Abstract

Software testing is a crucial stage in the development cycle to ensure program functionality runs as expected and maintains good quality. This process aims to identify errors so they can be fixed before the software is released to users. One of the software objects of this research is the Teman Ternak website. Teman Ternak is a website-based digital platform that functions as telemedicine, designed to overcome distance and time barriers between farmers and veterinarians, providing a platform that allows farmers to obtain remote consultation services, including initial diagnosis and treatment for diseases affecting their livestock. Testing on this website was conducted using the Black Box Testing method by applying the Equivalence Partitions technique. The Black Box method is used to test website functionality from a user perspective without needing to know the internal code structure. Meanwhile, the Equivalence Partitions technique is a testing technique that focuses on designing test cases by grouping input data on each form on the Teman Ternak website. Input data is grouped into test classes (test cases) with expected results of valid or invalid values. The purpose of testing on the Teman Ternak website is to detect and minimize functional failures during implementation, so that errors found can be fixed more quickly and the website quality improves.

Abstract

The acceleration of information technology advancement necessitates digital system adoption among SMEs to maintain market competitiveness. Toko Susu Bahagia faced operational inefficiencies in inventory management and transaction documentation through manual processes. This research developed a customized e-commerce solution implementing the Waterfall methodology, progressing systematically through requirement analysis, design, implementation, and verification phases. The system architecture utilized PHP (Laravel) framework with MySQL database integration, incorporating essential functionalities: inventory control, order status monitoring, product expiration notifications, and sales analytics. Verification through Black Box Testing yielded a 98% functionality success rate, validating system dependability. Technical obstacles encountered during development included insufficient data validation protocols and limited digital proficiency among users, which were addressed through simplified interface design and enhanced validation mechanisms. The research establishes the practical effectiveness of user-oriented system architecture for small retail enterprises. Operational performance improved through error reduction in manual processes, instantaneous inventory visibility, and expanded market access. The implementation indicates sustained advantages for business growth capacity and technological preparedness. Subsequent research directions may investigate payment gateway integration, language localization capabilities, and responsive design optimization to enhance system versatility.

Abstract

Internet technology evolution has catalyzed transformative shifts across industries, reshaping digital business operations. This research examines EmcoToys, a hypothetical toy industry case, demonstrating web application development for market expansion and product promotion enhancement. The study applied the Waterfall methodology to design and construct a website through sequential phases: requirements gathering, system design, implementation, verification, and maintenance planning. Requirements analysis distinguished between functional and non-functional specifications, while the design phase utilized Entity Relationship Diagrams and use case modeling alongside low-fidelity interface prototypes. The implementation phase leveraged Laravel and Bootstrap frameworks for front-end architecture, with SQL managing database operations. Verification procedures through black box testing validated all system functionalities with complete success rates. The maintenance strategy prioritized content management accessibility and sustainable technical architecture through contemporary frameworks. This research advances existing literature by applying the Waterfall model specifically to toy industry e-commerce development, addressing a notable research gap. The resulting system delivers measurable advantages to EmcoToys: streamlined operational workflows, expanded product market visibility, and optimized user interactions. From a practical standpoint, this work provides a structured framework for companies undertaking similar digital initiatives. Theoretically, the findings affirm the continued applicability of the Waterfall methodology for projects with well-defined parameters and moderate complexity. The project addressed inherent challenges, including restricted user input during initial development stages and database structural inconsistencies, through systematic design refinements and collaborative testing protocols. These strategic adjustments facilitated the delivery of a robust, accessible, and sustainable system aligned with organizational requirements.

Abstract

Desa Wisata Mulyaharja, Kota Bogor, Jawa Barat, memiliki potensi agroekowisata dan UMKM yang besar, namun belum didukung oleh sistem promosi digital yang interaktif serta keterampilan literasi digital masyarakat yang memadai. Permasalahan utama mitra meliputi keterbatasan pemanfaatan teknologi promosi imersif dan rendahnya kemampuan pengelola desa wisata serta pelaku UMKM dalam menerapkan strategi digital marketing berbasis kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI). Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan membangun ekosistem promosi digital berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui integrasi Virtual Tour 360°, Augmented Reality (AR), dan pelatihan digital marketing berbasis AI. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi asesmen kebutuhan mitra, pengembangan media promosi digital imersif, pelatihan dan pendampingan pemanfaatan AI, serta evaluasi dampak awal menggunakan survei pre-test dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas digital masyarakat, dengan nilai rata-rata penilaian pasca penggunaan Virtual Tour dan AR sebesar 81,68% (kategori sangat baik), serta kebermanfaatan pelatihan digital marketing berbasis AI mencapai 92,8%. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada penguatan literasi digital, peningkatan peran pemuda desa, dan potensi peningkatan ekonomi lokal melalui promosi wisata dan UMKM yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi fungsionalitas website Catering Bu Nova menggunakan metode Black Box Testing dengan teknik Equivalence Partitioning. Website ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional UMKM dengan menyediakan fitur seperti tampilan menu, ulasan pelanggan, dan pemesanan cepat melalui WhatsApp. Pengujian dilakukan tanpa memeriksa kode internal, berfokus pada fungsionalitas sistem. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa fitur utama seperti login, logout, dan pengelolaan data (CRUD) berfungsi dengan baik, dengan tingkat validitas 100%. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada industri makanan dan minuman dengan memberikan pendekatan pengujian yang terstruktur untuk memastikan keandalan dan kepuasan pengguna.

