Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning-based learning model and learning and Intellectual intelligence to creative thinking. This research includes experimental study using Factorial Design 2 x 2. Samples are all girls grade 8 SMP Santa Ursula Bandung 2017/2018 academic year as many as 60 people. The findings of this research include; 1) There is a significant influence of Problem-Based Learning Model on creative thinking to students who have high intellectual intelligence, 2) There is a significant influence of Problem-Based Learning Model on creative thinking to students who have low intellectual intelligence, 3) There is influence which is significant from the Discovery Learning Model of creative thinking in students with high intellectual intelligence, 4) There is a significant influence of the Discovery Model on creative thinking to students with low intellectual intelligence, 5) There is significant interaction of Problem-Based Learning Model and Discovery Learning as well as Intellectual Intelligence towards the improvement of creative thinking. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem-Based Learning dan Discovery Learning serta kecerdasaan Intelektual terhadap berpikir kreatif. Penelitian ini termasuk studi ekperimental menggunakan Desain Faktorial 2 x 2. Sampel adalah semua siswi putri kelas 8 SMP Santa Ursula Bandung tahun ajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 60 orang. Temuan penelitian ini diantaranya; 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Model Problem-Based Learning terhadap berpikir kreatif pada siswi yang memiliki kecerdasan intelektual tinggi, 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Model Problem-Based Learning terhadap berpikir kreatif pada siswi yang memiliki kecerdasan intelektual rendah, 3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Model Discovery Learning terhadap berpikir kreatif pada siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan intelektual tinggi, 4) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Model Discovery terhadap berpikir kreatif pada siswi yang memiliki kecerdasan intelektual rendah, 5) Terdapat interaksi yang signifikan dari Model Problem-Based Learning dan Discovery Learning serta Kecerdasan Intelektual terhadap peningkatan berpikir kreatif.

Abstract

This study was aimed at examining physical activity differences in each phase of SEM through badminton. The method used in this study was experimental research method with factorial design. Participants of this study were 40 junior high school students chosen through simple random sampling technique. The study used Polar RC3 GPS as the research instrument. The data analysis techniques used in the study was One-Way ANOVA. The result of the study found differences in moderate-to-vigorous physical activity in each phase of SEM through badminton games. The finding also showed that the achievement of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity in the badminton game tends to decrease in the final stage.

Abstract

Social skill is one of the life skills that must be possessed by students. Students who have good social skills can interact with their peers and show a positive attitude in both school and social settings. Role-playing learning model is considered as a model that can develop social skills. However, there is no empirical evidence that role-playing learning model in physical education can develop student social skills. Therefore, this study was aimed to examine the effect of role-playing model in physical education on student social skills. This study used an experimental method with One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. This study involved 30 sixth grade students of public elementary schools in one of school in West Java. The instrument used was a social skill questionnaire compiled by the researcher. The test used to test the hypothesis of this study was the paired sample t-test using SPSS version 25 with a signification level of α=0.05. The results of this study showed that there was an effect of role-playing model on student social skills. This study concludes that the use of role-playing model in physical education has a positive impact on student social skills. This model is able to play a strategic role as an educational tool, especially for teaching social skills.

Abstract

The holistic approach to developing volleyball skills that incorporates social skills is essential in shaping the character and life skills of young athletes. Social skills such as cooperation, communication, and trust not only impact performance on the field but also shape the morals and values of participants beyond sports. The roles of coaches, teachers, and educators are crucial in guiding students in the world of sports. This study utilized the Quasi Experimental Design "The Matching Only Pretest Posttest Control Group," comparing the treatment group receiving volleyball training integrated with social skills against the control group receiving conventional training. The research aimed to evaluate the impact of integrating sports values on participants' understanding of these values in the context of sports. The research findings indicate that volleyball training integrated with social skills significantly positively impacted the participants' social skill development. Practical recommendations include strengthening cooperation through regular exercises and evaluations, enhancing verbal and nonverbal communication skills, promoting empathy and appreciation for differences, focusing on collaboration within the team, and providing specific training to build trust among team members. Integrating these aspects into sports training programs not only enhances athletes' performance but also equips them with profound social skills. Coaches must take a proactive role as role models, creating youths who are not only skilled in sports but also possess strong social skills. This approach provides a solid foundation for the development of successful athletes and valuable individuals in society.

