Abstract

Tjokro Pekanbaru Hotel or also called PT. Sukses Anugerah Selaras is a national private company engaged in hospitality services or lodging. Tjokro Pekanbaru Hotel is one of the Grand Tjokro Hotels Indonesia collections which include Grand Tjokro Klaten hotels, Grand Tjokro Yogyakarta, Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru, Grand Tjokro Jakarta, Grand Tjokro Bandung, and Tjokro Style Yogyakarta. Before becoming a hotel, this hotel used to be known as PT. SUKSES ANUGERAH SELARAS. And in November 2013 the Tjokro Pekanbaru hotel was established in collaboration with Kagum Hotels Indonesia. Tjokro Pekanbaru Hotel had once been under the auspices of KAGUM Hotels for 1 year, but in July 2015 the Tjokro Pekanbaru hotel broke away from KAGUM Hotels Indonesia. Tjokro Pekanbaru hotel activities are largely determined by the performance of qualified employees. In this discussion this research examines the importance of the role and application of body hygiene of employees or what is commonly called personal hygiene at housekeeping department employees. While data collection techniques in this study use observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the research that has been done, for the whole of the results of the interview answers said that based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of Personal Hygiene employees of the Housekeeping Department of Tjokro Pekanbaru hotel is not in accordance with the existing standardsKeywords: Personal Hygiene, Housekeeping, Hotels

Abstract

Management of cultural heritage is very important, considering the area of cultural heritage is an asset that must be preserved because of its historical value the history of the past that can not be updated. Medan has a cultural heritage site that China City Site of Medan. In accordance with Local Rule No. 2 of 2012 on the cultural heritage in the city of Medan, management of cultural heritage sites of cultural field is still not optimal. This is caused because the Department of Culture Tourism and still can not delude potential cultural heritage sites owned by managing well in order to remain sustainable existence and can be utilized. The purpose of this study is that the Department of Culture and Tourism of Medan is expected to in the management of cultural heritage in order to remain sustainable .Sehingga future generations can know the past glory ever etched in the city of Medan and can be used also for educational facilities, as well as the history and can impact on the economy which became the object of cultural tourism can increase Genuine Income area.In explaining the management of the heritage city of China Medan using the theory of George Terry concept of supervision. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Data was collected through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature.The results showed that the management of the heritage city of China Medan is still not optimal. Due to supervision by the Department of Culture and tourism in the management of cultural heritage sites of china town is not maximized. So that the cultural heritage sites have less impact to the community.Key Words: Management, cultural heritage site, the department of culture and tourism

Abstract

A Responses result from an observation that is made upon a pacticular object or object and thus leads to a conclusion by each person to respond and object that is viewed, the response is divided in saveral forms such as question, apporal, objection, and opinion. Flowering hill attractions: 1) main facilities, 2) Support facilities, 3) complete facilities. The research is aimed : to know visitors responses to the facility on flowering hill atractions. The study uses qualitative descriptive method. With subiek of visitor research coming up on flower hill attractions. The data collection was by of questionnaires observation and documenting. Technomic data measurement uses the likert scale of data rating and withdrawal conclusion. And research shows that visitors responses to the facilities at the flower hill attractions in the Indragiri Hilir districts include the main facilities, the support facilities and complete facilities on the hill attraction are in good condition.  keyword: primery facilities, support facilities, complete facilities.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the departmental environment of Sociology Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Riau University which aims to know the interest and obstacles of IPA graduates entering the department of Sociology FISIP UR. This research topic discusses the interests, motivation, parents, expected work, and learning environment. The informant consisted of 8 students. This research is descriptive qualitative with in-depth interview. The conclusion; 1) Student interest consists of interest, motivation, parents, expected work, and learning environment. Their perception before applying to college considers the sociology department easier than any other department. Student motivation because of the opportunity to get a job especially in the last few years is often heard CPNS job vacancy, their motivation also want to continue the education of Strata two because in Riau has many universities that have courses for the level of Strata two Fisip. Factor parents of students admitted not forced to major in sociology because it is a graduate of SBMPTN and PBUD / PBM. The work expected by the students is expects to be accepted to work in government institution become civil servant (PNS). From the environmental factors of learning, the students admitted that they believe the learning environment has been accredited. 2) Obstacles faced by students were doesn’t have a foundation of governmental science yet because in their high school majoring in science, in addition to the constraints of the lecture is the difficulty of adapting to the complex college hours.Keyword: Interest, Graduated IPA students, Sociology

