Abstract

Branding dermaga depo pemasaran ikan kabupaten sidoarjo dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan pariwisata religi makam Putri Ayu Dewi Sekardadu. Upaya branding yang dilakukan yaitu dengan revitalisasi dermaga. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode kualitatif, yang dilaksanakan melalui dua teknik utama. Observasi langsung di lapangan, dilakukan untuk mengamati secara detail kondisi fisik dermaga serta kegiatan yang berlangsung di sekitarnya. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan yang telah dipaparkan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan branding dermaga berupa revitalisasi dermaga ini sangat penting guna meningkatkan pariwisata religi, meningkatkan kenyamanan dan keselamatan bagi pengunjung yang menggunakan dermaga sebagai gerbang pariwisata religi ke makam Putri Ayu Dewi Sekar Dadu. The branding of the Sidoarjo Regency fish marketing depot pier was carried out with the aim of increasing religious tourism to the tomb of Putri Ayu Dewi Sekardadu. The branding effort carried out was through revitalizing the pier. The method used in this community service activity was qualitative, implemented through two main techniques. Direct observation in the field was carried out to observe in detail the physical condition of the pier and the activities taking place around it. Based on the results and discussions that have been presented, it can be concluded that the pier branding activity in the form of revitalizing the pier is very important for increasing religious tourism, improving comfort and safety for visitors who use the pier as a gateway for religious tourism to the tomb of Putri Ayu Dewi Sekar Dadu.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap konsep circular economy melalui edukasi dan pelatihan pemanfaatan gulma air (Salvinia molesta dan Eichhornia crassipes) sebagai pupuk organik. Program dilaksanakan di Universitas Serasan, dengan melibatkan 10 mahasiswa dari Program Studi Ilmu Lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan fermentasi pupuk organik, serta evaluasi pemahaman melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta dengan rata-rata skor post-test lebih tinggi 35–45 poin dibanding pre-test. Mahasiswa menunjukkan partisipasi aktif, khususnya dalam praktik pembuatan pupuk, yang menghasilkan produk berkarakteristik kompos matang secara visual. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan prinsip circular economy dapat dilakukan secara sederhana dan aplikatif, serta mendorong mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan riset dan inovasi berbasis limbah hayati lokal. Kegiatan ini juga menjadi media efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai keberlanjutan di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi

Abstract

The combination of Discovery Learning and Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in English as Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms is acknowledged as an effective strategy to boost student engagement and language development. This research fills a gap by examining the integrated application of Discovery Learning and PjBL in an Indonesian public school context, specifically in class XI 5 at SMAN 11 Garut. It focuses on how teaching materials, project assignments, and assessment methods are designed and implemented. Employing a qualitative case study method, the data were gathered through classroom observations, a review of instructional resources, and analysis of students’ project results, particularly their video-based conversation tasks. The results reveal that materials grounded in Discovery Learning assist in organizing the learning process, while project tasks enable students to express creativity and practice communication skills, as shown in their video projects. Furthermore, formative assessments offer meaningful feedback on student progress and learning difficulties. Despite challenges such as student preparedness and technical issues in video creation, the integration of these approaches shows strong potential in creating an engaging and purposeful EFL learning environment. The study offers practical recommendations for EFL educators in designing instructional content and assessment aligned with Discovery Learning and PjBL, and also discusses the implications for future curriculum and project-based teaching practices.

Abstract

Jamur merang memiliki kandungan gizi yang tinggi salah satunya protein, namun kurang diminati oleh balita karena memiliki tekstur. Sehingga untuk menarik minat balita dalam mengonsumsi jamur tersebut maka diperlukan formula sediaan granul effervescent suplemen protein jamur merang mencegah stunting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah optimalisasi formula berdasarkan evaluasi fisik dan untuk mengetahui kandungan protein granul effervescent suplemen protein jamur merang untuk mencegah stunting. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan desain pra-eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-postest design. Analisis data menggunakan teknik non statistik dengan cara yaitu mengambil kesimpulan umum berdasarkan hasil observasi. Hasil evaluasi granul effervescent meliputi uji laju alir, sudut diam, kompresibilitas, waktu dispersi dan ketinggian buih serta uji kadar protein. Pada F1 sudah memenuhi seluruh persyaratan evaluasi fisik granul, sedangkan pada F2 dan F3 tidak memenuhi persyaratan evaluasi laju alir. Adapun hasil evaluasi uji kadar protein pada setiap formula belum memenuhi kebutuhan protein balita. Hasil analisis didapatkan F1 sebagai formula yang paling optimal. Kombinasi asam sitrat dan asam tartat berpengaruh terhadap seluruh evaluasi granul effervescent. Namun pada evaluasi uji kadar protein pada seluruh formula tidak memenuhi kebutuhan protein balita. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan F1 sebagai formula yang paling optimal.

