Abstract

Public services at the village level are the spearhead of successful governance. Good service quality will improve the welfare of the village community and strengthen community participation in development. This study aims to analyse the factors that influence the quality of public services in the village and the efforts that have been made to improve them. The research methods used are literature study and case analysis. The results show that the quality of public services in the village is influenced by several factors, such as the capacity of the village apparatus, budget availability, community participation, and local government support. Efforts to improve the quality of public services in the village include increasing the capacity of village officials through training, transparency in village budget management, and community empowerment

Abstract

This research is motivated by increasing merger and acquisition (M&A) activity at the global and national levels, where corporate communication has become a critical factor in determining the success of the integration process. Although the value of global M&A transactions will reach US$ 3.8 trillion by 2022, around 70% of M&A transactions fail to achieve their strategic objectives, with poor communication being one of the main factors of such failure. This research aims to analyze the strategy and impact of corporate communication in the M&A context, with a special focus on effective communication practices at the global level and their adaptation in the Indonesian context using a systematic literature study research method. The research results show that companies that implement a structured communication strategy from the early stages of M&A have a 40% higher integration success rate. In Indonesia, communication approaches that combine global standards with local values, such as deliberation and a family approach, have proven to be more effective in facilitating the integration process. Research also reveals that companies that integrate digital platforms in their M&A communications strategy achieve 45% higher levels of employee engagement, while social media monitoring is becoming increasingly critical with 70% of reputation issues during M&A stemming from discussions on social media. This research provides theoretical contributions to the development of adaptive M&A communication models as well as practical implications for communications professionals and executives involved in the M&A process

Abstract

This research explores the role of trade unions in enhancing the quality and development of human resources (HR) in the context of globalization and digitalization challenges. Facing the dynamics of labor market changes and rapid technological advancements, the role of trade unions becomes increasingly important in maintaining employee welfare and competitiveness. Using a qualitative approach, this study analyzes how trade unions can influence company policies related to training and skill development, wage negotiations, and the creation of a harmonious work environment. The findings of the study indicate that trade unions serve as the primary advocates for employee rights, ensuring that employees have fair access to skill development programs and training relevant to current market needs. Moreover, trade unions play a crucial role in facilitating dialogue between management and employees, contributing to the creation of more inclusive and responsive work policies in the face of global challenges. Trade unions also face challenges in adjusting their strategies to the trends of digitalization, which require the enhancement of digital skills and adaptation to technological changes

Abstract

This study examines the communication strategy of Choyan Garage Auto Service Car Cilegon in maintaining customer loyalty amid the increasingly competitive automotive service sector. The research applies a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Theoretical frameworks used include the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM), which explains message processing through central and peripheral routes, and Uses and Gratifications, which explores consumers’ reasons for choosing particular communication media. The findings reveal that the central route is implemented through detailed and transparent technical explanations, fulfilling customers’ cognitive needs. Meanwhile, the peripheral route is reflected in the use of social media, particularly TikTok, to present promotions, testimonials, and engaging visual content that appeals to emotional and entertainment needs. The combination of these two approaches has proven effective in building trust and sustaining customer loyalty.

Abstract

Munculnya dunia maya telah mengubah kebiasaan banyak orang terutama dalam kehidupannya terbiasa menggunakan internet. Berbagai kejahatan telah terjadi di dunia maya ini, kasus-kasus tersebut tentu saja merugikan dan berdampak negatif, kejahatan dunia maya semacam ini tidak hanya mencakup Indonesia, tetapi juga mencakup seluruh dunia diantaranya kejahatan yang terjadi disebabkan oleh maraknya penggunaan e-mail. Tujuan penelitian ini agar pemahaman masyarakat dalam menggunakan internet secara bijak dan mengetahui hukum dalam penggunaan media sosial digital sesuai pada UU ITE Tahun 2008. Metode penelitian Metode deskriptif dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan Yuridis Kualitatif. Metode penelitian ini bersifat normatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan hukum terkait. Hasil pembahasan pelanggaran pemanfaatan teknologi informasidi atas dalam UU ITE sudah termasuk dalam perbuatan yang dilarang dan dikenakan ancaman sanksi pidana, kecuali dengan sengaja menghilangkan bukti-bukti elektronik yang dapat dijadikan alat bukti sah di pengadilan yang terdapat pada suatu sistem informasi atau sistem komputer dan setiap badan hukum penyelenggara jasa akses internet atau penyelenggara layanan teknologi informasi. Undang-Undang ITE diatur bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan transaksi elektronik dilaksanakan berdasarkan asas kepastian hukum, manfaat, kehati-hatian, iktikad baik, dan kebebasan memilih teknologi atau netral teknologi.

