Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) merupakan tahap penting dalam membentuk karakter dan keterampilan dasar anak yang akan menentukan perkembangan mereka di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dan keterampilan abad 21 diterapkan dalam pembelajaran PAUD. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan mengkaji literatur terkini dari berbagai sumber akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan nilai karakter seperti tanggung jawab, kejujuran, kerja sama, dan kepedulian harus diinternalisasi melalui kegiatan belajar yang aktif dan bermakna. Selain itu, keterampilan abad 21 seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi perlu dikembangkan secara bersamaan agar anak siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Guru berperan penting sebagai teladan dan fasilitator dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung kedua aspek tersebut. Kendala utama yang ditemukan adalah kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan karakter dan keterampilan abad 21, sehingga pelatihan dan kebijakan kurikulum yang fleksibel sangat dibutuhkan.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data dari World Health Organization (WHO) kejadian Ikterus di Negara berkembang seperti Indonesia sekitar 50% bayi baru lahir normal mengalami perubahan warna kulit, mukosa dan wajah mengalami kekuningan (ikterus) dan 80% pada bayi kurang bulan (premaur) (WHO 2019). Menurut United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF) terdapat 1,8% kematian bayi yang disebabkan oleh hiperbilirubin dari seluruh kasus perinatal yang terjadi di dunia. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teknik total populasi yaitu teknik penentuan sampel bila semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Dengan memilih semua populasi menjadi sampel, maka jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 30  ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 0-14 hari di Dusun I Desa Sei Mencirim Kecamatan Sunggal Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dilihat pada 30 data pengetahuan ibu terhadap pencegahan ikterus fisiologis pada bayi usia 0-14 hari, mayoritas berpengetahuan kurang sebanyak 23 orang (76,7 %), dan minoritas berpengetahuan cukup sabanyak 3 orang (13,3%). Dari hasil penelitian berdasarkan sikap ibu dengan pencegahan ikterus fisiologis pada bayi usia 0-14 hari mayoritas bersikap negative sebanyak 22 orang (73,3%) dan minoritas ibu yang bersikap positif sebanyak 8 orang (26,7%). Terdapat hubungan pengetahuan ibu terhadap pencegahan ikterus fisiologis pada bayi usia 0-14 di Dusun I Desa Sei Mencirim Tahun 2022 dengan hasil analisis dari uji statistik Chi-Square yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai p value =0,23 (p<0,05). Terdapat hubungan sikap ibu terhadap pencegahan ikterus fisiologis pada bayi usia 0-14 hari di Dusun I Desa Sei Mencirim Tahun 2022 dengan hasil analisis dari uji statistik Chi-Square yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai p value =0,32 (p<0,05). Bagi desa Sei Mencirim Berharap supaya tenaga kesehatan khususnya bagian kebidanan agar dapat mengembangkan pelayanan kesehatan khususnya bagi ibu-ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 0-14 hari dan memberikan penyuluhan tentang ikterus fisiologis pada bayi usia 0-14 hariKata Kunci : Pengetahuan, Sikap, Pencegahan Ikterus FisiologisBased on data from the World Health Organization (WHO), the incidence of jaundice in developing countries such as Indonesia is about 50% of normal newborns experiencing changes in skin color, mucosa and face experiencing yellowness (jaundice) and 80% in preterm infants (WHO 2019). According to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) there are 1.8% of infant deaths caused by hyperbilirubin from all perinatal cases that occur in the world. The sampling technique used in the study is the total population technique, which is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. By selecting all populations as samples, the number of samples in this study were 30 mothers who had babies aged 0-14 days in Dusun I, Sei Mencharim Village, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency. From the results of the study, it can be seen that there were 30 data on maternal knowledge on the prevention of physiological jaundice in infants aged 0-14 days, the majority had less knowledge as many as 23 people (76.7 %), and the minority had sufficient knowledge as many as 3 people (13.3%). From the results of the study based on the mother's attitude with the prevention of physiological jaundice in infants aged 0-14 days the majority were negative as many as 22 people (73.3%) and the minority of mothers who had a positive attitude were 8 people (26.7%). There is a relationship between mother's knowledge on the prevention of physiological jaundice in infants aged 0-14 in Dusun I Sei Menistrim Village in 2022 with the results of the analysis of the Chi-Square statistical test which shows that the p value = 0.23 (p <0.05). There is a relationship between the mother's attitude towards the prevention of physiological jaundice in infants aged 0-14 days in Dusun I, Sei Menistrim Village in 2022 with the results of the analysis of the Chi-Square statistical test which shows that the p value = 0.32 (p <0.05). For the village of Sei Menistrim Hope that health workers, especially the midwifery department, can develop health services, especially for mothers who have babies aged 0-14 days and provide counseling about physiological jaundice in infants aged 0-14 daysKeywords: Knowledge, Attitude, Prevention of Physiological Jaundice

Abstract

Language functions not only as a means of communication but also as a medium for social integration and adaptation in a linguistically diverse society. Slang represents a form of language commonly used by teenagers, often characterized by a sense of exclusivity and informality. These expressions are typically brief, trendy, and easy to remember. This study aims to identify the types of slang frequently used by Indonesian teenagers, uncover their meanings, and explore the reasons behind their use. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research relies on document analysis with listening and note-taking techniques. Findings indicate that slang is widely adopted among teenagers due to its simplicity, memorability, and ability to foster a relaxed, familiar atmosphere within peer interactions

Abstract

Fun Tutors is a tutoring business specialised for elementary school students and kindergarten children. This journal describes the Fun Tutors business concept as an innovative approach to future education. Fun Tutors is a type of tutoring that brings together education and entrepreneurship to create an innovative learning environment with engaging and fun learning. This journal examines the challenges and opportunities for the implementation of Fun Tutors Business in education, using a qualitative approach and direct observation. The findings observed problems with learning in education and problems with existing tutoring centres so as to change to more innovative teaching methods to prepare students for the demands of the future, and create tutoring centres that have effective and innovative methods. The feasibility analysis of the market and marketing aspects of Fun Tutors tutoring shows a very good prospect for the development of the tutoring business. Bimbel Fun Tutors has experienced teachers and experts in their fields. And the result of financial analysis using payback period shows that Fun Tutors tutoring takes 2 months and 8 days to return its capital.

