Abstract

Riau is one province of Indonesia known for its forest and land fires. One of the causes of these tragic land fires is tenure conflicts between corporations and indigenous or local peoples. Tenure conflicts became the main reason forest and land fire cases in Riau Province are convoluted. Thus, the resolution takes a long term to resolve. The local government, as a policymaker, has played a pivotal role in resolving tenurial conflicts. This research analyzes local governments' role in handling tenure conflicts in Riau Province using the structural root causes of conflict, accelerator, trigger (SAT) factor analysis approach, and Human Needs Theory. To analyze the role of the Riau Province government in handling tenurial conflict as an effort to resolve forest and land fires during the pandemic, the researcher uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design presented through data collection from primary and secondary data sources, such as interviews and literature review. This research finds that in handling tenure conflicts, the government of Riau has been facing some challenges in its effort to resolve forest and land fires conflict resolution process.

Abstract

This article discusses the design of the main characters of the webcomic Sadewa Krama: Cinta Sejati published on the LINE Webtoon Kanvas platform. This design aims to increase the awareness of individuals aged 16-24 years old towards wayang culture. Wayang is an Indonesian culture that must be preserved. However, as time goes by, the art of wayang has experienced a process of decline due to development of the era. This is due to the language element of the puppet performance which uses the Regional Language (Javanese) and the performance time is at night. Through descriptive qualitative research methods (interviews, observations, and questionnaires) to collect and analyze data as visual concepts. It was revealed that respondents from the questionnaire tended to prefer staying up late to play gadgets. The phenomenon of the development of this era requires wayang to adapt. Hence, there is a need to transfer of mediums to adapt one medium to another. In accordance with this, the right media to communicate the story is a webcomic that can also be accessed through gadgets. Not stopping there, a story that has relevance to the problems of today's teenagers is needed. Problems that they face, for example, the formation of behavior and the search for compatibility with themselves and the environment. Lakon carangan Sadewa Krama is considered to have relevance to these problems. The character design in the webcomic is realized by adapting wayang kulit characters, combined with wayang wong, then represented in a semi-realist/semi-cartoon drawing style.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi hukum operasional keadaan darurat dalam penanggulangan bencana dengan fokus perlindungan perempuan dan kelompok rentan berdasarkan kerangka Undang-Undang Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi pustaka dan analisis dokumen hukum. Data dikumpulkan dari peraturan perundang-undangan, jurnal akademik, dan laporan resmi pemerintah periode 2019-2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerangka hukum Indonesia telah mengatur perlindungan kelompok rentan dalam UU No. 24 Tahun 2007 tentang Penanggulangan Bencana dan UU No. 23 Tahun 2004 tentang PKDRT, namun implementasinya masih menghadapi kendala koordinasi antar lembaga dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Implikasi penelitian menunjukkan perlunya penguatan mekanisme operasional dan harmonisasi regulasi untuk memastikan perlindungan efektif bagi perempuan dan kelompok rentan dalam situasi darurat bencana.

Abstract

The Kinanthi Macapat Sidoarjo Community is a community or group that focuses on the preservation and development of the art of macapat songs, which is a form of traditional Javanese poetry. In addition, this community also strives to reach the wider community to increasingly recognize and appreciate this macapat cultural heritage. With various efforts made, Kinanthi Macapat Sidoarjo is committed to maintaining and developing this very valuable cultural heritage, so that it remains alive and known to future generations, Kinanthi Macapat Sidoarjo really needs help in creating attractive and effective branding media, one of which is creating a logo for the Kinanthi Macapat Sidoarjo Community itself. In this design, a mixed method methodology will be used in collecting data that will be used, which will use qualitative and quantitative methods. In this design, the qualitative method can be applied through interviews, observations and literature studies. While the quantitative method is used through questionnaires. To obtain in-depth information about how teenagers view macapat songs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas motif batik Madura sebagai metafora visual melalui eksperimen fotografi fashion yang menekankan hubungan antara busana, tubuh model, dan ruang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana filosofi yang terkandung dalam motif batik Madura dapat direpresentasikan secara visual melalui fotografi fashion. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif berbasis penciptaan karya dengan pendekatan eksperimen visual. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pengrajin batik di Desa Paseseh, Tanjung Bumi, serta studi pustaka mengenai filosofi batik, metafora visual, dan fotografi fashion. Proses eksperimen dilakukan melalui eksplorasi styling, pose, komposisi, warna, pencahayaan, serta interaksi antara kain batik dan tubuh model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motif batik Madura mampu merepresentasikan nilai keberanian, keteguhan, spiritualitas, kerinduan, serta identitas budaya. Melalui eksplorasi visual tersebut, fotografi fashion dapat berfungsi sebagai media visual storytelling budaya yang menghubungkan nilai tradisi dengan pendekatan visual kontemporer.

