Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Live streaming selling, Product Reviews, Discounts, and Social Media Marketing on the purchase intention of Maybelline lipstick at the official Shopee store. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 121 active students in Purwokerto, selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25 through multiple linear regression. The t-test results show that Live streaming selling, Product Reviews, and Discounts have a significant effect on purchase intention, while Social Media Marketing does not. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.638 indicates that 63.8% of the variation in purchase intention can be explained by these four variables. These findings suggest that direct interaction through Live streaming selling and the trust formed from Product Reviews play an important role in influencing consumer purchase intention on Shopee e-commerce

Abstract

Abstract

The global market competition demands that Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Banyumas Regency have effective coping strategies to survive in dynamic conditions. This study aims to examine the influence of financial distress, self-efficacy, leadership skills, and financial literacy on the selection of coping strategies. A total of 105 respondents were included, with the sample size determined using Slovin’s formula at a 10% error tolerance level. Data analysis was conducted through multinomial logistic regression, with coping strategies categorized into three main choices: cost efficiency, downsizing, and bank loans. The results of study indicate that among the four variables tested, only financial literacy has a positive effect on the selection of coping strategies. Financial literacy increases the possibility of entrepreneurs choosing cost efficiency by 1.150%, downsizing by 2.103,9%, and bank loans by 3.412,1%. These findings underscore the role of financial literacy as key factor in determining strategies to withstand the pressures of global competition. Thus, financial literacy becomes a new perspective in the process of selecting coping strategies, while also contributing to the development of literature on factors influencing the resilience of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. This study also helps identify best practices in utilizing online media for product promotion, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of businesses in Banyumas Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy, mental budgeting, and self-control on financial well-being with investment decision making as a mediating variable. This study uses Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze data collected from a sample of 218 productive-age individuals who have invested in financial assets or real assets and reside on the island of Java. The results show that financial literacy have a positive and significant effect on financial well-being, while mental budgeting and self control do not show a significant direct on financial well-being. These findings indicate that there is evidence to support the mediator, namely investment decision making. This mediator mediates the relationship between the independent variables, namely financial literacy, mental budgeting, and self-control, and financial wellbeing. The results show that individuals with high financial literacy, good mental budgeting skills, and self-control tend to exhibit good investment decision-making behavior. As a result, this contributes to their overall financial wellbeing. In general, the theoretical implications of this study add to the existing knowledge, while the practical implications provide a useful perspective for policymakers, financial institutions, and individuals to promote their financial well-being.
