Abstract

Interpersonal communication is one of the main asset of a person to succeed in daily life including in the school. Good interpersonal communication skills will support students' success in the school, but not all students have interpersonal communication skills, especially those who are active in social media. Thus, the aim of this research is to reveal the interpersonal communication of students who use social media. This research used a descriptive quantitative method with the number of respondents were 31 students of seventh grade at State Junior High School of 24 Kerinci which was taken by using the purposive sampling technique. Data were revealed by using the scale of inter-private communication and then, the data collected were analyzed by using the percentage formula.  Afterwards, the interpretation of the acquisition score of research results done by using the ideal score. The results reveal that in general, the students who use social media in the school have  poor interpersonal communication

Abstract

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak has the potential to affect the mental health of medical personnel. This study aimed to investigate the anxiety experienced by medical personnel during the COVID-19 outbreak and its correlation with individual work performance. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 501 Medical Personnel in Indonesia. Anxiety level and work performance were assessed by the GAD-7 and IWP-1.0. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics, Man-Whitney test, Kruskal-Wallis test, and Spearman's Rank-Order Correlation. The results showed that 33.33% of the participants did not experience anxiety, followed by moderate, mild, and severe levels (31.14%, 27.74%, and 7.78%). Furthermore, the level of anxiety was different in terms of sex, age, and type of medical personnel, while there was no difference in the length of time of work. The results of the correlation analysis showed that anxiety was correlated with task performance and contextual performance, but there was no correlation with the counter-productive work behavior. There is a crucial need for psychological assistance to medical personnel in orders to reduce their anxiety as well as improve their performance.

Abstract

In this "Merdeka Belajar" era, education is a means for students to be able to glorify themselves by displaying good behavior and character. However, not all students in receiving education show commendable behavior as there are still students who make assignments and examinations by cheating. So the purpose of this study is to reduce student cheating behavior through group counseling services. This research method is a type of experiment and uses one group pre-test post-test design with the study population that is the State Junior High School 4 Kerinci students and sampling is done by purposive sampling totaling 10 people. The research data was revealed using a cheating behavior scale that was compiled by the researcher himself and had been tested for validity and reliability with Alpha Cronbach's value 0.832. Further data has been collected in the analysis using the wilcoxon Signed Ranks test. The results of this study revealed that there were significant differences in cheating behavior among students before and after group counseling services were provided. This means that students' cheating behavior is reduced after group counseling services are provided.Keyword:  cheating; merdeka belajar; Group Counseling

Abstract

Increased Student Social Interaction with Group Guidance Services Using Zoom MediaSocial interaction has become a serious problem nowadays, with the development of internet media today, students have interacted more with gadgets than interacting directly face to face with their friends. So the purpose of this study is to try to improve student social interaction through group guidance services using the zoom meeting application. This study uses an experimental approach with the type of one group pre-test post-test design with the student population of Madrasah Tsnawiyah Negeri 5 Kerinci, then the determination of research subjects is carried out with purposive sampling techniques taken from the results of pre-test with a total of 16 students. The data collection instrument uses Social Interaction Scale (SIS). Data that has been collected in the analysis descriptively and to see changes in students' social interaction before after being given group guidance services using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test analysis. The results of this study revealed that group guidance services use effective zoom media to improve students' social interaction.

Abstract

The background of this research is that nowadays we were still found some students who still do some bullying at school, so the purpose of this study is to reveal the intensity of student bullying behavior in schools related to 1) physical bullying, 2) verbal bullying, 3) relational bullying, 4) cyberbullying. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with 30 students as respondents. Data was collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using the ideal score formula. The results of this research study is indicate that the average of the respondent has an intensity of bullying behavior in the medium category.)

Abstract

Remaja sedang berada pada tahap perkembangan yang membutuhkan pembimbingan dan contoh yang benar dari orang dewasa agar mereka bisa tumbuh dan berkembang dengan baik, dalam hal ini termasuk pemantapan tauhid agar mereka mampu menjalani kehidupan dengan iman yang mantap kepada Allah SWT. Sehingga dibutuhkan metode yang sifatnya friendly agar mereka mudah dalam memahami tauhid dengan benar, salah satu metode yang bisa ditawarkan yaitu dengan memberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok. Metode kegiatan ini terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu 1) pembentukan, 2) peralihan, 3) kegiatan inti, 4) penyimpulan dan 5) penutup dengan peserta kegiatan yaitu anggota remaja masjid yang berjumlah 15 orang dan kegiatan ini dilakukan sebanyak lima kali pertemuan. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa anggota remaja masjid telah memiliki wawasan, dan pemahaman akan tauhid yang benar.

Abstract

This study aimed to answer the main problem whether learning achievement could be viewed from self-regulated learning, future orientation and parental support to obtain empirical support. This research used quantitative methods, the sample of 103 people. The data was collected with instruments, scale (1) self-regulated learning, (2) future orientation and (3) parental support.  Learning achievement used report card grades. The results showed that learning achievement could be viewed from self-regulated learning, future orientation and parental support. It got very significant empirical support., score F reg=43,155 dan p=0,000 (p<0,01). Self-regulated learning, future orientation, and parental support provided an effective contribution of 55.4% to learning achievement. The biggest SE was from parental support 37.4%, followed by self-regulated learning 12.7%, and future orientation 6.6%. Based on the findings, the researcher suggests: (1) parents need to maximize learning support for children, strengthen emotional support, instrumental, and informative support. (2) teachers need to introduce self-regulated learning to students. (3) teachers and parents to explore the future orientation of children or students well, so that they grow stronger for a more planned future. And (4) researchers recommend the following research in elementary, junior high, senior high school and PT.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena masih adanya konformitas teman sebaya siswa yang negatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap konformitas teman sebaya melalui pendekatan eksperimen dengan rancangan the one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 10 orang yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data diungkap melalui angket model skala likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap konformitas teman sebaya pada siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa layanan bimbingan kelompok.

Abstract

The study aims to uncover a self-esteem relationship with the altruistic motivations of students who participate in scouting activities. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a correlational descriptive method with a population of 104 people who come from students of State Junior High School 7 Sungai Penuh who participated in Scout activities, then samples were taken using a simple random sampling formula then obtained a sample of 83 people. The tool reveals self-esteem data in an adaptation of the Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI) and the altruistic motivation data researchers developed themselves, namely the Altruistic Motivation Scale (SMAL). The data of the study results were processed and analyzed descriptively to see the distribution of frequencies and then conducted a correlation test using Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The results of this study revealed that the self-esteem and altruistic motivation of students who participated in scouting activities in school were on average in the world

Abstract

Students' ignorance of the potential they have, especially the intelligence they have, is an obstacle for students to be able to improve their achievements in school. For that, it needs to be revealed multiple intelligence profiles, especially linguistic, interpersonal, and intrapersonal intelligence of students. This research is a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study was a student of State Junior High School 5 Sungai Penuh that amounted to 145 people and the study sample was taken with the formula Slovin with random sampling cluster sampling technique so that the number of samples in this study amounted to 107 people. This research instrument uses the Multiple Intelligence Scale that researchers develop themselves, and then the data that has been collected is tabulated and analyzed with descriptive statistics to calculate respondents' scores using ideal scores. The results of this study revealed that students' multiple intelligence profiles related to linguistic intelligence were in the medium category, then the student's interpersonal intelligence was in a low category, and the student's intrapersonal intelligence was in the medium category