Abstract

Kasus bullying di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, termasuk pada anak usia dini yang rentan secara emosional dan sosial. Berdasarkan data KPAI, SIMFONI-PPA, dan FSGI, perundungan telah menimbulkan dampak psikologis jangka panjang seperti kecemasan, rendah diri, trauma sosial, hingga isolasi diri. Hasil kuesioner yang dilakukan penulis menunjukkan 80,7% responden pernah terlibat dalam insiden bullying, baik sebagai korban maupun pelaku, dengan kasus terbanyak terjadi di usia sekolah dasar. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya edukasi sejak dini serta keterlibatan aktif orang tua dalam mencegah perilaku bullying. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang media kampanye anti-bullying berupa buku cerita anak interaktif sebagai sarana edukasi nilai empati, keberanian berbicara, serta kesadaran sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mencakup studi literatur, pengumpulan data primer melalui kuesioner dan wawancara, analisis 5W+1H, serta pendekatan desain komunikasi visual dalam penyusunan konsep verbal dan visual. Media utama berupa buku cerita anak didukung oleh konten digital melalui media sosial dan kolaborasi dengan NGO Ditemen.in. Perancangan ini diharapkan menjadi sarana efektif bagi orang tua dalam membangun komunikasi, membentuk perilaku positif anak, serta mencegah bullying sejak dini melalui pendekatan edukatif dan visual yang menarik.

Abstract

Konflik Rusia-Ukraina sejak 2022 telah memicu lonjakan penelitian tentang disinformasi sebagai senjata hibrida dalam perang informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan tren penelitian disinformasi dalam konflik tersebut selama periode 2022–2025 melalui analisis bibliometrik. Menggunakan data dari Scopus, sebanyak 565 artikel dianalisis dengan VOSviewer dan Biblioshiny untuk mengidentifikasi tren publikasi, pola kolaborasi penulis/institusi/negara, serta kluster kata kunci. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan publikasi (rerata 73,55% per tahun), dominasi penulis seperti Mykola Makhortykh, institusi seperti Charles University, dan negara seperti Amerika Serikat. Kata kunci dominan meliputi "disinformation", "Russia", dan "Ukraine", dengan empat kluster tematik: perang informasi dan propaganda, konflik dan narasi kognitif, pendekatan teknologi, serta respons masyarakat dan literasi media. Temuan ini menegaskan disinformasi sebagai ancaman strategis keamanan nasional, dengan implikasi untuk penguatan ketahanan informasi. Penelitian mendatang direkomendasikan fokus pada disinformasi visual dan integrasi data real-time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan Customer Path 5A melalui konten Instagram @rumah.brd guna membangun kesadaran audiens terhadap identitas brand Rumah.Brd. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi konten media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konten Instagram Rumah.Brd belum secara konsisten membangun pengenalan identitas brand. Oleh karena itu, dirancang konsep verbal dan visual berbasis suasana homie dan hangat sebagai implementasi setiap tahap. Implementasi ini diharapkan mampu menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Customer Path 5A melalui konten Instagram efektif dalam membangun kesadaran, ketertarikan, hingga mendorong tindakan audiens terhadap brand.

Abstract

Indonesian traditional cloth or Wastra is a cultural heritage that has aesthetic, philosophical value, and represents the nation's identity that has been passed down by generation. However, along with the development of the times, the interest of the younger generation, especially the current generation of teenagers, towards traditional fabrics tends to decline due to the dominant trend of modern clothing which is considered more suitable for today's lifestyle. This condition has the potential to hinder efforts to preserve traditional fabrics in the future. The high level of internet and social media users among teenagers opens up new opportunities to reintroduce traditional fabrics through a more contextual and interesting approach. This research aims to examine the role of social media as a media for promoting traditional fabrics through promotion with an approach to fabric trends as a form of adaptation of local culture into modern dress styles. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with analysis of social media trends, adolescent audience characteristics, and visual communication elements in digital content. The research results are expected to provide an understanding of the effectiveness of social media with a trend approach to attract the interest of teenagers in traditional fabrics.

Abstract

This article reinterprets Cederman et al.’s (2025) model of ethno-national configurations as not only an explanatory framework for civil and interstate wars but also as a diagnostic tool for conflict prevention and peacebuilding. By integrating theories of nationalism, ethnic conflict, and peace and conflict resolution, the paper demonstrates how state–nation incongruence, captured in five configurations United Home Rule, United Alien Rule, Divided Home Rule, Partial Home Rule (irredentism), and Divided Alien Rule generates different types of grievances and security dilemmas. We argue that these structural typologies can serve two distinct functions: (1) ex post analysis of conflicts, explaining why and how wars emerge; and (2) ex ante diagnosis of latent threats, offering early warning for peace practitioners. The paper further develops a Conflict–Peace Framework that links configurations to specific institutional remedies, ranging from power-sharing and autonomy to cross-border governance and international mediation. The contribution is twofold: (a) bridging political science and peace studies by transforming a conflict-centered typology into a peace-oriented architecture, and (b) proposing an analytical map for both scholars and practitioners to anticipate and resolve ethno-national conflicts.