Abstract

The management of alumni data for the Software Engineering Technology (SET) Study Program is currently facing challenges, including dispersed data, difficulty in updating, and administrative inefficiencies. This study aims to design a structured and centralized web-based Alumni Information System. The method used is Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), which includes literature review, requirements identification, UML modeling (use case, activity, class, sequence diagrams), and interface design. The design results indicate that the system provides nine main functional features, which address the data management problems. The Object Oriented Programming (OOP) approach is applied to produce a system architecture that is modular, maintainable, and scalable. The designed system is estimated to increase administrative process efficiency by more than 90%, instantly reducing data search and verification time. Overall, this design is expected to enhance data accuracy, alumni connectivity, and operational efficiency of the study program.

Abstract

Geographic Information System (GIS) for land suitability assessment integrates spatial and attribute data to evaluate and map areas for food crops and horticulture. The system applies parameters such as temperature, rainfall, water pH, clay CEC, organic carbon, and other soil characteristics, analyzed through a rule-based approach. Its main goal is to optimize agricultural land use by aligning crop selection with physical and environmental conditions. GIS-based analysis enables accurate digital mapping and categorizes land into highly suitable, moderately suitable, marginally suitable, and unsuitable classes, providing valuable insights for farmers, governments, and stakeholders in sustainable land management. System development employed the Prototype methodology, emphasizing iterative stages of requirement gathering, rapid design, prototype construction, user evaluation, and refinement. The Land Suitability GIS (SigKL) was tested at five partner-farmer sites in Cianjur and Sukabumi. Black Box Testing confirmed that all 20 functional features achieved a 100% success rate. The system supports the identification of potential new agricultural areas and offers recommendations for improving less productive land. The novelty of this research lies in integrating FAO (1976) classification with interactive digital mapping and locally tailored knowledge rules, enabling real-time accessibility. Unlike prior studies limited to static analysis, SigKL introduces an adaptive, rule-based GIS prototype with interactive visualization, directly supporting decision-making for sustainable agriculture. This innovation enhances transparency and accessibility, contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to food security and sustainable farming.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam industri jasa, termasuk sektor laundry, menjadi kebutuhan yang mendesak seiring meningkatnya tuntutan masyarakat urban terhadap layanan yang cepat, transparan, dan efisien. Banyak usaha laundry di Indonesia masih menggunakan sistem manual, yang sering menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan seperti kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan informasi status pesanan, dan ketidakefisienan dalam pengelolaan operasional. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan website layanan laundry bernama Nyuci yang responsif dan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tiga jenis pengguna, yaitu pelanggan, mitra laundry, dan admin. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Scrum, salah satu kerangka kerja Agile yang mendukung kolaborasi tim secara iteratif dan fleksibel melalui tahapan sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, dan sprint retrospective. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, studi literatur, studi kompetitor, serta analisis logika sistem. Hasil analisis menghasilkan product backlog, use case diagram, entity-relationship diagram (ERD), class diagram, dan mockup antarmuka pengguna. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan fitur-fitur utama seperti pelacakan status pesanan, rekomendasi layanan, dashboard analisis, dan sistem verifikasi mitra. Pengujian dengan platform Maze menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan task sebesar 92,8% dengan waktu penyelesaian yang cepat. Website Nyuci tidak hanya mempermudah pelanggan dalam memantau pesanan, tetapi juga meningkatkan efisiensi kerja mitra serta menyediakan alat manajemen yang komprehensif bagi admin.

Abstract

Lums Creative merupakan sebuah website yang menyediakan layanan kreatif digital dengan berbagai fitur untuk mengelola layanan, portofolio, klien, ulasan, hingga proyek. Untuk memastikan kualitas fungsionalitas serta konsistensi respons pada setiap fitur, dilakukan pengujian menggunakan metode Black Box Testing dengan teknik Boundary Value Analysis (BVA). Teknik ini digunakan untuk mengevaluasi perilaku sistem pada nilai batas minimum, maksimum, serta nilai di luar batas pada setiap field input. Pengujian dilakukan pada enam fitur utama, yaitu Service, Portofolio, Client, Review, Create New Project, dan Edit Profile. Setiap fitur diuji berdasarkan validasi teks, pemilihan opsi, format input, serta batas ukuran file. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur telah memproses input sesuai aturan yang ditetapkan, di mana sistem mampu menerima data pada nilai batas valid dan menolak input yang melampaui batas atau tidak memenuhi syarat. Penerapan teknik BVA pada seluruh fitur terbukti efektif dalam mengidentifikasi potensi kesalahan fungsional, sehingga memastikan bahwa website bekerja secara konsisten sesuai kebutuhan pengguna.

Abstract

Website FloraTrade merupakan platform perdagangan tanaman hias berbasis web yang menyediakan layanan jual beli secara daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji fungsionalitas website FloraTrade menggunakan metode Blackbox Testing dengan pendekatan Equivalence Partitioning. Pengujian dilakukan pada beberapa modul utama, yaitu autentikasi pengguna, pengelolaan produk, keranjang belanja (cart), checkout, dan pembayaran. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai dengan skenario pengujian. Namun, ditemukan beberapa ketidaksesuaian pada validasi input serta pada modul keranjang belanja, checkout, dan pembayaran akibat penanganan validasi pada sisi client dan server yang belum optimal. Dengan demikian, metode Equivalence Partitioning efektif dalam mengidentifikasi kesalahan fungsional dan mendukung peningkatan kualitas perangkat lunak.
