The use of the internet at the Cersa Pasaman Vocational High School (SMK) is still not optimal, the internet is only used for school information and there is no school financial information system. Based on observations, tuition payments at schools are still manual and make the work of the finance department slower. This type of research is research and development data retrieval is carried out to users of the web-based SPP payment information system. The research sample consisted of 30 people consisting of 5 people for a limited trial and 25 people for a wider trial taken from the principal, Administration Officer, teachers and students of SMK Cersa Pasaman, the instrument of this research was a questionnaire to determine the feasibility of the SPP payment information system. The results obtained from this research development is a web-based tuition payment information system. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the developed information system is declared valid with an average value of 85.67%. The information system developed was very practical from the results of the limited trial to teachers and students with an average value of 92.60%, while the results of a wider trial obtained an average value of 92.68%. Based on the findings of this study, it was concluded that the web-based SPP payment information system at SMK Cersa Pasaman was valid, practical and feasible to use for student tuition payments.

Pendidikan adalah proses yang melibatkan akuisisi pengetahuan, keterampilan, nilai-nilai, dan pemahaman. Peningkatan kualitas pengajaran adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam konteks pendidikan. Kualitas pengajaran yang baik berdampak positif pada prestasi siswa, pengembangan kemampuan, dan pengalaman belajar secara keseluruhan. Media pembelajaran ialah berbagai alat, sarana, atau teknik yang dipakai pada pembelajaran dalam menunjang siswa memahami dan menguasai materi pelajaran. Fasilitas sekolah seperti: mesin pengelasan menjadi salah satu sarana pembelajaran yang memuaskan. Namun hasil pembelajaran yang diperoleh siswa memakai media konvensional menurunkan motivasi belajar merekan. Tujuan pada penelitian ini ialah meningkatkan hasil belajat dengan penerapan media virtual MIG. Metode penelitian memakau quasi experimental pre-test dan post-test design. Subjek pada research sebanyak 54 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok eksperimen dengan memberikan perlakuan media virtual MIG dan kelompok kontrol yang menerapakan media konvensional. Penelitian berlangsung pada SMK Negeri 1 Mandau. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes soal untuk penguasaan kognitif. Analisis data awal dipakai pengujian normalitas dan homogenitas data. Analisis akhir memakai hipotesis uji-t dan uji N-gain terstandar. Memperlihatkan hasil nilai prestasi yang tinggi pada experimental class dibandingkan control class. Diperoleh kesimpulan dari pemakaian media virtual reality dalam pembelajaran pengelasan menjadi lebih baik dibandingkan media tradisional hingga mengembangkan pola berpikir kritis dan minat belajar siswa.

Analisis kecepatan merupakan konsep dasar dalam mempelajari gerak mesin dalam kuliah Kinematika. Metode yang sering digunakan untuk menganalisis kecepatan adalah cara grafis yang dielaskan dengan cara konvensional, dengan langkah penyelesaian kompleks dan memakan banyak waktu akan membuat siswa sulit memahami. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan program komputer untuk penyajian konsep kecepatan pada mekanisme engkol peluncur menggunakan bahasa MATLAB. Pengguna dapat menginput dan merubah ulang parameter input seperti sudut batang penghubung, kecepatan sudut dan arah kecepatan sudutnya. Proses analisis kecepatan akan ditampilkan sesuai langkah analisis kecepatan grafis berdasarkan parmeter input. Program komputer ini telah divalidasi dengan perhitungan teoritis manual. Untuk kedepannya, program komputer akan dikembangkan dengan penggunaan GUI (Graphical User Interface) agar lebih ramah pengguna dan juga digunakan untuk analisis mekanisme dalam Kinematika lainnya.

A clinker cooler is a very important piece of equipment in the cement industry because it functions to cool the slag or clinker that comes out of the kiln. In the cement industry, the processed clinker is first heated in a rotary kiln at °C and then lowered to temperature again. Next, the crossbar hammer crusher driven by the drive plate crushes the clinker. Clinker is transferred from the cooler inlet to the cooler outlet by this device. The performance of the main clinker cooler due to small errors can cause the kiln to stop working or disrupt other operations, such as in the mile finish area. In certain cases, cement production was disrupted due to a break in the crossbar component in the clinker cooler using the tested software Ansys Workbench 2020. It is hoped that the data from this simulation can be used as a benchmark between the results of the simulation, it can be used as a benchmark between the results of the best modified design for increasing crossbar durability through statistical loading tests with the FEA method.

The accuracy of mesh use determines the suitability of simulation results with experimental test results, therefore it is necessary to study the type and number of mesh used for flow simulation. This study aims to investigate the type of mesh and the number of cells that are appropriately used in the simulation of centrifugal fans using the Solidworks Flow Simulation module. The research was conducted by comparing the simulation results with the experimental results on centrifugal fans that have been carried out by previous studies. In this research, the type of mesh used is global mesh. The parameter of determining the number of cells is done by varying the mesh level because the mesh level affects the number of cells. In this simulation study, the boundary condition is set to one flow volume of 5 m3/h and a rotation speed of 92.362 rad/s. In this study, the total pressure and efficiency of the centrifugal fan are the things that are seen from the comparison of flow simulation with the experiment. Based on the simulation results that have been carried out, mesh levels 1 to 4 show results that differ significantly from the experimental results. At machine levels 5 to 7, the results are close to the experimental results, but the closest total pressure and efficiency values are at mesh level 5. The results of this study can be a reference for research that simulates centrifugal fans.

