Abstract

This research focuses on the development of a freelance e-commerce website for WardellTech using the Laravel framework. The objective is to build a web-based platform that is secure, responsive, and user-friendly, supporting freelance service transactions. Laravel was selected for its structured MVC architecture, built-in security features, and its ability to streamline development and maintenance. A Software Requirements Specification (SRS) document was created to define both functional and non-functional requirements in detail, ensuring that all stakeholders—developers, testers, and project managers—have a unified understanding of the system. WardellTech specializes in web and mobile application development, emphasizing quality design, user experience, and data security. Therefore, the website integrates key features such as secure payment gateways, intuitive navigation, and optimized performance. Continuous analysis and improvement of the user interface are also prioritized to enhance usability and customer satisfaction. The final system is expected to not only meet WardellTech’s business needs but also compete effectively in the freelance digital services market. Additionally, it is designed to adapt to ongoing technological advancements and evolving user demands in the dynamic e-commerce landscape.

Abstract

Digital tourism increasingly requires interactive and immersive media, yet virtual tour development in rural and community-based settings often lacks methodological rigor, structured usability evaluation, and user-centered design. To address this gap, this study develops a web-based 360-degree Virtual Tour for AEWO Mulyaharja using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) framework. Introductory Augmented Reality (AR) elements were included to enrich visual presentation, although these features were not the primary focus of evaluation. The system was developed through the six MDLC stages and assessed using an adapted usability instrument derived from the principles of the System Usability Scale (SUS), simplified to accommodate respondents with varying levels of digital literacy. Thirty participants tested the system and rated five aspects: attractiveness, ease of use, information completeness, intention to visit, and cross-device accessibility. The Virtual Tour achieved an average usability score of 81.68 percent, categorized as “very good,” indicating that the platform is engaging, clear, and accessible for potential users. Scientifically, the study contributes to digital tourism literature by integrating MDLC with Human–Computer Interaction considerations and demonstrating the contextual application of an adapted usability measure for community-based environments. Practically, the Virtual Tour enhances AEWO Mulyaharja’s digital visibility and offers a replicable model for rural tourism digitalization. Future research may explore deeper evaluation of AR functionality, broader respondent groups, and additional usability metrics

Abstract

This study develops a mobile-based multiplayer horror game titled "Angker" using the Agile method, specifically Agile Scrum, in response to the rapid growth of the mobile game industry and increasing interest in the multiplayer horror genre. The Agile method was chosen for its flexibility in managing complex game development, allowing quick adaptation to changes and strong team collaboration. The development process was divided into eight sprints, covering planning (team role assignment, project scheduling), design (UML diagrams, UI design using Figma), feature development (character movement, multiplayer system, chat, item system, visual/audio assets, in-game store, skin transactions), internal and external testing, and final deployment. A total of 15 core features were successfully developed and implemented, including 8 technical modules such as a multiplayer lobby system, coin transaction system, interactive item system, and win condition detection system. Testing results demonstrated improvements in time efficiency, team coordination, and final product quality. The novelty of this study lies in the comprehensive integration of the Agile method in multiplayer horror game development using the Godot engine—an approach still rarely implemented, especially by small teams with limited resources.

Abstract

The rapid development of the digital era has encouraged MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) owners to adopt technology to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness. Lalungguh Ecoprint, an MSME engaged in sustainable fashion through the use of natural-based ecoprint techniques, still encountered obstacles in product promotion and manual financial record-keeping. This study aimed to develop a website that integrates product catalog management with financial recording into a unified, more efficient system. The development process employed the Waterfall method to ensure a structured and systematic workflow. Laravel was chosen as the primary framework due to its support for the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, which simplifies code organization and modular feature development. MySQL was utilized as the database management system for its reliability in managing complex data storage. The resulting website enables real-time, centralized management of product and financial data and is accessible across multiple devices. This system is expected to enhance operational efficiency, streamline business activities, and broaden Lalungguh Ecoprint’s marketing reach through a digital platform.

Abstract

The e-commerce sector has experienced significant growth in Indonesia in recent years. However, many small business owners still rely on manual operations through social media platforms. This study focuses on the design and implementation of an e-commerce website for Comot Langsung, a local thrifting business, using the Waterfall methodology and the Laravel framework. The sequential nature of the Waterfall method is applied through six phases: requirement analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. In the analysis phase, several key features were identified, including user registration, product catalog, shopping cart, ordering system, and QRIS payment integration. The design process utilized UML diagrams to clearly and structurally visualize the system architecture and user flow. The results show that all features were successfully implemented, offering high responsiveness and ease of navigation. This website is expected to expand market reach for thrifting entrepreneurs while enhancing the online shopping experience for consumers in selecting and purchasing vintage fashion products efficiently and conveniently.

Abstract

This study was conducted by applying Black Box testing using the Equivalence Partitioning method to validate the functionality of the PERKASA website, a digital consultation platform in the fisheries sector designed to support fish farmers. The research was carried out in a controlled testing environment with a focus on several main features, namely expert consultation, account login, account registration, articles, and user profile editing. The Equivalence Partitioning method was used to categorize inputs into classes representing valid and invalid conditions. Each test case was executed to determine whether the system produced outputs that matched the expected results. A quantitative approach was applied to compare the actual outcomes with the predefined expected values. Test results showed that out of 54 scenarios, 46 performed as expected, resulting in a functional validation rate of 85,19%. Meanwhile, several other scenarios showed discrepancies in specific input validation. Validation was performed on both client and server sides to ensure data integrity and an optimal user experience. These findings demonstrate that Equivalence Partitioning can serve as a useful method for supporting the development of new websites such as PERKASA, while also contributing to future research on web based information systems.
