Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the test: The Influence Between the Discovery Learning Model and Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic Learning Styles on Students' Interpersonal Intelligence in Social Studies. This experimental research and the subjects in this study were VII grade students of public schools in the city of Surabaya consisting of two classes, namely the Experimental class and the control class. The hypothesis of this study was tested using the ANOVA statistical test. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing and discussion, it can be concluded: There is a difference in the influence of the use of the Discovery Learning Model and the lecture method on Interpersonal Intelligence, There is a difference in the influence of different Learning Styles on Interpersonal Intelligence in Social Studies Class subjects, students with a tendency to use the Discovery Learning Model are visual and audio learning styles, while students with a tendency to use the lecture method are audio learning styles, and There is an interaction effect between the Discovery Learning Model and different Learning Styles on Interpersonal Intelligence, in this case different Learning styles as moderator variables strongly support a strong relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The effect of using the Discovery Learning Model with different Learning Styles can improve students' Interpersonal Intelligence Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil pengujian: Pengaruh Antara Model Discovery Learning dan Gaya Belajar visual, auditori dan kinestetik Terhadap Kecerdasan Interpersonal Siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS. Penelitian yang bersifat eksperimen dan Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VII sekolah negeri di kota Surabaya yang terdiri dua kelas yaitu kelas Eksprimen dan kelas kontrol. Hipotesis penelitian ini diuji menggunakan uji statistika ANOVA. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dan pembahasan maka dapat disimpulkan Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh penggunaan Model Discovery Learning dan metode ceramah terhadap Kecerdasan Interpersonal, Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh Gaya Belajar yang berbeda terhadap Kecerdasan Interpersonal pada mata pelajaran IPS Kelas, siswa dengan memiliki kecenderungan gaya belajar yang menggunakan Model Discovery Learning yaitu gaya belajar visual dan audio, sedangkan siswa dengan memiliki kecenderungan gaya belajar yang menggunakan metode ceramah adalah gaya belajar audio, dan Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara Model Discovery Learning dan Gaya Belajar yang berbeda terhadap Kecerdasan Interpersonal, dalam hal ini gaya Belajar yang berbeda sebagai variabel moderator sangat mendukung hubungan yang kuat antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikatnya. Abstract

The "Web-Based Learning Media Development Training" organized by the MGMP of Economics and Chemistry in Sampang Regency aims to enhance teachers' competence in utilizing web technology for interactive learning. This training supports the improvement of digital learning quality in the Society 5.0 era through innovative and effective learning media design. The training follows the PAR approach, using media such as laptops, LCD projectors, and mobile phones. Results show that Google Sites development enriches content, Hypercontent boosts interactivity, and PowerPoint creates dynamic learning experiences. The training achieved an average score of 87.8, indicating successful implementation. Participant satisfaction was recorded at 4.6, showing very high satisfaction. In conclusion, the training was successful and effectively improved teachers' competence in using information technology to enhance teaching quality and student learning outcomes

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide Hypercontent Development Training for Rich and Renewable Learning Resources. at SMA Negeri 1 Driyorejo, Gresik as a good researcher for teachers. Specifically, this activity aims to Bind Interaction in Learning at SMA Negeri 1 Driyorejo, Gresik smoothly and in accordance with the even semester period of the 2023-2024 academic year. The methods used in this PPM activity include lectures or counseling containing the delivery of information for general and theoretical materials, in this case the material (1) Application of Hypercontent Development Training for Rich and Renewable Learning Resources, (2) Excavation Hypercontent Development Training for Rich and Renewable Learning Resources. The PPM activities that have been implemented have run smoothly in accordance with the expected goals of this program, and have obtained good results. The lecturers who presented received knowledge sharing on how to practice Hypercontent Development Training for Rich and Renewable Learning Resources at SMA Negeri 1 Driyorejo, Gresik. The high school teachers received additional knowledge about Hypercontent Development Training for Learning Resources. The Hypercontent Development Training Program for Learning Resources in addition to receiving positive responses from teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Driyorejo, Gresik, also received responses from supervisors in the Driyorejo District Education Office Branch, Gresik Regency. The training participants hope that the Hypercontent Development Training for Learning Resources can be continued in the future considering the benefits of this program. Furthermore, the institutional cooperation that has been well established between UNIPA Postgraduate School, especially the Department of Educational Technology with the Driyorejo District Education Office Branch, Gresik Regency is expected to continue in the future as part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

