Abstract

This paper does a study of takhrij al-hadis on the hadith which speaks about the suggestion of wearing white. With a focus on heritage studies, the author traces all the traditions of the Prophet in the al-kutub al-tis’ah (nine main books of hadis). In understanding the hadith, this paper specifically examines ma’ani al-hadis with an ethical approach as well as intertextuality data analysis. Thus, it was found that the recommended traditions of white dress were considered valid and could be used as evidence, because they had fulfilled the requirements and rules of the hadith. As for the understanding of the hadith, besides the white clothes the Prophet strongly recommends that the editorial form is qauly (sayings), this color also contains a more sacred and better ethical value so that it requires those who wear it to behave and have personality according to the values contained in white that - good, clean, and holy.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengungkap bagaimana tindakan preventif atas penyebaran Covid-19 berdasarkan hadis Nabi. metode yang digunakan adalah tematik. Sementara untuk memahami kandungan hadis yang berkaitan, tulisan ini secara spesifik mengkaji ma’āni al-ḥadīth dengan pendekatan interkontekstualitas. Hasil pembahasan secara tematik mengindikasikan bahwa, Islam memberi rambu-rambu tindakan preventif atas segala macam bencana atau penyakit, jauh sebelum Covid-19 muncul. Penjelasan hadis Nabi terkait tindakan preventif atas penyebaran Covid-19 antara lain; memberlakukan berdiam di rumah, social distancing (pembatasan sosial), memperbanyak sedekah, memelihara wudhu, menjaga imunitas tubuh serta memohon pertolongan kepada Allah Swt. Upaya-upaya ini merupakan ikhtiar yang harus dilakukan secara intensif dan kolektif oleh setiap warga, agar penyebaran Covid-19 segera terhentikan

Abstract

In this millennial era, there has been a lot of moral decadence in society, whether it is done by the young or old age. This is the result of the lack of fear of Allah (hasyyatullah). This paper attempts to explore the meanings of khasyyatullah in the Qur’an. The interpretation is based on the Sufi interpretation books by Ibn ‘Arabi, al-Qusyairi, al-Alusi, al-Tustari, Sa'id Hawwa and Hamka. By using the thematic method and the contextual approach, it was concluded that: the meaning of khasyyatullah in the perspective of Sufistic interpretation is the feeling of a servant to God who has high faith so that it requires him to always fear God. The Qur’an specifies the owners of this khashyatullah to the ulama’, those who know the greatness and power of Allah. With the existence of khasyyatullah, a person will always renew repentance, fight lust, doing good deeds, establish social ties, and revive a more prosperous mosque. Therefore, efforts to create a harmonious society to always be taqarrub to God can be achieved through a khasyyatullah attitude.

Abstract

This paper seeks to reveal how the rights of girls as family members as far as the hadith Nabi. In addition to providing a benchmark that Islam has equalized the rights of girls with the rights of boys, also to eradicate the ignorance system which has discriminated against girls by only siding with boys. Because the description of the discussion links a theme in the hadith Nabi, the method used refers to the thematic framework. As for understanding the content of the Hadith Nabi traditions that are related, this paper specifically examines ma’ani al-hadith with an intertextuality approach. Thus, the results of the discussion of thematization of the hadith indicate that: girls have the right to live, get love from parents, get good treatment, get formal education, and also non-formal. Of course, all the rights of girls recorded by the hadith Nabi are also entitled to be obtained by boys.Tulisan ini berusaha mengungkap bagaimana hak-hak anak perempuan sebagai anggota keluarga sejauh yang dipandang hadis Nabi. Selain untuk memberi patokan bahwa Islam telah menyetarakan hak anak perempuan dengan hak anak laki-laki, juga untuk memberantas sistem Jahiliah yang telah mendiskriminasi anak perempuan dengan hanya berpihak kepada anak laki-laki. Karena pembahasannya merujuk pada tema yang termuat dalam hadis Nabi, maka metode yang dipakai adalah tematik. Sementara untuk memahami kandungan hadis Nabi yang berkaitan, tulisan ini spesifik mengkaji secara ma’ani al-hadis dengan pendekatan intertekstualitas. Dengan demikian, hasil pembahasan secara tematisasi hadis mengindikasikan bahwa: anak perempuan memiliki hak untuk hidup, mendapat kasih sayang dari orang tua, mendapat perlakuan baik, mendapatkan pendidikan formal, dan juga pendidikan non-formal. Tentu saja, semua hak anak perempuan yang direkam hadis Nabi ini juga berhak didapatkan oleh anak laki-laki.

