Abstract

The method is a very important learning component to understand by each teacher. Therefore, the success of learning depends on the teaching ability to implement these methods. Application of the right method will speed up the acquisition of results in students. On the other hand, if the application of a method does not match, the results obtained by the student will be slow to achieve. Ummi's method is the Method introduced how to read the Qur'an with tartil. With the use of the Ummi Methods in the learning of the Qur'an, students will be easier on tahsin and memorizing the Qur'an. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Ummi method in the learning of the Qur'an at the TPQ At-Taqwa Hamlet Jurug Village.

Abstract

Bentuk pengembangan profesi yang dilakukan oleh guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Sukoharjo sebagai upaya peningkatan nilai Penetapan Angka Kredit guru adalah mengadakan pelatihan dan pendampingan tentang sub unsur pengembangan profesi. Bentuk  dari kegiatan tersebut adalah Workshop dan Pendampingan Pelaksanaan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran dan Pembuatan Karya Inovatif. Strategi pemberdayaan yang dilakukan pada guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Sukoharjo  adalah: 1) Workshop tentang pelaksanaan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran dan Pembuatan Karya Inovatif. 2) Mengadakan kegiatan pendampingan pelaksanaan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran dan Pembuatan Karya Inovatif. Adapun metode partisipasi yang digunakan dalam Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah Community Based Research (CBR).  Survey yang disampaikan kepada 25 guru yang mengikuti pelatihan menunjukkan data 80% merupakan PNS yaitu sekitar 20 orang. Hal inilah yang menjadi pertimbangan pemilihan subyek dampingan. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan yaitu: Keahlian dan Kesiapan Narasumber 64% pada kategori baik, Kebermanfaatan materi yang disampaikan 72% pada kategori bermanfaat, Kesesuaian pelaksanaan dengan harapa peserta 64% pada kategori sesuai, Bimbingan yang diberikan mudah dimengerti 64% pada kategori mudah, Perlunya bimbingan berkelanjutan 76% pada kategori perlu.

Abstract

Kurikulum madrasah dan pola asuh orang tua berperan penting dalam membangun karakter moral anak. Namun seringkali terdapat kesenjangan antara kurikulum madrasah formal dengan pengaruh lingkungan rumah terhadap proses pendidikan anak. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan dan menyinkronkan kurikulum madrasah dan pola pengasuhan orang tua melalui aktivitas orang tua untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang komprehensif. Penyelenggaraan pengabdian ini memerlukan kerjasama aktif antara madrasah dan keluarga dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan anak. Pendekatan partisipatif dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini melibatkan orang tua dan guru madrasah. Luaran dari pengabdian ini dicapai melalui serangkaian kegiatan orang tua seperti seminar, workshop, dan program mentoring. Kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman orang tua terhadap kurikulum madrasah dan penerapan pola pendidikan yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Akhlakul Karimahh. Anak juga mengalami peningkatan keterampilan sosial, kecerdasan emosional, dan spiritualitas. Memasukkan kurikulum madrasah ke dalam pola pengasuhan anak melalui kegiatan pendidikan dapat menjadi model yang efektif untuk meningkatkan perkembangan karakter anak. Pengabdian ini telah memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pengembangan kurikulum madrasah yang fokus pada pendidikan moral. Implikasi praktisnya dapat membantu lembaga pendidikan dan keluarga menciptakan sinergi antara kurikulum formal dan pola asuh orang tua untuk mendukung pendidikan karakter holistik anak.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat ukhuwah Islamiyah di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Karim Colomadu, Karanganyar, melalui pemanfaatan tradisi Halal bi Halal. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada 20 April 2024 ini melibatkan seluruh komponen madrasah, termasuk siswa, guru, staf, dan orang tua. Melalui serangkaian aktivitas seperti pemaparan materi, diskusi kelompok, role-playing, dan pengenalan platform digital "Ukhuwah Digital", program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan komitmen peserta terhadap implementasi nilai-nilai ukhuwah Islamiyah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Evaluasi awal menunjukkan 85% peserta merasa kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat, dan 90% berkomitmen untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai ukhuwah Islamiyah secara lebih konsisten. Tantangan utama yang teridentifikasi adalah memastikan konsistensi implementasi di luar lingkungan madrasah. Untuk mengatasinya, direkomendasikan pelibatan aktif komite sekolah dan tokoh masyarakat, serta pemanfaatan optimal platform digital. Program ini tidak hanya berhasil memperkuat ikatan persaudaraan di lingkungan madrasah, tetapi juga berpotensi menjadi model yang dapat diadaptasi oleh lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya, berkontribusi pada penguatan ukhuwah Islamiyah dalam skala yang lebih luas.

Abstract

This community service aims to illustrate the implementation of Community Service (PKM) between Mamba'ul 'Ulum Islamic Institute Surakarta and Mojogedang Public High School, Karanganyar Regency. The main focus is on strengthening the Pancasila student profile through religious activities, particularly the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, held on Friday, October 6, 2023. The community service method involves the active participation of students in various spiritual, academic, and social activities. The results indicate that the integration of religious values with Pancasila can shape students with balanced and integral characters. This community service provides a positive contribution to the students' development and strengthens the bond between educational institutions and the community.

