Abstract

Labor pain is a problem that mothers complain about in normal labor. Some of these pains often make mothers frustrated and desperate so some of them have alternative actions such as Sectio Caesarea surgery to avoid suffering from pain in labor. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Inflatable Method on the Pain Scale of Stage I Labor. Methodology: This study used a quantitative approach with the Quasi-Experimental method using the Pre-Post Test with Control Group design. The population of this study consisted of first-time laboring mothers who fit the sampling criteria using the accidental sampling technique, with a sample size of 54 respondents. The analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Mann-Whitney Test. The data collection instrument is observation through the Numeric Rating Scale format. Results: it was found that the average pain scale of laboring mothers before the intervention of the Blow-Off Method was 6.89 and after the intervention of the Blow-Off Method was 4.89. The results of the statistical tests showed that the blow-off method affected the Pain Scale of Labor Period I (p = 0.000). This research is expected to be used by respondents in the process of childbirth with minimal trauma. Conclusion: There is a decrease in pain levels in the intervention group and control group after treatment with a value of p <0.05

Abstract

Relatively few farmers use rubber seeds. This is due to the lack of public knowledge regarding the potential of rubber seeds themselves. Rubber seeds tend to be left scattered on plantation land even though the nutritional content of rubber seeds is quite high, especially carbohydrates, proteins and fats which can be used as food. Tanjung Menang Village, South Prabumulih District, Prabumulih City, South Sumatra, Indonesia is one of the villages whose people's main pursuits are rubber plantations. The implementation method used is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). During the implementation of this PKM, observation, socialization and practice of processing rubber seeds into crackers and dancing packaging were carried out.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a kidney care monitoring book for Diabetes Mellitus patients in the working areas of several Health Centers in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The method used is the research and development method with a descriptive research type. Limited trials were conducted in the working areas of several Health Centers in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The instruments used were validation questionnaires and assessment questionnaires for the feasibility of the Monitoring book by material experts and media experts. Data analysis used a Likert scale that was expressed as a percentage to determine the level of feasibility of the monitoring book. The results of the study showed that the product trial was conducted by two experts, namely material experts and media experts. Material experts with a very valid category with a feasibility percentage of 93.33% and media experts with a very valid category with a feasibility percentage of 92.30%. So that the product is feasible for small-scale trials, conclusion, Based on the feasibility test by material experts and media experts, the kidney care monitoring book is declared feasible to be continued in small-scale trials. Abstract

This research is motivated by the need to improve motor coordination and physical fitness in young children through a fun and interactive approach. The aim of this research is to develop and test the effectiveness of the game-based Zumba kids model in improving physical fitness and gross motor skills in children aged 6-8 years. The research method used is a quantitative research method with an experimental design. This research involved two groups, namely the experimental group who took part in the game-based zumba kids program, and the control group who took part in conventional physical activity. Results: Based on independent t-test calculations using SPSS, it is known that the t value is 15.6 and the 2-tailed significance value is 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that there is a significant difference in scores between the experimental group and the control group so it can be said that there is a significant difference between the control and experimental groups in the game-based zumba kids training model for early childhood 6-8. The conclusion of this research is that the zumba kids model is based on the game and is effective in improving physical fitness and gross motor skills in early childhood. This model can be an attractive alternative to physical education programs in schools and can be applied in various child education settings.

Abstract

This research is one form of effort to show evidence of the relationship between mathematics and culture, especially on the subject of geometry, as well as to show the public that culture has an attachment to mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine the construction process of the Minangkabau Gadang house and the geometric concepts contained therein. This study used qualitative research methods to describe the rules of cultural wisdom in building Gadang houses and the geometric concepts inside. With literature studies and observations of Gadang houses West Sumatera. The results of this study indicate that the construction of this traditional house turns out to be unwittingly using mathematical concepts to adapt to the environmental conditions in which it  was built so that it does not only look at the aesthetics and comfort of living but also the security that the residents of the house get. Of course, it will be different in each regional condition and traditional house.

