Abstract

Keterbatasan keterampilan guru dan siswa tentang kemampuan literasi digital dalam pembelajaran serta sulitnya mendapatkan aliran listrik sebagai sumber energi menjalankan berbagai teknologi pembelajaran menjadi permasalahan serius di UPT SPF SDN 41 Sabangko, Pulau Sabangko, Pangkajaene Kepulauan. Oleh karena itu, melalui program pengabdian masyarakat, tim dosen dari Universitas Bosowa melakukan instalasi PLTS dan berbagai pelatihan kepada para guru dan masyarakat di Pulau Sabangko. Adapun metode dalam program ini pelatihan dengan model pembelajaran langsung yang dibagi dalam 3 pelatihan yaitu (1) Pelatihan Instalasi PLTS Kapasitas 400 Wp/2 kW, (2) Pelatihan Pemasangan dan Penggunaan Teknologi Pembelajaran dan (3) Pelatihan dan Penerapan game edukasi serta animasi pembelajaran. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 7 guru dan 20 siswa dari SDN 41 Sabangko, dan beberapa kelompok masyarakat di Pulau Sabangko. Dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini ini, berdasarkan hasil observasi sebagian besar peserta (guru dan masyarakat) telah mampu melakukan instalasi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya dan melakukan pemasangan LCD serta mengoperasikan laptop yang berisi game edukasi dan animasi pembelajaran

Abstract

The use of games has been widely used by elementary school students, but the games used are more entertainment in nature and do not have educational content. This training aims to implement educational games and find out students' perceptions of implementing educational games developed using the GDevelop application. The training participants were fourth grade students at SDN Lariang Bangi 1, Makassar City, for the 2022/2023 Academic Year, totaling 34 respondents. The training uses Goad model. Data collection techniques in the training used are questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of this training show that most of the students have been able to use educational games well, besides that students are very enthusiastic and motivated by the implementation of the educational games provided. the application questions in the game can help students to remember the material presented by the teacher. In addition, students also feel challenged when working on questions given by the teacher with a duration of time

