Abstract

Work readiness has an effect on the unemployment rate for Vocational High School (SMK) graduates. Work readiness can be improved by improving learning patterns and tools. This study aims to develop learning aids, test the feasibility and effectiveness of the product. The research design used is the ADDIE Research Development (R&D) design with the stages of Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery and Evaluations. The research site is at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tempel with research subjects of 134 students, 14 teachers of Automotive Engineering Vocational School and 5 automotive industry practitioners. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and tests with interview research instruments, media and product questionnaires and practice test sheets. Android-based student performance aids (Tunersindro) have a very high feasibility of being used in vocational learning. Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of subjective well-being and the factors that influence subjective well-being in senior women. This study was conducted in Yogyakarta and Madura and included retired old women aged 60 years and above. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, specifically through the use of interviews and observation. Data were analyzed using content analysis. Purposive sampling was used as the sampling technique in this study. The results of this study found that the subjective well-being of late adults can be viewed from both cognitive and affective components: life satisfaction, health, productive activities, life enjoyment, and confidence. Also, researchers found adverse effects, such as feelings of loneliness, sadness, and stress. The results of other studies found that religiosity, social relations, leisure time, success, and family support are contributing factors that influence the subjective wellbeing of people in their late adulthood. The results of this study can be used as a basis for developing a gerontological counseling model to develop subjective well-being in senior women

Abstract

The highest unemployment rate in Indonesia is still dominated by SMK graduates. Unemployment occurs because the work readiness of SMK students is low. This study aims to develop an industrial-oriented experiential learning model and test its effectiveness. This study used a research and development (R&D) design from Richey and Klein. The research stages include the stages of needs analysis, internal validation and external validation. The research subjects used were teachers, students majoring in automotive engineering at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Salam and automotive industry practitioners, totaling 44 people. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires and performance tests. Researchers analyzed descriptively to produce conclusions from the feasibility of questionnaires and learning models. After being analyzed, the results of the questionnaire and practical performance tests were categorized to produce conclusions for each instrument. The result of the study show that industrial-oriented experiential learning model is very suitable to be applied to vocational learning. Vocational schools can broadly collaborate with industry, teachers and students gain knowledge and skills according to the needs of the world of work and motivation arises to make industrial replicas of learning infrastructure.

Abstract

Suicide is a global problem. According to the WHO in 2015 more than 800,000 people / year died from suicide. The average number of Indonesians who died from suicide reached 24 per 100,000 inhabitants. at present the suicide case in Gunungkidul shifts to productive age. The increase in suicides in Gunungkidul is a problem that must be dealt with together. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge, and mental health for survivors, families, and communities in Gunungkidul and to prevent rising suicide rates in Gunungkidul. The method applied in this activity is counseling and mentoring. The impact gained is an increase in family and community knowledge about endurance and the role that can be taken in preventing suicide in the surrounding environment, in addition it is expected to restore psychological and spiritual pressure to the victim so as not to commit suicide again.

Abstract

Work problems for millennial employees are increasingly complex and the values accepted by the generation tend to conflict with organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Therefore, this research aimed to create and evaluate a theoretical framework that elucidated the impact of organizational climate on the OCB of millennial workers, with work-life balance as a moderator. A total of 384 millennial employees were obtained using purposive quota sampling. The data obtained were related to organizational climate, OCB, and work-life balance. Additionally, a quantitative method was adopted using data analysis through a structural equation model (SEM) and partial least squares path modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that the proposed model concerning the influence of organizational climate on citizenship behavior, with work-life balance serving as a moderating variable was consistent with empirical evidence. Organizational climate and work-life balance had a positive and highly significant impact on citizenship behavior. Furthermore, work-life balance effectively moderated the relationship between organizational climate and citizenship behavior of millennial employees. The implications of this research suggested that the model served as a valuable reference and could be implemented to address the challenges associated with OCB.

Abstract

Karyawan dalam mencapai kinerja organisasi yang baik tidak hanya melakukan tugas-tugas formal tetapi juga melakukan pekerjaan yang melebihi jobdesknya yang disebut dengan kinerja kontekstual. Ada beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja kontekstual, antara lain pemantauan diri dan dukungan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara pemantauan diri dan dukungan organisasi terhadap kinerja kontekstual. Karakteristik populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan dengan jumlah 61 orang, memiliki masa kerja 1 tahun dan pendidikan minimal S1, dengan rentang usia antara 23-35 tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling yang melibatkan 61 karyawan dari berbagai bidang. Ada tiga skala yang digunakan yaitu skala pemantauan diri sebanyak 24 aitem, skala dukungan organisasi sebanyak 24 aitem, dan skala kinerja kontekstual sebanyak 25 aitem. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan teknik Analisis Regresi menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pemantauan diri dan dukungan organisasi terhadap kinerja kontekstual yang dapat dilihat dengan tingkat signifikansi korelasi p = 0,000 (p < 0,01). Jadi terdapat hubungan positif dan sangat signifikan p = 0,000 (p < 0,01) antara self monitoring dengan kinerja kontekstual dan juga terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan p = 0,017 (p < 0,05) antara dukungan organisasi dengan kinerja kontekstual. Sumbangan efektif pemantauan diri terhadap kinerja kontekstual pegawai sebesar 34,481% dan sumbangan efektif dukungan organisasi terhadap kinerja kontekstual pegawai sebesar 19,189%.

Abstract

One of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic is that many micro businesses have gone bankrupt or even closed their businesses. Micro businesses require entrepreneurial readiness to restart and manage their enterprises effectively. This study aimed to analyze the influence of the model of future orientation and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial readiness in micro-enterprises located in Sleman Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach, focusing on micro-enterprises in Sleman Regency that are members of the 'Sobat PLUT' group in 2022. The sample consisted of 85 under 40 micro-entrepreneurs whose businesses experienced losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The study utilized purposive sampling as its sampling technique. Data collection involved three scales: the entrepreneurial readiness scale, the future orientation scale, and the self-efficacy scale. Data analysis was conducted by testing both the outer and inner models. The analysis technique employed the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using the Smart Partial Least Square (Smart-PLS) 3.2.8 program. The results of this study indicate the formation of a model of entrepreneurial readiness, focusing on future orientation and self-efficacy. Future orientation has a significant favorable influence on the entrepreneurial readiness of micro-entrepreneurs and a very significant positive effect of self-efficacy on their entrepreneurial readiness. The theoretical model developed in this research is a fit model that can serve as a reliable model reference for understanding entrepreneurial readiness.

Abstract

This study investigated the influence of self-efficacy, authoritative parenting, and peer social support on academic stress in full-day senior high school students. The population of this study were all twelfth-grade students from Senior High School X in Lampung, with a total of 330 students. This study involved 140 twelfth-grade students as the participants were selected using a cluster random sampling technique. This study employed an academic stress scale, self-efficacy scale, authoritative parenting scale, and peer social support scale. The data was analyzed by evaluating the outer and inner models. The study employed the Structural Equation Model (SEM) for data analysis using the Smart Partial Least Square 3.3.0 application. The findings of this study include the development of a model of the influence of self-efficacy, authoritative parenting, and peer social support on academic stress that is consistent with empirical data, the absence of an effect of self-efficacy on academic stress, a very significant negative influence between authoritative parenting and academic stress, and a very significant negative influence between peer social support and academic stress. The theoretical model developed in this study is a fit model, which can be used as a valid model reference when addressing academic stress.