Abstract

The importance of vehicles for the modernization era as a means of transportation requires companies to improve their quality to attract public interest and maintain the company's existence in the midst of existing competition. PT Wahana Wirawan Riau Indomobil Nissan Khatib Sulaiman Padang is the only Nissan Datsun branch office in the West Sumatra area that has to work hard to reach people in West Sumatra Province. Sales as the spearhead of the company are expected to increase sales, so they must have a good work ethic in order to have a good impact on sales productivity, this is based on Max Weber's thinking about work ethics. The purpose of this study was to find out how the sales marketing work ethic and sales productivity and see the effect of work ethic on sales productivity. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The results of the study indicate that in general sales marketing already has a high work ethic and most of the sales productivity of sales marketing is in the medium category. The relationship between work ethic and sales productivity is strong with a value of r 0.721. Furthermore, there is a positive and significant influence of work ethic variables on work productivity, this is indicated by the t count value of 4.648 which is greater than t table. The contribution of work ethic to sales productivity is 51.9%, while the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Keywords : Work Ethic, Productivity, Sales Marketing.

Abstract

Response in the world of tourism is the opinion or point of view of visitors and tourists in understanding a tourist destination. This research was conducted at the Comforta Hotel Dumai located at jl. jend. Sudirman no. 58, Dumai- Riau- Indonesia. This study aims to determine the factors and efforts to improve occupancy at the Comforta Dumai hotel. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to process data obtained in the field through interviews, observation and documentation. all information collected and studied so that it becomes a complete unit (Sugiono. 2000). Meanwhile, for the sample in the study there were seven keys information persons. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, the occupancy increasing factors at the Hotel Comforta Dumai are the location factor and the Promotion Factor and efforts to increase the occupancy of the Hotel Comforta Dumai are making advertisements, promoting hotel programs and hotel facilities. Keywords: Factors, Occupancy, Sales marketin.,

Abstract

This research purpose to determine Pacu Jalur as a tourist attraction in Kuantan Singingi district Riau Province. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method to study the issue discussed. The sample in this research is 100 respondents which were taken by using accidental sampling. While data collection techniques in this research using observation, questionnaire, and interview by using a likert scale as a measure to determine the length of the short interval. Based on the research that has been done, Pacu Jalur As a Tourist Attractions in Kuantan Singingi District Riau Province are included in the category of strongly agree, because Pacu Jalur is a rare cultural tradition. Abstract

Hapanasan hot spring tourism object is one of the leading tourist in the Rokan Hulu, the location of Hapanasan hot water is in the village of Rambah Tengah Hulu. An exotic tourist location with a natural atmosphere that is still very pronounced and has hot springs as a volcanic post. This study aims to (1) ind out how the management of Hapanasan hot water tourism objects in the future (2) to find out what are the management constraints in Hapanasan hot water attractions. Management has 4 functions of planning, organization, actuating, controlling. This study used a qualitative method. The data were obtained by colleting field data with a qualitative approach. This research is a descriptive study using the research subject of Hapanasan hot water tourism object management in the village of Rambah Tengah Hulu Rambah subdistrict Rokan Hulu Regency. The data collection technique was done by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis used in this research is data reduction, drawing conclusions and data presentation. The result of this study indicate that this hot spring tourist attraction has management as a health tourism planning process and will build UKM. Regarding organizing, it includes the management of the tourism and culture office of the Rokan Hulu District and Pokdarwis (travel conscious) Regarding the implementation of duties divided by the tourism and culture of to manage, promote, care for and protect the Hapanasan area. Abstract

The purposed of this research to know what are the factors of consumer decision in buying tickets in the PT. Riau Karsa Pelita Pekanbaru and also to know what is the main factor in buying the tickets by consumer PT. Riau Karsa Pelita Pekanbaru.This research used descriptive qualitative method for analyzed the problem. The sample in this research are 100 samples by using accidental sampling. And then the technique for collected the data in this research are using observation, questionnaire and interview. And it is using skala likert to know the the length of intervals.Based on the research, there are four factors consumer in buying it is the factor of the price, product (service), promotion and location. The consumer was agree with the factor the price, location and promotion as a decided factor buying and then the consumer also was really agree the product factor as the main factor in buying tikets in the PT.