Abstract

This paper seeks to review the views of modern scholars towards the authenticity and validity of the Prophet’s traditions. Modern scholars are divided into three parts in addressing the hadith in terms of its authenticity and validity using descriptive analytical methods. First, the scholars who have skeptical assumptions about the authenticity of the traditions of the Prophet, represented by Mah}mud Abu> Rayyah. In his work Ad}wa>’ ‘ala> al-Sunnah al-Muh}ammadiyyah, Abu> Rayyah considers all the traditions to be considered inauthentic until proven authenticity. The two, scholars who have non-skeptical assumptions, are represented by Yu>suf alQard}awi> in his work Kaifa Nata’a>mal ma’a al-Sunnah al-Nabawiyyah. Regarding the validity of the Prophet’s hadith, al-Qard}awi> prefers to act tawaqquf (no comment attitude) when encountering a valid hadith but its meaning is still vague. Third, the scholars who have assumed middle ground. This section is represented by Muh}ammad al-Ghaza>li> in his work al-Sunnah al-Nabawiyyah Baina Ahl al-Fiqh wa Ahl al-H{adi>th, he assumes that even though a hadith has been considered valid in terms of sanad, it is not necessarily valid in terms of death.

Abstract

Sebuah realita memberi indikasi bahwa harta merupakan salah satu sendi kehidupan manusia di dunia sekaligus penegak keutuhan rumah tangga. Tak ayal jika manusia menjadikan harta sebagai dasar asasi bagi segala bentuk pekerjaan untuk mendapatkannya. Arus mengalirnya al-amwa>l, yakni harta yang berupa uang dan barang bisa di dapat dari hasil kerja yang sesuai dengan aturan agama, seperti hasil berdagang, bertani dan berbagai bentuk kerja yang menghasilkan upah dan jasa. Namun ada juga yang tidak sesuai dengan aturan agama, seperti hasil mencuri, menipu, merampok, suap menyuap dan sistem ekonomi riba. Pada intinya, hasil pendapatan manusia dalam memperoleh harta, baik uang maupun barang ada dua macam; yakni halal dan haram (ba>t}il). Dengan demikian, tulisan ini bermaksud menjelaskan harta ba>t}il dalam al-Qur’an, kemudian ditafsirkan dengan berbagai pendapat para mufassir klasik maupun kontemporer guna menghasilkan pemahaman yang signifikan.

