Abstract

In the digital era, technology in learning has become a fundamental need to improve the quality of teaching and learning. One innovative approach that can increase student motivation, engagement, and knowledge retention is learning gamification. This study aims to explore the impact of using gamification on student retention through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. A total of 20 articles from scientific journals published in the 2020-2024 period were systematically analyzed based on journal quality criteria (Quality Assessment), including topic relevance, the impact of using gamification, and the correlation between gamification and student retention. The results of the analysis show that gamification positively affects student knowledge retention. So that teachers can develop learning by integrating gamification elements into learning to create a more enjoyable, competitive, and practical learning experience.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the independent curriculum in the context of educational units in rural areas, specifically at MTs Insan Madani in Situbondo Regency. Employing a qualitative research approach and the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this research synthesizes data collected through documents, images, and audiovisual materials. The findings highlight that while the independent curriculum aims to provide a practical and communicable learning experience, its implementation faces challenges. Key issues include a lack of understanding among teachers and the need for adaptation to available resources and curriculum changes. The study concludes that empowering teachers through targeted strategies and continuous training is critical to achieving the curriculum's goals.

Abstract

Technological developments today have become an essential thing in the learning process. Considering that today's technology exceeds the development of education, input is needed for policy recommendations. In this case, a practical approach to increase students' interest in learning is to use Wordwall educational games. This study aims to determine whether using Wordwall educational games can affect students' learning interests. Based on the research's purpose, the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method is the right choice. This study collected a literature review of 20 articles from Google Scholar published in the last 5 years from 2020-2024. The analysis results from this collection of articles show that the use of wordwall educational games significantly increases students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui Bagaimana penggunaan media pembelajaran Microsoft Teams terhadap minat belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah Biologi Dasar di STKIP PGRI Situbondo. Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Lokasi di STKIP PGRI Situbondo Jl. Argopuro Gg VII Kecamatan Panji Kabupaten Situbondo dengan menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling Area.Hasil analisis Tingkat penggunaan media pembelajaran Microsoft Teams di STKIP PGRI Situbondo sebanyak 6,67% Sangat tinggi, 76,67% tinggi, 13,33% sedang dan 3,33% rendah sedangkan Tingkat minat belajar mahasiswaa pada mata kulia Biologi Dasar sebanyak 13,33% sangat tinggi, 66,67% tinggi, 16,67% sedang dan 3,33% rendah; Mahasiswa yang tingkat penggunaan media pembelajaran Microsoft Teams rendah, maka minat belajarnya juga rendah. Tingkat penggunaan media pembelajaran Microsoft Teams disini maksudnya adalah penggunaan kebutuhan belajar. Siswa yang minat belajarnya rendah banyak factor diantaranya keterbatasan mahasiswa terhadap media pembelajaran Microsoft Teams pada matakuliah Biologi Dasar.

Abstract

The concept of artificial intelligence (AI) has become inextricably linked to the technological developments occurring within the context of the Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 eras. AI can be defined as a computer program comprising integrated machine learning, hardware, and software components. This concept of AI draws inspiration from the neocognitron patterns observed in the human brain and employs knowledge derived from hardware and software in order to fulfil its functions. With the advent of Industry 4.0, AI has been increasingly utilized in diverse domains, including education. The objective of this research is to elucidate the role of AI in education during the Industry 4.0 era, employing qualitative research methodologies. In the context of education, AI facilitates personalized learning experiences tailored to individual learners. AI systems assist educators in designing individualized learning profiles, encompassing a range of practical exercises, for each learner. This permits the adaptation of learning materials to align with the abilities, learning styles, and experiences of each learner. The implementation of AI technology in education is considered beneficial, facilitating the tasks of educators, particularly those related to administration, such as assessment and determining final grades based on applicable weights and evaluations. Furthermore, AI technology has the potential to enhance the quality of active and interactive learning experiences, thus facilitating the teaching-and-learning process for educators and learners alike..

Abstract

This research evaluates the performance of 4G LTE Provider 3 network services in Pamekasan City using the drive test method using the G-NetTrack application. The goal is to understand network performance in providing high-quality internet access in the ever-evolving digital era. This research is important because people's needs for fast and reliable internet access are increasing, especially in cities with high population density such as Pamekasan. Field measurement results show that Provider 3's 4G LTE network has good service quality with stable download and upload speeds and adequate signal strength. Drive tests were conducted by driving along predetermined routes while recording data on signal strength, internet speed, latency, and other relevant parameters. The data collected from each location was analyzed to compare the performance of various service providers. This analysis provides a comprehensive picture of network performance and can be used to provide recommendations to both consumers and other concerned parties. The conclusion of this study includes an evaluation of the performance of each provider based on the drive test results, as well as providing recommendations for future service improvements. The results of this study provide useful insights to understand and improve user experience in telecommunication connectivity in Pamekasan City, and can be used to improve user experience.

