Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the successes and weaknesses of the academic quality assurance system for Madrasah Aliyah targeted by MEDP in Central Java. The research approach uses the CIPP evaluative model. The focus of research includes MA Al Irsyad (independent madrasah), MA NU Limpung (integrated madrasah), and MA YSPIS (madrasah pesantren). The instruments used included questionnaires, interview guides, and documentation. The data collected were analyzed using analytical descriptive. Based on the results of the study it was concluded: (1) the need for a comprehensive and intensive socialization in implementing the academic quality assurance system, especially in madrassas in Central Java, and (2) setting the standard quality assurance system in the madrasa environment .

Abstract

This study is meant to develop a model of discoursal stories for children suitable with their development or age level as readers. The discoursal stories are developed by considering suitable characteristics of learners as readers, teacher’s needs for learning media, and learners’ reading interest. To develop the model as learning media for Grade IV, a research and development method with three stages: (1) preliminary study, (2) product formulation and development, and (3) product validation and dissemination were used. There are two types of results in this research: criteria for the model of children’s discoursal stories in their concrete operational phase and the development of the discourse model. The model has the theme of friendship, humanity/social issues, and education, with joy and playful tone, joyful, moving /pityful/compassionate and relaxed athmosphere. Learners need to feel happy, moving, and patient, and like human being, inanimate and animate objects as main characters. The diction should be plain and metaphorical. The stories should be presented by considering the book format, fonts, paper color variety, font size, and various pictures. The language should be communicative. The content of the children’s poetry should be useful and understandable. The scene technique should be used as the method of presentation with dialogues or description. Learners like human being as the characters, completed with clear setting, linear plots, with friendship as the theme.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbandingan leksikon bahasa Jawa dan Bahasa Sunda di Kecamatan Larangan Kabupaten Brebes berdasarkan bentuk dan makna serta hubungankekerabatan kedua bahasa tersebut. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah leksikon, sementara sumber data penelitian ini adalah tuturan dari informan bahasa Jawa dan bahasa Sunda. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode cakap dengan teknik dasarnya yaitu teknik pancing yang dilanjutkan dengan teknik cakap bersemuka, teknik catat, dan teknik rekam. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode agih dan padan. Analisis data menggunakan metode padan dengan aneka tekniknya yang disesuaikan dengan karakter data yang diperoleh dan tujuan penelitian yaitu teknik pilah unsur penentu sebagai teknik dasar dan teknik hubung banding sebagai teknik lanjut. Hasil analisis disajikan dengan formal. BJB dan BSB terdapat pada kelas kata nomina, verba, dan numeralia (2) leksikon bentuk sama makna berbeda pada BJB dan BSB terdapat pada kelas kata nomina, verba, dan numeralia (3) leksikon bentuk berbeda makna sama pada BJB dan BSB terdapat pada kelas kata nomina, adjektiva, verba, pronomina, dan numeralia (4) leksikon bentuk mirip makna sama pada BJB dan BSB terdapat pada kelas kata nomina, adjektiva, verba, dan numeralia (5) leksikon bentuk mirip makna berbeda pada BJB dan BSB terdapat pada kelas kata nomina, verba, dan adjektiva (6) hubungan kekerabatan bahasa Jawa dan bahasa Sunda di Kecamatan Larangan Kabupaten Brebes termasuk dalam kategori tingkat kekerabatan serumpun atau stock yaitu rumpun bahasa, karena memiliki tingkat persentase mencapai 32%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan variasi fonologi berdasarkan pekerjaan, pendidikan, dan usia; variasi leksikon berdasarkan pekerjaan, pendidikan, dan usia; serta kekhasan bahasa Jawa Batang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiodialektologi dan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini dijaring dengan menggunakan metode simak dan cakap. Analisis data digunakan metode padan fonetis artikulatoris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut. Pertama, variasi fonologi berdasarkan pekerjaan, pendidikan, dan usia meliputi (1) korespondensi vokal, (2) korespondensi konsonan, (3) variasi vokal, variasi konsonan, (4) penambahan bunyi, dan (5) pengurangan bunyi. Kedua, variasi leksikon berdasarkan pekerjaan, pendidikan, dan usia meliputi onomasiologis dan semasiologis. Ketiga, kekhasan bahasa Jawa Batang meliputi kekhasan fonologi dan leksikon. The aim of this study describe phonology variation based job, education, and age; lexicon variation based job, education, and age; and characteristics of Batang Java language. This study uses sosiodialectology approach and qualitative approach. Data was captured using hear and speak methods. Analysis of the data using articulatoric phonetic unified methods. The result showed as follows. First, phonology variation based job, education, and age includes (1) vocal correspondence, (2) consonant correspondence, (3) vocal variation, (4) consonant variation, (4) increment of sound, and (5) decrement of sound. Second, lexicon variation based job, education, and age includes onomasiologis and semasiologis. Thrid, characteristics of Batang Java language includes phonology characteristics and lexicon characteristics

