Abstract

AbstrakKetidakberhasilan sekolah dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikannya seringkali dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya kemampuan sekolah dalam menyusun rencana strategis. Selain itu, masih banyak sekolah yang belum memiliki rencana strategis atau hanya sekedar disusun sebagai formalitas saja tanpa dijadikan sebagai pedoman pengembangan sekolah. Artikel ini menganalisis perencanaan strategis di SDIT At-Taqwa Surabaya, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan-tahapan dalam perencanaan Strategis (Renstra) sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui observasi dan wawancara langsung dengaan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam Renstra SDIT At-Taqwa Surabaya disusun dalam Rencana Kerja Jangka Menengah (RKJM), dengan tahapan meliputi pembentukan tim, analisis internal dan eksternal dengan pendekatan SWOT, dan penyusunan strategi sekolah. Dalam penyusunannya pun sekolah melibatkan semua stakeholder baik akademik maupun no-akademik. Abstract The failure of schools to achieve their educational goals is often influenced by the school's lack of ability to develop strategic plans. In addition, many schools still do not have a strategic plan or are just prepared as a formality without being used as a guideline for school development. This article analyzes strategic planning at SDIT At-Taqwa Surabaya, to know the stages in preparing the school's Strategic Plan (Renstra). This study used qualitative methods by collecting data through observation and direct interviews with school principals. The results showed that the SDIT At-Taqwa Surabaya Strategic Plan was prepared in the Medium-Term Work Plan (RKJM), with stages including team building, internal and external analysis with a SWOT approach, and school strategy preparation. In its preparation, the school also involves all academic and non-academic stakeholders.

Abstract

This study aims to clearly describe the implementation of the National Science Olympiad organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Pattimura University Ambon and its impact on improving the quality of education. The focus of the research is the process of organizing the national science olympiad, and its impact on improving the quality of education. This study uses qualitative research. The data collection methods are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the National Science Olympiad involves elementary, junior high, high school, and vocational school students throughout Maluku with a total of 3,323 participants. The region, which is dubbed as a sea-based archipelago province, is not a barrier for students to compete to be the best. As a result, when students excel in a competition, the quality of education will be better. The supporting factors for the implementation of the National Science Olympiad are internal and external factors. Internal factors come from within students, while external factors come from the school environment and family environment. The inhibiting factors are the cost and location of the competition. Some of the implications of this research: Education Policy Design; Curriculum development; Teacher Training and Development; Increasing Student Participation; and Extracurricular Program Development. Research at the National Science Olympiad has made significant contributions to the following aspects: Development of Academic Knowledge; Improvement of Educational Practices; Support for Policy Makers; Motivation for students; and Strengthening Research Networks.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan analisis komprehensif tentang peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan institusi pendidikan melalui kepemimpinan yang efektif. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), kadang disebut juga dengan metode penelitian tinjauan pustaka. Literatur yang digunakan berasal dari berbagai sumber. Menurut berbagai sumber literatur, kepemimpinan utama dalam lembaga pendidikan mengacu pada kapasitas seorang pemimpin untuk secara efektif mempengaruhi dan menyatukan individu menuju tujuan bersama suatu kelompok atau organisasi. Kepala sekolah adalah individu yang mengemban peran kepemimpinan dalam bidang pendidikan dan mempunyai tanggung jawab besar dalam memajukan sekolah yang dipimpinnya. Dalam hal ini kemajuan sekolah tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kemajuannya saja, melainkan oleh adanya jiwa kepemimpinan yang kuat. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam suatu lembaga pendidikan mengacu pada kapasitas seorang pemimpin dalam memberikan pengaruh dan menggalang individu menuju tujuan kolektif suatu kelompok atau organisasi. Kepala sekolah adalah individu yang mengemban peran kepemimpinan dalam bidang pendidikan dan mempunyai tanggung jawab besar dalam memajukan sekolah yang dipimpinnya. Dalam hal ini, faktor krusialnya bukan hanya kemajuan sekolah saja, melainkan adanya etos kepemimpinan yang kuat.

