Abstract

Kendala budidaya di lahan kering adalah kesuburan tanah yang rendah.  Penggunaan pupuk anorganik/kimia secara intensif dapat menurunkan bahan organik tanah menjadi sangat rendah, selanjutnya menurunkan produksi.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kombinasi pupuk anorganik + organik yang tepat serta varietas yang dapat beradaptasi dengan baik untuk meningkatkan produksi padi pada kering. Penelitian di lapangan disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (Split-plot design) dengan 12 kombinasi perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Sebagai petak utama adalah  kombinasi pupuk (P) yaitu: P1 =100% pupuk anorganik (kontrol), P2= 75 % pupuk anorganik + 25% pupuk organik, P3 =  50% pupuk anorganik + 50% pupuk organik, P4= 25% pupuk anorganik + 75% pupuk organik. Sedangkan perlakuan untuk Anak Petak adalah: Varietas, yaitu : V1  = Inpago 11,  V2  = Limboto, dan V3  = JTLDR-G-416 ( Genotipe ).  Parameter yang diamati meliputi: tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlahanakan maksimum, jumlah anakan produktif, jumlah gabah per malai, persentase gabah hampa (%), berat 1000 butir (g), berat gabah per rumpun (g),  produksi gabah per petak  panen(kg).  Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1. Penggunaan pupuk organik dapat mengurangi pemakaian pupuk anorganik/kimia, pada kombinasi pupuk anorganik 50% + organik 50%, dapat meningkatkan hasil tanaman padi sebesar 23.8% dibandingkan tanpa menambahkan pupuk organik. 2. Varietas Inpago-11 menghasilkan produksi paling tinggi dibandingkan varietas Limboto dan genotipe baru JTLDR-G-416. 3. Varietas Inpago-11 yang diberi pupuk anorganik 50% + organik 50%, dapat menghasilkan gabah sebesar  ±6,0 ton/ha.

Abstract

Lahan kering merupakan lahan yang sangat berpotensi untuk pengembangan tanaman sayuran terutama terung ungu, walaupun lahan kering memiliki kendala seperti ketersediaan unsur hara yang rendah dan berkurangnya kesuburan tanah. Perbaikan lahan kering ini dapat ditingkatkan produktivitasnya dengan pemberian pupuk kascing. Pupuk kascing dapat memperbaiki struktur tanah menjadi lebih gembur dan menyediakan unsur hara makro dan mikro serta meningkatkan aktivitas mikroba di dalam tanah yang akhirnya meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman terung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan milik Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan Kota Palembang yang terletak di jalan Sofian Kenawas, Gandus, Kec. Gandus, Kota Palembang, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan pada bulan Maret sampai Juni 2022. Tata letak di lapangan menggunakan rancangan RAK non Faktorial dengan 4 perlakuan yang diulang 6 kali. Faktor perlakuannya adalah pupuk Kascing (C): 0 ton/ha (C0), 7,5 ton/ha (C1), 15 ton/ha (C2) dan 22,5 ton/ha (C3). Produksi tertinggi dicapai pada penggunaan pupuk kascing 15 ton/ha yaitu seberat 11,10 ton/ha dan mampu meningkatkan 48,00 % bila dibandingkan dengan tanpa penggunaan pupuk kascing.

Abstract

Red chili (Capsicum annuum L.) is one of the commodities vegetables that have high economic value. One attempt to increase the growth and yield of chili plants by using liquid organic fertilizer and mycorrhizal biological fertilizer. This research aims to determine the best dosage of liquid organic fertilizer and mycorrhizal biological fertilizer on the yield of red chili (Capsium annum L.). The research was carried out on land of Agriculture of Palembang City, South Sumatra Province. The research period was carried out from February to June 2023. The research used a Randomized Group Factorial Design (RAKF) with 9 treatments and 3 replications. The first factor is liquid organic fertilizer from vegetable waste according to the treatment, namely O1 = 5 ml/L, O2 = 10 ml/L and O3= 15 ml/L. The second factor is the provision of Mycorrhizal biofertilizer (M) which consists of 4 treatment dose levels, namely M0 = 0 g/ta (without mycorrhiza), M1 = 2.5 g/ta, M2 = 5 g/ta, M3 = 7.5 g /ta. The observation parameters in this study were chili weight per plant (g), chili weight per plot (g) and number of productive brances (brances). The results of the research showed that treatment with a POC dose of vegetable waste of 5 ml/l of water with mycorrhizal biological fertilizer of 2.5 g/lot had the highest influence on chili plant production of 48.33 g/plot or the equivalent of 193,32 kuintal/ha.

Abstract

Revolusi industri 4.0 menuntut lulusan SMK untuk memiliki keterampilan kewirausahaan dan pemasaran digital yang mumpuni. SMK Real Batam sebagai salah satu sekolah yang fokus pada pengembangan kewirausahaan bagi siswanya, menyelenggarakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat (PKM) dengan tema "Pembinaan Kewirausahaan Berbasis Fintech (Financial Technology) dan Digital Marketing". Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membekali siswa dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi keuangan dan pemasaran digital untuk menunjang usaha mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam PKM ini adalah pelatihan, pendampingan, dan mentoring. Materi pelatihan meliputi pengenalan fintech, penggunaan aplikasi fintech untuk transaksi keuangan, strategi pemasaran digital, dan pembuatan konten media sosial. Pendampingan dan mentoring dilakukan untuk membantu siswa dalam menerapkan ilmu yang telah mereka pelajari. Hasil dari PKM ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan fintech dan digital marketing. Siswa juga menunjukkan antusiasme dan motivasi yang tinggi untuk memulai usaha mereka sendiri. Diharapkan dengan kegiatan PKM ini, siswa SMK Real Batam dapat menjadi wirausahawan yang sukses di era digital