Abstract

Community service represents one of the fundamental contributions of academics to social development, particularly in the educational sector. This article elaborates on the implementation of a community engagement program entitled Towards Smart Pesantren through Digital Transformation, conducted on May 28, 2025, at SMA Bi’rul Ulum Cisait, Serang, Banten. The initiative emerged from an inter-university collaboration aimed at enhancing the digital capacities of santri (Islamic boarding school students) to better prepare them for the challenges of the digital age. The program focused on training in graphic design, public speaking, an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI), and human resource development (HRD) in the digital context. Methods employed in the program included lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice, allowing participants to gain both theoretical understanding and practical skills. The participatory approach fostered active engagement and created an enriching learning environment. Evaluation results indicated a high level of enthusiasm among the participants and a marked improvement in their grasp of fundamental digital competencies. This program exemplifies the strategic potential of inter-institutional academic collaboration in supporting the digital transformation of pesantren-based education in Indonesia. It is expected that the initiative can serve as a replicable and sustainable model for future community service efforts in similar educational contexts, particularly in promoting 21st-century skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing communication strategies implemented by the Banten Province Cooperatives and MSMEs Office to increase consumer loyalty towards the products of its fostered MSMEs. Marketing communication strategies are a crucial aspect in creating long-term relationships between MSMEs and consumers, given the increasingly competitive market in the digital era. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of MSMEs, consumers, and the MSME Cooperatives and MSMEs Office. The results show that the marketing communication strategies implemented include a digital-based promotional approach, improving the quality of information services, utilizing social media as a means of interaction, and holding regular product exhibition events. The implementation of these strategies can increase brand awareness, build trust, and strengthen consumers' emotional attachment to local MSME products. However, this study also found obstacles in the form of limited digital literacy among some MSMEs and limited promotional budgets. The conclusion of this study confirms that an integrated, consistent, and participatory marketing communication strategy plays a crucial role in building consumer loyalty, and needs to be supported by ongoing training programs and communication media innovation.

Abstract

Komunikasi korporat sangat penting dalam bisnis hotel dan pariwisata. Hal ini menjamin "keamanan citra merek", yang berkembang menjadi reputasi perusahaan. Reputasi ini menjadi senjata ampuh dalam persaingan era Industri 4.0. Penelitian mengenai strategi komunikasi korporat seringkali menggunakan metode kualitatif dan tinjauan literatur. Tujuannya untuk menggali teori dan hubungan antar variabel dari buku dan jurnal. Metode penelitian ini bersifat induktif dan tidak mengarahkan pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diajukan peneliti. Tujuan kegiatan komunikasi korporat adalah menciptakan dan memelihara hubungan yang baik, erat, dan berkelanjutan. Hal ini sangat penting pada saat terjadi konflik perusahaan. Perusahaan harus mendapatkan legitimasi dari otoritas terkait untuk memastikan loyalitas dari masyarakat internal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi Corporate Communication pada perusahaan Geprek Bensu terjadi kegiatan Komunikasi Perusahaan yang didasarkan pada pengambilan keputusan dan kualitas produk. Pengambilan keputusan dalam suatu organisasi sangatlah penting untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan. Perspektif fungsional pengambilan keputusan kelompok mencakup empat tugas: analisis masalah, penetapan tujuan, identifikasi alternatif, dan evaluasi konsekuensi. Kualitas produk merupakan strategi perusahaan untuk menghasilkan produk berkualitas baik yang memenuhi harapan konsumen. Peran perusahaan adalah menjaga produknya agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dan manfaat konsumen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran dan tantangan komunikasi korporasi dalam menghadapi transformasi masyarakat ke arah Society 5.0. Society 5.0 menandai integrasi mendalam teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, menekankan enam literasi dasar, termasuk literasi data dan literasi teknologi. Fokus penelitian adalah pembaharuan individu, perusahaan, dan penyelesaian masalah sosial untuk mencapai tujuan Society 5.0. Komunikasi korporasi dianggap krusial dalam era ini untuk menjaga hubungan dengan pemangku kepentingan dan merefleksikan perubahan pola komunikasi perusahaan. Tantangan meliputi perubahan teknologi, overload informasi, keamanan data, resistensi terhadap perubahan, dan krisis reputasi online. Peluangnya terletak pada personalisasi melalui kecerdasan buatan, interaktivitas dengan publik, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, menerapkan analisis literatur untuk memahami peran komunikasi korporasi di era Society 5.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pentingnya peran komunikasi korporasi dalam era society 5.0 tidak dapat diabaikan. komunikasi korporasi bukan hanya sebagai pendukung, tetapi juga menjadi faktor penentu kesuksesan perusahaan. dengan menjaga hubungan positif dengan berbagai pemangku kepentingan dan menyesuaikan pola komunikasi perusahaan, perusahaan dapat membangun kepercayaan, meningkatkan loyalitas, dan bersaing secara efektif dalam masyarakat yang semakin terkoneksi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Upaya koperasi Simpan Pinjam dan Pembiayaan Syariah (KSPPS) Abdi Kerta Raharja dalam meningkatkan citra positif terhadap masyarakat di tengah persaingan dengan Kompetitor. Bagaimana KSPPS Abdi Kerta Raharja meningkatkan kualitas SDM dengan terus meningkatkan pelayanan sebaik mungkin agar dapat memberikan kepuasan pelayanan dari anggota koperasi. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melaluị wawançara, observasi, dan melakukan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini disebutkan bahwa KSPPS Abdi Kerta Rahrja melakukan berbagai inovasi dan terobosan baru juga kegiatan sosial yang dapat membangun citra, Setelah itu juga penulis menjelaskan bagaimana respon anggota koperasi terhadap Upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh KSPPS Abdi Kerta Rahraja untuk mengukur keberhasilan dari berbagai Upaya yang dilakukan dalam membangun citra positif yang menjadi tujuan dari Perusahaan/organisasi termasuk yang dilakukan KSPPS Abdi Kerta Raharja untuk tetap bisa bersaing dengan Kompetitor.