Abstract

This research has one of the most important goals, namely increasing nationalism among students, considering that in the results of observations students are mutually indifferent to their friends, in this case if in class or outside the class they are indifferent to their friends and it is difficult to collaborate well between friends. This study included quantitative research with research subjects namely economics class semester 1 of the economics education study program, totaling 34 students. This research is a pre-experimental study, in which the assessment is in the form of a One Group Pre-Test Post-Test which is carried out in only one class without a control class. The analytical method used is inferential statistics where in this statistic the results are used to generalize the population. In this study we used the t test to test the hypothesis. From the results of the research that has been carried out, a conclusion can be drawn that the implementation of the sociodrama method can increase the attitude of nationalism or the attitude of loving the homeland of students in Pancasila education courses.

Abstract

Globalisasi menjadikan dunia lebih terbuka dan lebih mudah terhubung satu sama lain. Hubungan manusia pun semakin rumit, terutama dalam aspek agama. Hal ini mendorong manusia untuk  lebih toleran menerima perbedaan satu sama lain. Namun, persoalan baru muncul saat manusia tidak lagi dapat mengenali perbedaan antara menghormati perbedaan dan mencampuradukkan perbedaan. Apalagi umat Islam Indonesia mengusung konsep Islam Nusantara yang lebih mengedepankan keluwesan, sopan-santun, dan kelemah-lembutan, sehingga menjadi pintu masuk arus globalisasi dan penetrasi berbagai budaya asing ke dalam budaya lokal. Berdasarkan latar tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep wasathiyah Islam Nusantara dalam membangun moderasi pendidikan di era globalisasi. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian kepustakaan. Kesimpulannya menunjukkan bahwa wasathiyah Islam Nusantara dalam membangun moderasi pendidikan di era global dapat ditinjau dalam dua aspek, yaitu moderat dalam materi keilmuan (akidah, akhlak, dan syariah), dan moderat dalam metode pembelajaran (model dan media pembelajaran).

Abstract

Coating of Cu/Ni with nitrocellulose (NC) has been carried out with the aim of determining the effect of using NC as a protective film on the sensitivity and activation energy of the sensor. The samples used were Cu/Ni and Cu/Ni/Cu where the NC coating on Cu/Ni was carried out using a spray method with a pressure of 1.2 Mpa. Both sensor samples were used to measure the temperature of liquid nitrogen (liquid N2) which was varied from -160C - 0C. In addition to temperature, voltage and current were also measured. The sensitivity value was obtained from the slope of the resistance curve against temperature, while the activation energy was obtained from the slope of the logarithm of conductivity against one per absolute temperature. From the sensitivity test, it is known that both sensors have a tendency to be more sensitive when the temperature is lowered, but the presence of the NC layer causes a decrease in sensitivity of up to 18.9%, namely from 3.95 /C to 3.18 /C at a temperature of -160C following the equation S(T)=0.10e-0.012T. The use of NC protective layer can also increase the activation energy by 1.3%, namely from (4.29  0.01)x10-9 eV to (4.35  0.01)x10-9 eV. These results can be used as a consideration for temperature sensor manufacturers that the use of NC protective layer is important but can reduce sensor sensitivity.

Abstract

Prediksi readmisi pasien telah menjadi tantangan utama dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini menyajikan tinjauan sistematis terhadap algoritma deep learning, dengan menganalisis 30 artikel dari database utama seperti Scopus, IEEE Xplore, dan ScienceDirect. Proses pencarian literatur dilakukan menggunakan kombinasi kata kunci seperti 'deep learning', 'readmisi pasien', dan 'prediksi kesehatan' serta mengikuti kerangka PRISMA untuk menyaring studi yang relevan berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) mendominasi dalam menangkap pola temporal dari data Electronic Health Record (EHR), dengan kinerja mencapai Area Under the Curve (AUC) hingga 88,4%. Selain itu, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) terbukti efektif untuk menganalisis teks tidak terstruktur, sementara model Transformer menunjukkan potensi dalam menangani dataset berskala besar. Tantangan utama yang ditemukan meliputi ketidakseimbangan data dan heterogenitas data medis, yang dapat mempengaruhi akurasi prediksi. Solusi inovatif seperti federated learning dan Explainable AI (XAI) diusulkan untuk meningkatkan interpretabilitas dan efisiensi algoritma dalam konteks klinis. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga mengenai potensi dan keterbatasan deep learning dalam prediksi readmisi pasien serta menawarkan rekomendasi strategis untuk pengembangan teknologi kesehatan yang lebih baik.
