Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in production and FCR vannamei shrimp in ponds plastics with widely different. The method used in this study is a survey. The survey was conducted in ponds plastic BUSMETIK SUPM State Tegal, Central Java number 3 pieces pond with an area different from that plot A1 (an area of 1000 m2), plot A2 (area of 800 m2) and plot A3 (area 600 m2) for three (3) maintenance cycle. The production of vannamei shrimp with an area of different A (1000 m2), B (800 m2) and C (600 m2) for 3 cycles of maintenance in the pond BUSMETIK SUPM State Tegal indicate that the harvest vannamei shrimp highest in area ponds A (1000 m2) with average yields 2473.667 kg, followed by the pond area B (800 m2) with yields 1933.667 kg, and the yield was lowest for the vannamei shrimp pond area C (600 m2) with results 1183.667 kg. Results of analysis of variance of the data results of the study (Appendix 4), then the result is that the value of F count (103.112)> F table 5% (5.14) and F table 1% (10.92). FCR value for each area of the pond is still good enough (maximum 1.3). FCR is the smallest value occurs in the pond with an area of 1000 m2, namely (1.2), while in the pond area of 800 m2 and 600 m2 FCR is still quite good value (1,3).Keyword : Vannamei Shrimp, Busmetik, Growth, FCR

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  untuk mengetahui pengaruh persentase pakan buatan dan cacing tanah terhadap pertumbuhan ikan gabus dan mengetahui persentase pakan buatan dan cacing tanah yang menghasilkan pertumbuhan terbaik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Budidaya Perairan, Prodi Budidaya Perairan, Fakultas Perikanan, Universitas Pekalongan di Slamaran, Kota Pekalongan. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan dan sebagai perlakuan adalah perbedaan persentase pakan buatan dan cacing tanah. Perlakuan A  (100% pellet + 0% cacing tanah), B. (75% pellet + 25% cacing tanah), C. (50% pellet + 50% cacing tanah) dan D (25% pellet + 75% cacing tanah). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan persentase pakan buatan dan cacing tanah berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan ikan gabus. Perlakuan D memiliki pertumbuhan terbaik yaitu 4,46 gr, kemudian perlakuan C sebesar 3,77 gr, perlakuan B sebesar 3,43 gr dan terendah perlakuan A sebesar 2,86 gr. Kata Kunci : Ikan Gabus, Pakan Buatan, Cacing Tanah, Pertumbuhan ABSTRACTSnakehead is a type of fish economical in public waters and potential to be developed. One of the efforts to increase the growth of snakehead is by adding natural food that has high protein such as earthworms. The purpose of this research is to know the percentage of artificial feed and earthworm (Lumbricus rubellus) on growth of cork (Channa striata) at salinity 3 ppt. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications with different percentage of artificial feed and earthworm as treatment. The treatments used were: A. 100% pellet + 0% earthworm, B. 75% pellet + 25% earthworm, C. 50% pellet + 50% earthworm and D. 25% pellet + 75% earthworm. During the study of cork fish kept for 30 days. Based on the results of research calculated using the method of variance analysis obtained value F arithmetic of 43.15 which is greater than F Table 5% that is 4.06 and F Table 1% ie 7.59 so that the difference in percentage of artificial feed and earthworms have a very significant effect on the growth of cork fish. Treatment D has the best growth rate of 4.46 g, and treatment A which has the lowest growth rate of only 2.86 g. Water quality parameters are 28 - 29ºC, pH water 7.5 - 8.4, DO 5 - 7,9 ppm, and salinity 3 ppt. Keywords: Snakehead, earthworm, percentage of feed

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan salinitas terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup larva udang vannamei (Litopenaeus vannamei). Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut yaitu A (Salinitas 10 0/00), B (Salinitas 12,5 0/00), C (Salinitas 15 0/00), D (Salinitas 17,5 0/00). Larva udang vannamei PL 13 ditebar pada akuarium dengan kepadatan 20 ekor/akuarium. Parameter yang diamati adalah laju pertumbuhan, tingkat kelangsungan hidup (SR) dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan salinitas berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup larva udang vannamei (F Hitung > F Tabel). Pada salinitas 17, 5 0/00 memberikan hasil tertinggi terhadap pertumbuhan bobot larva udang vannamei sebesar 0,063 g dan kelangsungan hidup 100 %. Kualitas air penelitian layak untuk media pemeliharaan larva udang vannamei, yakni suhu 26-30 OC, pH 8,398,56, DO 6,03-6,05.Kata Kunci : Larva udang vannamei, salinitas, pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup

