Abstract

Good literacy skills can develop critical, creative, and noble thinking patterns. Therefore, teachers play a crucial role in improving students' literacy skills at school. The challenge faced by the partner school, SD Muhammadiyah Al Mukhlishin, is the difficulty in designing digital learning resources that incorporate local values relevant to the students' surroundings. Therefore, teacher training in designing digital learning resources, specifically storybooks based on local wisdom, is essential to implement. The objectives of this Community Service Program are to enhance teachers' understanding of literacy and science concepts and to improve their skills in creating and designing storybooks based on the local wisdom of South Kalimantan using Canva, Meta AI, ChatGPT, and Hayzine. This PKM activity took the form of a training program attended by 25 participants, with the output being a collection of children's storybooks in digital format. Based on pre-test and post-test scores, there was an improvement in participants' scores. The lowest pre-test score was 60, and the highest was 90, with an average pre-test score of 69.2. The post-test results showed the lowest score of 80 and the highest of 100, with an average post-test score of 94. Participants experienced an increase in scores of 24.8 points, or 35.8%. Based on the questionnaire distributed with aspects assessed on 10 indicators, it can be concluded that the percentage criteria of the training participants' answers were categorized as Very Good.

Abstract

This study sought to ascertain whether there was a correlation between belief in readiness to plan teaching and learning activities, believe in perceptions of PAUD teachers, and readiness to plan teaching and learning activities. Quantitative research with a correlational design was used in this study. A questionnaire was employed as the study's instrument, and a simple random sampling technique was used to select the sample. In terms of hypothesis testing, the researcher used product moment correlation with the results that there was a positive relationship between beliefs and perceptions of PAUD teachers, there was no relationship between beliefs about the readiness to plan STEAM-based learning, and there was no relationship between perceptions of readiness to plan. Abstract

The rapid development of technology today requires development in the field of learning media in order to integrate technology in its process. One of strategy that can be used is integrating the technology as assessment tools. In this research, the platform that used is Kahoot. The objective of this research was to determine the validity products as assessment tool. This research used a modified 4D development model that only implemented till expert validation. Based on the expert validity test shows in terms of content/material aspect the product obtains 93.75% score with very valid criteria, then 97.50% score with very valid criteria also in media aspect, and 98.75% score with very valid criteria in language aspect. Based on this expert validity test, the product obtained overall validity score with a high percentage with a 96.67% value which meets the very good validity criteria. This study shows that the integration of technology can be combined as an assessment tool for prospective biology teacher students. This study is still limited to the validity test only, then this validated product can be used for further research to measure the level of effectiveness and practicality of its use.

Abstract

Mata kuliah Biologi Umum di Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas PGRI Kalimantan mencakup berbagai konsep dasar biologi yang penting bagi mahasiswa untuk memahami prinsip ilmu biologi yang lebih kompleks. Namun, tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengajar mata kuliah ini adalah bagaimana membuat pembelajaran menjadi menarik dan interaktif sehingga mahasiswa dapat memahami materi dengan lebih baik dan merasa termotivasi untuk belajar. Permainan edukatif telah terbukti menjadi salah satu metode yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Media pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran dengan kegiatan permainan salah satunya adalah media permainan edukatif. Adapun media yang dikembangkan pada penelitian ini ialah media pembelajaran permainan edukatif berbasis Kahoot!. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan media pembelajaran permainan edukatif berbasis Kahoot! Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan media tersebut pada mata kuliah Biologi Umum. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan. Model pengambangan yang digunakan adalah model 4D (Define, Design, Development, dan Disseminate) dari Thiagarajan. Tempat penelitian yaitu di Universitas PGRI Kalimantan. Subjek penelitian adalah validator ahli dan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi. Data hasil penelitian yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, media permainan edukatif berbasis Kahoot! pada mata kuliah Biologi Umum menunjukkan kevalidan yang sangat baik dengan rata-rata 96,67% dari aspek isi, media, dan bahasa. Media ini relevan dengan materi, menarik, serta komunikatif, sehingga layak digunakan sebagai dalam pembelajaran. Respon mahasiswa juga sangat positif dengan persentase 83%, mencerminkan efektivitas media ini dalam mendukung pemahaman materi dan keterlibatan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran.
