Abstract

 The background of this research is the phenomenon of the Religi tourist attraction of the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center Rokan Hulu specifically related to attractiveness. Specifically this discussion is about what is the pre-eminent attraction in the great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center and the management constraints faced by the great Mosque of Islamic Center. The research method that I use is qualitative, which is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of word sourced from observations, interviews, or secondary data analysis. The author also collects primary data first in the form of document, library data anda other sources. The results of this study are: first, the Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center which can be seen the unique architecture of the buildings, sights and tourist attractions. Activities that can be carried out at attractions are worship, shopping, climbing tower 99, taking pictures, enjoying Rokan Hulu’s special food and enjoying the facilities available. Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center provides Madani Mart which sells Muslim fashion and snacks of Rokan Hulu. But there no souvenirs and handicafts that can be made as mementos. The Great Mosque of Madani Islamic Center has an attraction that attracts tourists from the 99 tower because ists height reaches 99 meters and provides a beatiful view because it can attract tourists to visit and climb tower 99. The two obstacles faced by the manager at the Madani Islamic Great Mosque are the funds, because the lack of government attention to the Madani Islamic Center Great Mosque causes development and development constrainsts. Abstract

 Welcoming guests by the receptionist is one of the services provided as a hotel service for guests for the satisfaction of guests. Friendly guests by the receptionist can give a good or bad impression of the first hotel service and the last impression of hotel services for their guests. This research was conducted at a four-star hotel (****), Niagara Parapat Hotel, in Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study is to find out how reception by reception and guest response to reception by receptionists at the front office of the Niagara Parapat hotel. The research method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method to determine the responses of respondents by interviewing, questionnaire, observation and documentation data collection techniques. Abstract

The this research aims to find out how the Tour Guide Services at Tuan Qadhi Halfway House in Pekanbaru City. This research used qualitative descriptive method to analyze the problem. The sample in this research are 90 samples by using accidental sampling. And then the teqniques to collected data in this research are using observation, questionnaire and interview. And it was using likert scale to know the length of intervals. Hospitality business is marketing in services. Bidangperhotelan effort at present shows the increasingly fierce competition dalamusaha increase occupancy rates were owned by each hotel. Abstract

This research is to know the perception tourism to promotion of Padang Beach West Sumatera Proince. This Study aim: (1) How the perception tourist to promotion of Padang Beach. This research uses quantitative method woth descriptive approach, the research subjects are tourist visitting Padang Beach,Tourism Depatement Of PadangCity. The sample used in this research is 100 people. Data collection is done by observation, questionnaire, documentation. The data analysis used in this study is based on facts found in the field through the results of questionnaires, and with conclusions. Based on the results of research that has been done, the perception of tourist to the promotion of Padang Beach West Sumatera Province influenced by various promotions, such as advertising promotion, public relations promotion, mouth of mouth promotion, sales promotion. The conclusion of the most dominant promotion in the perception tourist to the promotion Padang Beach of West Sumatera Province is the promotion of advertisingand the most dominant indicator is the promotion of public relations in the form of holding events. Abstract

This research purposed to know how to perception junior high school student of the museum sang nila utama province Riau. To know that is a driving factor in the self student to visiting the museum sang nila utama province Riau.This research used qualitative descriptive method to analyze to the problems. The sample is the research are 50 sample by using census sampling. Abstract

Tabuik is a cultural heritage in the form of ritual or ceremony that developed in Parimansince about two centuries ago. This event was held to commemorate the death of Husain(grandson of the Prophet Muhammad) in battle in Karbala and it’s done every 1-10 / 14Muharram by involving stakeholders. The community re-presented some fragmentsaccording to the Pariaman community's interpretation in the form of 7 rituals or ceremonies.The purpose of this research to determine community involvement in management of TabuikTourism Event Pariaman City West Sumatera Province. This research used eventmanagement as the concept. This research is qualitatif research with descriptive. Methodand data sources obtained withinterview, documentation, and literature study, determinationtechnique using purposive informant sampling is subjective determination. Based thisresearch, there is community involvement in management of Tabuik tourism event start fromplanning, involved in organizational structure. Involvement in the implementation especiallyfor every ritual and various products produced by the community. And communityinvolvement in the evaluation of each activity. Factors that influence community involvementin management are internal (ownership, community identity, and solidarity) and external(roles in organization, knowledge and education, economics) factors.Keywords: tourist attraction, event management, community-based tourism

Abstract

Sundanese community was able to maintain Sisingan and Jaipong in Seresan village, Seberida Indragiri Hulu regency. Sisingan and Jaipong as a traditional art are used to entertain the society and also often held in Seresam village. The aim of set up Sisingan and Jaipong is not only as an entertainment but also as tightness of relationship between communities and other Sundanese ethnics. This research used descriptive qualitative method. It is a kind of research that see about situation, interpret and then describe the condition of object phenomena that happened in the society. The data sources were primary and secondary data. The primary data is needed through interview while secondary data is collected from books, internet and other documents that are related. The sample in this research was six participant that are incorporated in Sundanese community in Seresam village, Seberida, Indragiri Hulu regency whose include organizers and members. The sample taking technique used purposive sampling. Based on the result finding sundanese community in maintaining Sisingan Jaipong arts have supplementary and inhibitor factor. The supplementary factor is the availability of facilities, togetherness and solidarity community members and the participation in maintaining Sisingan and Jaipong. While inhibitor factor is the limited budget and the business of some Sundanese community. Sundanese conformity did not differentiate the differentiation between the local community and Sundanese community. There wasn’t disputes and hostility that happened between local community and Sundanese community, Sisingan and Jaipong also became favorites in every level, among old people, teenagers, and also children.Key Words: community, Sundanese, conformity, Sisingan and Jaipong.

Abstract

Instagram is a popuIar sociaI media appIication among people of all ages, including students. Instagram social media has raised important issues related to freedom of expression. Another interesting phenomenon to study regarding Instagram is how its users interact and treat their accounts differently. This study aims to find out how the five students presented themselves on the front stage and back stage from the first account and the second Instagram account using Ervin Goffman's Dramaturgy theory. The author uses qualitative research methods and uses purposive sampling technique. Instrument data are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study can be concIuded that the reason why students use account two is to minimize their followers on the first account so that they use two special followers accounts that are allowed by the account owner.                                                                                                                         Keywords : Self Presentation, Instagram, Two Accounts, Student

Abstract

This research using  descriptive qualitatatife research method, there is a purpose  to find out what potential does the Cinta Island Tourism Object have, the development of the object Cinta Island Tourism, as well as what problems are faced in developing Tourism Objects on Cinta Island, Teluk Jering Village, District Kampar. For this season, an analysis is needed in the development of an appropriate tourist attraction and can be applied to the Cinta Island tour to make it more developed. So it can be concluded that the Cinta Island Tourism Object if well developed turns out have potential as a naturaln tourism object. Well developed turns out to have potential as a natural tourism object which is very interesting to be developed and the participationof the goverment, the private sector and the community is needed in its development, so that increase the number of domestic and foreign and tourists and can promote tourism, especially in the Mine District Kampar Regency. Keyword:Tourism Potential, Tourism Development, Tourist Attraction.
