Abstract

The development of science and technology will increasingly have an impact on human life, especially electronic devices at home. In-home reservoirs, commonly, the owner of the water pump cannot detect the level of the water reservoir in his house due to no automation in the water pump. This study seeks to design a device that can control one water pump for filling three reservoirs, where the reservoir filling path will be regulated by a solenoid valve. It also aims to increase the efficiency of electrical energy in the water pump and be monitored by homeowners. The research was conducted at Yulihamri's rented house on Merak Sakti Road. In testing the measurement of electrical energy without using a control, the results obtained in the first reservoir of 1253.99 Wh, 2072.83 Wh, and 2136.27 Wh in the first, second, and third reservoirs, respectively. Meanwhile, in testing the measurement of electrical energy using the control system, the results obtained on all reservoirs in sequence are 1234.70 Wh, 1754.52 Wh, and 1644.12 Wh. The electric energy efficiency of the water pump after using the control system enhance by 15%. The contribution of this research is to reduce the use of excessive electrical energy due to the filling of water that exceeds the storage capacity so as to make it inefficient for the use of electrical energy as well as the water released. The research also limits the use of electrical energy at the end of the month, which makes this system more efficient compared to other systems.

Abstract

Media information has a very important role in efforts to attract prospective students to join. A website needs to be improved in the era of large technological developments. One of the new information media that utilizes the latest technology is a virtual tour. If you look at some of the previous ones, making a virtual tour can be made using panoramic photos made with image stitching techniques from many photos and can also use 3-dimensional engineering results. Both ways have their advantages and disadvantages. In this study, we will combine panoramic photos and 3D engineering to create a virtual tour of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Riau University. Virtual tour created using an equirectangular image base. There are 10 locations included in the virtual tour which four of them use panoramic photos and the remaining six places use 3D engineering. Four panoramic photos and six 3D-engineered equirectangular shapes are combined into one virtual tour. To validate the results of combining panoramic photos and 3D engineering into a virtual tour, user experience testing was conducted using a user experience questionnaire. User experience questionnaire was  distributed to 30 respondents. As a result, four scales are in the excellent category: attractiveness, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. Then two scales are included in the good category, namely perspicuity and efficiency, which get a value of 1.78. From the user experience perspective, virtual tours resulting from a combination of panoramic photos and 3D engineering in general can be considered very good. Then this combination of panoramic photos and 3D engineering can be used as a solution for virtual tour documentation if several locations are inadequate to document

Abstract

The global COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the health and lives of people worldwide, with high numbers of cases and fatalities. Rapid and accurate diagnosis is crucially important. Radiographic imaging, particularly chest radiography (CXR), has been considered for diagnosing suspected COVID-19 patients. CXR images offers quick imaging, affordability, and wide accessibility, making it pivotal for screening. However, the scarcity of CXR images remains due to the pandemic's recent emergence. To address this scarcity, this study harnesses the capabilities of Deep Convolutional Generative Adversarial Networks (DCGAN). DCGAN is a convolution-based GAN approach, has the potential to alleviate the scarcity of CXR data by generating authentic-looking synthetic images. This study combines synthetic CXR images with real CXR images to bolster model performance, resulting in an Extended Dataset. Extended Dataset comprises 7,345 images, with 34.63% being original CXR images and 65.37% being synthetic images produced by DCGAN. Expanded Dataset then utilized to train three pre-trained models: ResNet50, EfficientNetV1, and EfficientNetV2. The outcomes are remarkable, showcasing considerable enhancement in detection accuracy. Especially for the EfficientNetV1 model, it takes the lead with an impressive accuracy of 99.21% after merely ten epochs, achieved within a brief training period of 6.18 minutes. This surpasses the prior accuracy of 98.43% observed when used the Original Dataset (without synthetic CXR images). Overall, this research offers a solution to mitigate the scarcity of synthetic CXR images for COVID-19 detection. For future endeavors, refining the quality of synthetic images stands as an area for exploration, enhancing the overall efficacy of this approach.