Abstract

This study examines leadership values ​​that inspire in building superior vocational high schools, including creative, innovative, proactive, risk taking, communicative, motivational, personal, and strategy. This type of research is a case study where data is collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, document analysis, and observation of audio visual material. The analysis was carried out by making transcriptions of data, notes, video recordings, and documents; generate ideas, codify data, design themes and interpret data. The results show that entrepreneurial leadership has a positive effect on the performance of leaders. This article is expected to be a guide for school principals in obtaining and practicing inspiring entrepreneurial leadership values ​​to increase the effectiveness of their schools and to facilitate the process of a quality school. Regarding the results, this study implies that inspiring leadership serves as one of the key factors for building excellent vocational high schools. However, due to the limitations of this study, further research is needed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di SMAN 1 Krian. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan observasi, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di SMAN 1 Krian. Kepala sekolah, melalui pendekatan supervisi yang terarah, mampu memberikan arahan, bimbingan, dan dukungan kepada guru-guru untuk mengembangkan keterampilan pengajaran mereka. Umpan balik yang konstruktif dari kepala sekolah membantu guru-guru dalam mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan area pengembangan, serta memberikan dorongan untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran mereka. Selain itu, kepala sekolah yang efektif sebagai supervisor juga mampu menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kolaboratif dan memotivasi guru-guru untuk terus belajar dan mengembangkan keterampilan mereka. Hal ini membantu menciptakan budaya sekolah yang progresif dan inovatif, di mana guru-guru merasa didorong untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran mereka demi kebaikan siswa.

Abstract

The background of this research begins with social life in Ambon City which has various ethnicities, religions, and cultures. This diversity often becomes a challenge as well as an opportunity in the world of education. SMA Negeri 3 Ambon is one of the schools that stands out because it prioritizes the local value of "sibling life" in the management of multicultural education. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of multicultural education management based on the character of sibling life at SMA Negeri 3 Ambon. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that education management at SMA Negeri 3 Ambon integrates the values ​​of sibling life into school policies, student behavioral habits, and also curriculum development and extracurricular activities. Values ​​such as mutual respect, tolerance, and solidarity are part of the school culture and help strengthen relationships between school residents. In conclusion, multicultural education management based on local character at SMA Negeri 3 Ambon has succeeded in creating a harmonious, inclusive, and character-based learning atmosphere and is an example of appropriate education in a diverse society.

Abstract

Learner management can function as a platform that promotes growth, quality, and achievement in educational institutions. Students are effectively supervised and controlled to ensure that educational institutions can accurately assess the progress of students' achievements. Student management is the administrative process that encompasses all actions related to students, starting from their enrollment in school until their graduation. This process involves many tasks such as coaching, planning, evaluation, and transfer. The objective of this study is to ascertain the administrative procedures involved in managing high school students. The study methodology employed is descriptive qualitative, utilizing a phenomenon-oriented research technique. The research employs data gathering approaches such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that nearly all schools have successfully implemented student management systems that are tailored to the unique characteristics of each school. The student management process encompasses several tasks such as student planning, student acceptance and selection, student grouping, attendance and absence management, student evaluation, extracurricular activities and OSIS, management of student transfers and dropouts, as well as handling graduates and alumni.

Abstract

In the world of education, Total Quality Management (TQM) is the main weapon in improving the overall quality of education. One of the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM) is customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is the most important priority in an organization, so organizations must focus on customers. The purpose of this research is to find out how SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman satisfies customers. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods using interviews with the director of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman has a very good way of implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) based on customer satisfaction. This is proven by the fact that SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman really minimizes free hours in subjects. SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman also facilitates students to study outside of class hours with their teaching staff in preparation for taking part in Olympics or competitions. In cultivating discipline, teaching staff and educational staff display behavior that shows a disciplined attitude towards time. When accepting new students (PPDB) at the initial stage, accepted students will be given a psychological test first. This is aimed at understanding the needs of students. Apart from that, SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman public relations always conveys information quickly when there is new news, policies and regulations.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan perempuan memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, terutama di daerah yang memiliki potensi sumber daya lokal yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Namun, keterbatasan keterampilan dan akses terhadap teknologi serta pasar menjadi kendala bagi perempuan dalam mengembangkan potensi ekonomi mereka. Tujuan program pengabdian ini untuk Meningkatkan Perekonomian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas perempuan dalam mengelola dan memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal secara efektif. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang melibatkan peserta secara aktif dalam seluruh proses, mulai dari identifikasi sumber daya, pelatihan keterampilan, hingga evaluasi bersama. Para peserta diberikan pelatihan mengenai kewirausahaan, pengelolaan produk lokal, serta pemasaran digital. Pendampingan dilakukan secara intensif untuk memastikan keberlanjutan usaha mereka. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa 80% peserta mengalami peningkatan keterampilan dalam mengolah produk lokal dan berhasil memasarkan produk mereka secara lebih luas melalui platform digital. Selain itu, pendapatan rata-rata peserta meningkat sebesar 30%, yang berdampak langsung pada kesejahteraan keluarga. Kesimpulannya, pemberdayaan perempuan melalui optimalisasi sumber daya lokal terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Namun, diperlukan pendampingan jangka panjang untuk memperkuat keterampilan digital dan mengatasi hambatan sosial-budaya yang masih membatasi peran perempuan di sektor ekonomi.
