Abstract

Stunting education is crucial for children to grasp the perils of stunting and uphold their health and well-being. Educating children about this matter is challenging, given their susceptibility to boredom and difficulty in comprehending complex concepts. Innovative approaches are essential to captivate their attention and facilitate comprehension. In Mompang Jae Village, Mandailing Natal Regency, stunting education was conducted for a cohort of children using persuasive posters and videos. The study involved 30 child participants, employing a persuasive educational method. The percentage of respondents with limited knowledge plummeted from 67% to 33%, while those with a strong grasp of the topic surged from 17% to 67%. Effective knowledge enhancement can be achieved through diverse methods, including education. Incorporating visually appealing educational aids, such as persuasive posters, aids information absorption due to their visually intuitive nature. These posters are prominently displayed at the local healthcare center (posyandu), designed to engage children's attention and reinforce the significance of combating stunting. Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of post-certification professional teacher training at MTsN 1 Model Padangsidimpuan. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical study methods. Data collection used observation, interview and documentation study methods. Next, the data was analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To test the validity of the data, data triangulation techniques were used. The results of this research concluded that there were 61 certified teachers at MTsN 1 Model Padangsidimpuan, consisting of 60 Civil Servants (PNS) and 1 Non-Civil Servant (honorary). Certified teachers at MTsN 1 Model Padangsidimpuan undergo training after they are certified to support professionalism in the implementation of education. The training includes laboratory training, Class Action Research (CAR), Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP), increasing the competence of subject teachers, implementation of the 2013 curriculum, pre-service, integrated information technology, personnel administration, and personality training.

Abstract

The training for delivering the speech text was carried out because self-confidence among PRN youth still needed to be motivated. The PKM method this time offers training implementation that starts with delivering material and practicing with practice. Manuscripts that have been written by each participant are given a section with a slash (/) as a pause marker. This activity is a continuation of the speech writing training which was carried out on the same object. The expected result is that the skills of PRN youth in honing their public speaking skills can be further improved. In this way, PRN youth can take more part in their environment in various social events.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan, 1) implementasi analisis SWOT dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan; 2) faktor pendukung, dan penghambat analisis SWOT; 3) strategi peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data penelitian dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil analisis sebagai berikut a) strengths (kekuatan) yaitu lokasi kampus  yang strategis, kondisi dan kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana yang baik, sumber daya manusia berkualifikasi, iklim kampus yang kondusif, nyaman dan asri. standar proses pembelajaran, standar penilaian dikoordinasikan dengan  peserta didik; b) weaknesses (kelemahan) yaitu terdapat dari lingkungan eksternal yaitu kurangnya kepedulian orang tua murid untuk lingkungan sekolah.; c) opportunities (peluang) yaitu wali peserta didik memfasilitasi keperluan peserta didik dari segi akademik dan non akademik, peserta didik memiliki bakat, dan prestasi yang sering menjuarai perlombaan tingkat kota dan provinsi, hubungan dengan warga sekitar sekolah berjalan baik dan harmonis; d) treaths (tantangan) yaitu wali peserta didik yang sangat kritis terkait perkembangan peserta didik sehingga guru harus lebih bijak dalam mengambil keputusan dan sikap. Simpulan, faktor pendukung implementasi analisis SWOT di um-tapsel yakni, sumber daya manusia yaitu stakeholder yang proaktif dalam memberikan informasi, dan melakukan pengembangan dan perencanaan strategi. Faktor Penghambat implementasi analisis SWOT  yakni, kurangnya dukungan masyarakat dan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai manajemen kampus, strategi untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

SMP Negeri 9 is located in the Sibolga Sambas sub-district together with SMP Negeri 10 Sibolga. The students of SMP Negeri 9 Sibolga have studied economic subjects but with limited learning media and their implementation in daily life, students are still not efficient. The benefits of studying Economics for a person students can train someone in developing a student's creative ideas, train a student to be socially minded, more thorough and economical, train a student in setting the priority scale of needs from the most important needs. The aim of this PkM is to increase students' insight into Economics because studying economics trains a student to be more independent in managing his needs, learning how to fulfill a student's needs. Training a student's time and financial management and understanding a student's life needs. In training a student in developing creative ideas. All PkM participants, namely class IX students, PkM was held in August for 1 month and this PkM activity has resulted in an understanding of economics such as students being able to audit cash in class and can already think about choosing an accounting major when entering high school (SMA). later. Students will be able to practice and understand from themselves about financial reports and the parts of the economy.

