Abstract

As a pioneer in e-learning implementation, UT is required to be able to provide an adequate information technology system continuously, particularly to reach an extensive area of Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to asses of e-learning implementation and to evaluate the factors that influenced e-learning at UT using the DeLone and McLean information system models. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire among two respondent categories, namely students and lecturers, using a convenience sampling method. The data from 300 respondents were then analyzed using the Partial Least Square method. The results indicate that information quality, system quality, service quality positive significantly influenced user satisfaction. Thus, information quality and service quality positive significantly influenced usage. The usage positive significantly influenced user experience, and the usage and user experience positive significantly influenced the net benefit. The conclusion was UT had implemented comprehensive e-learning with high success rates. This success was from the technical aspects of system quality and service quality. Effectively, this success also came from system usage, user satisfaction, and net results. The need for research Implications was explored for a suggestion for better management and utilization of e-learning strategies at the Indonesia Open University.Keywords: DeLone dan McLean, e-learning, information system, PLS, Open UniversityAbstrak: UT sebagai pionir perguruan tinggi yang menerapkan e-learning dituntut selalu dapat menyediakan sistem teknologi informasi yang memadai untuk menjangkau luasnya wilayah Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menilai kondisi penerapan e-learning dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilannya dengan menggunakan model sistem informasi DeLone dan McLean. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur dengan mahasiswa dan dosen menjadi responden penelitian. Pengumpulan sampel dilakukan dengan metode convenience sampling. Data dari 300 responden kemudian dianalisis dengan Partial Least Square. Hasilnya adalah kualitas informasi, kualitas sistem, dan kualitas layanan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pengguna. Kualitas layanan dan kualitas informasi berpengaruh positif terhadap penggunaan. Penggunaan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pengguna, dan penggunaan serta kepuasan pengguna berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil bersih. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah UT telah mengimplementasikan e-learning secara menyeluruh dengan tingkat keberhasilan tinggi. Keberhasilan tersebut dilihat secara teknis yang tercermin dari kualitas sistem dan kualitas layanan. Secara efektifitas, keberhasilan tercermin dari penggunaan sistem, kepuasan pengguna, dan hasil bersih. Beberapa implikasi dari penelitian ini kemudian disajikan sebagai usulan bagi strategi pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan e-learning di UT yang lebih baik lagi.Kata kunci: DeLone dan McLean, e-learning, PLS, sistem informasi, Universitas Terbuka

Abstract

E-learning is a learning system that uses information systems and internet and intranet technology. E-learning is one of the learning tools in the era of the technological revolution 4.0 which is one of the programs of the Ministry of Higher Education Research. Higher education institutions in Indonesia have used e-learning in learning activities. This study aims to evaluate, and analyze the factors that influence the successful use of e-learning in the Faculty of Engineering. Respondent in this Research consisted of 330 people consisting of students and lecturers of the Faculty of Engineering who use e-learning. Sampling is done by accidental sampling method. The model used in the study is the successful model of Delone and McLean using descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Models (SEM) analysis using SMARTPLS 2.0. The results showed the high level of success in using e-learning at Engineering Faculty at Riau University in semantic succes level, then technical success level, and effectiveness success level. Abstract

Technological changes impacts changes in behavior and work systems carried out by the organization. The company's investment in new technology should be able to increase revenue, but PT XYZ's revenue growth tends to be stagnant. Therefore, the central management designs an assessment measure that could be used to evaluate a unit's performance. This study aimed to analyze the differences in the international roaming unit's performance due to technological changes using the learning & development, customers, internal business processes, and financial approach. Also, it aimed to initiate recommendations to improve the performance of international roaming units due to technological changes. The data used were secondary data from internal companies, while the methods used were descriptive, Balanced Scorecard (BSC), and paired test. The result obtained was that security criteria had a real difference in the impact of technology adoption on the learning & development indicator. There were significant differences in the business process indicator due to technological change. There was no significant difference in the impact of technology adoption in terms of the customer and financial indicators. Abstract

Talent management is a dynamic and comprehensive process for developing the highest potential employees in an organization through direct and integrated development. To increase revenue and capabilities according to the company's portfolio in the telecommunications sector, especially in digital services, the company initiated a talent management program in the form of an internal corporate start-up program. The internal corporate start-up program is an initiative program that aims to capture and accelerate digital business innovation from employees. However, the evaluation process is still focused on the produced products' business aspects, not on the human resources aspect. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the relationship between talent management programs and the improvement of company human resources (especially aspects of corporate culture and employee performance). Corporate culture is an important factor because the internal corporate start-up program is one way to encourage a culture of innovation in the corporate environment. The samples used were saturated samples, in which the population was all employees who were members of the internal corporate start-up program, 55 employees located in Jakarta. The data processing and analysis method used was structural equation modeling-partial least square (SEM-PLS). SEM-PLS analysis results showed that corporate culture directly affected employee performance and acted as a mediating variable between talent management and employee performance. Abstract

The hypermarket business in Indonesia has been declining for 5 years. This study aims to analyze the condition of hypermarket retail in Indonesia through demographic analysis. This descriptive study uses research measuring instrument using a Likert scale questionnaire 1–5, the number of samples is 660. The new concept of retail organizational performance, not only involves marketing aspects: service quality, customer trust, and customer loyalty but also includes organizational capability variables as variables that affect retail business performance; Hypermarket studies cover a national scope in contrast to other retail studies which are only locally specific. The results showed that the characteristics of hypermarket customers in Indonesia are; The majority of women are married, have a bachelor/undergraduate education, age range 46-55 years, live in the Jabodetabek area, work as private employees, monthly expenditures are Rp10,000,100– Rp12,500,000, the number of visits in a year to hypermarkets is 7–10 times on average and 11–14 times, and hypermart stores are the most visited. Hypermarket conditions: service quality and organizational capabilities are in the criteria of both low borderline to moderate, customer trust, customer loyalty, and business performance in moderate conditions. Abstract