Abstract

This paper presents the design and development of a mini-compact Wilkinson Power Divider (WPD) operating at 9.3 GHz, with a wide bandwidth of 200 MHz, for the Man-Pack Surveillance Radar (MPSR) application. The design of the WPD was carried out using Advanced Design System (ADS) software with a microstrip feeding technique. The substrate material used in this design was Duroid Roger 5880, which has a thickness (h) of 1.575 mm, dielectric constant (εr) of 2.20, and loss tangent (tan δ) of 0.0009. A WPD was designed, developed, and measured. The simulation results obtained included return loss (S11) -37.50 dB, (S22) -26.59 dB, (S33) -26.09 dB, insertion loss (S21) -3.61 dB and (S31) - 2.55 dB, and isolation (S32) -12.89 dB. Overall, the simulation result parameters worked at a frequency of 9.3 GHz. Furthermore, when the WPD measurement produces a measured return loss of (S11) -28.69 dB, (S22) -28.5 dB, (S33) -29.95 dB, insertion loss (S21) -6.61 dB, and (S31) -7.55 dB, and isolation (S32) -21.89 dB. The dimensions resulting from the realization were 20.5 mm x 20 mm.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah alat pemberi pakan ikan otomatis berbasis IoT (Internet of Things) yang dapat memberikan pakan sesuai jadwal dan kebutuhan nafsu makan ikan kemudian memberikan notifikasi ketika pakan telah berhasil diberikan. Alat yang di rancang juga didukung dengan sebuah database yang mampu menyimpan seluruh riwayat pemberian pakan. Setelah dilakukan pengujian maka dapat disimpulkan alat bekerja dengan baik karena dapat memberikan pakan secara otomatis sesuai jadwal dan kebutuhan nafsu makan ikan serta mengirimkan dan menyimpan data hasil pemberian pakan. Secara menyuluruh alat juga dapat dikatakan akurat karena memiliki persentase rata rata error yaitu dibawah 1%.Kata kunci : IoT, Otomatis, Ikan Patin, Budidaya In this research, an automatic fish feeder device based on IoT (Internet of Things) is designed to provide feed according to the schedule and the fish's appetite needs and to send notifications when the feed has been successfully given. The designed device is also supported by a database that can store the entire history of feedings. After conducting tests, it can be concluded that the device works well because it can provide feed automatically according to the schedule and the fish's appetite needs, and it can send and store data on feedings. Overall, the device can be considered accurate as it has an average error percentage of less than 1%. Keywords: IoT, Automatic, Catfish, Aquaculture.

