Abstract

The Singosari Artificial Insemination Center (AIC) is a Technical Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Agriculture that has implemented the Public Service Agency Financial Management Pattern with the task and function of providing public services to all stakeholders. This study aims to analyze the level of employee job satisfaction and to determine the differences in employee job satisfaction based on job diversity, employee status and generation. This research is a mixed methods research conducted at AIC Singosari Malang Regency, East Java. using an instrument in form of a questionnaire distributed to 142 respondents using census sampling technique. This study uses descriptive analysis in the form of factor analysis and inferential analysis in the form of Mann Whitney Test and Kruskal Wallis Test. With the findings of seven dimensions of job satisfaction, namely the job itself, leadership, coworkers, promotions, work facilities and work environment in the high category and have the same job satisfaction category, which is quite satisfied on average. One indicator with a low score is the allowance indicator and there is a significant difference in job satisfaction based on Position and generation but there is an insignificant difference in job satisfaction between civil servants and non-civil servants. It is expected that AIC Singosari will always socialize and maintain transparency regarding the compensation structure for non-civil servants, including how wages and incentives are determined and distributed. Recognize differences in job security and benefits between civil servants and non-civil servants. As well as considering the desires and expectations between generations.

Abstract

The social problems of children with difficult economic environments or incomplete families are the concern of the government and society to overcome them. Al-Ma'un Orphanage is one of Muhammadiyah's charitable efforts as a social institution that provides religious guidance and other creativity for foster children so that they can be independent and useful for society. This orphanage fosters approximately 30 children of various ages. The aim of the foster child development system to created of independent creativity through training in making herbal liquid bath soap. Aloe vera is a plant that is easy to grow and has many benefits for skin health such as moisturizing, softening, and as an antioxidant that can inhibit the premature aging process of the skin. Training is carried out using educational and experimental methods by directly involving participants. The results of the training were measured through the evaluation of the pre-test and post-test values with significant results based on the statistical analysis of the paired t-test (p <0.05). There was a significant increase in participants' knowledge before and after the training activity. This training is not only aimed at nurturing, but also providing provisions for children so that one day they will have hope and a better future because children as God's mandate, the next generation of the nation must get the widest possible opportunity to grow and develop optimally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak manajemen konflik dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui motivasi. Objek penelitiannya adalah para pegawai negeri sipil yang bekerja di BKPSDM Kota Malang, BKPSDM Kabupaten Malang Dan BPSDM Provinsi Jawa Timur. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Survey dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Kuesioner dibagikan kepada 121 responden. Data yang dikumpulkan diolah dengan menggunakan Structural Equition Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan Software Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen konflik secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi dan kinerja pegawai, kompetensi secara langsung tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi dan kinerja pegawai, dan secara tidak langsung manajemen konflik dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui motivasi tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Perubahan ekonomi yang cepat, lembaga pemerintah berupaya meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas kinerja sebagai langkah menuju pencapaian tujuan perusahaan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai, seperti beban kerja, disiplin kerja, motivasi kerja di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Malang Selatan. Metode: Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian explanatory research. Hasil: Terjadi peningkatan kedisiplinan kerja pegawai dan kepuasan finansial juga berperan sebagai sumber motivasi, membuat pegawai lebih fokus dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Kesimpulan: Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai dan motivasi kerja. Sementara itu, disiplin kerja tidak memiliki dampak langsung pada kinerja pegawai, tetapi berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja. Selain itu, motivasi kerja diidentifikasi sebagai faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Background: Pendidikan pada anak usia dini  merupakan salah satu program dalam ranah pendidikan non formal yang memiliki tujuan utama untuk membina dan merangsang perkembangan anak usia dini sejak lahir hingga usia sebelum masuk pendidikan formal.  Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan  pendekatan dasar yang mencakup berbagai aspek perkembangan anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak-anak usia dini dengan program pendidikan karakter  dalam nilai-nilai islam. Metode: Pendekatan yang diusulkan dalam PKM penanaman dan peningkatan nilai-nilai Islam pada anak usia dini melalui metode cerita atau dongeng, permainan peran, dan kunjungan ke tempat ibadah. Selain itu juga menanamkan nilai-nilai islam dengan metode ceramah yaitu aqidah,ibadan dan akhlak. Tahapan kegiatan dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi, kerjasama, persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi.  Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian yang dilakukan di desa Pesanggrahan, ditemukan bahwa anak-anak usia dini lebih tertarik pada metode penenaman nilai-nilai islam dengan metode cerita atau dongeng, permainan peran dan kunjungan ke tempat ibadan. Namun, pada metode ceramah merasa kurag tertarik karena merasa cepat bosan dan kurang menarik hanya dengan mendengarkan ceramah saja. Dengan mendengar suasana menjadi monoton dan tidak ada kegiatan yang menyenangkan. Kesimpulan: Pemahaman bahwa anak-anak usia dini lebih tertarik pada metode penanaman nilai-nilai Islam melalui metode cerita atau dongeng, permainan peran, dan kunjungan ke tempat ibadah adalah suatu temuan yang berharga.