Abstract

Majority of farmers in Ketapang 1.  Rantau Panjang District  are accustomed to using inorganic chemical fertilizers and a few use organic fertilizers. Excessive use of chemical fertilizers will have a negative effect on soil fertility, physically, chemically and biologically. Infertile soil can cause the soil to become hard and cause plant roots to develop less well and disrupt nutrient absorption, so that the production of all plants will decrease, therefore to increase soil fertility you can use organic fertilizer enriched with Azospirillum bacteria (N-fixing bacteria from air) and phosphate and potassium solubilizing bacteria. This organic fertilizer enriched with bacteria more quickly contributes the NPK nutrients needed by plants. This activity was carried out in Ketapang 1 village, Rantau Panjang District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, in the form of counseling and demonstration of the application of organic fertilizer enriched with bacteria. Knowledge about organic fertilizer enriched with bacteria is very beneficial to society to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers, to make the soil more loose and fertile and crop production can increase.

Abstract

This research is aimed at questing adult EFL learners’ self-directed learning performance in an Indonesian University. A case study is purposely employed to probing the learning behavior performed by adult learners when English language learning is taken as the context of this research carried out. Three student teachers are determined to be interviewed to obtain data. The acquired data is analyzed using thematic analysis by Braun and Clarke (2006). The study discovers that the EFL learners performed various activities presenting their self-directed learning in terms of learning motivation, learning strategy, selfmonitoring, and social competence. This research contributes to body knowledge of English language learning at higher education in which a teacher will be able to choose or select appropriate teaching strategies dealing with learners’ learning behaviour promoting autonomous learning. The findings also suggest the learners to conduct learning process properly since selfdirected learning enables the learners to maximize their both internal and external potentials in order to achieve better English achievement.

Abstract

Corn is an alternative crop that replaces staple foods other than rice.  Efforts to increase corn production in less fertile land with the application of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) vegetable waste and NPK provide nutrients and improve soil structure so that roots develop well. This study aims to obtain the right POC and NPK dose to increase the growth and production of sweet corn. The method used is field experiments.  The layout on the field uses a Split Plot Design with 12 combinations repeated 3 times.  The size of the plot is 2 x 2 m.  As the main plot, namely NPK fertilizer K1 (30 g/plot), K2 (60 g/plot), and K3 (90 g/plot).  As a subplot, namely POC of vegetable waste P0 (0 ml/L), P1 (10 ml/L) P2 (20 ml/L), and P3 (30 ml/L). The application of POC 30 ml/L with NPK fertilizer 30 g/plot is the best combination of treatment in increasing production by 12.6 kg/plot or 25.20 tons/ha.

Abstract

The lowland has the potential to be utilized for agriculture, such as planting peanuts, even though the soil fertility level is not very supportive The use of bio-phosphate fertilizers containing phosphate-solubilizing bacteria can be utilized to help improve the soil and contribute to nutrient elements The advantages of bio-phosphate fertilizers include protecting roots from Fusarium infect, optimizing inorganic fertilizers, and increasing peanut production This research was conducted in Pulau Semambu Village, Inderalaya Utara, Ogan Ilir Palembang from October 2023 to January 2024. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected educational institutions forcing them to switch from an offline to an online learning model. Since it is difficult for Indonesian students to adapt their learning methods, this circumstance has affected classroom life in various ways. This circumstance has also impacted the learners' motivation and involvement in learning. The purpose of this qualitative descriptive case study was to examine how learners' online learning experiences during the Covid-19 pandemic were perceived from the perspectives of their learning motivation and participation in grammar lessons, as these two factors significantly impact learners' success in their academic endeavors. The study employed a purposive sampling with 20 English education students who participated in grammar classes at a public university in Tasikmalaya, West Java, Indonesia. Data were collected using open questionnaires. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data from the opened questionnaires. The thematic analysis revealed that learners encountered numerous difficulties and hindrances when learning grammar online, which affected their motivation and engagement. This result contributes for practitioners to find out the appropriate teaching strategies for online learning, especially in grammar classrooms.

Abstract

Salah satu kompetensi guru yang menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan pelaksanaan sebuah kurikulum pendidikan adalah kompetensi pedagogi guru dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran. Saat ini kurikulum yang mulai diperkenalkan dan mulai diimplementasikan di sekolah di Indonesia adalah Kurikulum Merdeka. Dalam kurikulum tersebut guru dituntut untuk mampu mengembangkan modul ajar yang merupakan dasar untuk dapat melaksanakan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka (IKM). Untuk meningkatkan setidaknya perlu ada terobosan inovatif bagi para guru dalam memahami dan meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai IKM pada umumnya dan Modul Ajar pada khususnya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak dari sebuah pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam menyusun modul ajar Bahasa Inggris kepada guru-guru SMP di Kota Tasikmalaya melalui program Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM) skema Program Kemitraan Masyarakat Universitas Siliwangi tahun 2023. Dalam melaksanakan PPM ini, dilakukan dengan dua metode yaitu ceramah dan diskusi kelompok terarah yang diisi dan didampingi oleh para narasumber terlatih. Dari hasil pengabdian diperoleh draf modul ajar hasil kerja para guru selama kurang lebih 30 hari dan juga perubahan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun modul ajar sebelum dan sesudah pendampingan melalui angket.