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the low participation of female students in physical education learning (Goodyear, Casey, Kirk, 2014). The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in participation and manipulative learning outcomes of female students in physical education in fifth grade students of SDN 053 Cisitu, Bandung City 2019/2020. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting a study so that participation and manipulative learning outcomes of female students can increase. In this study, researchers used an experimental research method with the research design used was The Matching-Only Pretest-Postest Control Group. The research instrument used the PEPAS -Purposes for Engaging in Physical Activity Scale questionnaire and the manipulative learning outcomes assessment sheet. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that there is no difference in the effect of the three cooperative learning strategies on the participation of female students, so it can be said that the three strategies have the same effect in increasing the participation of female students. However, on the results of students' manipulative learning there are differences in the effects of these three cooperative learning strategies, where the STAD strategy provides the best effect on manipulative learning outcomes for female students, followed by the TGT strategy and the Jigsaw strategy. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya partisipasi siswa perempuan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani (Goodyear, Casey, Kirk, 2014). Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan partisipasi dan hasil belajar manipulatif siswa perempuan dalam pendidikan jasmani pada siswa kelas V SDN 053 Cisitu  Kota Bandung 2019/2020. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan sebuah penelitian supaya partisipasi dan hasil belajar manipulatif siswa perempuan dapat meningkat. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian ekperimen dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah The Matching-Only Pretest-Postest Control Grup. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner PEPAS –Purposes for Engaging in Physical Activity Scale dan lembar penilaian hasil belajar gerak manipulatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan efek dari ketiga strategi pembelajaran kooperatif terhadap partisipasi siswa perempuan, sehingga dapat dikatakan ketiga strategi tersebut memberikan efek yang sama dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa perempuan. Akan tetapi, terhadap hasil belajar manipulative siswa terdapat perbedaan efek dari ketiga strategi pembelajaran kooperaif ini, dimana strategi STAD memberikan efek terbaik terhadap hasil belajar manipulative terhadap siswa perempuan, diikuti dengan strategi TGT dan strategi Jigsaw.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pengetahuan tentang model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan interaksi sosial yaitu aspek afektif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan interaksi sosial siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif dalam pembelajaran bulutangkis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif pembelajaran interaksi sosial (asosiatif dan disosiatif) siswa SMP dengan menggunakan instrumen interaksi sosial skala likert (kuesioner) yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya serta diperkuat dengan lembar observasi. Populasinya adalah sepuluh siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Lembang yang berjumlah 365 siswa dan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling, data yang diambil adalah satu kelas VII C yang berjumlah 37 siswa. Data penelitian yang diperoleh pre-test dan post-test dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan deskriptif persentase dengan nilai kriteria keputusan (0,05). Jadi jika t hitung < t tabel (= 0,05) maka H0 ditolak artinya variabel X berpengaruh terhadap variabel Y dan jika thitung > t tabel ( = 0,05) maka H0 diterima/H1 ditolak artinya variabel X tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap variabel Y. Sehingga kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif dapat meningkatkan interaksi sosial secara signifikan melalui pembelajaran bulutangkis.