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsi wujud pemertahanan fonologis dan leksikal serta faktor-faktor yang turut memengaruhi pemertahanan tersebut berdasarkan tuturan dari pengguna bahasa Jawa di Kabupaten Wonogiri serta merujuk pada hasil penelusuran prabahasanya. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah leksikon serta sumber data penelitian ini adalah tuturan langsung dari informan atau pengguna bahasa Jawa di Kabupaten Wonogiri. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan 250 daftar tanyaan swadesh yang dikembangkan menjadi 755 tayaan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak dan cakap dengan teknik simak libat cakap, teknik rekam, dan teknik catat. Penggunaan metode cakap menggunakan teknik pancing dilanjukan dengan teknik cakap semuka, teknik rekam, dan teknik catat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode padan. Analisis data menggunakan metode padan dengan tekniknya yaitu teknik pilah unsur penentu sebagai teknik dasar dan teknik hubung banding sebagai teknik lanjut. Dalam menelusuri prabahasa menggunakan metode rekontruksi induktif dengan teknik recontruction buttom up dan menggunakan metode rekontruksi deduktif dengan teknik recontruction top down. Hasil analisis disajikan dengan formal. Dalam BJW ditemukan wujud pemertahanan fonem vokal /*i/, /*u/,/*É™/,/*o/,/*a/, dan fonem konsonan /*b/, /*c/, /*d/, /*g/, /*k/, /*j/, /*m/, /*n/,/*p/, /*r/, /*s/, /*t/, /*w/, dan /*y/. Pada tataran leksikon ditemukan 117 leksikon yang masih dipertahankan dari 18 medan makna. Faktor yang turut memengaruhi pemertahanan tersebut yakni faktor penutur, geografi, dan budaya. Abstract __________________________________________________________________ The purpose of this study is to describe the phonological and lexical forms of defense as well as the factors influencing the defense based on the speech of the Javanese language user in Wonogiri District and referring to the results of his pre-trial. This research approach using qualitative descriptive approach. The data of this research is lexicon and data source of this research is direct speech from informant or user of Java language in Wonogiri Regency. This research instrument uses 250 list of swadesh questionnaires developed into 755 celebrations. Collecting data using the method of referring and proficient with technically skilled involved, recording technique, and record technique. The use of skill method using the technique of fishing line is done with advanced skill technique, recording technique, and technique of note. The method used is the method of match. Analysis of data using the method in combination with the technique that is the technique of decisive elements as the basic techniques and techniques of appeal as an advanced technique. In tracing the proto language using inductive reconstruction method with recontruction buttom up technique and using deductive reconstruction method with top down recontruction technique. The results of the analysis are presented formally. In BJW we find the vowel phoneme defense formation /*i/, /*u/, /*É™/, /*o/, /*a/ and consonant phoneme /*b/, /*c/, /*d/, /*g/, /*k/, /*j /, /*m/, /*n/, /*p/, /*r/, /*s/, /*t/, /*w/, and /*y/. At the level of lexicon found 117 lexicon that is still maintained. Factors contributing to the defense are speaker, geography, and cultural factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan permakah imperatif bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Jawa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan teoretis kontrastif dan metodologis deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode simak dan teknik dasar sadap dengan teknik lanjutan yaitu teknik catat dan teknik rekam. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode padan intralingual dan padan referensial dengan teknik dasar PUP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemarkah imperatif berkategori gramatikal bahasa Indonesia secara formatif ditemukan dua wujud yaitu pemarkah imperatif berwujud afiks dan partikel. Adapun pemarkah imperatif berkategori gramatikal bahasa Jawa secara formatif ditemukan dua wujud yaitu pemarkah imperatif berwujud afiks dan partikel. Berdasarkan wujudnya pemarkah imperatif berkategori gramatikal bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Jawa ditemukan sembilan persamaan dan lima perbedaan. This study aims to compare the imperative marker of Indonesian language and Javanese. The approach used in this research is a contrastive theoretical and qualitative descriptive methodological approach. Data collection in this research is done by using the method of refer and basic technique tapping with advanced technique that is technique record and recording technique. Data analysis method used in this research is intralingual pad method and referential pad with basic technique of PUP. The result of the research shows that the formative imperative marker of Indonesian grammatical category is found in two forms, namely the affective and the particle imperative markers. The marker of grammatical categorical imperative of Javanese formative language found two form of imperative marker tangent affix and particle. Based on the form of the imperative marker categorized grammatical Indonesian and Javanese found nine similarities and five differences.