Abstract

Penurunan produksi udang windu (P monodon) terjadi akibat menurunya daya dukung lahan tambak sehingga memberikan peluang penyakit mudah menyerang udang windu. Terdapat 90 % lahan tambak di Pantura Jateng merupakan tambak kurang produktif untuk budidaya udang windu. Akibatnya pendapatan petambak menurun sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan . Pemanfaatan lahan tambak kurang produktif tersebut masih dapat dipertahankan dan ditingkatkan melalui diversifikasi produk tambak. Diversifikasi biota yang dipilih haruslah memiliki harga jual yang menguntungkan  dan menggunkan teknologi yang ramah lingkungan. Kepiting bakau (Scylla serrata) yang benihnya banyak terdapat di Pantan ulujami menjadi tumpuan budidaya yang memiliki masa depan yang prospekti. Selain itu Gracilaria verucosa sejenis rumput laut yang mampu hidup berkembang pada salinitas air payau juga merupakan komoditi ekspor. Keberadaan budidaya kepiting bakau dan Gracilaria verucosa sudah dibudidayakan di tambak-tambak Desa Mojo dan Desa Pesantren namun produk yang dihasilkan masih kurang optimal oleh karenanya melalui polikultur antara kepiting dan Gracilaria verucosa akan diperoleh keuntungtungan ganda sebab dua biota tersebut dibudidayakan pada lahan yang sama. Optimasi lahan dengan polikultur memungkinkan petambak memperoleh keuntungan yang lebih baik. Pemasaran hasil produk kepiting bakau tidak mengalami kendala sebab terdapat beberapa KPD (Koperasi Perikanan Darat) di Kabupaten Pemalang. Sedangkan kendala harga jual rumput laut masih kurang memberikan keuntungan yang layak bagi petambak. Untuk itu perlu ada upaya menjalin antara stakeholder baik pemerintah, investor, petambak dan pelaku bisnis lainya untuk memberikan solusi agar pendapatan petambak meningkat Kata kuci : kepiting, rumput laut, polikultur

Abstract

The Purpose of this research was to know the different probiotics types giving effect to highest growth on red tilapia fish (Oreochromis sp.). This research was held on 1st November 2015 until 30th November 2015 at brackish water and sea Laboratory, Fisheries Faculty, Pekalongan University. Method was using experiment method with completely randomized design (RAL) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The fourth treatments are treatment A (without probiotic), treatment B (commercial probiotic 1), treatment C (commercial probiotic 2) and treatment D (tuber Banana’s probiotic). Each treatments with given probiotic dose 10 cc/kg feed. Red tilapia fish sized 3-5 cm to the aquarium stocked at a density of 1fish/liter. The paramete orbserved were the growth rate, survival rate (SR), and water quaity. The result shows that the different probiotics given were effect on red nile tilapia growth (F count > F Tabel). Probiotic from commercial probiotic 1 gave the highest result on red nile tilapia fish weight growth were 7.02 grs. Tuckey test result shows that treatment B – treatment A very significant effect on red tilapia weight growth with value 3.043 (5% = 0.829, 1% = 1,086). Red tilapia fish survival rate during research reach 100%. Water quality research good to red nile fish culture medium, were temperature 26 – 29o C, pH 6.7 – 7.8 , and DO 6 mg/l.Keyword : Red Tilapia Fish, Probiotics, Growth

Abstract

Vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) was kind of shrimp that cultivating by globally. Vaname shrimp has an euryhaline character or able to live on wide salinity. At low salinity watery, the availibility of minerals is too low. This research has to analized using dolomite as pellet for moulting period of vaname shrimp. This research was use sample survey method or field survey, and analyzing descriptively. The value of research shows that adding dolomite at vaname shrimp’s feed could help moulting proccess and growth faster. Growth data in pond 1 shows that MBW is 16,39 g with size 61 and pond 2 MBW is 13,7 g with size 72. Difference result in Mean Body Weight (MBW) is 2,69 g and size difference on 11. Water quality take effect on osmoregulation and metabolic rate.Keywords : Vaname shrimp, dolomite, moulting, growth, water quality