Abstract

General Background: Mathematics education plays a critical role in shaping logical and spatial reasoning, yet many students struggle with abstract topics like three-dimensional geometry. Specific Background: In SMP Muhammadiyah Pagar Alam, learning about cuboids is hindered by teacher-centered methods and the absence of visual learning media. Knowledge Gap: Despite the growing adoption of video-based instruction, limited studies assess the classroom application of low-cost tools like the InShot app for spatial topics at the junior high level. Aims: This study aims to examine how educational videos using the InShot application contribute to student achievement in understanding cuboid material. Results: Using a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design, the study found that students taught with educational videos achieved significantly higher posttest scores than those taught conventionally, with a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 1.24). Novelty: The research highlights a replicable, cost-effective digital approach tailored for under-resourced classrooms, showing strong cognitive and participatory benefits. Implications: Findings support the integration of short, targeted videos in mathematics instruction and align with Indonesia’s “Merdeka Belajar” initiative, offering practical strategies for enhancing classroom engagement and comprehension.ZHighlight : Posttest scores in the experimental group were significantly higher than the control. Educational video helped students grasp abstract cuboid concepts visually. Large effect size (Cohen’s d = 1.24) reflects strong learning improvements. Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to improve digital literacy understanding and skills among teachers at SD Aisyiyah 1 Kauman, Pagar Alam. Based on initial observations, it was found that most teachers had not yet optimally understood the use of digital technology in the learning process. Therefore, this training was designed using a participatory approach, actively involving teachers in each stage of the activity, including interactive lectures, workshops, and group discussions. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in the teachers’ understanding of digital literacy concepts, mastery of educational applications, and ability to design and implement technology-based learning. This activity is expected to serve as an initial step toward building a culture of digital learning in elementary schools and supporting educational transformation that is adaptive to the developments of the modern era.

Abstract

Students in the era of school digitalization very much need numeracy skills. Numeracy skills are related to solving a problem. Adobe Flash media is suitable for solving a problem with the help of interactive animated videos. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of mathematics learners using Adobe Flash Media, which was assisted by interactive animated videos on students' numeracy skills. The research method used is quantitative in the form of a true experiment. The sample in this study were students in grades VIII8 and VIII7, who were selected randomly. The data collection techniques used were documentation and tests. The data analysis techniques used were normality tests, homogeneity tests and independent sample tests. The results of the study showed that the t count value > t table where t count = 7.602 and t table = 1.6905. This means that there is a significant difference in the average numeracy ability of students between the experimental group and the control group.

Abstract

Students experience difficulties in understanding the properties of flat shapes because learning is monotonous, so there is a need for innovation in learning flat shape material. This research aims to produce a learning trajectory for flat building materials using the context of besemah batik for elementary school students. This research uses a design research method which consists of three research steps, namely preparing for the experiment, the design experiment, and retrospective analysis. Data collection was carried out by providing student activity sheets and interviews. Data is analyzed by reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. The results of the research show that learning the trajectory of flat shapes using the context of besemah batik consists of four activities, namely 1) observe the besemah batik pattern, 2) redraw the besemah batik pattern, 3) writing down the characteristics of flat shapes. based on the pattern image on besemah batik, and 4) write definitions of various flat shapes and represent various flat shapes in the drawing. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the resulting learning trajectory can help students understand flat shape material.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the influence of the use of problem-based learning models (PBL) combined with the Quizizz application on learning outcomes and student motivation in trigonometry material in class X of SMA Muhammadiyah Pagaralam. This study uses an experimental method with a Pretest-Posttest design Control Group. The research sample consisted of students of class X MIPA 3 as the experimental class and students of class X MIPA 2 as the control class, each consisting of 36 students. Data were collected through test and documentation methods using descriptive questions as instruments. The results of the study showed that students who learned using the Problem Based learning model Learning combined with the Quizizz application has better learning outcomes than students who follow conventional learning. This shows that the innovative learning approach is able to increase the effectiveness of learning in trigonometry material.

Abstract

This study aims to examine strategies for combating the potential for corruption through the implementation of anti-corruption education within educational institutions, including both schools and universities. The research adopts a qualitative approach, with data obtained from various sources such as books, academic journals, scholarly articles, and other relevant literature. The primary objective of this study is to reinforce and internalize anti-corruption values among the younger generation, particularly within formal educational settings. This initiative is driven by the persistent prevalence of corruption in Indonesia, which remains a significant national issue. Several contributing factors to corrupt behavior have been identified, including individual moral failings, familial and societal influences, economic and political conditions, and organizational weaknesses. Anti-corruption education is recognized as an effective preventive measure, which should begin by instilling ethical values and integrity from an early stage. This is especially crucial for university students, who are regarded as future leaders and bear the responsibility of upholding national development and governance standards.
