yang ada di Indonesia khsususnya di Kabupaten Bima. Selain itu juga, tujuan lain dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan motivasi, bimbingan dan mentoring kepada siswa SMA Negeri 2 Woha. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini ada tiga, pertama persiapan kegiatan meliputi koordinasi awal untuk menggali informasi terkait kewirausahaan. Kedua pelaksanaa, kegiatan seminar dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah yang didukung oleh pendekatan presentasi yang efektif. Ketiga evaluasi, untuk mengetahui kekurangan kegiatan tersebut. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukan bahwa antuasiasi siswa siswi dalam berwirausaha sangat tinggi, tetapi mereka memiliki tingkat kepercayaan diri yang sangat rendah. Dengan adanya seminar ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri para siswa siswi di SMA Negeri 2 Woha.

Abstract

Clean Melati Waste Bank (BSMB) Atsiri Permai is an institution driving community empowerment in terms of effective waste management as an application of the green economy concept which will provide great benefits for the community's economy and environmental sustainability. BSMB Atsiri Permai activities have been running since 2013 with the motto Clean and Smile Movement starting from 3 R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) which is an inorganic waste management technique starting from providing information about how to sort inorganic waste and collect used cooking oil. The aim of this PKM Program is to apply digital technology to the management of BSMB Atsiri Permai RW. 12 to improve BSMB activity services for its customers in obtaining the necessary information anytime and anywhere as well as making it easier to create website-based financial reports. The method used is by providing counseling, training and assistance regarding the use of waste bank management applications and website-based financial reports on BSMB and evaluation by providing questionnaires with indicators of website usability, ease of recording and accessing data, types of information and reports on the Waste Bank website Atsiri Permai. The results of the PkM show that the website-based Waste Bank Application Training is very beneficial for BSMB Atsiri Permai, such as providing activity information that can be accessed at any time and can be widely reached as well as making it easier to record, manage the Waste Bank, report to customers and prepare financial reports to increase transparency. and accountability in fund management. Technology and to minimize recording errors. There has been an increase in understanding and skills in using waste bank management applications and preparing financial reports by 90%.

Abstract

ABSTRAKIndonesia membutuhkan plastik biodegradable untuk memitigasi limbah plastik terakumulasi di lingkungan. Plastik biodegradable mudah terurai, sehingga mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Plastik biodegradable dibuat menggunakan metode solution casting dengan bahan-bahan yaitu NaOH, NaOCl, HCl, asam asetat, gliserol, dan aquadest. Selulosa yang diekstraksi dari tongkol jagung pada penelitian ini memiliki kadar 83,1466%, dan digunakan dalam pembuatan plastik biodegradable, untuk membuat variasi selulosa 0% dan 10% dan penambahan gliserol sebagai plasticizer dengan variasi 0, 1, 3, 5, dan 7 ml. Karakterisasi meliputi uji kekuatan tarik, elongasi, daya serap air, dan biodegradasi. Hasil karakterisasi menyatakan bahwa uji kekuatan tarik terbaik mencapai 403,392 MPa di sampel dengan 0% selulosa dan tanpa tambahan gliserol. Nilai elongasi terbesar yaitu 28%, terdapat pada sampel dengan 10% selulosa dan penambahan 7 ml gliserol. Plastik menunjukkan daya serap air terbaik dengan nilai 27,86% pada sampel dengan 0% selulosa dan tanpa tambahan gliserol. Selama waktu degradasi selama 5 hari, plastik biodegradable dari selulosa tongkol jagung mencapai tingkat degradasi tertinggi sebesar 31,9293% pada sampel dengan 0% selulosa dan tanpa tambahan gliserol.Kata kunci : Gliserol; Plastik biodegradable; Selulosa; Tongkol JagungABSTRACT Indonesia requires biodegradable plastic to mitigate accumulation plastic waster in the envirnment. Biodegradable plastic easily decompose to mitigate negatve impacts to the environment. Biodegradable plastics were produced using the solution casting method with materials namely NaOH, NaOCl, HCl, acetic acid, glycerol, and distilled water. Cellulose extracted at 83.1466% concentration was used in the production of these plastics to make variations of 0% and 10% cellulosa, and glycerol added as a plasticizer in variations of 0, 1, 3, 5, and 7 ml. Characterization included testing for tensile strength, elongation, water absorption, and biodegradation. The characterization results indicated that the highest tensile strength test reached 403.392 MPa in samples with 0% cellulose and no additional glycerol. The greatest elongation value, 28%, was found in samples with 10% cellulose and 7 ml glycerol added. The plastic exhibited the best water absorption capacity with a value of 27,86 % in samples with 0% cellulose and no additional glycerol. Over a degradation period of 5 days, biodegradable plastics made from corn cob cellulose achieved the highest degradation rate of 31.9293% in samples with 0% cellulose and no additional glycerol.Keywords : Biodegradable Plastic; Cellulose; Corn Cob; Glycerol

Abstract

Kandungan gas CO2 yang berlebih dalam udara akan menyebabkan efek greenhouse. Efek greenhouse akan meningkatkan suhu atmosfer sehingga menimbulkan efek pemanasan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui laju alir cair, laju aliran gas CO2 dan temperatur terhadap kinetika absorbsi CO2  yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya efek greenhouse dari gas buangan kendaraan bermotor. Proses penyerapan gas CO2  oleh NaOH yang  lebih efektif dan efisien , dilihat dari pengaruh  tingginya konsentrasi NaOH, volume NaOH  dan waktu NaOH dan Gas CO2 mencapai titik jenuh. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan alat  reaktor kolom gelembung pancaran untuk mengetahui  laju  alir gas, laju alir cairan dan temperatur yang akan  diukur hasil absorbsi nya dengan menngunakan Gas Analyzer. Hasil analisis laju alir cair didapatkan hasil terbaik dengan laju alir di 0,6 dan 0,8. Data analisis temperature didapatkan hasil terbaik dengan laju alir di 0,8 dan temperatur 40 Co dan 50 Co. Hasil analisis laju alir gas terbaik didapatkan nilai 0,5, konsentasi 0,4 dan temperatur 50 Co dengan konversi CO2 0.8446 ppm.

