Abstract

Introduction: Hyperthermia is an infection or inflammation caused by bacteria, viruses or other pathogens that stimulates the release of pyrogens that act in the hypothalamus, where they trigger the production of prostaglandins and increase the reference value (set point) of body temperature. Method: Data was collected using the observation method which was recorded in an observation sheet. The results showed that after giving tepid water sponge therapy for 3 days, the patient experienced a reduction in fever. Result: Implementation done in cases of dengue fever with hyperthermia is Hypertermia Management, which includes monitoring body temperature, providing a cool environment, loosening or unloading clothes, wet and soaking body surfaces, giving oral fluids, encouraging sleeping, and giving intravenous fluids and electrolytes. The second implementation that can be done is Temperature Regulation, which includes monitoring a child's body temperature every two hours, monitoring skin color and temperature, monitor blood pressure, respiratory frequency and pulse rate, increasing adequate fluid and nutritional intake, and providing antipyretics. Conclusion: The implementation process of nurses that have been given to patient with hypertermal problems in dengue haemorrhagic fever lasted for 3 days shift time with 3 times administration of therapeutic intervention tepid water Spong. Results of the nursery evaluation in patient. with the problem of hypertermia in Dengue Haemorhagic Fever in there is a decrease in the body temperature in the patient.

Abstract

Introduction: Social interaction played an important role in a child's daily life. If there was no balance of intelligence or interactive abilities, it would be difficult for children to live in society. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the government issued a physical distancing policy. Children couldn't meet and interact with their environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the application of physical distancing and the level of development (social interaction) of children aged 3-6 years in Bantal Village. Method: The research method used is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach design. The study was conducted 93 children with criteria aged 3-6 years who live in Bantal Village, Asembagus District. The exclusion criteria for sick children, have physical limitations and suffer from mental disorders using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection used measuring tools in the form of a questionnaire on the physical distancing and interaction rating scale (IRS) and used the chi-square for the statistical test. Results: The results of the statistical analysis test using the chi-squere value obtained p<É‘ (p=0.001<0.05) so that there is a relationship between the application of physical distancing and the level of development (social interaction) of children aged 3-6 years in Bantal Village, Asembagus District, Situbondo Regency. Conclusions: There was a relationship between the application of physical distancing and the level of development (social interaction) of children aged 3-6 years during the Covid-19 pandemic in Bantal Village.

Abstract

Introduction: Personality type and self-control are internal factors that can determine the behaviour of adolescents, one of which is cyberbullying. Personality determines the nature of adolescents, and self-control is the control of adolescents in holding back their responses and emotions to show behaviour. This study aimed to determine the relationship between personality type and self-control with cyberbullying behaviour in adolescents at Y High School Banyuwangi Regency.Methods: The research method used is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach design. This study was conducted on 196 adolescents using a purposive sampling technique with several inclusion criteria: active students aged 15 to 17 years, users of smartphones, email, and social media. The data were collected by using several measuring instruments: the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) with a reliability test value of α = 0.762, the Brief Self Control Scale with a reliability test value using a T-test with r = 0.18, and the Cyber Aggressore Scale (CYB-AGS) with reliability test value α = 0.867. Logistic regression statistical tests analyzed the data. Results: This study revealed no relationship between personality type and cyberbullying behavior with p-value = 0.573 and a relationship between self-control and cyberbullying behaviour with p-value <0.001.Conclusions: There is no relationship between personality type and cyberbullying behaviour, and there is a relationship between self-control and cyberbullying behaviour at Y High School Banyuwangi Regency. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran aplikasi Canva terhadap kemampuan menulis aksara Sunda pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Ciawigebang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan single-group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Ciawigebang dengan menggunakan sampel kelas X-i. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu soal-soal objektif tertulis dalam bentuk dua soal esai. Hasilnya adalah: 1) Hasil belajar siswa berupa kemampuan menulis aksara Sunda sebelum menggunakan media pembelajaran aplikasi Canva masih jauh dari nilai KKM; 2) Hasil belajar siswa pada kemampuan menulis aksara Sunda setelah menggunakan aplikasi Canva meningkat dari nilai rata-rata 58,47 menjadi 81,25; 3) Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 ; 0,05. Oleh karena itu Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Pengaruh media pembelajaran aplikasi Canva terhadap kemampuan menulis aksara Sunda terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, antara hasil belajar menulis aksara Sunda siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan relevansi koleksi The Little Museum Anak Agung Pandji Tisna sebagai sumber belajar sastra, pemanfaatan The Little Museum Anak Agung Pandji Tisna sebagai sumber belajar sastra, dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam pemanfaatan The Little Museum Anak Agung Pandji Tisna sebagai sumber belajar sastra. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa, pengelola museum, pengunjung museum, guru bahasa Indonesia, dan dosen bahasa Indonesia. Data yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan metode dokumentasi. Tahap analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa The Little Museum Anak Agung Pandji Tisna memiliki koleksi yang bersinambungan dengan pembelajaran sastra. Museum ini memiliki 1986 koleksi, di antaranya terdapat 453 koleksi yang relevan, yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar sastra. Adapun pemanfaatan The Little Museum Anak Agung Pandji Tisna sebagai sumber belajar sastra dengan cara melakukan studi-studi khusus yang dilakukan suatu instansi pendidikan dengan mengunjungi museum Anak Agung Pandji Tisna. Kendala yang ditemukan, yaitu kurangnya pendanaan pada museum yang menjadi permasalahan utama dan kurangnya SDM sehingga museum tidak beroperasi dengan baik.