The frame is an important part of the motorcycle as it carries the load of the passenger. Therefore, it is necessary to design a frame that can withstand the load and is lightweight. A lighter motorcycle will reduce the power required to ride it. This research aims to redesign the frame of a trail-type ELGO electric motorbike by considering a reduction in frame weight. The research was carried out using finite element analysis. The data from the analysis were checked based on the maximum stress not exceeding the yield strength of the DIN 1.0030 material and the safety factor greater than 1. The results showed that the newly designed frame has a lighter weight, with a maximum stress less than the yield strength of the DIN 1.0030 material and a safety factor value greater than 1. The simulation results also indicate the potential for further research by showing the maximum and minimum stress areas on the frame.

Nowadays, the use of solar energy is incredibly important to be increased since solar energy is renewable energy and also does not cause pollution. To harness solar energy, a solar collector device is needed to convert solar energy into heat energy. This study aimed to analyze the heat transfer in the flat plate solar collector which is used as a source of thermal energy in the water heating process for bathing. A double-glazed solar collector was used to absorb solar thermal energy and then transferred it to a water pipe. The pipe material used copper which has a very high conductivity value with an outer diameter of 15.7 mm. The plate collector used aluminium plates because they have high thermal conductivity. The dimensions of the collector frame were 150 cm long, 80 cm wide and 80 cm high. The collector frame was made of wood and covered with an insulator from coconut fibre with a thickness of 8 cm, with a tilt angle of 15˚. Based on the experimental process, the collector temperature was taken by using a thermocouple in order to heat the water which the inlet temperature in a bucket was 28˚C and the outlet water temperature during the experiment was 40˚C.

This article is the result of field research in three schools in Aceh Besar. This research consists of two related studies. The first focuses on answering the hypothesis about the effect of implementing a teaching factory on student work using the one-group pretest-posttest design method. Students will be given a pretest first to assess the results of their initial work. After that, they are given the teaching factory treatment and then a post-test for the results to be compared to assess whether the treatment has an effect. The second research the author wants to examine in this article is consumer satisfaction with the work. Using the survey method, the data obtained is calculated based on the satisfaction references percentage. The sample in this study consisted of 30 students to evaluate work results using the one-group pretest-posttest design method and 30 consumers to assess the level of consumer satisfaction with student work. Based on the data obtained, the researchers concluded that there was a significant influence on student work results after treatment. The average post-test result increased to a pretest value of 18.66667 with sig. 0.000, which means significant. The result value of the t count is 37.405, greater than the t table of 2.045, which means that the application of teaching factory learning is very effective in improving student work results. Then for the consumer satisfaction results, it was obtained that 30% were very satisfied with the student work, and 70% were satisfied with the student work. With nine people feeling very satisfied and 21 people feeling satisfied, the average result is that consumers are satisfied with students’ work.

Learning in several vocational schools uses Autodesk software which has many features and is also widely used in industry. The change in the use of the 2013 curriculum at SMK N 5 Padang will certainly change the learning concept which originally used the 2013 curriculum to become an independent curriculum. Curriculum changes require teachers to prepare new media or teaching materials in accordance with the established curriculum. The aim to be achieved in the research is to develop a PJBL (Project Based Learning) based learning tool for the Manufacturing Engineering Drawing subject with the hope that this module can be used in schools as a learning medium. This research uses the R&D method with the ADDIE development model. Material expert validation was carried out by 3 experts in the field of production materials. The percentage of presentation aspects is 1.0 and the percentage of content aspects is 0.97. The percentage of validation results for all aspects is 0.98 in the very valid category. Validation of media experts and models was carried out by 3 experts in the media field. The percentage of the visual appearance aspect is 0.96, the physical criteria aspect is 0.93 and the convenience aspect is 1.0. The percentage of media expert validation results from all aspects is 0.96, very valid research category. Language expert validation was carried out by 1 expert in the field, consisting of 8 items. The percentage of language expert validation is 0.87 in the very valid category, so this teaching module is said to be very good for use in the learning process by future researchers.

Shallot (Allium ascalonicum L) is a horticultural commodity classified as a spice vegetable. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics, shallot production in Indonesia in 2021 reached 2.01 million tons. This figure increased by 10.42 percent compared to the 2020 production which reached 189.15 thousand tons. Fried shallots are one of the processed forms of shallots which in the manufacturing process go through the slicing stage. Research on this onion slicing machine has been done a lot. Similar research discusses analyzing the development of a more efficient slicing machine. Things that must be considered in the process of making slicing machine construction are the number of blades, power consumption, time and slice results. The purpose of this research is to be able to analyze variations in the number of blades properly for onion slicing machines and find out their effect on power consumption, slicing time and slice results. This research uses the Experiment research method with the help of Microsoft Excel 2019 software. The results showed that the greater the variation in the number of blades, the lower the power consumption and slicing time and it was found that the level of damage to the sliced results was greater the more the number of blades. The conclusion of this research is that the greater the variation in the number of blades, the lower the power consumption and slicing time. The sharpness and length of the blade affect the results of sliced onions.
