Abstract

Hospitality is one of the important components that can support the development of the world of tourism. The Hospitality Industry is one of the industries that play an important role in the economic development and the world of tourism in Indonesia. service is any action or desire which may be offered by one party to another, essentially intangible and does not result in any ownership. And a sense of fun given to others who accompanied hospitality and ease in meeting the needs of consumers. This research was conducted in Grand Zuri Kota Dumai.Jl Jend. Sudirman No. 88, Dumai City, Bintan Village, Dumai City District, Dumai City. This hotel is chosen as a place of research because in it has the quality of service that visitors need when visiting this hotel. This study aims to determine the response of visitors to the quality of service at the Grand Hotel Zuri Dumai City. This research uses quantitative descriptive method to process the data obtained in the field through interviews, all the information collected and studied to become a unified whole (Kusuma and Sugono 2000). As for the sample in research sebanyan 100 respondents, data collection techniques used are observations, interviews, questionnaires, using Likert scale as a measuring tool. Abstract

Tanjung Lapin Tourism Object is a tourist attraction located in North Rupat District. The decline in the income of people who sell souvenirs in Tanjung Lapin Tourism Objects has the traders to lose their jobs. This is caused by the souvenirs not have the hallmark of the local area, and making the tourists are not interested to buy. Then the offered souvenirs has no many choices and not have a good quality. This study was conducted to determine the factors that influence the buying interest of souvenirs and constraints faced in increasing the buying interest of souvenirs. Data obtained from interviews with Pokdarwis Chairman, traders and tourists visiting Tanjung Lapin tourist attraction. Then the data obtained were analyzed by using an interactive model consisting of three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Research shows that the souvenirs have no artistic touch, no regional characteristics, no charm, no good quality and relatively expensive price. Abstract

Penelitian ini di lakukan di Desa Sepahat, Kabupaten Bengkalis, Provinsi Riau yang memiliki potensi wisata alam yang indah dengan fanorama laut,café di tepi pantai, jembatan yang menjorok ke laut serta berbgai fasilitas penunjang lainya.meskipun demikian pengelolahan objek wisata pantai sepahat dinilai belum maksimal.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) dalam mengembangkan objek wisata Pantai Sepahat di Desa Sepahat, Kecamatan Bandar Laksamana, Kabupaten Bengkalis, Provinsi Riau. Metode penelitian yang di terap kan adalah deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara menyeluruh, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian membuktikan bahwa metode yang diterapkan BUMDes melibatkan kerja sama aktif antara pemerintah desa, pengurus BUMDes, dan masyarakat lokal melalui Pokdarwis, atau kelompok orang yang sadar wisata serta partisipasi gotong royong. Pemerintah desa berperan dalam dukungan infrastruktur, sementara BUMDes berfokus pada pengelolaan fasilitas dan pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi mencakup perbedaan pendapat masyarakat, rendahnya kesadaran terhadap potensi wisata, serta keterbatasan lahan. Pengembangan wisata membawa dampak positif seperti peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat dan terbukanya lapangan kerja baru. Abstract

This study aims to analyze and understand the development of solidarity in a continuously changing society, especially in the digital era. The unit of analysis in this study is the Dompet Dhuafa platform, a prominent humanitarian organization in Indonesia that focuses primarily on social welfare and community empowerment. The research method employed is a document study using publicly available publications from the Dompet Dhuafa website. This study finds that Dompet Dhuafa is a popular platform for facilitating the fulfillment of religious obligations, particularly for Muslims, such as zakat and infaq. However, this platform is also open to all segments of society. These findings show that Dompet Dhuafa plays an important role in connecting various layers of society through digital donation channels, which make it easier for the public to participate in social activities without the limitations of distance and time. The study also provides recommendations regarding the importance of strengthening data protection and transaction policies during the donation process to prevent cybercrimes by irresponsible parties. Furthermore, the study suggests further research on the contributions of various virtual donation platforms to social welfare across different sectors. This is crucial to strengthen the role of virtual solidarity in empowerment and social welfare and to create a broader impact in advancing collective good.

Abstract

Restoration based on Participatory rural appraisal is applied as the main carrying capacity for the successful restoration of peat ecosystems. This program is implemented through the approach of Rewetting, Revegeation and Revitalization. The research objective analyzes PRA-based restoration efforts and how the move will proceed. The data is obtained through interviews and analyzed qualitatively descriptively. The study found that peat wetting activities were carried out through the construction of canal barriers and supporting infrastructure, while replanting was implemented in line with economic revitalization programs. Not only forest timbers, food crops including pineapples are cultivated as an alternative source of livelihood. Women's groups are encouraged to actively process economic products, namely pineapple dodol and pineapple juice. The program is successful but marketing has not been maximal. Abstract