Abstract

AbstrakTulisan ini berusaha melakukan eksplorasi terhadap metodologi tafsir tabi’ tabi’in, yakni Tafsir al-Qur’an al-Azim karya Ibnu Abi Hatim al-Razi. Dengan membacanya dari perspektif konstruktivisme dengan analisa data intertekstualitas, penulis dapat mengindentifikasi keberadaan tafsir Ibnu Abi Hatim yang hanya menggunakan tafsir bi al-ma’tsur sebagai sumber penafsiran, yakni berdasarkan pada penjelasan riwayat hadis Nabi, pendapat sahabat, tabi’in, dan kisah-kisah israiliyyat. Sementara upaya dalam menjelaskan al-Qur’an, metode yang diusung Ibnu Abi Hatim adalah metode ijmali, yakni menafsirkan ayat al-Qur’an dengan bahasa yang ringkas, padat, dan tidak panjang lebar. Di samping itu, Ibnu Abi Hatim juga memakai metode muqaran dengan cara mengutip dan membandingkan pendapat sahabat dan tabi’in. Untuk corak tafsirnya, penafsiran Ibnu Abi Hatim tidak sampai pada corak disiplin keilmuan tertentu, hanya sebatas penafsiran letak geografis dan tradisionalis, yakni menafsirkan al-Qur’an dengan cenderung menggunakan riwayat-riwayat dari hadis Nabi, sahabat, dan tabi’in.AbstractThis paper seeks to explore the tabi’ tabi’in interpretation methodology, namely Tafsir al-Qur’an al-Azim by Ibnu Abi Hatim al-Razi. By reading it from a constructivism perspective with an analysis of intertextuality data, the writer can identify the existence of Ibnu Abi Hatim interpretation which only uses the interpretation of bi al-ma’tsur as a source of interpretation, which is based on an explanation of the Prophet’s hadith, the opinions of friends, tabi’in, and the stories of israiliyyat. While the effort in explaining al-Qur’an, the method carried by Ibnu Abi Hatim is the method of ijmali, which is interpreting verses of the Qur'an in a concise, concise, and not lengthy language. In addition, IIbnu Abi Hatim also used the muqaran method by quoting and comparing the opinions of friends and the tabi’in. For his interpretation style, the interpretation of Ibnu Abi Hatim did not reach a certain scientific discipline style, only limited to the interpretation of geographical and traditionalist locations, namely interpreting the al-Qur’an by tending to use narrations from the hadiths of the Prophet, friends, and tabi’in.

Abstract

This article aims to review the historicity of the development of interpretations in the ninth and tenth centuries of the Islamic era. In this century, the activities of interpreting the Qur’an based on historical quotations from friends, tabi’in and also tabi’-tabi’in were almost not enforced, because the interpreters in applying the fruit of their interpretation of the Qur’an used a scientific approach language and scientific reasoning. By using descriptive-analytical methods and pure literature studies with a content analysis approach, this paper concludes that; (1) the source of the interpretation combines the interpretations of bi al-ma’tsur and bi al-ra’yi; (2) how to explain using bayani; (3) the breadth of the explanation of the majority using the ijmali method; (4) the objectives and order of the verses use the tahlili method; and (5) the tendency of the flow in its interpretation to use linguistic aspects, namely lughawi.

Abstract

This paper discusses the epistemology of the bi al-ma’tsur interpretation from the book of Jami’ al-Bayan ‘An Ta’wil Ay al-Qur’an author by al-Tabari. The description covers how the author takes sources, methods, styles, and steps. As an interpretation of bi al-ma’tsur, this interpretation book contributes to a relative different approach from the previous mufassir. Al-Tabari in the interpretation is very dominant in using some histories such as the hadith of the Prophet, companions, and tabi’in, then he select strong opinions in accordance with what he wants. Based on the epistemology basis of bayani in terms of al-Jabiri, this paper will be supplemented with the evidences of the tafsir al-Tabari, how it really is. With descriptive-analytic study, it was found that the epistemology base is a combination of bi al-ma’tsur and bi al-ra’yi which expresses many perspectives before it has been chosen as the truth by al-Tabari. Other than that, the step of interpreting the Qur’an from the beginning to the end in the order of the manuscripts, and its discussion reviewed in detail and length, the book of tafsir al-Tabari is classified that it uses method tahlili.

Abstract

In the discussion forum, of course, there is the variability of arguments from various parties in order to get the objectives to be achieved. There is a discussion that ends sweetly with a good solution, there is also a discussion that ends with a dispute that causes hostility. Therefore, in a discussion, a code of ethics is needed for a conducive and constructive atmosphere of discussion. This paper will introduce how the ethics of discussion summarized in the Koran. By using the thematic method, it was concluded that there were at least seven ethical discussions in the perspective of the Qur'an, namely; sincere and true intentions, pay attention and listen well to the other person, armed with knowledge and strong-accurate argumentation, using clear-straightforward and gentle rhetoric, being fair and objective, being cooperative and being ready to return to the truth, and avoiding a nagging attitude - do not want to budge and want to win alone. With this ethic, it is expected that the hostility raised in the discussion can be avoided and the purpose of the discussion created is to create an atmosphere of intimacy and mutual understanding. Keyword: Discussion, Ethics, Qur'an, Thematic Interpretations