Abstract

Materi yang bersifat abstrak dan penggunaan model pembelajaran yang masih tradisional menyebabkan siswa cenderung bosan dan merasa kesulitan dalam menerima sebuah ilmu pengetahuan. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan siswa kurang terampil dalam pemecahan masalah karena tidak memahami materi secara detail. Beberapa penelitian dan hasil PISA menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa masih rendah. Keterampilan pemecahan masalah merupakan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang penting dikembangkan pada abad 21. Permasalahan yang terjadi di sekitar perlu untuk dipecahkan dengan keterampilan pemecahan masalah yang mumpuni. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran multi representasi berbantuan Adventure Game. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa literature review yang dilakukan pada beberapa jurnal nasional dan internasional yang memiliki kesesuaian variabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran multi representasi yang dipadukan dengan Adventure Game dapat membuat materi yang abstrak menjadi lebih konkret dan menarik sehingga memudahkan siswa dalam pembelajaran yang berdampak juga pada peningkatan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa terutama untuk materi kelistrikan.

Abstract

Smartphones are a form of technology that is growing rapidly. The use of Smartphones has various impacts on users, especially school-age children. One of the impacts that can occur from using Smartphones on school-age children is the inhibition of psychosocial development. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between the level of Smartphone addiction and the psychosocial development of school-age children in agricultural areas. The method used in this study is by using a cross-sectional approach. Sampling using a simple random sampling technique obtained a sample of 150 respondents. Data collection used the SAS-SV questionnaire and the psychosocial development questionnaire. This study used a relationship test, namely the Kendal-Tau test c. The study results showed that students with Smartphone addiction were in the 106 (70.7%) addiction category and 44 (29.3%) non-addictive categories. While the psychosocial development of children in the abnormal category was 86 (57.3%), the borderline category was 28 (18.7%), and the normal category was 36 (24%). These results show that the p-value obtained is 0.000 or a p-value <0.05. It can be said that there is a relationship between the level of Smartphone addiction and psychosocial development. In addition, the value of strength in both relationships is 0.340. This value is included in the weak category. So, the relationship between the two variables is included in the weak category. Then, the level of correlation shows positive results, namely the higher the level of smartphone addiction, the worse the psychosocial development of children.

Abstract

The nursing clinical practice program is an orientation for students to apply theory to practice and gain competence in nursing skills before graduation. The COVID-19 pandemic brings a new reality to nursing students who carry out clinical practice to be more professional. This condition triggers increased cases of anxiety and depression in nursing students. This study aims to determine the anxiety, depression, and sleep quality of nursing students undergoing clinical practice during the COVID-19 pandemic. The population in this study was 1320 nursing students. This study used a cross-sectional approach to 377 nursing students. Research respondents were taken using a purposive sampling technique. A generalized Anxiety Disorder 7‐item scale (GAD-7) was used to collect anxiety data. Depression was measured using the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9). Sleep quality was measured using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Based on the Spearman rank correlation test results, there is a correlation between sleep quality scores and depression scores with p = 0.000 (p < 0.01) and r = 0.528. There is a correlation between anxiety scores and sleep quality scores with p = 0.000 (p < 0.01) and r = 0.448. There is a correlation between anxiety scores and depression scores with p = 0.000 (p < 0.01) and r = 0.829. The quality of student sleep needs to be maintained to help reduce anxiety and depression in students practicing clinically. The role of professional clinical instructors in assisting students is needed to assist students in carrying out clinical practice well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak pendampingan seni tari tradisional sebagai upaya pelestarian budaya dan peningkatan kreativitas siswa di MI Darul Ulum Kota Palangka Raya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode drill yang melibatkan pengulangan secara terus-menerus dengan serius untuk memperkuat asosiasi atau menyempurnakan keterampilan, sehingga menjadi lebih permanen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, terbukti dari peningkatan kemampuan improvisasi dan kepercayaan diri mereka dalam menampilkan tari tradisional. Selain itu, siswa juga menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam seni tari, serta meningkatnya keterampilan sosial melalui kerja sama dalam kelompok. Dukungan dari guru, orang tua, dan komunitas sekolah menjadi faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan program ini. Temuan ini merekomendasikan integrasi seni tari tradisional dalam kurikulum pendidikan untuk memperkuat pelestarian budaya dan pengembangan kreativitas siswa secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of grafting and budding techniques on the growth and success of avocado (Persea americana) plant propagation. Grafting and budding techniques are vegetative methods commonly used in horticultural plant propagation to maintain the genetic quality of the parent plant. The study was conducted using avocado plants with grafting and budding techniques on the rootstock. The parameters observed included the level of success of unification (compatibility rate), shoot growth rate, survival percentage, and growth in stem diameter and plant height during a certain period. The results showed that the grafting technique provided a higher success rate than the budding technique on certain varieties, with a survival percentage reaching 85%. However, the budding technique showed advantages in the parameter of shoot growth rate, especially on varieties with specific or better environmental adaptation. This study shows that choosing the right propagation technique, depending on the characteristics of the variety and environmental conditions, is a key factor in supporting the success of avocado plant propagation. These findings are expected to be a reference for farmers and researchers in optimizing the production of high-quality avocado seedlings.
