Abstract

In the digital era, schools must continue improving teacher skills in dealing with technological developments. Google Sites training is one solution to develop teachers' abilities in utilizing and deepening their understanding of technology as a modern learning medium. This service aims to increase the use of Google Sites as an educational tool and create a deeper understanding of technology's potential and benefits in modern education. The service method of the training was carried out through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach by emphasizing the active role of participants during the training. The results of teacher service can be implemented through Google Sites as a modern and adaptive learning medium. This platform can allow teachers to create interesting teaching materials with various features, such as the use of images and flexibility in creating content anytime and anywhere. The conclusion of this training improves the quality of learning in the classroom and helps teachers prepare students to face challenges in the digital era. Overall, this training went well and positively impacted teachers' abilities to create up-to-date and effective learning media by the demands of the times.

Abstract

Pada saat ini di MA Al Ihsan Tanah Grogot dari ke tujuh fungsi kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah yaitu edukator, manajer, administrator, supervisor, leader, inovator dan motivator, masih terdapat dua fungsi yang dalam proses pelaksanannya dianggap kurang maksimal yaitu fungsi manajer dan motivator. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah seluruh tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan yang ada pada Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Al Ihsan Tanah Grogot yang berjumlah 31 orang. Sampel yang diambil yaitu sebanyak 31 orang pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,884 yang berarti hubungan antara variabel fungsi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X) dengan kinerja pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan adalah sangat kuat karena berada pada 0,80-1,000. Hasil uji F menunjukkan nilai Fhitung > Ftabel atau 11,784 > 2,44 artinya variabel fungsi kepemimpinan Kepala sekolah berpengaruh bersama-sama atau simultan terhadap kinerja pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Variabel dominan adalah kepala sekolah sebagai edukator (X1) karena memiliki thitung tertinggi yaitu 2,875 dengan nilai signifikan terkecil yaitu 0,009 dibandingkan thitung variabel lainnya Sebaiknya fungsi kepemimpinan Kepala sekolah sebagai manajer perlu terus diperbaiki sehingga ke depannya lebih bisa mengatur semua unsur di dalam sekolah demi tercapainya tujuan.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the leadership of school principals in fostering motivation among educators in the Nur Masithah Sampang Playgroup. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, utilizing data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The findings indicate that school principals motivate teachers through meetings to enhance self-confidence and positive attitudes towards young children. They also empower teachers by organizing competitions to develop children's motor skills, exemplifying discipline, and providing training. Fair treatment and encouragement to work with enthusiasm are highlighted as effective leadership strategies. Supporting factors include quality human resources, good teacher performance, and a supportive environment. Meanwhile, diverse personal characteristics, an unsupportive environment, and a lack of learning facilities are inhibiting factors in leadership efforts.

Abstract

School culture is one of the factors influencing school management systems in efforts to improve teacher performance. The research aims to determine and explain school culture in fostering teacher development. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and document studies. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources, techniques, and prolonged observation. The results of the study indicate: (1) school culture: motivating teachers to work, disciplining teachers through the socialization of school rules and checking teacher attendance, conducting regular meetings among teachers, and building positive communication between the school principal and teachers and among teachers. (2) impacts: improved teacher performance and smooth management of learning activities. Conclusion: school culture has been implemented effectively and systematically. Research implications: serving as input and learning materials for other schools in teacher development.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to explain and describe the strategies used by schools in managing conflict at Banua Jingah 1 State Elementary School. The research method is qualitative through a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data processing by collecting data, dividing data by groups, research ideas and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show: conflict occurs due to misunderstandings in the communication process originating from the school principal and also the school community due to differences of opinion or gaps between school members. Conflict resolution strategies, firstly a collaborative strategy involving all school human resources to work together to resolve the conflict. The second accommodation strategy involves combining various opinions about solving problems that are suitable for school conflicts. The third strategy is to compromise by resolving problems through a middle way (not taking sides) in resolving conflicts at school.

