Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the principle of justice (al-‘adl) in mudharabah contracts within Islamic Microfinance Institutions (LKMS) in Indonesia. The rapid growth of the Islamic economy demands the application of contracts that align with Islamic values, one of which is mudharabah—a partnership between the shahibul maal (capital provider) and the mudharib (entrepreneur)—based on fair and transparent profit-sharing principles. The research employs a qualitative method using a library research approach and a comparative analysis between the concepts of fiqh muamalah and modern regulations such as the DSN-MUI fatwas and OJK regulations concerning LKMS. The findings reveal that, conceptually, the mudharabah contract reflects the value of justice through the balance of rights and obligations between capital owners and business managers. However, in practice, LKMS still face several challenges, including institutional dominance in determining profit-sharing ratios (nisbah), low transparency in business reporting, and weak sharia supervision. These issues indicate a gap between the normative principles of fiqh muamalah and their regulatory implementation in practice. This study recommends the formulation of maqashid sharia-based contract frameworks, the enhancement of human resource capacity in fiqh muamalah and Islamic accounting, and the strengthening of the Sharia Supervisory Board’s function to ensure comprehensive implementation of justice in every contract.

Abstract

Introduction: This study examines the influence of digital resilience and service quality on the switching intention of customers at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in Aceh, with subjective norm as a mediating variable. The purpose is to understand both the direct and indirect effects of these variables in shaping customer loyalty within the context of Islamic banking. Methods: This quantitative research employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 4.0 to analyze data collected from 100 respondents. Results: Based on the hypothesis test results obtained through the bootstrapping procedure, all paths between constructs in this research model show statistical significance at the 5% significance level. This is indicated by T-statistic values ≥ 1.65 and p-values ≤ 0.05. Conclusion and suggestion: These findings suggest that technological performance and service delivery alone are not sufficient; social perceptions and community norms also play a vital role in customer retention. Therefore, to reduce the intention for switching, BSI must integrate digital excellence with strategies that build and sustain positive public perception and social support. This study emphasizes the need for a balanced approach between technical capability and socio-cultural engagement in Islamic banking services.

Abstract

Abstract

The cargo distribution industry in Indonesia continues to face challenges such as lost, damaged, delayed, and exchanged goods. This study aims to analyze the effect of Risk Management Optimization on Cargo Distribution Delivery, with Service Quality as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach and the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (PLS), data were collected from 50 respondents consisting of 40 operational employees and 10 active customers of CV Anugrah Alam Abadi. The results show that Risk Management Optimization significantly influences Cargo Distribution Delivery (? = 0.565; p < 0.001) both directly and indirectly through Service Quality (? = 0.337; p = 0.006). These findings confirm that effective risk management not only reduces operational risks but also enhances service reliability and delivery efficiency. Practically, companies should strengthen Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for cargo loading–unloading, implement real-time tracking systems, and establish clear Service Level Agreements (SLA) with transportation partners to minimize risk and improve customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Waqf, especially cash waqf, is essentially an investment where the owner wants to endow his wealth so that the results can be obtained at the end (yaumulqiyamah). This can be done while maintaining the principal, such as waqf of trees, fruitful gardens, rental proceeds on leased goods, or in the form of dividends or income such as cash waqf. The purpose of this research is to find out the management of cash waqf investment management in order to be more productive. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative and content analysis literature study. The results of this study indicate that investment management carried out in cash waqf investments is allocated to two aspects, namely social and productive. The social aspect includes mosque donations, Qur'anic waqf, scholarships for orphans, and the poor. in the productive aspect, including investment in fattening goats and other businesses managed by third parties in collaboration with waqf managers. The problem faced by managers in terms of investment management is the lack of supervision and focus on the waqf property itself. This is because there are many programs other than the waqf program that must be prioritized. The management of waqf investment has indeed been managed productively, but for the utilization of the results it cannot be used productively so that the mauquf 'alaih cannot fully feel the benefits.