Abstract

The Banyumas dialect of the Javanese language (ngapak) was the Javanese language that is used by most people in Banyumas. The Banyumas dialect of the Javanese language (ngapak) had its uniqueness, namely its cablaka or frank-speaking nature. It was created a stereotype that ngapak speakers were not educated to speak or violate the principle of education. The cablaka character was a form of showing that Banyumas people prefer to express their opinions and thoughts frankly and without chattering or hiding anything. The purpose of this study was to analyze the form of violation of the principle of courtesy in the spoken language of Javanese speakers of the Banyumas dialect (ngapak). This study was located at Desa Samudra, Kecamatan Gumelar, Kabupaten Banyumas. This research was used a theoretical approach namely a pragmatic approach and a methodological approach was a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collected in this study used the listening method, followed by conversational engagement, recording, and note-taking techniques. The data were analyzed using the matching method with the basic technique of sorting the determining elements. The results of this study indicate that there was a violation of the principle of courtesy in the spoken language of the Javanese-speaking community of the Banyumas dialect (ngapak). The violation has found including (1) the maxim of wisdom (tact maxim); (2) maximum of generosity (generosity maxim); (3) maximum of approval (approbation maxim); (4) maximum of modesty (modesty maxim); (5) maximum of agreement (agreement maxim); (6) maximum of sympathy (sympathy maxim).

Abstract

Sikka vernacular language is an isolative language that has various phenomena. One of them is the homonym phenomenon, in which a word has multiple meanings. This research explains the homonym types and the cultural meaning of the homonym in the Sikka vernacular language with the Sikka Krowe dialect. The applied approach was ethnolinguistics to review the language speeches related to cultures. The applied method was qualitative to describe the data in the form of documented data from the source. The applied method was the interview method with the basic technique of recording. The data analysis consisted of a coding method with specific data reduction phases. The results showed that the vernacular language, Sikka, and the dialect, Sikka Krowe had homonym indications in words. They were grouped into homonyms that were homographs and homonyms that were homographs and homophones. Homonyms in Sikka vernacular language and the Sikka Krowe dialect also had meanings, such as Awu, Utan, Daha, and Wua.

Abstract

Reading skills become important role to support his success in the academic field as well as in his daily life. Therefore, for effective learning to be needed the right reading strategy. The aims of this study was to analyze the influence of using the KWL strategy and the DRTA strategy on the reading comprehension skills of fourth grade students. The research design used is a quantitative model in the form of Quasy Experimental Design with a comparative approach. The data collection techniques in this study are test and non-test techniques. The non-test technique in this study used the methods of observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The main indicator measured in this study was comprehension reading skills, which were measured using rubric assessments. The data analysis technique used a prerequisite test, as well as N-gain test, and independent sample t test. The analysis used is comparative analysis, which compares the effectiveness of KWL strategy and DRTA strategy. Based on the results of the study, the DRTA strategy had a positive effect on students' reading comprehension skills by 73.8%, while the KWL strategy also has 64.2%. The DRTA strategy has a positive effect on the reading comprehension results of students by 71.9% and while the KWL strategy has 63.4%. Reading comprehension skills by applying the DRTA strategy obtained an average of 85.6 while the KWL strategy obtained an average of 74.7. It can be concluded that the DRTA strategy has more a positive effect on reading comprehension skills than KWL strategy.

Abstract

Learning to write descriptive texts which is in accordance to the 2013 curriculum and the development of the 21st century has demanded students to be more productive, creative, innovative, and affective through integrated knowledge of attitudes, skills, and knowledge. Learning to write descriptive texts cannot be separated from the personality of students, namely introvert personality. Evaluation of learning by using a learning model that is appropriate to the introvert personality type is important. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of writing descriptive text learning with the think pair share model in VII grade students with introvert personality. This research used one-group pretest-posttest design. The results of the research based on the paired t-test with a significance value of 0.000 showed that there was a significant difference between the results of the initial test and the final test of writing descriptive text. Significant differences were experienced by introvert students, as there was an increase in the average score of the initial test from 68.07 and the average score of the final test of 80.38.
