Abstract

This study aims to bridge the gap between education and industry in financial management by developing a comprehensive occupational map within the Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF). Employing the methodologies of the Mapping Study (Petersen et al., 2008) and Rapid Assessment Process (RAP) (Beebe, 2005), the research identifies and categorizes essential competencies required for various financial management roles across different qualification levels. The study ensures the validity and traceability of standards by adhering to the principles of the Regional Model Competency Standards (RMCS). Key findings include the identification of critical competencies for each IQF level, which inform curriculum development and support policy-making to align vocational education with industry needs. The results highlight the importance of developing tailored educational programs to enhance employability and career prospects for graduates, contributing to a competitive workforce in Indonesia. This research provides insights and recommendations for future studies, curriculum development, and policy-making in vocational education and training.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the law arising from crypto currency transactions in the form of bitcoin where the Bitcoin phenomenon causes several legal problems that are not yet clear on the regulation regarding the use and legal protection arising from the Bitcoin phenomenon. This research is included in normative or doctrinal legal research because this research uses positive norms in the legal system. The technique of data collection is done by literature study. The data analysis technique uses deductive logic by drawing conclusions from general problems to a concrete problem faced. Based on this research, the results show that although MUI has issued a fatwa on the prohibition of Cryptocurrency, Indonesia does not yet have a regulation on Bitcoin virtual currency. So that legal protection for users of this transaction does not obtain legal legal certainty from the State when there is a default or other unlawful act in the transaction

Abstract

Investor secara konsisten mencari keamanan saat mengalokasikan dananya di pasar modal. Tujuan utama mereka adalah untuk mencapai pengembalian yang optimal sekaligus meminimalkan risiko. Pengembalian yang diperoleh pemegang saham mencerminkan keuntungan dari investasi mereka. Bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh laba akuntansi dan arus kas terhadap return saham di perusahaan keuangan. Studi ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Jumlah penduduknya meliputi seluruh perusahaan jasa keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dari tahun 2021 hingga 2023. Metode pengambilan sampel purposive digunakan, menghasilkan 45 sampel. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi berganda. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa laba akuntansi secara signifikan memengaruhi return saham, dan arus kas juga mempengaruhi return saham. Hasil ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi manajemen perusahaan dalam menyusun strategi keuangan yang efektif, terutama dengan meningkatkan laba akuntansi dan menjaga arus kas yang stabil, yang dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan investor dan mendukung return saham yang positif.

Abstract

CV Abah Ipin is a company engaged in the construction and marketing of houses in tegal district. In marketing activities, CV Abah Ipin still uses conventional methods, namely printing and distributing brochures. Conventional marketing techniques are inefficient because they are unable to reach a large enough number of potential customers. In addition, conventional marketing techniques are inefficient because they require a lot of money to produce promotional materials such as brochures. In order to build a web-based home marketing information system for CV Abah Ipin, the author examines these problems as a solution to the problems of traditional marketing that are deemed inefficient and unsuccessful. The technique employed in this design is Waterfall with UML tools, also using MYSQL functions as a database and the PHP programming language helps develop websites. The design of this house marketing information system will produce a web that is expected to be a way to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of CV Abah Ipin's property marketing.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah aspek kehidupan yang juga menjadi hak asasi dari tiap manusia. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan tidak boleh putus dalam keadaan apapun. Semenjak terjadinya pandemi di seluruh dunia, popularitas platform Moodle sebagai tempat pembelajaran daring meningkat. Namun hal ini tidak diimbangin dengan sumber daya manusianya. Banyak sekali para pengajar senior yang tidak familiar dengan platform tersebut. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengusulkan untuk mendesain sebuah asisten kelas interaktif berbasiskan Internet of Things dan Telegram Bot untuk membantu para pengajar untuk mengakses Moodle hanya melalui aplikasi berpesan instan. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan, model tersebut telah sukses melayani 117.628 permintaan. Namun juga disertai permintaan dalam antrian mencapai 75.526 permintaan dan permintaan gagal mencapai 3.175 permintaan. Berdasarkan kecepatan waktu respons nya, model dapat melayani 1000 pengguna dengan rata-rata waktu 66,86 detik. Bisa disimpulkan bahwa model yang diusulkan berhasil melayani banyak pengguna meskipun memiliki kegagalan yang tidak signifikan.

Abstract

This This research aims to address the gap between the competencies required by the organic farming sector and the skills provided by educational institutions in Indonesia. By mapping occupations within the Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF) and using the Rapid Assessment Process (RAP) along with the Regional Model Competency Standard (RMCS), the study identifies key roles and competencies necessary for the industry, ranging from entry-level workers to advanced specialists. The findings suggest that current curricula fail to integrate advanced technologies and practical skills training needed in organic farming. The study proposes curriculum enhancements that incorporate sustainable farming practices, biochar technology, and entrepreneurial education to align with industry demands. A strategic framework is also introduced to address the generational gap in the sector by modernizing the perception of farming and attracting younger talent through digital engagement and innovative educational approaches. The research highlights the importance of bridging the competency gap and fostering a skilled workforce capable of driving sustainable agricultural practices, ultimately strengthening the organic farming sector and ensuring its long-term viability.

Abstract

The development of a Micro-Credential Quality Management System (QMS) aims to ensure that micro-credentials are of high quality and aligned with industry needs. Micro-credentials provide formal recognition of specific competencies acquired through short-term, focused learning, offering an efficient means to address the rapidly evolving labor market and technological landscape. This research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, involving a preliminary study, system development, pilot testing, and validation, to create a robust QMS framework. The QMS focuses on establishing clear standards, rigorous assessment processes, continuous improvement, and collaboration with industry stakeholders to validate competencies. The pilot testing of the QMS in vocational high schools demonstrated its effectiveness in enhancing the relevance and recognition of micro-credentials. The system ensures that issued credentials are aligned with industry demands, improving graduates' employability and competitiveness. The findings indicate that a well-developed QMS for micro-credentials can address gaps in standardization and ensure that credentials are valid, reliable, and recognized across different sectors. The implementation of the QMS facilitates tailored skill acquisition, lifelong learning, and global recognition, making it a critical tool for enhancing workforce readiness and competitiveness.