Persaingan kerja yang ketat di era modernisasi menuntut setiap individu untuk memiliki kemampuan, pengetahuan, dan adaptasi yang cepat. Indonesia, dengan kekayaan sumber daya alam melimpah, memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pengolahan sumber daya, salah satunya melalui industri kecil dan menengah (IKM). IKM, seperti industri batu bata di Kelurahan Sialang Sakti, telah berkontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian lokal dan mampu menyerap banyak tenaga kerja. Industri batu bata di Kelurahan Sialang Sakti telah bertahan lebih dari 25 tahun, dengan ketergantungan pada tenaga kerja manusia sebagai faktor utama penentu produktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh semangat kerja terhadap produktivitas buruh batu bata di Kelurahan Sialang Sakti, mengingat tantangan pekerjaan berat, upah yang bervariasi berdasarkan kuantitas, dan sistem kerja tanpa target atau kontrak. Menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan inferensial, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dari 78 responden buruh batu bata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas buruh memiliki semangat kerja dan produktivitas yang tinggi. Namun, analisis korelasi dengan SPSS versi 25 menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.080 dengan signifikansi 0.488 (p-value > 0.05). Ini mengindikasikan bahwa semangat kerja memiliki pengaruh yang sangat lemah dan tidak signifikan secara statistik terhadap produktivitas buruh batu bata di Kelurahan Sialang Sakti.

Abstract

The use of social networks in the formation of Social Chemistry by Rumah BUMN Pulau Meranti as a Sociopreneur is an innovation that allows optimizing the use of sago potential. This research aims to explore the role of social networks in supporting the success of Rumah BUMN Pulau Meranti in marketing sago products through E-Commerce. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observation and document analysis. The research results show that social networks play an important role in helping Rumah BUMN Pulau Meranti to expand market reach, increase awareness of sago products, and strengthen branding as a Sociopreneur. With good cooperation with various parties, Rumah BUMN Pulau Meranti can optimally utilize the potential of sago so that it has a positive impact on the local community and the surrounding environment. This research provides an important contribution to understanding the importance of the role of social networks in supporting the development of E-Commerce to increase the sustainable use of sago potential.

Abstract

The increase in population and neglect of the elderly in recent years has become a widespread phenomenon in Indonesia, especially in urban areas. This is due to crucial factors, particularly economic factors, which affect the fulfillment of the needs of elderly care and nursing within families that are often below the ideal capacity. This study aims to analyze future constructions, expectation dynamics, and strategies for managing psychosocial pressures faced by the elderly at the Tresna Werdha Khusnul Khotimah Social Service Unit in Pekanbaru. The psychosocial pressures referred to are conditions resulting from complex interactions between psychological factors and a social environment that is new or unfamiliar to them due to their separation from their families and the habits they have been accustomed to outside the nursing home. This study uses a phenomenological qualitative design by conducting interviews with 8 informants and direct observation at the social nursing home. The results of the study reveal that the life experiences of the elderly in the institutional system form two fundamentally different patterns of future construction, which are influenced by the presence or absence of a family support network. Elderly people who do not have family ties tend to form a future construction oriented towards life after death, where death is understood as the final horizon that must be prepared for through the strengthening of spiritual practices and self-development. Conversely, elderly people who still have families maintain a future construction oriented towards social reintegration, characterized by preparation for life after death while hoping to return to the bosom of the family. The implications of this study show that hope helps people adapt and remain strong. Therefore, to improve the functioning of social institutions, the paradigm must shift from uniform care to a meaning-based approach.

Abstract

Suku Akit merupakan salah satu Komunitas Adat Terpencil (KAT) yang ada dan tinggal di kawasan pesisir, Masyarakat Suku Akit yang bermukim di sekitar hutan mangrove Sungai Liong merupakan sekelompok masyarakat yang menggantungkan ekonomi rumah tangganya dari sumber daya mangrove secara turun temurun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana masyarakat Suku Akit dalam pemanfaatan hutan mangrove dan bagaimana bentuk kerja sama masyarakat Suku Akit terhadap hutan mangrove yang berada di Sungai Liong Desa Berancah Kecamatan Bantan Kabupaten Bengkalis. Metode yang digunakan adalah metotode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara mendalam (indepth interview), serta dilengkapi dengan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah cara Suku Akit memanfaatkan hutan yaitu dengan mengambil kayu bakau dan mencari kerang-kerangan sebagai sumber mata pencarian dan pendapatan. Mencari kayu bakau sudah menjadi sumber pendapatan sejak nenek moyang. Kayu bakau yang di hasilkan di gunakan untuk dijadikan arang, cerocok, dan kayu bakar. Sedangkan bentuk kerja sama masyarakat Suku Akit terhadap hutan mangrove masih belum terlihat karena kurangnya kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat Suku Akit dalam menjaga kelestarian dan ekosistem hutan mangrove.
