Abstract

The objective of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and technology on the use of Probiotik Raja Siam in improving the growth and survival rate of Asia redtai catfish larvae in the Sawah Mandiri Fisheries Group, Sawah Village, Kampar Utara Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, Riau. The implementation methods included lectures, discussions, and hands-on field practice. Lectures and discussions were conducted in the group meeting room, covering the benefits of soaking asia redtai catfish larvae using Probiotik Raja Siam. Field practice was carried out at the hatchery, where participants were guided through the soaking process, distribution, and initial care of the larvae. The knowledge evaluation results showed a significant improvement in understanding. Out of the 13 group members present, 10 (76.92%) were able to absorb the material with an excellent rating, 2 (15.38%) with a good rating, and 1 (7.69%) with a satisfactory rating. The skill evaluation results showed that group members were able to apply the use of Raja Siam Probiotics to support the growth of asia redtai catfish larvae. Meanwhile, the impact evaluation results indicated that members of the Independent Rice Field Fisheries Group had begun using Raja Siam Probiotics to accelerate the growth of Asia redtai catfish larvae.

Abstract. Putra RM, Raza’i TS, Sukendi, Budijono, Jhonnerie R, Kurniawan R, Ramdhani EP, Pardi H. 2026. Integrating RAPFISH-MDS diagnostics into an operational sustainability roadmap for a tropical oxbow lake (Sepunjung, Indonesia). Biodiversitas 27 (3): d270308. https://doi.org/10.13057/biodiv/d270308. Sepunjung Oxbow Lake in Riau Province, Indonesia, is a tropical floodplain lake exposed to increasing ecological and socio-institutional pressures, creating an urgent need for a practical sustainability management framework. This study aimed to develop an operational sustainability roadmap for the lake by integrating biophysical evidence and stakeholder knowledge through Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries with multidimensional scaling (RAPFISH-MDS). Sustainability was assessed across five dimensions using 45 attributes supported by monthly water-quality monitoring from September 2024 to February 2025, fish community observations, field verification, and semi-structured interviews with resource users and relevant stakeholders. The analysis showed that the ecological dimension had the lowest sustainability index (31.8), followed by legal-institutional (43.2), while the economic (52.3), technological (55.9), and socio-cultural (59.0) dimensions were classified as moderately sustainable. Monte Carlo testing confirmed the stability of the ordination results. Sensitivity analysis identified key leverage attributes, and Pareto screening selected 13 priority factors explaining 78.2% of total sensitivity. The most critical intervention areas were aquatic vegetation cover, water quality, riparian forest condition, utilization zoning, community empowerment, monitoring facilities, and fishery product marketing. Based on these findings, a 12-24 month operational roadmap is proposed, focusing on ecological rehabilitation, participatory fisheries control, institutional strengthening, and livelihood improvement. The study demonstrates that multidimensional sustainability diagnostics can be translated into concrete management priorities for tropical oxbow lakes in Indonesia.

Abstract

The growth of gurami fish larvae (Osphronemus gouramy Lac.) is often hindered by a limited supply of natural feed such as silkworms. Fermented paste feed supplemented with moringa leaf meal (Moringa oleifera) is expected to serve as an alternative feed that can reduce dependence on silkworms. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of fermented paste feed supplemented with moringa leaf meal (MLM) on the growth and survival of gurami fish larvae. The study was conducted over 40 days using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of six treatments with three replicates: P1 (0 g/kg MLF), P2 (20 g/kg MLF), P3 (40 g/kg MLF), P4 (60 g/kg MLF), P5 (80 g/kg MLF), and P6 (Tubifex sp.). The results showed that the addition of moringa leaf flour had a significant effect (P < 0.05) on absolute weight gain, absolute length gain, specific growth rate, and survival rate of gurami fish larvae. The best results were obtained in treatment P4 (60 g/kg TDK), with an absolute weight gain of 0.37 g, an absolute length gain of 1.58 cm, a specific growth rate of 8.36%/day, and a survival rate of 88.87%. Water quality parameters during the study remained within the optimal range, with temperatures ranging from 26.1–27.9 °C, a pH of 6.6–7.1, and dissolved oxygen levels of 5.2–6.6 mg/L.

Abstract

Public information disclosure is a crucial component of realizing transparent, accountable, and democratic governance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure on the transparency of public officials in Indonesia and to identify obstacles to its implementation. The research method used is normative juridical with a legislative approach, a conceptual approach, and a case study approach. The research data were obtained through a literature review sourced from laws and regulations, books, scientific journals, and official data from the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia. Research shows that the implementation of the Public Information Disclosure Law has encouraged increased public information disclosure in Indonesia. The Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia, through the launch of the 2025 Public Information Disclosure Index (IKIP), emphasized that information disclosure is a strategic instrument in supporting good and accountable governance. However, the results of the 2025 Public Information Disclosure Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) indicate that transparency implementation is still not optimal because of the 387 public bodies monitored, 121 public bodies are categorized as "Not Informative" and 34 public bodies are categorized as "Less Informative". This study found that obstacles to the implementation of the Public Information Disclosure Law are influenced by the low commitment of some public officials to information transparency, limited human resources and information technology, and an ineffective information service bureaucracy. Therefore, strengthening oversight, increasing the capacity of Information and Documentation Management Officers (PPID), and optimizing digital-based information services are needed to increase government transparency and accountability in accordance with the principles of good governance.