Abstract

This study explores teachers’ experiences teaching Physical Education, Sports, and Health (Physical education) in elementary schools, highlighting the challenges and strategies used to overcome them. Physical education is an important part of the elementary education curriculum that aims to develop students’ physical, mental, and social health. However, teachers often face various obstacles, including limited sports facilities, minimal time allocation, and a lack of support from schools and parents. In addition, students’ perceptions that Physical education is a less important subject than other subjects also add to the difficulties in the teaching process. Teachers adopt more creative strategies to overcome these challenges, such as interactive learning approaches, integrating Physical education with other subjects, and utilizing digital technology. Teachers collaborate with other teachers and involve parents and the community in sports activities to increase student participation. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, where data is collected through interviews and direct observation. The results show that despite facing various challenges, Physical education teachers successfully implement innovative strategies that effectively improve the quality of learning. This research is expected to provide useful insights for developing a better Physical education program in the future. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of teacher professional competence on the reading, writing, and arithmetic abilities of grade 3 students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta in the 2023/2024 academic year. Teacher professional competence is a key factor in the learning process, especially at the Elementary School level, where basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are an important foundation for students' academic development. This study adopts a quantitative approach with an analytical survey method, where data in the form of numbers are collected and analyzed statistically. The study was conducted at MI Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta, Laweyan District, Central Java, from August to September 2024, with a population of 86 grade 3 students. From this population, a sample of 34 students or 40% was taken using the simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics through the SPSS program, including calculating the mean, median, mode, and standard deviation. The normality test was carried out using the QQ-plot and Chi Square test to determine the data distribution, followed by hypothesis testing through correlation or regression analysis if the data met the normality assumption. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Teachers' professional competence is in two categories, namely moderate (1.4%) and high (98.6%). 2) The reading, writing and arithmetic abilities of grade 3 students are also in two categories, namely moderate (2.9%) and high (97.1%). 3) Teachers' professional competence has a significant effect on students' reading, writing and arithmetic abilities, as indicated by the sig. value of 0.004 <0.05 and t count 2.986> t table 2.000. The higher the teacher's professional competence, the better the students' reading, writing and arithmetic abilities. This study contributes to the understanding of the relationship between teacher professionalism and students' basic abilities, and can be a reference in improving the quality of education in madrasas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh keikutsertaan anak di TPQ terhadap prestasi belajar PAI di SDN 01 Karang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas V di SDN 01 Karang Tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan rumus Person Product Moment. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Untuk memperoleh data yang benar demi sesuai dengan kesimpulan yang sesuai dengan keadan yang ada dilokasi penelitian. Sebelum melakukan penggolahan data, terlebih dahulu peneliti melakukan uji validitas dan uji reabilitas, agar instrument yang digunakan sudah valid dan sudah reabel sehingga data yang diperoleh bersifat reabel. Setelah memperoleh hasil penelitian, maka data akan dioleh dengan menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Terdapat hubungan antara keikutsertaan anak di TPQ dengan prestasi belajar PAI siswa kelas V SDN 01 Karang dengan hasil analisis perhitungan korelasi product moment yaitu hasil N = 34 pada tariff signifikan 5% = rtabel­ = 0,339 dan rhitung = 0,730. Sehigga disimpulakan rhitung = 0,730 ≥ rtabel = 0,339.

Abstract

The fundamental reason for this research is the need to enhance students’ understanding of the subject matter while preserving and strengthening local cultural identity amidst globalization. This study aims to analyze the implementation and impact of using the Javanese language in Social Studies (IPS) instruction at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Bulak, Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency. The research method used is qualitative, with a case study approach involving classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and the headmaster, and document analysis. The research results show that the use of the Javanese language in social studies instruction varies at each grade level and is adapted to the student’s cognitive levels. This approach has proven effective in enhancing students’ understanding of Social Studies material, especially concepts related to the local socio-cultural context. The use of the Javanese language also plays a crucial role in language preservation and strengthening students’ cultural identity. Despite challenges in its implementation, such as balancing with the Indonesian language, this strategy overall creates holistic learning, improves academic understanding, and strengthens students’ social skills. These findings have significant implications for the development of curricula and learning strategies that are responsive to the local cultural context.

Abstract

TPQ is a non-formal Al-Qur'an education park where there are various lessons about the Al-Quran and how to improve reading and tahsin so that TPQ students are introduced to what the Al-Qur'an is and also about learning Islamic religious education. That way students will know how good morals are according to the teachings of Rasulullah SAW. This TPQ study aims to find out the application of Al-Qur'an learning, and to find out the factors that support and hinder the application of quality Al-Qur'an learning at TPQ Nurul Huda Kartopuran, Serengan District, Surakarta, Academic Year 2022/2023. This study uses qualitative methods and uses data collection tools in the form of observation, interview methods, and documentation. Then from the results obtained, the researcher will describe briefly and then the researcher will conclude so that the results are appropriate. Based on the results of the research that has been obtained, the application of learning the Koran at TPQ Nurul Huda Kartopuran, Serengan District, Surakarta, for the 2022/2023 academic year is quite good, because there are competent teachers who are educated first so that learning can develop. In addition, the application of learning is also assisted by the existence of guidelines and several methods that have been used. The factors that support and hinder the application of Al-Qur’an learning at TPQ Nurul Huda Kartopuran, Serengan District, Surakarta, for the 2022/2023 Academic Year are, collaboration between TPQ administrators and parents, facilities and infrastructure, donors, and competent teachers.