Abstract

 Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi strategi komunikasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SDN 1 Syamsyuddin Noor dalam mendorong keterlibatan aktif orangtua terhadap prestasi non akademik siswa, implementasi dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penghambat serta solusi yang ditawarkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SDN 1 Syamsyuddin Noor yaitu dengan: komunikasi yang bersifat terbuka, menerima saran/ masukan, menyisipkan pesan dan motivasi kepada orangtua untuk mendukung prestasi non akademik siswa. Sedangkan, implementasi strategi komunikasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SDN 1 Syamsyuddin Noor yaitu dengan: menyelenggarakan pertemuan sekolah dan orangtua, memfasilitasi komunikasi via virtual/ online, membentuk komite sekolah dan orangtua dan mengadakan acara ataupun pameran hasil karya siswa. Adapun, solusi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah apabila terdapat tantangan dan hambatan yaitu:  membangun komunikasi, mendorong orangtua memberikan masukan yang bersifat membangun, mengapresiasi dan memberikan penghargaan atas dukungan dan keterlibatan orangtua.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Google Sites learning media for Social Studies Class VIII on the material of Ocean Exploration, Colonialism, and Imperialism in Indonesia that is suitable for use in learning. The product is a web. The development model used is ADDIE which consist of five interrelated stages, namely Analyze. Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The instruments used in data collection are questionnaires, namely closed questionnaires and open questionnaires. Data alaysis techniques use qualittive descriptive analysis techniques and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. This research was conducted at a public junior high school in Surabaya with 100 students as participants. Media, material and design experts as validators in order to validate the web. The results obtained are that the Google Sites learning media for Social Studies Class VIII on the material Ocean Exploration, Colonialism, and Imperialism in Indonesia is suitable for use for learning. Positive responses from learners in individual trials, small groups, and large groups. Abstrak Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran google sites mata pelajaran IPS Kelas VIII pada materi Penjelajahan Samudera, Kolonialisme, dan Imperialisme di Indonesia yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Produk berupa web. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap yang saling berkaitan yakni Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data berupa angket yakni angket tertutup dan angket terbuka. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitaif dan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMP Negeri di Surabaya sejumlah 100 siswa sebagai responden. Ahli media, materi dan desain sebagai validator dalam memvalidasi web. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah media pembelajaran google sites Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas VIII pada materi Penjelajahan Samudera, Kolonialisme, dan Imperialisme di Indonesia layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran. Tanggapan positif dari pebelajar baik uji coba perorangan, kelompok kecil, maupun besar.