Abstract

SMKN 2 Kepenuhan merupakan salah satu bentuk pendidikan formal yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan kejuruan pada jenjang sekolah menengah sebagai lanjutan dari SMP/ MTS atau sederajat. SMKN 2 Kepenuhan terdapat beberapa jurusan atau program keahlian yang harus dipilih oleh siswa yang menjadi calon siswa baru. Sering kita jumpai siswa SMK yang merasa tidak cocok dengan jurusan yang dipilih ketika mendaftar, sehingga siswa banyak yang mengeluh. Bahkan ada yang ingin berhenti karena jurusan yang dipilih tidak sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Sesuai dengan judul yang penulis buat yaitu “Sistem Aplikasi Pemilihan Jurusan Pada Calon Siswa Baru Di SMKN 2 Kepenuhan Berbasis Web”. Maka penulis mengusulkan sistem yang biasa membantu pemilihan jurusan. Adapun kriteria yang digunakan adalah nilai raport IPA, IPS, Matematika, B. Indonesia, B. Ingris, Kesenian, Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. Hasil akhir dari program ini adalah jika di input nilai raport maka otomatis akan muncul hasil penjurusan siswa tersebut.

Abstract

The aim of mentoring scientific articles is to improve the structure and content of articles owned by lecturers or students. The implementation method is face to face for 5 hours using laptop equipment, LCD projector, sound system, materials. Implementation results: the first material regarding the title is written in a maximum of 15 words, the abstract is written briefly and the keywords are written in a maximum of 5 words or phrases. The second material regarding the introduction must explain the specific research objectives and research methods that meet a minimum of 4 qualitative elements and 6 quantitative elements. The third material concerns the results and discussion which must be prepared based on the subject matter and conclusions which must be prepared without repeating the research results. The fourth material is about citations and bibliography which must be prepared by memorizing a form of citation. The overall conclusion was that the implementation of the service was successful and had a positive impact, namely that participants better understood how to write good articles according to national accreditation journal standards.

Abstract

In today’s digital era, enhancing teachers’ capacity to develop technology-based learning media is essential, as it directly impacts student engagement and learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the effect of coaching on high school teachers’ abilities to create technology-driven instructional materials. Using a one-group pretest-posttest design, data was collected from teachers who had completed training in educational media development. The sample, selected via purposive sampling, included high school educators in Surabaya, with data gathered through tests and observations assessing media quality and coaching effectiveness. Findings reveal a significant relationship between coaching quality and teachers' media development, with interactive presentations, mobile apps, and instructional videos being the most commonly created resources. The study identifies limited infrastructure and technical support as challenges to implementation. Novel insights from this research highlight the need for ongoing technical support and accessible resources to sustain media integration in classrooms. This study contributes to educational practices by providing evidence of effective coaching strategies and underscoring the importance of comprehensive support in fostering sustainable technology adoption among educators.

Abstract

Sasirangan sudah sangat umum dikenal dikalangan masyarakat Kalimantan Selatan dan telah lekat dalam kehidupan keseharian masyarakat, karena sasirangan digunakan sebagai seragam baik pemerintahan, swasta, lembaga pendidikan hingga digunakan dalam momen spesial seperti undangan atau rapat pertemuan dan lain sebagainya. Sebagai warisan dan kearifan lokal budaya maka sasirangan dijaga dan dilestarikan masyarakat dengan beragam motif dan warna. Pewarna alami perlu dan sangat baik digunakan untuk kain sasirangan karena bersumber dari tumbuh – tumbuhan yang tidak menghasilkan limbah atau zat pencemar sehingga ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan sebagai bentuk upaya melestarikan kearifan lokal dengan memperkenalkan alternatif pewarna alami untuk kain sasirangan yang aman dan ramah lingkungan. Pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan mengikuti metode yang meliputi observasi dan pemberian materi sosialisasi beserta dengan angket respon terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan di desa Sungai Gampa, kecamatan Rantau Badauh. Proses penyampaian materi sosialisasi mencakup uraian sumber pewarna alami kain sasirangan serta komposisi tambahan yang dapat mengatur degradasi dan jenis warna. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan kegiatan telah berlangsung dengan baik dan aktif. Berdasarkan rata-rata persentase angket respon peserta yang mencapai 98,75% disimpulkan bahwa khalayak sasaran dapat menambah dan meningkatkan pemahaman serta pengetahuan akan pewarna alami kain sasirangan yang aman, dan ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe the transactional leadership style and coaching of school principals to shape the collaborative behavior of teachers at SDN 1 Sarigadung, Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan. Qualitative research method through case studies. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data processing techniques using reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity techniques with triangulation of sources and techniques and confirmability. Research results: Teachers' collaborative behavior is demonstrated by their mastery of combining new and old material, forming student study groups, being a place for students to vent and demonstrate teaching material in front of the class. Transactional leadership to form collaborative behavior by providing motivation and giving rewards to teacher performance. The coaching provided includes class visits, personal meetings, teacher meetings, inter-school visits and work group meetings