Abstract

Science has made a major contribution in advancing human civilization. However, it is important to recognize that science has inherent limitations. This limitation arises from the scientific method which relies on empirical observation and experimentation, making it difficult to study phenomena that are subjective or spiritual in nature. In addition, science is also limited in predicting random or complex events. The implications of these limitations of science are far-reaching, ranging from science's inability to answer questions about the meaning of life to difficulties in making ethical decisions involving technology. A deep understanding of the limitations of science can help society to appreciate the role of science in life while remaining aware of the importance of other values ​​such as religion, arts and humanities. In this way, humans can build a more holistic and balanced world view

Abstract

Upaya melindungi kegiatan UMKM dari perilaku perdagangan yang tidak sehat, diperlukannya etika bisnis islam dan kualitas produk dalam melaksanakan penjualannya. Tujuan penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh etika bisnis Islam dan kualitas produk terhadap peningkatan penjualan UMKM dan Online Shop pada penjualan perabotan rumah tangga di daerah Musi Banyuasin tepatnya di kecamatan sungai lilin. Adapun Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode kuantitatif yang digunakan untuk meneliti pada populasi atau sampel tertentu, teknik pengambilan sampel pada umumnya dilakukan secara random, pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian, analisis data dengan bantuan software SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian ini Menunjukkan bahwa dari 80 sampel yang terbagi menjadi 2 yaitu 40 sampel pelanggan offline dan 40 sampel pelanggan online memberikan pengaruh pada penerapan Etika Bisnis Islam memberikan pengaruh dengan bukti uji t sig = 0,009 α (0,05) dan memberikan pengaruh pada kualitas produk dengan bukti uji t sig = 0,007 α (0,05) terhadap peningkatan penjualan. Maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa Etika Bisnis Islam dan Kualitas Produk berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Peningkatan Penjualan UMKM dan Onlineshop perabotan rumah tangga

Abstract

Background: Anxiety is physiological during labor, resulting in increased sympathetic nerve activity and increased catecholamines secretion. Excessive catecholamine secretion reduces blood flow to the placenta, limits oxygen supply, and slows uterine contractions, which can slow down labor. To reduce the risk of complications, anxiety must be addressed. One of them is the provision of binaural beat music therapy and rose aromatherapy. Objective: to determine the effect of alpha pattern beat binaural music therapy and rose aromatherapy on anxiety levels in laboring women in active phase I. Methods: The design of this study was a quasi-experimental Two-group of pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study consisted of 60 respondents using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was the STAI Questionnaire (Stait-Trait Anxiety Inventory). The data analysis technique used the Chi-Square test. Results: Obtained p-value of 0.02<0,005. Hence, there was an effect of the combination of alpha binaural beat music therapy and rose aromatherapy on the level of labor anxiety in the first stage of the active phase. Conclusion: The combination of alpha pattern binaural beat music therapy and rose aromatherapy affects reducing the level of labor anxiety in the first stage of the active phase.

Abstract

Background: The cervical cancer poses a significant global health threat with a noteworthy prevalence rate. Early detection through Acetic Acid Visual Inspection (IVA) has proven effective in reducing mortality rates and improving patient prognosis. However, the implementation of this early detection method stil faces challenges. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the implementation of VIA in the province of Jambi and devise improvement strategies. Method: A mixed-method approach was carried out, combining quantitative analysis through the assessment of Primary Health Centers (Puskesmas) and qualitative analysis through interviews with stakeholders. Results: The evaluation of IVA implementation reveals positive assessments in input (54.8% excellent, 37% good) and process (72.6% excellent, 27.4% good). There was variations in output were observed with 58.9% excellent, 21.9% good, 13.7% fair, and 5.5% unsatisfactory. However, improvements were still needed in input quality and program implementation to enhance overall output results. Conclusion: It is recommended to increase regional monitoring efforts, cooperation and partnerships, participation of community leaders, mass outreach and campaigns, increased budget allocation and supervision Keywords: Cervical Cancer; Early Detection; Evaluation Strategy

Abstract

This study aims to describe the traditional dengkak game in stimulating early childhood development in Sukaramai Village, Sungai Laur District, Ketapang Regency. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative research form. Sources of data in this study were the community, parents, PAUD teachers and children aged 5-6 years in Sukaramai Village, Sungai Laur District, Ketapang Regency. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that: 1. Dengkak traditional games in developing the potential of early childhood in the aspect of religious moral values there is the ability to behave well, get used to behaving well, sportsmanship, respect and honesty, accustom children to express gratitude, 2. Dengkak traditional games in development the potential of early childhood on the physical motoric aspect includes gross and fine motor skills, 3. Dengkak's traditional games develop the potential of early childhood on the cognitive aspect, there are learning and problem solving abilities, logical thinking, and symbolic thinking 4. Dengkak's traditional games develop potential of early childhood in the aspect of language there is the ability to understand language and express language, 5. Dengkak traditional games in developing early childhood potential in the social-emotional aspect there is the ability of self-awareness, a sense of responsibility for oneself and others, and prosocial behavior, 6. Dengkak traditional games in developing the potential of early childhood in the artistic aspects of the ability to draw various forms. Thus, the traditional dengkak game has the potential to develop aspects of early childhood in Sukaramai Village, Sungai Laur District, Ketapang Regency.