Abstract

This study addresses the global shift towards sustainable economies, which requires a workforce with proficiency in green practices. The research develops competency standards for Green Citizen Skills, aimed at enhancing employability in green jobs and responding to the increasing demand for sustainability-focused skills. A mixed-methods approach, including literature reviews, expert consultations, and validation through Delphi methods, was employed to formulate actionable frameworks for integrating Green Citizen Skills into vocational education and training systems. The findings highlight the alignment of key elements such as Unit of Competency, Unit Titles, and Performance Criteria with vocational frameworks, ensuring their relevance and adaptability across both educational and professional contexts. Furthermore, competency components like Range of Variables and Critical Aspects are connected to sustainability principles, resource efficiency, and active community engagement, promoting a holistic approach to green job readiness. This study emphasizes the importance of bridging the skills gap between educational outputs and industry demands, fostering a workforce capable of contributing to sustainable development goals. The developed standards provide practical tools to enhance green job preparedness, empowering individuals to support economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Ultimately, this research contributes to the creation of a skilled workforce equipped to drive the transition to a more sustainable global economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan: (1) profil ideal guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan (KKTP), (2) relevansi profil ideal guru SMK-KKTP dengan kurikulum Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (PTM FT UNY), (3) proses pembelajaran di Prodi PTM FT UNY, dan (4) profil calon guru SMKKKTP. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei, yang dilakukan di Prodi PTM FT UNY dan sebelas SMK di provinsi DIY. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) profil ideal guru SMK-KKTP terdiri dari lima aspek kompetensi yaitu: pedagogik bidang studi keahlian, manajerial, kepribadian, dan sosial. Profil ideal guru SMKKKTP termasuk dalam kategori sangat penting. (2) Pofil ideal guru SMK-KKTP sangat relevan dengan kurikulum Prodi PTM FT UNY. Terdapat 59 kompetensi tambahan dalam kurikulum Prodi PTM FT UNY untuk menyiapkan lulusannya agar dapat bekerja di industri, menjadi instruktur, atau menjadi widyaiswara. (3) Pembelajaran di Prodi PTM FT UNY menurut persepsi dosen termasuk dalam kategori sangat memadai dan menurut persepsi mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori memadai. (4) Profil calon guru SMK-KKTP menurut persepsi guru pembimbing PPL termasuk dalam kategori baik; menurut persepsi dosen termasuk dalam kategori baik; dan menurut persepsi mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori baik. THE PROFILE OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS OF THE MACHINING ENGINEERING AND ITS RELEVANCE TO THE CURRICULUM OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM, FACULTY OF ENGINEERING, YOGYAKARTA STATE UNIVERSITYAbstractThis study aims to reveal: (1) the ideal profile of vocational high school teachers of the expertise competency of machining engineering (VET teachers of KKTP); (2) the relevance between the ideal profile of VET teachers of KKTP with the curriculum of Prodi PTM FT UNY; (3) the teaching process in Prodi PTM FT UNY; and (4) the profile of the candidates of VET teachers of KKTP. This research was quantitative research with the survey method, conducted at Prodi PTM FT UNY and eleven vocational high schools in DIY province. The data collection techniques used were documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was the descriptive statistical analysis. The result of this study is as follows. (1) The ideal profile of VET teachers of KKTP consists of five aspects competencies are: pedagogical, subject areas of expertise, managerial, personal, and social. The ideal profile of VET teachers of KKTP is in the very important category. (2) The ideal profile of VET teachers of KKTP very relevant with the curriculum of Prodi PTM FT UNY. There are 59 additional competencies in the curriculum of Prodi PTM FT UNY to prepare graduates to work in the industry, become an instructor, or become trainers. (3) The teaching process at Prodi PTM FT UNY according to the perception of lecturers is in the very adequate category and according to the perception of the students it is in the adequate category. (4) The profile of the candidates of VET teachers of KKTP according to the perception of the supervising teachers of PPL is in the good category; according to the perception of lecturers, it is in the good category; and according to the perception of students, it is in the good category.

Abstract

Speaking is often perceived as one of the most challenging skills in learning English, including among Grade X Broadcasting students at a vocational high school in Yogyakarta. To address this issue, a Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of the One Minute Sharing (OMS) technique in enhancing students’ speaking ability. The OMS technique requires students to speak spontaneously for one minute on selected topics, and in this study, it was implemented over two research cycles. Initial observations and a pre-test revealed low speaking proficiency, with an average score of 63 and only 15% of students meeting the Minimum Mastery Criterion (SKM). Furthermore, many students lacked confidence, and only one-third demonstrated strong motivation. In Cycle I, the average speaking score increased to 70, with 63% of students achieving SKM, and motivation levels rising to 60%, although some hesitation persisted. In Cycle II, improvements were made by incorporating more engaging activities, providing direct modelling and feedback, and offering small rewards as appreciation. These refinements resulted in an average score of 80, with 86% of students meeting SKM and an equal percentage reporting greater motivation and confidence in speaking English. The findings indicate that providing regular, individual speaking opportunities through OMS can substantially improve speaking ability, enhance motivation and self-confidence, and foster better classroom engagement. Therefore, the OMS technique can be considered an effective and practical instructional strategy for promoting autonomous speaking practice, particularly in vocational high school contexts.
