Abstract

Coffee is one of the plantation commodities that has an important role in foreign trade. In 1712, Indonesian coffee plantations were traded for the first time to the Netherlands (KP Gayo, 2016). Aceh coffee, which is better known internationally is the type of Gayo Arabica coffee because it has a distinctive aroma and taste. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. This research was conducted in Aceh Tengah. This is because Aceh Tengah is one of the main production Aceh Tengah. The objects of this research are the trade office, the agriculture office, coffee expert staff, Gayo arabica coffee farmers and the four green been coffee agroindustry and coffee grounds which have the largest export quotas in Bener Meriah Regency, namely KBQ Baburrayyan, Oro Coffee Cooperative, and PT Olam Coffee. The data collection method used is in-depth interviews with several key persons belonging to the research object. The results showed that the output value obtained from pumpkin coffee products was Rp. 27,176 per Kg with an added value of Rp. 22,176 per Kg. The output value obtained from green bean products is Rp. 56,950/Kg with an added value of Rp. 13,050/Kg. The output value obtained from the Gayo Arabica coffee powder product is Rp. 123.500/Kg with an added value of Rp. 36.500/Kg. 176 per Kg with an added value of Rp. 22,176 per Kg. The output value obtained from green bean products is Rp. 56,950/Kg with an added value of Rp. 13,050/Kg. The output value obtained from the Gayo Arabica coffee powder product is Rp. 123.500/Kg with an added value of Rp. 36.500/Kg. 176 per Kg with an added value of Rp. 22,176 per Kg. Abstract

The global Covid-19 pandemic certainly has an impact on various sectors, especially in the economic sector and of course also has a significant impact on tourism, the trade sector, industry including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Creative products have great potential to be able to deliver the city that has the industry into an advanced and independent creative economy city. The use of information technology for business resource management for creative products is still under-attentioned, which in turn has administrative, financial, process, and access to banking and financial institutions weaknesses. This study aims to formulate a strategy to increase added value for the MSME sector of North Sumatra Province, namely the Economic Value-Added method and implement efforts to cooperate with the Indonesia Stock Exchange through the mechanism of acceleration boards and Initial Public Offering (IPO) to obtain long-term financing facilities and introduce MSME business unit to the wider community into a medium-class public company. This scientific research also aims to provide recommendations for sustainable strategies for the MSME sector, especially in the province of North Sumatra in running a business amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is qualitative research using a mix method by conducting interviews with the target population, namely 200 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises spread in North Sumatra Province and formulating a model for increasing MSME productivity with the introduction of the acceleration board method and collaborating with the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the coaching process. In this study, a focus group discussion will be held by inviting local officials from related offices of North Sumatra province and academics to provide input in completing the strategy development model for increasing MSME productivity by focusing on the Economic value-added method. The outputs of this research are publications of reputable international journals, international proceedings, and reference books for ISBN certified research results with TKT level 3.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of career development and work environment on the performance of the Aceh Agriculture and Livestock Service Office employees. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 employees. The data analysis method is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that career development and employee work environment had a significant effect on work motivation and employee performance. In addition, career development and work environment also have a direct effect on performance. Work motivation partially mediates the effect of career development, work environment on performance. The Department of Agriculture and Livestock is expected to improve career development in order to create a conducive work environment to improve employee performance at the Aceh Agriculture and Livestock Service Office.

Abstract

Restructuring and privatization are important efforts to increase the efficiency and productivity of SOEs. This research aims to formulate strategies in regulating and controlling companies to increase business success while taking into account the interests of stakeholders and reducing agency conflicts in order to achieve company goals. So that investors in the capital market are very concerned about the company's ability to generate, support, and increase profits. Profitability can be measured in several different ways, but in interrelated dimensions. First, there is a relationship between profit and sales so that there is a residual return for the company per rupiah of sales. Return on sales can be in the form of a net profit margin ratio. Liquidity is an indicator of the company's ability to pay all short-term financial obligations at maturity using available current assets. Liquidity is not only related to the overall financial condition of the company, but also relates to the ability to convert certain current assets into cash. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research, namely critical observation to obtain precise information on a particular problem and object in the area of a community group or certain location will be studied or described or described a situation as clearly as possible without any treatment of the object being studied. researched. In this study, the object of research is a state-owned company listed on the LQ45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. and the location of this research is the Indonesia Stock Exchange by accessing its official website through the website www.idx.co.id. Abstract

Cryptocurrency is one of the investment commodities that can generate returns and already has a permit to be traded in exchange trading through the Indonesian Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (BAPEPTI). Digital crypto assets traded in Indonesia are quite a lot through the Indodax trading company. The purpose of this study is focused on formulating a risk management process in investing in digital cryptocurrency assets. In addition, the results of this study will produce policy recommendations known as LCTR or "Legal Cryptocurrency and Tax Revenue" which are expected to be considered by the government in formulating policies on digital crypto assets so that the interests of all parties can be accommodated in order to realize maximum state revenue from trading digital crypto asset commodities. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a research population of 10 cryptocurrency coins with the largest market caps in Indonesia, namely Cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC) , Stellar, DASH, Dogecoin, Zcash, Monero in Indonesia. The type of data in this study is time series data taken from January 2017 to December 2020 by conducting a documentation study conducted on the publication of monthly cryptocurrency transaction reports, so that a target population of 480 (4 years x 12 months x 10 coins) monthly report data was obtained for the research sample. The data analysis method in this study uses multiple linear regression and data analysis using e-views statistical software version 10.

