Abstract

Debt management: Strategies to minimize financial risk are a set of practices and strategies implemented by an individual or company to effectively manage debt. The goal is to meet payment obligations on time, reduce liquidity and credit risks, and stabilize debt costs by diversifying financing sources and using hedging instruments. The research methodology was conducted using a literature review approach. The results of this study indicate that good cash flow management is a key factor in minimizing liquidity risk, including measures such as aligning debt repayment plans with income sources and maintaining adequate cash reserves. Diversified funding sources have also been shown to be effective in reducing concentration risk and reliance on a single loan type or creditor, while hedging instruments such as interest rate swaps and foreign exchange forwards help stabilize borrowing costs. In addition, the results show that consistent and structured credit assessments can strengthen credit risk control and reduce default risk. Companies that actively assess their own credit and use detailed credit reports are better able to handle credit issues. The use of scenario analysis and stress models in risk profile management also provides important insights to support better decision-making.

Abstract

This study explores the potential of zakat as an alternative fiscal instrument in supporting economic development in Indonesia. Zakat, a mandatory charitable contribution in Islam, has the ability to address poverty, reduce income inequality, and contribute to economic growth. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 80 respondents, including zakat payers, recipients, and administrators, through a Likert-scale survey. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 26 to evaluate the impact of zakat distribution efficiency and utilization on poverty reduction and economic development. The results demonstrate that both zakat distribution efficiency and utilization significantly contribute to poverty reduction and economic development, supporting the hypothesis that zakat can play a crucial role as a fiscal tool. The study's findings suggest that improving zakat management practices and aligning zakat utilization with long-term development goals could enhance its impact on Indonesia's economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the influence of cognitive bias on investment decisions in the Indonesian capital market, with a focus on overconfidence, herd behavior and loss aversion. Using an experimental approach, 100 individual investors participated in an investment simulation to test related hypotheses. Data was collected through questionnaires and observations during the simulation, analyzed using linear regression and ANOVA. The results show that overconfidence increases transaction frequency and risk, herd behavior causes behavior to follow the majority which triggers market volatility, and loss aversion causes investors to hold losing stocks for too long and quickly sell profitable stocks. These findings provide important insights for investment managers and market regulators to design strategies that reduce the negative impact of cognitive biases and improve market stability and performance.

Abstract

Effective pharmacy management is essential in ensuring drug availability in health facilities. This study aims to analyze the pharmaceutical management system in Garut Regency, focusing on aspects of recording, infrastructure, readiness of health workers, and local government policies. The research method used was a qualitative approach with interview and observation techniques in several health facilities. The results showed that many health facilities still use a manual recording system, which risks causing errors and delays in drug procurement. In addition, limited infrastructure and the readiness of health workers in adopting pharmaceutical information systems are the main obstacles in digitizing pharmaceutical management. In terms of policy, the absence of strong regulations and limited budget hamper the optimal implementation of digital systems. Therefore, it is necessary to improve infrastructure, train health workers, and support clearer policies to encourage the digitalization of the pharmaceutical system in Garut Regency.

Understanding the interactions between these factors is critical to improving investment decisions and reducing the risk of financial loss. This research aims to explore the influence of heuristics, emotions and overconfidence on risk taking by retail investors, as well as how these three factors interact with each other in the context of investment decision making. This research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with the PRISMA method to identify, assess and analyze 40 relevant articles. Data were collected from Scopus and Web of Science databases, and analysis was carried out using thematic analysis techniques to identify main patterns and themes. Findings show that heuristics such as anchoring and availability bias, as well as emotions such as fear and greed, significantly influence investment decisions. Overconfidence has also been proven to increase investors' tendency to take higher risks, often without adequate analysis. This research provides important insights into how psychological factors influence retail investment behavior. These findings contribute to the development of behavioral finance theory and offer practical implications for financial service providers in designing more effective strategies to help investors manage their psychological biases.
