Abstract

Background:  Kecakapan English for Tourism memainkan peran penting dalam pengembangan dan promosi objek wisata suatu daerah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) di Kota Batu melalui pelatihan bahasa Inggris yang berfokus pada sektor pariwisata. Metode: Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dilakukan dengan cara onsite (tatap muka langsung) dengan menggunakan Pre-Test dan Post-Test untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan peserta sebelum dan setelah pelatihan. Peserta diikuti oleh 90 orang yang dilakukan di Gedung Graha Wangsa Kota Batu. Sedangkan instrument evaluasi menggunakan uji analisis Wilcoxon. Hasil: Pelatihan ini berhasil memenuhi tujuan utamanya, yaitu meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris masyarakat Kota Wisata Batu. Dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru ini, masyarakat diharapkan dapat lebih siap dalam mendukung pengembangan pariwisata lokal, khususnya dalam berinteraksi dengan wisatawan domestik maupun internasional. Dari hasil uji wilcoxon, diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,003 < 0,050 yang menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan antara pres test dan posttest yang dilakukan. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan yang telah dilakukan memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan peserta, terutama dalam penggunaan bahasa Inggris sehari-hari. Peningkatan yang signifikan terlihat dalam tiga aspek utama layanan pelanggan, yaitu cara menyapa tamu, menangani keluhan, dan menyampaikan permohonan maaf dengan sopan. Selain itu, peserta juga mengalami perkembangan dalam keterampilan pariwisata, termasuk kemampuan menunjukkan arah/lokasi dan memperkenalkan objek wisata kepada wisatawan. Sebagai rekomendasi untuk program selanjutnya, pelatihan dapat difokuskan pada penguatan keterampilan bahasa Inggris yang lebih spesifik dalam industri pariwisata.

Abstract

The Singosari Artificial Insemination Center (BBIB) is a Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) under the Ministry of Agriculture that has implemented the Financial Management Pattern of the Public Service Agency with the task and function of providing public services to all stakeholders, both direct and indirect. Employee performance can be affected by job satisfaction, however, so far there has been no analysis of the level of employee job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the level of employee job satisfaction and to find out the difference in employee job satisfaction based on the diversity of positions, employee statuses and generations. This research is a mixed research (Mix methods) conducted at BBIB Singosari, Malang Regency, East Java. using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire which was distributed to 142 respondents using the census sampling technique. This study uses descriptive analysis in the form of factor analysis and inferential analysis in the form of the Mann Whitney Test and the Kruskal Wallis Test. With the findings of seven dimensions of job satisfaction, namely the job itself, leadership, colleagues, job promotions, work facilities and work environment are in the high category and have the same job satisfaction category, which is quite satisfied on average. One indicator with a low score is an allowance indicator and there is a significant difference in job satisfaction based on position and generation, but there is a non-significant difference in job satisfaction between civil servants and non-civil servants. It is hoped that BBIB Singosari will always socialize and maintain transparency regarding the compensation structure for non-civil servant employees, including how wages and incentives are determined and distributed. Acknowledging the differences in job security and benefits between civil servants and non-civil servants. As well as considering the desires and expectations between generations.

Abstract

Fasting during Ramadan is an obligatory act of worship for Muslims, but for individuals with certain health conditions, fasting while undergoing drug therapy can be confusing. This community service activity (PKM) aims to provide education to the community on the correct way to consume drugs while fasting. This activity was carried out in the Foster Village of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Science UHAMKA, Bintara RT 007, Bekasi City, West Java. This activity involved three pharmacists as speakers. The methods used for implementing community service activities include lectures, question and answer sessions, and interactive discussions. The results of community service from the activity showed a significant increase in community knowledge about the correct use of drugs during fasting. This PKM is expected to increase public awareness and understanding of the correct use of drugs, so that they can carry out fasting more optimally and safely.

Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted to determine and analyze the influence of price, service quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty on Shopee e-commerce. This type of research uses an explanatory research method through a quantitative approach, with the data analysis technique used, namely multiple linear regression analysis. Sampling was taken using non-probability sampling with a snowball sampling method with a total of 82 respondents who were students majoring in management at the Faculty of Economics and Business and had made at least 2 purchases at e-commerce Shopee. The results show that price, service quality and customer satisfaction have a simultaneous effect on customer loyalty and each independent variable, price, service quality and customer satisfaction have a partial effect on customer loyalty. Keywords: Price, service quality, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of work motivation, job satisfaction and work environment on employee productivity at PT. Literindo Berkah Karya. Employee productivity. Employee productivity can be interpreted as a tool for assessing the comparison between the quality and quantity of an employee's work or work that has been completed. This research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. This research collected data from 30 respondents who were employees of PT. Literindo Berkah Karya. The variables studied include work motivation, job satisfaction, and work environment.The research results show that work motivation, job satisfaction, and work environment have a significant effect on employee productivity, work motivation has a significant effect on employee productivity, job satisfaction has no effect on employee productivity, work environment has no effect on employee productivity. This research suggests that companies provide job promotions, give appreciation to employees, and improve work facilities to increase employee productivity at work. Keywords: Work Motivation, Job Satisfaction, Work Environment, Employee Productivity

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of Entrepreneurship Education, Entrepreneurship Practices and Entrepreneurial Motivation on Entrepreneurial Interest of Management Study Program Students, University of Malang, Class of 2021. This research is a type of quantitative research. The population of this study is management students class of 2021 with a sample size calculated using the slovin formula of 82 respondents. To solve the problem in this study using SPSS assistance with validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, F test, and t test. The results showed that simultaneously the variables of Entrepreneurship Education, Entrepreneurship Practice and Entrepreneurial Motivation had a significant effect on Entrepreneurial Interest. Partially Entrepreneurship Education has a significant effect on Entrepreneurial Interest, Entrepreneurship Practice has a significant effect on Entrepreneurial Interest, Entrepreneurial Motivation has a significant effect on Entrepreneurial Interest. Keywords : Entrepreneurship Education, Entrepreneursip Practice, Entrepreneurial Motivation, Entrepreneurial Interest

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is: 1) To test the information content of Impowering Leadership, Perceived Organizational Support and Work Life Balance on Employee Performance at Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Bima Airport. 2) To determine the effect of Impowering Leadership, Perceived Organizational Support and Work Life Balance on Employee Performance at Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Bima Airport.The sample in this study amounted to 37 people who were employees of Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Bima Airport. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data used in the study used primary and secondary data. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out that each question item in the research questionnaire is normally distributed and there are no problems with the results of the simultaneous test which states that the results of the variables Impowering Leadership, Perceived Organizational Support, and Work Life Balance, simultaneously have a significant effect on Employee Performance at Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Bima Airport. Keywords: Impowering Leadership, Perceived Organizational Support, Work Life Balance, Employee Performance.

Abstract

Abstract This research investigates the relationship between service quality, price, trust, and customer satisfaction in the context of J&T Express delivery services. Using a quantitative methodology with an associative framework, we surveyed 75 respondents via purposive sampling. The results of multiple linear regression analysis indicate that service quality, price, and trust simultaneously exert a significant impact on customer satisfaction. Moreover, each of these variables has a positive and significant individual effect on customer satisfaction. The study's findings offer actionable implications for the company to improve its service delivery and build trust with customers. Keywords: Service Quality, Price, Customer Trust, Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

In an era of increasing business competition and dynamic digital transformation, employee performance becomes a crucial factor for the success of banking institutions such as Bank Jatim Lamongan. Work-life balance and employee competence are two important aspects that can influence this performance. Additionally, work motivation acts as a key driver in enhancing employee productivity and effectiveness. Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence of work-life balance and employee competence on employee performance, with work motivation as a mediating variable. The research object is the employees of Bank Jatim Lamongan branch. The approach used is quantitative with explanatory research methods, where data were collected through research instruments and analyzed statistically to test the relationships between variables. The results show that employee competence and work motivation have a significant positive effect on performance, while work-life balance only affects work motivation and does not directly impact employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of managing competence and motivation to improve employee performance in the banking environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of competence and compensation on job performance and employee career development, both directly and indirectly through the mediating variable of job performance. The research was conducted on employees of the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia in East Java with a quantitative approach and analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM). Data were obtained through distributing questionnaires to 60 respondents representing various Representative Offices of Bank Indonesia in the region. The results of the analysis show that competence and compensation have a significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, job performance also has a positive effect on career development. In addition, it was found that competence and compensation also indirectly affect career development through the mediation of work performance.These findings imply that increasing competence and providing appropriate compensation can be an important strategy in supporting employee career development through improved work performance. Therefore, organisational management is expected to pay more attention to aspects of competence, compensation, and performance evaluation as a whole