Abstract

This study determines the effects of company profit and loss and the type of industry on the profitability of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV North Sumatra. This study used a quantitative method with multiple linear regression equation models to answer the research problems. The results show that the Profit and Loss variable has a positive and significant effect, the type of industry variable has a significant effect, and the Profit and Loss variable and Industry Type have a significant effect simultaneously on the Profitability of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV. Companies should be able to increase revenue by reducing costs efficiently so that the profits obtained can increase and financial performance can be better. PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV has a good profitability ratio. To further increase profits in the following year, the company must be able to manage the capital invested in assets and increase net income to obtain a better net profit.

Abstract

The Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic which has an impact on the economy is no exception to the community around the UNIMAL Faculty of Agriculture. The COVID-19 pandemic condition in Aceh caused UNIMAL to carry out online/online-based lecture activities according to the direction of the Ministry of Education and Culture. Campus activities with an online system cause students to carry out the learning process from their home area so they are not in the environment around UNIMAL. The regulation of the online learning system due to the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Pandemic which dealt a tremendous blow to the economy of the community around the UNIMAL Faculty of Agriculture as traders in the UNIMAL environment and providers of rental houses for students. Then, the lack of knowledge of housewives in East Reulet about what business prospects can be run and the cleanliness and food safety of processed products that need to be realized for public health are the basis for this activity to be carried out. The location of the community service was taken around the UNIMAL Faculty of Agriculture Institution, namely Gampong Reulet Timur, North Aceh Regency. At the preparation stage, the implementation of activities begins with increasing coordination and synergistic cooperation between the parties involved, namely Academic Activists (Lecturers) and the targeted community groups. The implementation methodology is designed for mentors in the form of a participatory approach and refers to the adult learning process (adult-learning), which consists of: (1) Providing information related to sauce processing, (2) assignment or direct practice of sauce processing.

Abstract

The increasingly massive Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic has recently changed the system/order of people's lives in Indonesia. This system is known as the New Normal Era. At this time, the existing employment system in Indonesia forced various job providers to reduce the number of workers due to capital problems and social distancing rules. The prohibition of gathering in one place en masse caused job providers to lay off some employees, thus increasing the number of unemployed. This also happened in North Aceh District. Many young workers are forced to leave work because of the limited job opportunities available in North Aceh District. The formation of a new business/business accompanied by the skill of understanding the quality of the product to be produced is the best solution in this condition. Understanding product quality will certainly help entrepreneurs to determine market segmentation, marketing strategies, production costs, types of raw materials used and what risks must be faced. One of the businesses that are very popular with entrepreneurs today is the business of processed drinks from Arabica coffee commodities. Arabica coffee from Aceh Province is better known as Gayo coffee. Gayo coffee is quite famous in the world because it has a distinctive aroma and enjoyment and if it is cupped or taste tested. The location of community service is taken in the North Aceh Regency area considering the location of the Faculty of Agriculture, Malikussaleh University which is located in North Aceh Regency, it is expected to be able to make a direct contribution to reducing unemployment through deepening entrepreneurial skills in working age youth through product quality improvement training and coffee test cupping to face new normal challenge in north aceh. The implementation method is designed for mentoring in the form of a participatory approach and refers to the adult learning process (adult-learning) which consists of: (1) Presentation of material equipped with Power Point presentations and simulation materials, (2) limited discussion in accordance with health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID, (3) the assignment or practice of physical testing and coffee cupping tests are (1) to produce agents of change in the "job creation" paradigm from the "job seeker" paradigm among working-age youth, (2) become a forum for soft skills training related to product quality for youth of working age as a provision for business/business formation activities, (3) as a reference for the next community service activity. The output targets to be achieved from this activity are:Publication of activities in print or online media, (3) Survey/Questionnaire of Understanding Product Quality Control to assess the improvement of Human Resources competitiveness.

Abstract

The pandemic of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) has been giving a considerable impact on various sectors in Indonesia, especially in the trade sector. The corona epidemic which has become increasing massive lately has ultimately disrupted the marketing process to a significant point. World Trade is currently facing a big challenge, namely economic recession for almost all countries in the world. To deal with this problem, Indonesia must be able to design a strategy so that it can survive the threat of an economic recession. The solution that can be implemented is to increase export potential for superior commodities. One of the export commodities that will be able to maintain Indonesia's economic position is Gayo Arabica coffee. Gayo coffee is one of the most popular types of Arabica coffee in the international market. This opportunity can be the main basis for avoiding economic recession conditions. Gayo coffee has been recognized as one of the best coffee beans in the world. During The pandemic of COVID-19, hygiene was the most important issue in all process. Many kinds of perspectives about the processing of Gayo Arabica coffee are considered not qualified with international quality in terms of hygiene / food safety which can be the main obstacles in the process of the Gayo Arabica coffee trade itself. Promotion strategy is one of the best solutions in dealing with these food safety issues. The promotional strategy is directed at designing a promotional video that explains how the Gayo Arabica coffee processing heppens in accordance with the health protocol during the COVID-19 pandemic. This activity can improve the marketing strategy with training on the design of the Gayo Arabica coffee promotion video which aims to: provide knowledge about the design of the Gayo Arabica coffee promotion video, to become a forum for training the skills of young farmers in product marketing strategies, as a reference for the next community service activities. Activities were carried out in Central Aceh District from July to December.