Abstract

Background: Pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor utama dalam pembentukan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) suatu negara. Pendidikan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan individu untuk berhasil dalam kehidupan pribadi dan profesional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengembangan mutu sumberdaya guru dalam lingkup pendidikan. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan deskriptif melaui pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MI Bustanul Ulum Batu.  Hasil: Kebijakan yang diberikan oleh kepala madrasah di MI Bustanul Ulum dalam upaya pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru sangatlah penting serta dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di madrasah. Dengan adanya dukungan dari berbagai pihak seperti pemerintah, madrasah, kepala madrasah, pengawas, dan motivasi internal dari guru sendiri, diharapkan pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru di MI Bustanul Ulum dapat terus berjalan dan memberikan dampak positif pada mutu pendidikan. Kesimpulan: Dengan melakukan peninjauan kembali jadwal kegiatan sekolah, manajemen waktu yang efektif dan penugasan tugas yang bijaksana, pelatihan kepala sekolah dalam manajemen SDM dan pengembangan staf, memperkuat komunikasi, menyediakan akses yang lebik baik ke pelatihan, dan pelatihan teknologi yang intensif dapat menjadi solusi mengatasi hambatan dalam pengembangan mutu SDM di MI Bustanul Ulum.

Abstract

UMKM of instant ginger powder has been throwing away ginger dregs from the process of making instant ginger powder. Ginger dregs that have been produced so far are considered as waste that has no economic value and benefits. Based on observations made by the service team, the ginger dregs still smelled like ginger, so it could be concluded that the dregs still contained essential oils. Essential oils are oils contained in several plants such as ginger, nutmeg, lemongrass etc. The essential oil contained in ginger pulp is an export commodity with high economic value because it is widely used for ingredients in the cosmetic, food, aromatherapy and pharmaceutical industries which are adapted to the quality of the oil. The ginger dregs processing method uses steam distillation technique. The ginger dregs are put into a distillation apparatus which is added with water and then heated for 5-6 hours over medium heat. After the ginger dregs mixture evaporates, the water vapor comes out and is accommodated. After the distillation process is complete, the distillate is separated by decantation technique to separate the oil and water layers. In this process, 10 ml of distilled essential oil is produced which can be used for air freshener.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilakukan dengan mitra UMKM yang bergerak pada pengolahan minuman serbuk jahe instan di daerah Indramayu. Dalam kegiatan yang dilakukan ini  tujuan untuk memberikan motivasi bagi UMKM minuman serbuk jahe instan untuk meningkatkan pemasaran sehingga mampu meningkatkan penghasilan dan dapat bertahan di masa pandemic. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan cara ceramah, diskusi, dan pemberian materi mengenai manajemen keuangan dan digital marketing serta strategi yang harus dijalankan oleh UMKM agar dapat survive pada masa pandemic ini, Kesimpulan dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah UMKM membutuhkan bantuan dalam hal permodalan dan pendampingan agar dapat bangkit dan mandiri dimasa pandemic ini. Solusi yang diberikan adalah bantuan permodalan bagi UMKM dan pendampingan proses pemasaran produk baik pasar online maupun offline. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan ini, pemasaran produk di masa pandemic menjadi alternatif karena mengurangi kontak dan tetap menjaga protocol Kesehatan. Selain itu mitra juga sangat terbantu oleh pendampingan pemasaran produk yang dilakukan oleh peneliti.

Abstract

UMKM JM HAMKA is a UMKM (micro, small and medium enterprises) that produces instant ginger powder in Indramayu. So far, the processing of instant ginger is done traditionally so that the number of production and product marketing is very limited. This community partnership program activity was carried out to overcome these partner problems by holding mentoring training, product marketing management training, and procurement of appropriate machines (ginger recrystallization machine, ginger grater machine, ginger washing machine). Later, partners were able to manage their business better. In this activity, the method used in this activity is a questionnaire, and practice by assisting in using technological tools in processing ginger powder and training in marketing management. All of these activities are carried out online to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Forty-two participants attended this training and mentoring activity. Next, the data was processed using excel and obtained data that as many as 95.2% of participants were interested in this activity, while the rest did not answer the questionnaire given, besides the effectiveness of production can save time as much as 30% and sales also increase by 35%. The output target in this activity is that partners can produce instant ginger of good quality and in larger quantities to reach a wider market, and partners are expected to be able to manage financial management and marketing so that the income generated by partners also increases.

Abstract

DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) extraction method is the process of separating DNA from the sample. In this process, the DNA obtained must be protected from contamination by RNA, carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins. Contamination of RNA, carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins can increase DNA purity. DNA purity was measured using a NanoDrop 2000 spectrophotometer measured by the absorbance ratio at 260 nm and 280 nm wavelengths. Good quality DNA will have an A260/A280 ratio of 1.7-2.0 and a concentration > 0.03 pg. This study aimed to obtain the appropriate DNA extraction method for fresh meat samples (a mixture of rat and chicken meat). This research consisted of two stages: the DNA extraction stage using the Progenus EasyFast™ Extraction Kit for Meat Products and the amplification stage using the EASYFAST™ Rat Detection Kit. This study used 16 samples of a mixture of rat meat and chicken with concentrations of rat meat: 5, 10, 15, and 20%. At the extraction stage, the incubation time was optimized for 15, 30, 45 minutes, and 1 hour. The results showed that the one hour incubation had a lowest CT value in the results of PCR amplification.