Abstract

. Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah studi awal yang dirancang dalam bentuk kegiatan workshop tentang penyusunan dan pengembangan strategi self-talk motivasional dalam latihan bulutangkis. Penelitian ditujukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pelatih dalam menyusun dan mengembangkan strategi self-talk untuk dapat diterapkan dalam proses latihan pada siswa-atlet bulutangkis pemula. Kegiatan workshop dilakukan terhadap 14 pelatih bulutangkis tingkat dasar yang berasal dari delapan klub/sekolah bulutangkis di Kota Bandung. Proses workshop dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan experiential learning dalam empat tahapan proses, yaitu tahap explorasi konsep, refleksi, pembentukan konsep, dan pengujian konsep. Hasil analisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif ditemukan pemahaman pelatih tentang materi workshop dari tes awal ke tes akhir meningkat 41,75% (42%) dari 38,01% menjadi 79,76%. Selain itu, dihasilkan juga produk workshop dalam bentuk 18 kiu self-talk motivasional yang tersebar dalam tiga dimensi dan delapan indikator, termasuk fungsi setiap kiu tersebut, dan juga penggunaanya dalam proses latihan. Hasil dan produk ini merupakan temuan awal yang harus ditindaklanjuti dengan pengujiannya di lapangan, baik dalam bentuk latihan praktek melatih maupun intervensi, sehingga ditemukan kiu-kiu self-talk motivasional yang secara empiris sudah teruji dan valid digunakan dalam proses latihan. Meskipun demikian, untuk kepentingan praktis, ke-18 kiu self-talk motivasional tersebut dapat digunakan dalam proses latihan, khususnya dalam penguasaan keterampilan teknik dasar bermain bulutangkis.

Abstract

Background: Modern developments require Generation Z to be able to face future challenges that cannot be predicted. Research Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate how thinking styles and gender can develop creative thinking skills in students when learning physical education and also to investigate the interaction between thinking style and gender on creative thinking skills. Methods: This study used a non-experimental design. Thinking style is measured by learning and thinking style tests (SOLAT), and creative thinking skills are measured by the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking (TTCT), which consists of four indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The sampling technique in this study was cluster random sampling. The random process is carried out in two stages: the first is random selection by randomly selecting, and the second is the second is random assignment. The sample for this research was 68, consisting of 33 men and 35 women. Meanwhile, the analysis was done by looking at n-gain and continuing with the ANOVA test. Findings/Results: The results of this study indicate that thinking styles and gender significantly impact students' creative thinking ability, and there is also an interaction between thinking styles and types that significantly affects students' creative thinking ability. The analysis of the data obtained found a significant relationship between gender and students' creative thinking skills in physical education. Conclusion: Male students have better creative thinking skills than female students because they tend to use the right brain to develop their thinking skills. In developing creative thinking skills, grouping based on gender is necessary. Future research needs to be conducted by considering the right learning model for developing creative thinking skills during physical education learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship of reproductive health knowledge with students' healthy behavior. The method used is quantitative descriptive with using correlational research. This research was conducted in high schools in the city of Bandung with a sample of 371 students, divided into 27 schools. The instrument used in this study using questionnaires knowledge of reproductive health and healthy behavior questionnaire. The results obtained are of reproductive health knowledge has a strong correlation with the healthy behavior of students in Bandung. Keywords: health reproduction, healthy life, students

Abstract

This study aims to provide an idea to the government that the importance of rock climbing should be developed in every city / district. With the aim of the government, it must be able to develop a rockclimbing sport because rock climbing has many benefits for those who do it. Rock climbing is a sport that develops due to the large number of enthusiasts only to improve physical condition, psychology or enthusiasts in achieving achievements, improving the physical condition that can be achieved in rock climbing such as increased strength, power, flexibility, balance and hand eye coordination. Psychological improvement is seen from the increase in self-confidence, motivation and concentration. In the current decade, Indonesian rockclimbing athletes have made an extraordinary history because they have been able to compete with other countries in every championship / event by getting gold medals, for this sport infrastructure does not require expensive equipment or extensive field because this sport is only need a climbing wall and climbing equipment that the price is still affordable. This research method uses literature review. The articles used in this literature review are articles obtained using 3 databases of Taylor and Francis, Google Scholar and Science Direct which support the research. It is hoped that this research can provide a clear picture for the government in making rock climbing development policies in every city / district