Abstract

For countless junior high school students, the world of mathematics remains a daunting labyrinth, with many struggling to navigate its complex pathways· This research aims to develop, validate, and implement an Interactive Mathematics e-Textbook designed to enhance student engagement in mathematics learning, with a specific focus on number operations for seventh-grade students· The e-textbook is built upon the innovative WISE Habits Model, which incorporates four key stages: Wondering, Investigating, Synthesizing, and Expressing· These stages are strategically integrated to create an interactive and engaging inquiry-based learning experience that promotes active participation and deep understanding of mathematical concepts· The study employs a comprehensive Research and Development methodology, utilizing the ADDIE model to systematically develop and refine the e-textbook· The validation of the e-textbook involves a panel of highly qualified experts in mathematics, instructional design, and educational media to rigorously assess the e-textbook's content accuracy, pedagogical effectiveness, and technical quality, providing valuable feedback for refinement· The results of this study indicate that the developed interactive mathematics e-textbook is a highly valid and effective instructional tool to enhance student engagement in learning. Abstrak Pelajaran matematika masih dipandang sebagai suatu labirin yang menakutkan sehingga menjadi momok bagi banyak siswa SMP· Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, memvalidasi, dan mengimplementasikan e-Textbook Matematika Interaktif yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika, dengan fokus khusus pada operasi bilangan untuk siswa kelas VII· E-Textbook ini dirancang berdasarkan Model WISE Habits yang inovatif, dengan empat tahap utama: Wondering, Investigating, Synthesizing, dan Expressing· Tahapan-tahapan ini secara strategis diintegrasikan untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar berbasis inkuiri yang interaktif dan menarik, yang mendorong partisipasi aktif dan pemahaman mendalam konsep matematika· Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi Penelitian dan Pengembangan yang komprehensif, memanfaatkan model ADDIE untuk secara sistematis mengembangkan dan menyempurnakan e-Textbook· Validasi e-Textbook melibatkan panel ahli yang berkualitas tinggi dalam bidang matematika, desain pembelajaran, dan media pendidikan untuk menilai akurasi konten, efektivitas pedagogis, dan kualitas teknis e-Textbook· Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa e-Textbook matematika interaktif yang dikembangkan merupakan alat pembelajaran yang valid dan efektif, dan dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam belajar.

Abstract

Pembelajaran digital meningkatkan pemahaman melalui media seperti video dan simulasi, memungkinkan umpan balik real-time. Namun, tantangan termasuk kesenjangan digital dan kebutuhan pelatihan teknologi untuk pengajar dan siswa. Kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan kolaboratif dan partisipatif. Dimulai dengan asesmen kebutuhan, pelatihan guru, workshop untuk siswa dan orang tua, serta evaluasi rutin. Hasil evaluasi pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan melalui diskusi interaktif, di mana peserta berbagi pengalaman dan tantangan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan 85% peserta mengakui peningkatan kualitas pendidikan melalui teknologi, dan 88% menganggap integrasi teknologi dalam kurikulum penting. Namun, hanya 55% yang siap mengintegrasikannya. Selain itu, 92% peserta merasakan manfaat pembelajaran lintas negara melalui platform digital dalam memperluas wawasan dan meningkatkan kolaborasi internasional

Abstract

The purpose of the seminar is to provide participants with knowledge about the role of parental guidance in shaping the character of 4.0 in children. The implementation method is face-to-face with a duration of 3.5 hours. The equipment used is an LCD projector, laptop, manual, sound system, table, and chairs. Service flow: forming a committee; designing guidebooks, banners, and flyers; making invitations; implementation of seminars and evaluation of seminars. The results of the dedication: the seminar was successful with the following agenda: first the opening by the head of the study program; second, giving material I about character education, character 4.0 in children and the role of parents; third, the provision of material on approaches and guidance techniques; fourth discussion and fifth group photo. Conclusion: the seminar went according to the agenda. Suggestion: the seminar committee provides mini-assignments for seminar participants.

