Abstract

Introduction: Post-term pregnancy is a prolonged pregnancy period till 42 weeks or more that can be caused by varied factors such as hormonal and genetic. Although the incident rate is considerably small, it can bring negative impacts to mother and her baby. Thus, it is important to manage the post-term pregnancy by applying effective approaches such as Need for help Nursing Theory to ensure rapid and precise assessment, observation and immediate intervention carried out during delivery process. In addition, The Theory of Unpleasant symptoms can also be applied to minimize unpleasant symptoms either physically or psychologically and situational discomfort during the labor. Method: The five study cases revealed that the mothers experienced unpleasant symptoms that affected each other and required immediate treatment. Result: After termination with labor induction were conducted, different results were found among the cases. Case two to five after be indiuced, they gave birth trough vaginal birth, while   case one ended with caesarean section because`of fetal distress. Conclusion: Mothers who experienced postterm pregnancy had different respond. Nurse role especially maternity nursing specialist is imperative during the gravidity termination period in performing nursing care to overcome problems experienced by mother with post-term pregnancy.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate and describe the types and formats of nutrition education interventions in colon cancer patients with a postoperative stoma and to examine the effect of nutrition education interventions on ostomate nutritional status. The method used is a systematic review through article searches on the Google Scholar, ScienceDirect and Proquest databases. The results showed that there was a significant improvement in the nutritional status of the patients. The ostomates can maintain fluid and electrolyte balance and albumin levels in the blood while suppressing the incidence of sepsis. One article showed a decrease in ostomate re-admission due to malnutrition (10.3%). In conclusion, the effectiveness of nutrition education intervention can improve the nutritional status of colorectal cancer patients with a stoma. Abstract

This study aims to determine the benefits of using smartphone applications in the health sector in increasing the knowledge of patients or survivors about cancer health, prevention, early detection and screening of cancer, especially treatment with radiation modalities. The method used is PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses) on several electronic databases through screening titles about cancer education or health promotion with radiation therapy. The results showed that many smartphone applications in the field of cancer services were used in patients receiving radiation therapy. This application is very useful for cancer patients during treatment and for post-therapy survivors. The m-Health application is also able to increase patient knowledge about cancer and can encourage changes in healthy living behavior. In conclusion, health promotion and intervention through smartphone applications can have a positive impact on improving health quality, both physically and psychologically, socially, increasing health literacy and being economically more cost-effective. Abstract

Karya ilmiah akhir ini disusun sebagai laporan dari praktik residensi spesialis keperawatan Maternitas yang berfokus pada penerapan teori keperawatan adaptasi Roy dan lost and grieving Kubler-Rose pada asuhan keperawatan ibu hamil yang mengalami intra uterine fetal death (IUFD).Tujuan penulisan laporan ini untuk memberikan gambaran pelaksanaan praktik Spesialis Keperawatan Maternitas dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai pemberi pelayanan keperawatan, edukator, konselor, advokat, pengelola, kolaborator, komunikator dan koordinator, agen perubah dan peneliti dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada perempuan sepanjang periode kehidupannya dengan menerapkan teori keperawatan serta pencapaian target kompetensi. Aplikasi teori keperawatan adaptasi Roy dan lost and grieving Kubler-Rose efektif dilakukan pada lima kasus ibu hamil dengan IUFD. Aplikasi teori tersebut berhasil membantu menyelesaikan masalah keperawatan dan meningkatkan adaptasi klien.Kata kunci:Asuhan keperawatan, intra uterine fetal death (IUFD), teori Roy, Kubler-Rose

Abstract

Dukungan keluarga merupakan hal penting dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri ibu remaja. Hal ini terkait dengan kondisi ibu remaja yang rentan dan membutuhkan bimbingan. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan desain fenomenologi melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap delapan orang ibu remaja dengan tematik konten analisis. Penelitian ini menghasilkan tujuh tema yaitu ibu remaja mempunyai persepsi yang baik tentang ASI eksklusif, sebagian besar partisipan mengalami masalah fisik dan psikologis karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan dukungan, dukungan suami dan orangtua serta anggota keluarga perempuan sangat diperlukan untuk keberhasilan ASI eksklusif, bentuk dukungan keluarga yang dirasakan bermanfaat adalah dukungan instrumen, informasi, emosi dan penghargaan. Partisipan merasakan peningkatan kepercayaan diri untuk menyusui karena adanya dukungan keluarga. Beberapa partisipan merasakan kendala dalam menyusui berupa perbedaan informasi dan anjuran dari keluarga yang tidak sesuai harapan. Tetapi partisipan tetap mengikuti arahan ibu kandung untuk mempertahankan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Hasil temuan ini merekomendasikan kepada perawat maternitas untuk mengoptimalkan peran dan pengawasan terhadap ibu remaja dimulai dari masa antenatal dengan melibatkan keluarga.