Abstract

Adolescent career maturity has an important role in achieving their goals. Teenagers who have a good career understanding can help determine their career choices. Career understanding is obtained by understanding themselves and looking for various information that is used to support career alternatives. This research was conducted at Kartika Padang High School. This research aims to increase the career maturity of teenagers using information services with a muhasabah approach. The research method used was an experiment in the form of a one group pre-test post-test design. The population was 355 people and the sample was 33 people. The instrument for this research is the Adolescent Career Maturity Scale which is proposed using a Likert scale measurement. The data is analyzed using descriptive statistics with the help of SPSS version 25.00. The research results showed that the career maturity of teenagers before being given treatment was in the low category, while after being given treatment was in the high category. There was an increase in teenagers' career maturity before and after being treated with information services using a muhasabah approach. Thus, information services with a muhasabah approach can facilitate optimal youth development to increase youth career maturity. This is evidenced by the increasing planning, exploration and realization of teenagers' career decisions in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan: 1) Langkah-langkah bimbingan belajar bagi peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan matematika di SD Muhammadiyah 2) Hambatan yang dialami peserta didik dalam belajar matematika di SD Muhammdiyah, 3) Upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan matematika di SDN Muhammadiyah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) langkah-langkah bimbingan belajar bagi peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan matematika: a) Identifikasi kasus, (1) melalui hasil belajar, (2) cara menyelesaikan soal yang diberikan guru, b) Identifikasi masalah, kesulitan matematika, c) diagnosis, kurangnya minat belajar, d) prognosis kesulitan matematika dapat diatasi, e) pemecahan masalah bimbingan belajar kelompok cocok untuk peserta didik, f) evaluasi dan tindak lanjut, kegiatan bimbingan belajar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. 2) hambatan belajar matematika: a) Kurangnya media belajar, b) kelemahan berhitung peserta didik, 3) upaya yang dilakukan guru: a) memanfaatan benda-benda sekitar, b) memberikan soal sesuai kemampuan peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan identifikasi kosakata bahasa Melayu Papua dialek Papua Barat Daya beserta eksplorasi semantiknya. Hal ini dilakukan karena masih terbatasnya penelitian sejenis yang berperan dalam pendokumentasian bahasa daerah agar terhindar dari kepunahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tujuh identifikasi jenis kosakata dari bahasa Melayu Papua dialek Papua Barat Daya yang terdiri dari: adverbia sebesar 31%, nomina sebesar 24%, verba sebesar 21%, adjektiva sebesar 12%, pronomina sebesar 6%, sedangkan demonstrativa dan konjungsi masing-masing sebesar 3%. Sementara itu, eksplorasi maknanya mengacu pada konteks sosial yang cenderung aktif dalam melalukan aktivitas fisik dan menghormati sosok Ibu. Sementara itu, konteks situasional lebih cenderung mendeskripsikan keadaan kehidupan masyarakat yang dekat dengan alam dan erat dengan keterangan waktu yang merujuk pada penanda hari sebagai petunjuknya. Dengan demikian, melalui penelitian ini, bahasa Melayu Papua dialek Papua Barat Daya dapat lebih dilestarikan sehingga terhindar dari kepunahan bahasa.

Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakannya pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi menulis Nasyiatul ‘Aisyiyah di Kota Padangsidimpuan. Kompetensi menulis yang dipilih adalah menulis cerpen dengan tema “Monolog Sidimpuan”. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari dua tahapan yaitu tahap I berupa pelatihan dan tahap II berupa pembimbingan. Tahap I meliputi pemberian materi dari tim pengabdi mulai dari pengenalan sastra, syarat-syarat menulis cerpen, dan tips menulis cerpen. Tahap II berupa pembimbingan dilakukan melalui Grup WhatsApp dan bimbingan secara langsung. Hasil dari pengabdian ini telah menghasilkan 20 judul cerpen yang diterbitkan dalam buku ber-ISBN. Dengan demikian, hal ini telah membuktikan bahwa Nasyiah juga memiliki daya saing dalam menghasilkan karya yang bernilai jual. Semoga pengabdian ini dapat bermanfaat dan menjadi peluang baru dalam membuka usaha yang kompetitif ke depannya.  Kata Kunci : Pelatihan Menulis, Nasyiatul ‘Aisyiyah

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Latin alphabet usage on the vocabulary writing skills and science understanding of Thai Malay among Mattaeom 1 students at Ban Padungmat School, Thailand. A qualitative descriptive method was employed using participatory observation and documentation techniques on 25 students. The findings reveal that students face significant challenges in writing vocabulary due to differences in graphemic and phonological systems between the Latin alphabet and Thai script. Three dominant types of errors were identified: graphemic errors (72%), phonological errors (80%), and mixed usage of Latin and Thai characters (60%). These errors are influenced by negative transfer from the mother tongue and low adaptation to the Latin script. The study emphasizes the need for a contextual and phonetic-based learning approach in teaching the Latin alphabet to bilingual students. It recommends more intensive phonological and graphemic training to enhance vocabulary writing accuracy in Thai Malay.