Abstract

Latar Belakang. Pijat oksitosin adalah pemijatan pada tulang belakang hingga tulang rusuk kelima-enam, bertujuan merangsang hormon prolaktin dan oksitosin setelah melahirkan untuk memperlancar produksi ASI. Tujuan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu menyusui guna mendukung keberhasilan ASI eksklusif dan memperlancar produksi ASI. Metode. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Desa Boyolangu Kabupaten Banyuwangi melalui seminar, pendampingan, dan praktik langsung pijat oksitosin kepada 20 ibu menyusui dengan bayi usia 0-24 bulan. Luaran berupa leaflet dan peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pijat oksitosin. Hasil. Setelah edukasi, pengetahuan ibu menyusui meningkat dari 45% (kurang) menjadi 70% (baik). Kegiatan ini signifikan mendukung keberhasilan ASI eksklusif, dengan peserta lebih memahami teknik pijat oksitosin dan percaya diri menerapkannya sehari-hari. Kesimpulan. Pengabdian ini memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu menyusui, berkontribusi pada optimalisasi dukungan bagi mereka dalam menyusui.

Abstract

Reflective learning is used to improve writing skills, and track the learning process regarding what students understand and what they do not understand. However, little research has explored the impact of reflective learning on students' critical thinking, especially in higher education. This study aims to fills the gap by exploring Indonesian EFL students in the seventh semester of using reflective learning in improving critical thinking skills and identifying their development of critical thinking skills through reflective learning. Questionnaires and students’ reflective learning are provided for data collection. The result reveal that from the questionnaire, reflective learning has an impact on students' critical thinking of 79.99%. Furthermore, it is also found that from students’ reflective learning participated in this study employed three development of critical thinking skills: 1) identify the strength, 2) recognize the weaknesses, and 3) find out the solution. Finding suggest that strategic use of reflective learning may enhance EFL critical thinking skills as well as maximize the achievement of their learning goals.

Abstract

One company that always gets a lot of prospective employees is PT. Fullmoon Jaya Abadi is engaged in the wholesale trade of special CCTV material. At PT. Fullmoon Jaya Abadi data obtained from the employee recruitment process still use manual methods, so the HRD (Human Resource Development) division must sort and select applicants one by one. A large number of candidates make the HRD division often have difficulty in choosing prospective employees, and subjectivity occurs when they want to decide so that the company accepts employees who do not fit the criteria set by the company. To overcome the problem of making decisions on employee acceptance at PT. Jaya Fullmoon Abadi is using the Multi-Objective Optimization method based on ratio analysis (MOORA). In research data collected based on the position of prospective employees. The results obtained in this study determine each position to receive as many as three prospective employees, namely Arianto Wibowo, Deny Saputra, and Irdha Febriani Awaliyah Ibrahim in the Sales position. Ilham Akbar N.S, Johan Salim, and Alfi Muhayyar in the Graphic Design position. Agustin Sulistyani, Sri Mulyani, and Serli Damayanti in the Accounting Staff position. Abstract

In the current era, the development of information technology and social media is growing rapidly so that it can provide updated information and various kinds of public opinion. Many internet users in Indonesia use social media for various purposes, such as seeking information and expressing opinions through social media. One of the social media that is widely used by internet users in Indonesia is Twitter. Twitter users can provide information in the form of comments, criticisms, or suggestions for Comutterline services more quickly and easily. Sentiment analysis can help provide an overview of public perception by grouping opinions into positive and negative categories for Commuterline services. Conducting sentiment analysis based on comments or Tweets from the community on Twitter Commuterline to determine the performance of the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm, Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE), AdaBoost, and N-Gram so that machine learning implementation can help identify public opinion conveyed through Twitter automatically into positive and negative categories. The use of the Naïve Bayes Classifier, Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE), AdaBoost, and N-Gram methods which are considered better to generate predictions on tweets sent by CommuterLine users

Abstract

PT. Gramedia Asri Media established the Gramedia Digital Technical Department which implements remote work so that it is possible for employees working in various places to stay connected and collaborate. However, with the limited space and time for employees and the difficulty of meeting at one time to get various trainings, then MOOC is expected to be the answer to the need for workers to get proper training and in accordance with the technical capabilities required by the company. MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) is an example of technological development of the learning process that offers flexibility in time and place. Currently, there are many alternative MOOC providers with various criteria, so it is necessary to choose the one that is most suitable for its users. One method of making decisions based on many criteria is AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). This study uses 5 criteria, namely Teacher Credibility, Certificate, Price, Course Topics and Course Time and 4 alternatives, namely Coursera, EdX, Udemy and Codecademy, where the course topic is obtained as the priority with a priority weight of 0.2289 then followed by Course time with a priority weight of 0.2238 Price with priority weight 0.2133, Credibility of teachers with priority weight 0.1833, Certificate with priority weight 0.1508. While the alternative with the priority is Udemy with a priority weight of 0.4379 followed by Coursera with a priority weight of 0.2234, Codecademy with a priority weight of 0.1989 and lastly Edx with a priority weight of 0.1723.