Abstract

Kurangnya informasi tentang abortus serta perawatan kehamilan pasca abortus berkontribusi terhadap penderitaan Ibu pasca abortus. Dampak psikologis yang ditimbulkan ibu sering diabaikan oleh keluarga bahkan tenaga kesehatan, padahal sangat penting untuk ditangani karena dapat menciptakan konflik dengan persepsi mereka tentang kehamilan serta dapat mempengaruhi pemulihan selanjutnya serta kesiapan untuk hamil kembali. Paket Pendidikan Kesehatan “Tegar”, dapat menjadi solusi bagi ibu dalam perawatannya pasca abortus. Paket PenKes “Tegar”berisi edukasi tentang apa itu abortus serta cara untuk mengatasi kecemasan Ibu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh paket pendidikan kesehatan “Tegar” terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan kecemasan ibu pasca abortus. Desain penelitian ini adalah Quasi eksperimen pendekatan pretest-posttest dengan kelompok kontrol. Total sampel sebanyak 68 responden, pengambilan sampel dengan teknik concecutive sampling. Paket PenKes “Tegar” diberikan pada Ibu pasca abortus dengan cara pemberian kuesioner pre test langsung pada Ibu, kemudian memberikan edukasi dan demonstrasi serta manajemen stres atau cemas selama dua kali kunjungan dan diakhiri dengan pengisian kuesioner post test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa paket pendidikan kesehatan “Tegar” berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap dan pengurangan kecemasan ibu (p=0,000; α<0,05). Paket pendidikan kesehatan ini disarankan dapat diterapkan di pelayanan kesehatan agar ibu pasca abortus memiliki pengetahuan serta dapat mengatasi dampak psikologisnya dan tidak merasa diabaikan.

Abstract

Peran perawat maternitas dalam merawat klien dengan neoplasma ovarium kistik adalah dengan menerapkan asuhan keperawatan komprehensif yang bertujuan untuk memberikan kenyamanan, ketentraman, dan kelegaan bagi klien baik secara fisik, psikologi, sosial, dan spiritual. Teori yang dapat digunakan adalah teori kenyamanan Kolcaba dan teori adaptasi Roy. Dua dari lima kasus kelolaan menjalani pembedahan, sedangkan tiga kasus sisanya harus menunda untuk dioperasi dan harus memperbaiki keadaan umum terlebih dahulu karena adanya anemia dan harus menjalani transfusi darah. Pembedahan yang dilakukan adalah HTSOB, lympadenektomi, adhesiolisis, dan appendiktomi.Diperoleh data, tiga kasus dengan hasil CA 125>35 U/ml, satu kasus dengan CA 125

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) intervention in overcoming the fear of relapse in cancer patients. The research method used is a systematic review using five databases, namely Scopus, CINAHL, Embase, PubMed and Google search. The results showed that the provision of CBT intervention proved effective in reducing the fear of relapse in cancer patients. In conclusion, CBT intervention can be an alternative to overcome the fear of relapse in cancer patients. Keywords: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Fear of Relapse, Cancer Patients

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of CBT in the treatment of cancer patients. The method used is a systematic review of articles obtained from the PubMed, ScienceDirect, Springerlink and Sage Journal databases. The results showed that CBT helped overcome several problems experienced by cancer patients, such as depression, anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, fear of cancer recurrence, pain, self-efficacy problems and sexual function of cancer patients. In conclusion, CBT can be applied in the treatment of cancer patients through several approaches, such as Mindfulness Therapy (MiCBT), Group CBT, Internet-based CBT (I-CBT), video-integrated CBT (VCBT-I) and commonly practiced professional CBT. Abstract

Background: The self-efficacy to cope with breast cancer patients can improve their adaptive coping skills, well-being and quality of life. Objective: This study aims to identify the effects of a support group to improve self-efficacy of breast cancer patients that receiving chemotherapy.Methods: This study used a quasy-experimental design with non-equivalent control pre-test post-test design. As much as 76 patients with breast cancer were assigned into either an experimental group or a control group (38 person each). All of them were selected through a consecutive sampling method. In addition, it used an instrument of cancer behavior inventory version 2. Results: Respondents who were supported by the support group had 1.4 times higher level of self-efficacy to cope with cancer than those who were not supported by a support group. No significant difference in the level of self-efficacy to cope with the cancer between the experimental group and the control group (RR 1.4 with 95% CI 1.0-1.8, a > 0.05).Conclusion: Supports provided by the support group had no effect on the level of self-efficacy to cope with the cancer.