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of different natural feeding of Betta fish growth and to know what types of natural food that provides growth Betta fish is best. Research was conducted that the Laboratory of Aquaculture Faculty of Fisheries University of Pekalongan on the date of 12 June to 12 July 2010. This study used a complete randomized desaign with 3 treatments and each treatment is repeated 3 times. The treatment applied are different types of natural food is Daphnia sp, mosquito larva an silk Worm. Results of analysis of variance showed that differences in types of natural food which is given a very real effect on the growth of Betta fish. Tukey’s test further showed that the treatment using silk Worms were significantly different to the treatment using mosquito larva and treatment using Daphnia sp. The range of water quality during the study are still eligible for the maintenance of Betta fish. namely the water temperature tranges between 26 – 30oC, the pH of water range from 7-8 and DO ranged between 3.7 to 5.4 ppmKey word : Ornamental cupang, Daphnia sp, mosquito larvae, silk worm

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was conducted to determine the effect of saponin with different doses on mortality of white snapper (Lates calcalifer). The study was conducted on 18 to 31 July 2017 at the Center for Sea Aquaculture Development (BBPBL) Pesawaran District, Lampung. The experimental design used was Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments included, treatment A (3 ppm), B treatment (5 ppm), C treatment (7 ppm), and D treatment (9 ppm). The results showed that administration of saponin with different doses gave a very significant effect on mortality of white snapper (F count> F table). The fastest time of death can be in treatment D (9 ppm) that is 45 minutes, followed by treatment of C (7 ppm) that is 74.6 minutes, then treatment B (5 ppm) is 91 minutes and longest time of death in treatment A ( 3 ppm) ie 128.6 minutes. The water quality of the research media is still feasible for the medium of snapper maintenance ie temperature 290 C, salinity 33 ppt, pH 7.82-8,10, DO 5,6-6,4, ammonia 0,11-0,13 ppm  Keywords: White snapper, dose of saponin, mortality

Abstract

Abstrak Salah satu kendala dalam budidaya ikan adalah kehadiran cacing parasit pada tubuh ikan termasuk pada ikan hias jenis cupang. Namun informasi tentang keberdaaan endoparasit pada ikan hias tersebut masih terbatas. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis cacing endoparasit  yang menginfeksi ikan cupang di Kota Pekalongan. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui berapa tingkat prevalensi dan derjat infeksi  endoparasit tersebut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 1 Desember – 15 Desember 2020. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 60 ekor adalah ikan yang menunjukan gejala sakit. Ikan dikelompokan menjadi dua kelompok berdasarkan ukuran 3.5 – 4,5 cm (Kelompok I ) dan 4,6 – 5,6 (kelompok II), masing masing sebanyak 30 ekor. Pengamatan endoparasit pada ikan cupang dilakukan di Laboratorium Biologi Universitas Pekalongan.  Dengan  hasil  yang  di  dapat  yaitu  jenis cacing Capillaria sp dengan kelompok I prevalensi 36,5 % dan kelompok II 13.33 %. Sedangkan nilai dererajat infeksinya adalah 1,93 ekor per individu ikan atau infeksi rendah. Kata kunci : Capillaria sp, Endoparasit, Ikan Cupang Abstract One of the obstacles in aquaculture  is the presence of parasitic worms in the body of fish, including betta fish. However, information about the presence of endoparasites in ornamental fish is still limited. This study aims to determine the type of endoparasitic worm that infects betta fish in Pekalongan City. In addition, to find out what the prevalence rate and infectiin disesease degree of these endoparasites is. The study was conducted on December 1st – December 15th, 2020. The number of samples used was 60 fish that showed symptoms of illness. The fish were grouped into two groups based on the size of 3.5 – 4.5 cm (Group I ) and 4.6 – 5.6 (Group II), each with 30 fish. Observation of endoparasites in betta fish was carried out at the Biology Laboratory of Pekalongan University. With the results obtained, namely the type of worm Capillaria sp with a prevalence of 36.5% in group I and 13.33% in group II. Abstract

Vannamei shrimp’s culture (Litopenaeus vannamei) is need waterwheel as an oxygen supply. Density high require the amount wheendmill sufficient for the needs cultivan oxygen fulfilled. Therefore this study aimed to get the design waterwheel assemblies in the cultivation of vannamei shrimp and comparethe use of whind mills water paddel wheel. This research method is experimental design to make the design engeneering water wheel assemblies on the cultivation of vannamei shrimp in ponds result obtained design water wheel assemblies btained by the design of the water wheel using the first propulsion desel engeine 8 PK can move the two assemblies to maximize aeration process in the ponds with (area) at the same ponds, water wheel assemblies can move the eight (8) leaves the mill simultaneously the while (paddel using one engine to drive the dynamo 2 leaves movement resulted water more evenly wheel assemblies circulation well.Keywords : vannamei shrimp, assembled mills, paddel whell.