Abstract

In volleyball games that are applied and the most important thing is the jump compared to the hit that must be done quickly and strongly. One factor to get a fast and strong jump with Power training with the Complex Training training method. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of Complex Training on increasing muscle power abilities in female volleyball athletes. The research method in this study used an experiment with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample involved in this study consisted of 12 female athletes of the UPI volleyball UKM, using the total sampling technique from all populations. The research instrument used was the Force Plate Test which was given twice, before and after treatment was given. A t-test was carried out with SPSS version 25 as a data analysis technique. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the Complex Training training method on muscle power fitness had a significant value (0.000) <0.05, with an increase in muscle power fitness abilities in female volleyball athletes of UKM at the Indonesian Education University. It is concluded that there is a significant effect of the Complex Training training method on the muscle strength of female volleyball athletes.Keywords: Leg muscle power, Complex Training, Leg muscle power in volleyball, volleyball game.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) empowerment activities play a strategic role in enhancing the economic independence of communities, particularly among the youth at the local level. This study aims to describe the process and outcomes of MSME empowerment through the dissemination and training of handmade bouquet craftsmanship to young people in the Berigil neighborhood, Suralaya Village. The research method employed was participatory observation and documentation, as the researcher was directly involved in the training activities. The results of the activities demonstrated an increase in the knowledge and skills of young people in producing creative products, the formation of small business groups, and the growth of entrepreneurial spirit and awareness of the importance of product innovation for market competitiveness. Thus, the socialization and training program for handmade bouquets has proven effective as a sustainable MSME empowerment strategy at the village level.

Abstract

The SEHAT (Effective Socialization to Avoid Illegal Drugs) program is carried out at SMPN 1 Cimalaka with the aim of increasing students' knowledge and awareness of the dangers of narcotics, psychotropics, and other addictive substances (NARCO). This study uses an extension method with a community education approach, involving 60 students as respondents. Activities include a pre-test to measure initial understanding, socialization of material regarding drug classification, packaging symbols, the impact of abuse, and legal aspects, and ended with a post-test to evaluate effectiveness. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge, with the average post-test score increasing by 44.9% compared to the pre-test. In addition, students show enthusiasm and active participation during socialization. These findings show that the SEHAT program is effective in increasing students' understanding and awareness of the dangers of drug abuse from an early age.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the kinship between Javanese (BJ), Batak (BT), and Balinese (BB) languages through a comparative historical linguistic approach. These three languages are part of the Austronesian family but have developed in geographically and culturally distinct regions. The research focused on determining the percentage of kinship, the divergence time of the languages, and the presence of cognate vocabulary in the languages. The results show that despite significant differences due to historical and cultural divergence, a number of lexical forms and morphological structures were found, indicating traces of a common origin in Proto-Austronesian. Based on this research, it was also found that (1) Batak language retains its proto-form more than Javanese and Balinese languages. (2) Javanese and Batak languages belong to the same language family, sharing a kinship percentage of 22%. Based on calculations, the two languages diverged between 1305-1985 BC. This study found three types of phonemic correspondences: /i~e/, /ǝ~ɔ/, and /w~b/. Phonetic similarities were also found between the vowels [U~u] and [I~i]. (3) Javanese and Balinese languages belong to the same family, sharing a kinship percentage of 37%. Based on glottochronological calculations, it was found that the two languages diverged between 185-525 BC. In this study, phonemic correspondences were found between the phonemes /ɔ~ǝ/ and /ɔ~a/. (4) Balinese and Batak languages belong to the same language family, sharing a kinship percentage of 26%. Based on the calculations, the two languages diverged between 975-1031 BC. Abstract

Telang flower kombucha (Clitoria ternatea L) is a functional probiotic drink that has antifungal properties. This study aimed to examine the antifungal activity of the probiotic bath soap formulation fermented kombucha telang flower against Trycophyton rubrum and Trycophyton mentagrophytes. This research method was carried out experimentally in an in vitro laboratory. The formulation of the fermented kombucha bath soap for the flower of telang was made with varying concentrations of 20%, 30%, and 40%. The preparation of probiotic bath soap for kombucha telang flower was tested for its antifungal activity against the bacteria T. rubrum and T. megantrophytes using the disc diffusion method. The working procedure includes the manufacture of bath soap preparations, and antifungal activity tests on the probiotic kombucha bath soap preparations of telang flower. The results of the study were positively correlated based on the one-way ANOVA test with f count greater than f table and showed that telang flower kombucha in the form of probiotic bath soap had antifungal activity against T. rubrum and T. mentagrophytes as a whole. The concentration of 40% was the highest concentration in the probiotic soap preparations fermented kombucha telang flower with an average inhibition zone diameter of 17.70 mm in T. rubrum species and 17.30 mm in T. mentagrophytes species. The average value of the diameter of the inhibition zone is included in the strong category.

Abstract

The Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPKO) of the PTI FKIP UMS is a community service initiative that aims to increase the added value of tempeh products in Sentono Village, Karangdowo District, Klaten Regency, with a focus on product innovation, particularly tempeh nuggets. Sentono Village has long been known as one of the largest tempeh production centers in Klaten, with more than 26 active tempeh producers. However, these producers face significant challenges in the form of conventional marketing and a lack of diversification in tempeh products, which has resulted in the village's economic potential not being fully realized. This activity was designed to address these issues by actively involving the community, including intensive training in tempe nugget production, hands-on practice under the guidance of facilitators, and interactive question and answer sessions to solve practical problems. To measure the effectiveness of the program, an evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests to quantitatively measure the increase in participants' knowledge and skills. The results of this evaluation show a significant increase in participants' knowledge and skills, proving that product innovation can be a strategic solution to improve the competitiveness of MSMEs in the modern era.
