Abstract

The outpatient registration sector plays a strategic role as the primary gateway to healthcare services at the primary healthcare level. Based on preliminary observations of digital reviews (Google Maps) at Puskesmas Depok I, issues were identified regarding low staff hospitality and inefficiencies in waiting durations. These problems indicate a quality deficit that directly impacts the perception of service user satisfaction. To mitigate these issues, this study applies the Service Quality (SERVQUAL) model as an evaluative instrument, encompassing the dimensions of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The primary objective of this study is to explore the service profile and measure the degree of patient satisfaction as a parameter for formulating quality improvement policies. This study employs a descriptive quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consists of 100 outpatient subjects selected through a probability sampling technique using the Slovin formula. Data collection was conducted via a structured questionnaire adopting the SERVQUAL framework to ensure the validity of the service quality measurement. Data analysis reveals that the reliability dimension provides the highest satisfaction contribution at 72.9%. This is followed by the empathy dimension at 71.3%, assurance at 71.15%, and responsiveness at 70%. Conversely, the tangible dimension recorded the lowest satisfaction level at 63.65%. In general, the quality of registration services is at an adequate level; however, there is an urgent need to revitalize physical facilities and supporting infrastructure to minimize the gap between patient expectations and service reality. ABSTRAK Sektor pendaftaran rawat jalan memegang peranan strategis sebagai pintu utama pelayanan kesehatan di level fasilitas kesehatan tingkat pertama (FKTP). Berdasarkan observasi awal pada ulasan digital (Google Maps) di Puskesmas Depok I, teridentifikasi isu terkait rendahnya hospitalitas petugas serta inefisiensi durasi tunggu. Problematika tersebut mengindikasikan adanya defisit kualitas yang berimplikasi langsung terhadap persepsi kepuasan pengguna layanan. Guna memitigasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini menerapkan model Service Quality (SERVQUAL) sebagai instrumen evaluasi yang mencakup dimensi tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, dan empathy. Tujuan utama kajian ini adalah mengeksplorasi profil layanan serta mengukur derajat kepuasan pasien sebagai parameter dalam formulasi kebijakan perbaikan mutu pelayanan. Studi ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 100 pasien rawat jalan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik probability sampling melalui perhitungan rumus Slovin. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner terstruktur yang mengadopsi kerangka kerja SERVQUAL untuk menjamin validitas pengukuran kualitas jasa. Analisis data mengungkapkan bahwa dimensi reliability memberikan kontribusi kepuasan tertinggi sebesar 72,9%. Selanjutnya, dimensi empathy mencatatkan angka 71,3%, diikuti oleh assurance (71,15%) dan responsiveness (70%). Sebaliknya, dimensi tangible menjadi indikator dengan capaian kepuasan paling rendah, yakni 63,65%. Secara umum, kualitas pelayanan pendaftaran berada pada taraf yang memadai, namun terdapat urgensi untuk melakukan revitalisasi pada aspek sarana fisik dan infrastruktur penunjang guna meminimalisir gap antara harapan pasien dan realitas layanan.

Abstract

This research is apreliminary research that contains efforts to implement the snowball throwing learning model at the elementary level, especially in grade 4. This study also aims to determine student responses to the application of the snowball throwing learning model at the elementary school level. This study used a research design with the "One Shot Case Study" design, namely research conducted by giving certain treatment to research subjects, in this case the snowball throwing learning model. The data obtained were analyzed using research methods for students. In this study the authors used a data collection technique in the form of a questionnaire technique. The questionnaire used in this research is a student learning motivation questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that students' responses to learning using the snowball throwing model received a positive response with a percentage of 88.43%.

Abstract

This research is to know the influence of mathematics learning by using the number train rail on the addition matter and the reduction of the IV class. This type of research is quantitative. The research method used is Nonequavalent Control Group Design. Research instruments were collected using quiz techniques. The research location is SDN Made 1 No.475 Surabaya Jl. Made Raya No. 31-33. The subjects of the study were students of class IV-A and IV-B. The results showed that there was an influence between the experimental group and the control group. There is a difference between the learning that uses the medium of the railway train of numbers with the learning using the number line. From the number of percentage obtained from the analysis of student response data that exceeds the specified standard, it can be said that the use of medium rail train number in class IV gets a positive response.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the average test result score as a reflection of the effectiveness of audio visual media and image media. This is based on learning outcomes that are considered less than optimal and many are still incomplete because teachers are accustomed to the use of image media in learning. The selection of audio-visual media as a way of teaching data presentation material is because it has better features than just ordinary images. This study determined the subject, namely the fifth grade students at one of the private elementary schools in Surabaya which had 34 students. The results of this study presented an average of learning outcomes in a class using audio visual media was 87.68. In another class, the average result of student learning in the class using image media obtained an average result of 79.59. The conclusion from these results is that the class that uses audio-visual media is more effective than the class that uses image media.

Abstract

Student learning motivation in mathematics learning in elementary schools remains a challenge, especially in the material of weight measurement. Less interesting learning can lead to low student engagement and enthusiasm in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Educaplay digital learning media on student learning motivation in the material of weight measurement in class II SDN Pakis V Surabaya. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi- experimental method. The research sample consisted of 60 students, namely 30 students of class II B as the experimental class using Educaplay and 30 students of class II C as the control class using conventional learning. Data were collected through a learning motivation questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using validity tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests using Independent Sample t-tests. The results showed that the average learning motivation score of the experimental class increased from 31.20 to 36.16, while the control class increased from 26.13 to 32.86. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), so H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Thus, the use of Educaplay learning media has a positive and significant effect on increasing students' learning motivation in the mathematics subject of weight measurement material in class II of SDN Pakis V Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of digital monopoly media on the material of plane geometry elements on mathematics learning outcomes of grade III SDN Pakis V Surabaya. this type of research is quantitative research with the method used is experimental. The independent variable in this study is digital monopoly media, while the dependent variable is students’ mathematics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all grade III students with a total of 48 students. The research sample consisted of 24 students as an experimental class using digital monopoly media and 24 students as a control class. Data collection was carried out through tests and documentation. The tests used were pre-test and ppost-test to determine students’ initial abilities and learning outcomes after being given treatment. The result showed that in the control class the pre-test score was 51,4 and the average post-test score was 57,5. Meanwhile, in the experimental class the average pre-test score was 53,1 and the average post-test score was 77,2. These results indicate that the increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class was higher than in the control class. Strengthened by the results of the hypothesisi T-test which shows that the significant value obtained is 0,000 < 0,005, so it can be concluded that learning media has an effect on students’ Mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low science learning outcomes caused by teacher-centered instruction, which limited students' active participation in the learning process. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of the fun learning method on students' science learning outcomes regarding the human sensory organs among fourth-grade students at MI At-Taufiq Surabaya in the 2025/2026 academic year. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of Class IV-A as the experimental group and Class IV-B as the control group, involving a total of 46 students. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation. The research instruments were validated by expert validators and categorized as highly valid. Data analysis was conducted using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and the Independent Samples T-Test with SPSS version 29. The findings indicated that the pre-test and post-test data in both groups were normally distributed. The homogeneity test showed that the pre-test data were homogeneous with a significance value of 0.704, whereas the post-test data were not homogeneous with a significance value of 0.022. Therefore, hypothesis testing was conducted using the Equal Variances Not Assumed row, resulting in a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.003 (<0.05). These findings indicate a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the fun learning method had a significant effect on science learning outcomes regarding the human sensory organs among fourth-grade students at MI At-Taufiq Surabaya.