Abstract

Critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills are essential requirements in 21st-century education. Learning activities that integrate the habits of Wondering, Investigating, Synthesizing, and Expressing (WISE) are believed to enhance these skills among higher education students. However, the application of these habits in the learning context in Indonesia remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to develop a WISE-based learning product and evaluate its effectiveness. This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of a product that integrates WISE habits into learning to enhance students' critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of the study included 50 students from the PGSD and Physical Education programs at Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. Data were collected through expert evaluations of design, content, media, and instruments, as well as product trials on small, limited, and large groups. Data analysis utilized both quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results indicate that the WISE-based learning product received excellent evaluations from design, content, and media experts, as well as positive responses from students in all trial groups. WISE activities were proven effective in improving students' critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. In conclusion, the WISE-based learning product is deemed feasible for use and offers specific advantages, such as high visual appeal and strong relevance to real-world contexts. The application of this product can enhance students' skills in alignment with the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Infectious diseases are still a health problem for the public, one of the infectious diseases that is still the biggest problem and occurs almost all over the world is diarrhea. Among bacterial pathogens, Escherichia coli is one of the most common causes of diarrhea. Antibiotics may be used in patients with symptoms and signs of infectious diarrhea. The use of antibiotics that are not prescribed by a doctor and not according to the dose recommended by the doctor will cause antibiotic resistance. Moringa leaves and star fruit leaves have the potential to be an alternative therapy because of the secondary metabolite compounds they contain. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity of a combination of moringa and star fruit leaf extracts against Escherichia coli bacteria. This study used the Kirby Bauer wells method. The design used in this study is a complete randomized design. There are 3 treatment groups of a combination of moringa leaf extract and star fruit leaves with a ratio of 1:1, 1:2, and 2:1. There are 2 control groups, positive control with Ampicillin antibiotics and negative control with sterile aquadest. The results showed the average diameter of the inhibition zone formed by the combination of moringa and star fruit leaf extracts against Escherichia coli was group 1 (1:1) 0.7 mm, group 2 (1:2) 7.6 mm, and group 3 (2:1) 5 mm. The combination of ethanol extracts of moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera L) and star fruit leaves (Averrhoa bilimbi L) has antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli bacteria with the interpretation of the diameter of the inhibition zone according to CLSI, (2024) from each treatment group 1, 2, 3, and negative control included in the resistant category and positive control included in the intermediate category. The combination of ethanol extract of moringa leaves and starfruit leaves cannot produce an inhibition zone diameter that is sensitive to Escherichia coli bacteria. Keywords: Antibacterial, Extract, Moringa Leaf, Star Fruit Leaf, Escherichia Coli.  ABSTRAK Penyakit infeksi masih menjadi masalah kesehatan bagi masyarakat, salah satu penyakit infeksi yang masih menjadi masalah terbesar dan terjadi hampir di seluruh dunia adalah diare. Di antara pathogen bakteri, Escherichia coliadalah salah satu penyebab diare yang paling umum. Antibiotik dapat digunakan pada pasien dengan gejala dan tanda diare infeksi. Penggunaan antibiotik yang tidak dengan resep dokter dan tidak sesuai dosis yang disarankan oleh dokter akan menyebabkan resistensi antibiotik. Daun kelor dan daun belimbing wuluh berpotensi menjadi alternatif terapi karena kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder yang dikandungnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri kombinasi ekstrak daun kelor dan daun belimbing wuluh terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sumuran Kirby Bauer. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap. Terdapat 3 kelompok perlakuan kombinasi ekstrak daun kelor dan daun belimbing wuluh dengan perbandingan 1:1, 1:2, dan 2:1. Serta terdapat 2 kelompok kontrol yaitu, kontrol positif dengan antibiotik Ampicillin dan kontrol negatif menggunakan aquadest steril. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata diameter zona hambat yang dibentuk oleh kombinasi ekstrak daun kelor dan daun belimbing wuluh terhadap Escherichia coli adalah kelompok 1 (1:1) 0,7 mm, kelompok 2 (1:2) 7,6 mm, dan kelompok 3 (2:1) 5 mm. Kombinasi ekstrak etanol daun kelor (Moringa oleifera L) dan daun belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L) memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli dengan interpretasi diameter zona hambat menurut CLSI, (2024) dari setiap kelompok perlakuan 1, 2, 3, dan kontrol negatif termasuk dalam kategori resisten serta kontrol positif termasuk dalam kategori intermediet. Kombinasi ekstrak etanol daun kelor dan daun belimbing wuluh tidak dapat menghasilkan diameter zona hambat yang sensitif terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli. Kata Kunci: Antibakteri, Ekstrak, Daun Kelor, Daun Belimbing Wuluh, Escherichia Coli.