Abstract

Jurusan Teknik Elektro adalah salah satu jurusan yang dalam proses pembuatan jadwal perkuliahan masih menggunakan cara manual yaitu menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan belum memiliki sistem yang dapat mengoptimalkan proses pembuatan jadwal tersebut. Banyaknya parameter dalam pembuatan jadwal, jumlah dosen dan ruang kelas yang terbatas, adanya kriteria-kriteria penjadwalan, serta tidak meratanya jadwal dosen merupakan permasalahan pada penelitian ini sehingga proses penjadwalan menggunakan cara manual menjadi tidak efektif. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan pernjadwalan tersebut, penulis mengambil penelitian tentang perancangan Sistem Penjadwalan Perkuliahan Menggunakan Algoritma Genetika pada Jurusan Teknik Elektro Universitas Riau. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode algoritma genetika dalam pembuatan jadwal mata kuliah. Pada sistem penjadwalan ini menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem prototype. Metode prototype yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu Analisis Kebutuhan, Pembuatan Prototipe, dan Pengujian. Berdasarkan pengujian functionality yang telah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa nilai X = 1 yang berarti fitur dan fungsi-fungsi yang terdapat pada sistem penjadwalan perkuliahan ini berhasil 100% dan berdasarkan pengujian parameter oleh expert, bahwa algoritma genetika berhasil memecahkan permasalahan tersebut dengan pembuatan jadwal yang sudah sesuai dengan kriteria-kriteria penjadwalan, interval waktu yang merata pada setiap dosen, dan waktu yang digunakan dalam pembuatan jadwal lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan pembuatan jadwal secara manual, namun masih terdapat bentrok pada ruangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi kompetensi pedagogik guru abad ke-21 dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran geografi di SMAN 1 Sape, Kabupaten Bima. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi aspek-aspek penting kompetensi pedagogik, seperti pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi, penggunaan model pembelajaran vokasional, dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK), serta menilai kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam pengembangan kompetensi ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model interaktif yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sembilan aspek kompetensi pedagogik, termasuk penyusunan RPP, pemahaman karakteristik peserta didik, dan penggunaan media pembelajaran kontekstual, sangat penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran geografi. Namun, guru menghadapi kendala seperti kurangnya wawasan pedagogik, terbatasnya sarana-prasarana, dan kurangnya update penggunaan TIK. Meskipun demikian, penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik yang memadai dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih menarik dan relevan bagi siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan program pelatihan guru dan dukungan fasilitas untuk mengatasi kendala yang ada dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SMAN 1 Sape.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) guru berbasis kompetensi profesional di SMP IT Islam Terpadu Nurul Khalifah Bima. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi komponen utama kompetensi profesional, termasuk keyakinan, nilai moral, karakteristik kepribadian, isu emosional, sikap profesional, pengetahuan dasar, dan kemampuan intelektual, serta mengeksplorasi upaya pengembangan strategis yang melibatkan guru itu sendiri, rekan kerja, dan pihak sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif, meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan SDM yang efektif, termasuk pendampingan, pelatihan, workshop, studi banding, dan pendidikan berkelanjutan, sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru. Selain itu, peningkatan kesejahteraan guru dan manajemen beban kerja mereka juga krusial untuk menciptakan lingkungan pengajaran yang mendukung. Penelitian ini menyoroti bahwa pengintegrasian berbagai pendekatan pengembangan secara signifikan mempengaruhi kompetensi profesional guru dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SMP IT Nurul Khalifah Bima. Model pengembangan yang komprehensif ini membantu mengoptimalkan kinerja guru dan memperbaiki hasil belajar siswa, menunjukkan pentingnya pengembangan SDM yang berkelanjutan dan strategis dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

The website is something that is familiar to hear at this time, where the world of technology, especially the internet, is developing rapidly. The development of the internet, in this case the website, is not only felt and used by business people, but also by the wider community, especially small businesses. The analytical method in this study uses the Automated usability testing tools approach which is used to test website performance. The performance is based on several general parameters, namely: performance, no of requests. Speed load time, page size. Parameter testing is measured using several tools: Pingdom, GTMetrix, Website Grader, Page Speed Insight, Site Analyzer and other Web Page Analyzer tools, performance is at a percentage of 30-38% and structure is at a percentage of 65-76%. The lowest access speed is 6.3 s and the highest is 29.5 s. Based on performance tests it is known that the system runs slowly and on average takes a long time, because image optimization means optimizing image size, so that image file sizes can be reduced. Measuring quality of experience (QoE) parameters on websites is very important to increase user satisfaction and reduce failure rate in the use of the website. Several QoE parameters that can be measured include load time, response speed, display quality, ease of use, user interface responsiveness, availability, reliability, and social interaction.

Abstract

SMAN 1 Nagajuang merupakan sekolah multikultural dan multiagama. Pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023, jumlah siswa sebanyak 134 siswa yang terdiri dari 48,5% beragama Islam dan 51,5% non-Muslim. Namun belum ada bahan ajar khusus terkait moderasi beragama di sekolah ini yang sesuai dengan kondisi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar PAI berbasis multikultural untuk membentuk sikap moderasi beragama siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan angket yang melibatkan siswa, guru dan kepala sekolah, data diolah secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah buku teks dengan judul: Buku Pendidikan Agama Islam Berbasis Moderasi Beragama untuk SMAN 1 Nagajuang Kelas XI, yang terdiri dari sampul, pendahuluan, daftar isi, kompetensi inti dan kompetensi dasar (KI dan KD), pedoman penggunaan buku, materi terpadu sikap dan prinsip moderasi beragama dalam 5 bab, referensi dan glosarium. Total skor uji validitas bahan ajar ini sebesar 80,75% dengan kualifikasi valid dan total skor uji praktikalitas sebesar 86,80% dengan kualifikasi sangat praktis. Jadi buku ajar ini dinilai valid, praktis dan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar kelas XI SMAN 1 Nagajuang.