Abstract

This study evaluated the effectiveness of a solar-powered Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) integrated with a water filtration system in improving water quality. This study employed an experimental approach, comparing influent and effluent water quality to determine treatment efficiency. The results showed significant improvements in water parameters, with pollutant removal efficiencies of 31.54% for Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and 15.22% for pH reduction. The Dissolved Oxygen (DO) increased by 29.41% due to enhanced aeration. However, Electrical Conductivity (EC) increased by 46.07%, indicating the presence of dissolved ions post-treatment. The anaerobic-aerobic process effectively degrades organic pollutants, supported by bacterial activity, while the filtration system enhances water clarity and odor reduction. Despite these positive outcomes, the study has limitations, particularly the lack of Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) measurements, which restricts a comprehensive assessment of organic pollution removal. Future research should incorporate these parameters to provide a more holistic evaluation of wastewater treatment performance.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) implement the Guided Discovery Learning Model Assisted Video and Interactive Simulation (GDM-VIS) in physics learning on the concept of statistical fluids; (2) identify the relationship between students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This research is a pre-experimental research employing One Shoot Case Study design. The learning model and instruments that have been developed were used in a class of 38 students before the distance learning was applied. The data of learning motivation were obtained through motivation questionnaire, while learning outcome data were obtained by means of a conceptual understanding test instrument. To see whether there is a correlation between students’ motivation and learning outcomes, the Bivariate Pearson analysis with SPSS was used. Based on the results of the analysis, the value obtained based on the value or relationship (R) was 0.613. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.375, meaning that the effect of learning motivation with the application of GDM-VIS toward concept understanding is 37.5%. Based on the Output Coefficients, decision making in a simple regression test, and based on the significance value of the Coefficients table, it was obtained that the significance value was 0.00 <0.05, which means that the application of the Guided Discovery Learning Model Assisted with Video and Interactive Simulation affects the students’ concept understanding. This study implies that the learning using simulations with systematic stages can improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan respon guru dan siswa terhadap implementasi aplikasi pembelajaran offline berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) pada materi Kegiatan Ekonomi di SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari keterbatasan infrastruktur internet yang masih menjadi kendala dalam pemerataan pendidikan digital, sehingga dibutuhkan solusi alternatif berupa aplikasi luring yang praktis dan adaptif. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kasus yang melibatkan seorang guru IPS dan 34 siswa kelas VII. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi hasil kerja siswa berupa LKPD digital dan kuis pretest-posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi offline berbasis AI mendapat respon positif dari guru maupun siswa. Guru menilai aplikasi ini efisien, mudah diakses melalui peramban tanpa instalasi, serta bermanfaat sebagai alternatif buku paket dan LKS, termasuk dalam mempermudah dokumentasi hasil belajar melalui format PDF. Siswa merasa lebih fokus dan antusias karena aplikasi dijalankan dalam mode offline, dilengkapi simulasi sederhana, serta mendukung diskusi kelompok melalui LKPD digital. Kendati demikian, ditemukan kendala berupa sebagian siswa yang belum konsisten mematuhi instruksi penggunaan mode pesawat, yang mencerminkan perlunya peran guru dalam memberikan scaffolding untuk menanamkan disiplin digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa aplikasi pembelajaran offline berbasis AI berpotensi menjadi inovasi penting dalam mendukung pemerataan pendidikan, meskipun masih diperlukan pengembangan lanjutan dan uji implementasi yang lebih luas. This study aims to describe teacher and student responses to the implementation of an offline learning application assisted by artificial intelligence (AI) in the topic of Economic Activities at SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak. The research background is based on the limited internet infrastructure that remains a barrier to equitable digital education, thus requiring an alternative solution in the form of a practical and adaptive offline application. A qualitative descriptive case study was employed, involving one Social Studies teacher and 34 seventh-grade students. Data were collected through classroom observations, teacher and student interviews, as well as documentation of student work using digital worksheets (LKPD) and pretest–posttest quizzes. The findings indicate that the offline AI-based application received positive responses from both teacher and students. The teacher considered the application efficient, accessible through a browser without installation, and useful as an alternative to textbooks and printed worksheets, while also facilitating systematic documentation of learning outcomes in PDF format. Students reported feeling more focused and enthusiastic, as the application operated in offline mode, included simple simulations to aid understanding, and supported interactive group discussions through digital worksheets. However, a challenge was found in the inconsistency of some students in following the offline instructions, highlighting the need for teacher scaffolding to instill digital discipline. This study concludes that AI-assisted offline learning applications have significant potential to support equitable education, although further development and broader implementation are required.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning tools with Guided Discovery Model Assisted by Interactive Simulation (GDM-IS) on static fluid concepts. This research uses the 4D development method to produce learning tools but only carries out 3 stages, namely Define, Design and Development. At the development stage, validation is carried out on the GDM-IS learning tools that have been developed which include RPP, Student Worksheets (LKPD), Learning Media. Limited trial using a One Shoot Case Study research design. In this design, the learning instruments that have been developed are used in one class as a sample of 38 students. Data on science process skills was taken through observation by two observers. Based on the analysis of the validation results, the assessment of the RPP, LKPD and media is in a percentage above 80% which is in the valid (good) category.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of portfolio assessment as an alternative evaluation instrument in the Basic Physics course. The main focus of this study is to analyze the quality of experimental reports and student reflection notes as part of the portfolio, as well as to explore the role of portfolios in supporting more meaningful learning processes. The method used is a quantitative descriptive approach, with the research subjects being 60 students of the physics education study program in the Basic Physics course. Data was collected through portfolio documentation, observations, and in-depth interviews. The results of the study show that portfolio assessment allows students to reflect on their understanding of concepts, compile experimental reports systematically, and show cognitive and metacognitive development more clearly. In addition, reflections written by students indicate an increase in critical thinking skills and learning awareness. Portfolio assessment is considered to be able to provide a more comprehensive picture of student learning outcomes compared to conventional evaluations. Therefore, portfolio assessment is recommended as an evaluation alternative that supports process-based learning and strengthening student competencies in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran telah menjadi bagian integral dalam meningkatkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Namun, dalam lingkungan pendidikan dasar di Indonesia, masih terdapat tantangan dalam implementasi teknologi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada tenaga pendidik di UPT SPF SD INPRES Mongisidi Kota Makassar tentang implementasi pembelajaran berbasis digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan praktis yang melibatkan penggunaan perangkat lunak dan perangkat keras yang relevan dengan tujuan tersebut. Selain itu, evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengukur efektivitas pelatihan dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penerapan sistem aquaponik berbasis energi baru terbarukan sebagai sarana pembelajaran IPA dan produk kewirausahaan sekolah merupakan upaya untuk mengintegrasikan konsep keberlanjutan dalam pendidikan dan pengembangan kewirausahaan di tingkat sekolah. PKM ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan menerapkan sistem aquaponik yang memanfaatkan energi baru terbarukan, seperti energi matahari dan energi angin, dalam lingkungan sekolah untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA) dan membangkitkan minat kewirausahaan di kalangan siswa. Hasil dari implementasi sistem aquaponik menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep ekologi, hidroponik, dan akuakultur. Selain itu, penerapan energi terbarukan dalam sistem ini berhasil mengurangi konsumsi energi dari sumber non-terbarukan dan menambah nilai praktis dalam proses pembelajaran. PKM ini juga memberikan peluang bagi siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan kewirausahaan melalui pengelolaan dan pemasaran produk yang dihasilkan oleh sistem aquaponik. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan sistem aquaponik berbasis energi baru terbarukan tidak hanya memberikan manfaat dalam pembelajaran IPA tetapi juga menciptakan peluang kewirausahaan yang bermanfaat bagi siswa. PKM ini terbukti menghasilkan sistem aquaponik berbasis tenaga surya dengan kapasitas 630 net pot yang menjadi pusat pembelajaran IPA (kebun IPA) di SMAN 1 Pinrang. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman guru dan siswa berkaitan dengan budidaya aquaponik berbasis tenaga surya.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi guru-guru di SMAN 1 Pinrang dalam mengoptimalkan penerapan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan media pembelajaran digital di kelas. Penggunaan teknologi AI dalam pendidikan semakin berkembang dan dapat menjadi alat bantu yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, mempersonalisasi materi, serta memberikan umpan balik yang cepat dan akurat kepada siswa. Selain itu, media pembelajaran digital memungkinkan proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif, fleksibel, dan mudah diakses oleh siswa kapan saja. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi 5 tahapan yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan teknis, transfer teknologi, dan evaluasi penerapan AI serta media pembelajaran digital. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap penerapan teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran, serta peningkatan efektivitas dan efisiensi proses belajar-mengajar di kelas. Dampak positif juga dirasakan oleh siswa, terutama dalam hal keterlibatan dan partisipasi aktif mereka selama proses pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pendampingan ini berhasil mendorong integrasi teknologi yang lebih baik dalam lingkungan pendidikan di SMAN 1 Pinrang, serta memberikan model pembelajaran yang lebih modern dan relevan dengan perkembangan zaman. Selain dihasilkannya 37 media pembelajaran digital berbasis AI, juga terjadi peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap penerapan AI dalam dunia pendidikan dengan dengan nilai 0,39 yang berada pada kategori sedang.