Grasberg post mining land of PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) has the opportunity to become an attractive ecotourism location. The objectives of this study are (1) Analyze current business models. (2) Analyze internal and external factors that affect the post-mining Grasberg ecotourism business model. (3) Design a verified business model (BMC-1) by considering internal and external analysis. (4) Formulation of strategies and policy priorities for post-mining Grasberg ecotourism development. The research method used was AHP, BMC, PESTEL and VRIO. The results showed that the current business model with several initial indicators for each of the 9 elements of the block model. Internal factors that have a sustainable competitive advantage are location, tourism potential, supporting facilities and facilities, the ability to manage mining tourism, the ability to work in teams, the ability to produce innovation and creativity. External factors that affect the business model, political aspects are influenced by regime change which then affects the share ownership portion as well as cabinet changes as well as the security stability factor. The design of the WTG (Grasberg Mine Tourism) business model resulted in a verified BMC with the addition of indicators for the nine elements of the model. The priority of developing WTG policies focuses on alternative development of tourism services, participation of indigenous peoples, management of activities and coordination of indigenous peoples. The conclusion of this research is to be able to go to the commercial tourism industry, WTG managers need to focus on the key activity elements, the value proposition element, the key resource elements, and the key partner element. Abstract

BB-Pascapanen website is an official website of Balai Besar Pascapanen Bogor whose mission is to be able to integrate information as a research institute producing technology and innovation of agricultural post-harvest that supports the realization of food sovereignty and farmers' welfare. Based on the regulation and to accommodate those missions the website has been developed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality of the BB-Pascapanen website through a 2QCV3Q model. This model was chosen because it has a multi-party approach involving three actors in the development of a website, website owner, web developer and user which will make an analysis of website quality management implemented more detail. The results of the analysis show from institution and web developer point of view that the feasibility dimension needs performance improvement. While the other dimensions from user point of view that need to be improved are the dimension of identity (attributes of website uniqueness, Impressum distinctness), content (attribute of information detail and accuracy), services (attribute of correspondence feature), locations (attribute of availability of Link, URL easy to remember, easy searching in website, addresses written in website exists in google map, hotline), and usability (attribute of layout structure, orientation navigation and response, download time).

Abstract

Background: The increasing usage and development of e-commerce in Indonesia, demands competition between e-commerce that exists. To be successful e-commerce should be balanced with a good information system. Some clinical research has established what factors that affected the success, including DeLone and McLean. According to their e-commerce success model, there are six variables that affect e-commerce success, system quality, information quality, service quality, use, user satisfaction, and net benefitObjective: The study aims to analyze the relationship between system quality, information quality and service quality to user satisfaction and use. In addition, the study aims to analyze the relationship between user satisfaction and use to a net benefit.Methods: This study draws on the DeLone and McLean Model of Information System (IS) success model. It is a quantitative study that was conducted in the form of a survey of 110 users of each Lazada, Bukalapak, and Shopee users.Results: By applying DeLone and McLean model, this findings confirmed four hypotheses were significant in Bukalapak, Lazada, and Shopee.Conclusion:There were significant effect between the system quality on user satisfaction, service quality on use, service quality on user satisfaction and user satisfaction on net benefits. Meanwhile, system quality had insignificant effect to use and also information quality to use in Bukalapak, Lazada, and Shopee.Keywords: DeLone and McLean model,E-Commerce Success, Information System Success Measurement, IS Success Model

Abstract

Software defect prediction is a practical approach to improve the quality and efficiency of time and costs for software testing by focusing on defect modules. The defect prediction software dataset naturally has a class imbalance problem with very few defective modules compared to non-defective modules. Class imbalance can reduce performance from classification. In this study, we applied the Neural Networks Based Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) to overcome class imbalances in the six NASA datasets. Neural Network based on SMOTE is a combination of Neural Network and SMOTE with each hyperparameters that are optimized using random search. The results use a nested 5-cross validation show increases Bal by 25.48% and Recall by 45.99% compared to the original Neural Network. We also compare the performance of Neural Network based SMOTE with SMOTE + Traditional Machine Learning Algorithm. The Neural Network based SMOTE takes first place in the average rank.

Abstract

Layanan tugas akhir mahasiswa secara online melalui smartphone (android) di Universitas Indraprasta PGRI (Unindra) belum ada, sedangkan jumlah lulusan setiap tahunnya cukup banyak sehingga agak merepotkan staf administrasi dalam melayani mahasiswa yang akan menyusun skripsi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mengurus administrasi tugas akhir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D), Metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu, dan menguji keefektifan produk tersebut (Sugiyono, 2013: 297). Hasil yang diharapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah agar mahasiswa yang akan menyusun skripsi lebih mudah dalam proses tugas akhirnya, yaitu dengan mobile phone dapat melakukan administrasi tugas akhir sehingga tidak repot-repot lagi ke kampus dalam proses administrasi tugas akhir. Proses administrasi yaitu dimulai dari pengajuan judul, pembimbingan, jadwal ujian sampai kepada hasil ujian tugas akhir, baik dari sisi mahasiswa maupun dosen pembimbing yang lebih dimudahkan dengan fasilitas ini. Semoga rancangan sistem ini dapat diimplementasikan di Universitas Indraprasta PGRI (Unindra) sehingga dapat menigkatkan kinerja operasional perguruan tinggi
