Abstract

Literacy is the activity of reading, understanding, and applying information that is an essential foundation for children in their golden age. The Indonesian School of Bangkok faces challenges in literacy in early grades that affect students' abilities related to reading, writing, and understanding texts. Teachers/educators must use a comprehensive and progressive approach in teaching literacy to foster children's reading interests and critical thinking skills. The mentoring program carried out aims to train early-grade teachers in literacy instruction. The mentoring methods included identifying needs, focus group discussions (FGDs) using a share and care approach, practice, and evaluation. The results showed significance, with an average score above 80 for aspects such as participant numbers, the conditioning of the support process, the competence of the resource persons, and the presentation of materials. Participants demonstrated improved understanding and readiness to apply new techniques. Positive feedback suggests that support was highly relevant and applicable, enhancing literacy teaching abilities at the Indonesian School of Bangkok. Recommendations include integrating more technology and interactive methods to enrich student's learning experiences and encouraging teacher collaboration to strengthen the implementation of techniques learned in the classroom.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is a new curriculum that requires the readiness of teachers and students to use technological information in implementing learning. Digital literacy can no longer be separated from learning in the current era. The aim of this community service is to prepare teachers to implement the Independent Curriculum, especially strengthening digital literacy. Before the training process, not all of the participants had digital literacy skills, so some teachers and students did not understand how to effectively use digital information media. Digital literacy training needs to be implemented because it is a practical solution for building digital literacy competencies for teachers in the independent learning curriculum. The results of the training showed that the teachers at SD Negeri Lakar Santri I Surabaya were very happy and satisfied taking part in the digital literacy training. Insight into the independent learning curriculum is increasing so teachers will continue to try to adapt to technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana standar manajemen pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas belajar peserta didik di SMPN 40 Surabaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dimana di lakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi nontekstual. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh mutu tenaga pendidik terhadap keberlangsungan proses pembelajaran di bidang pendidikan, khususnya peran dan signifikansi tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan dalam pembentukan karakter bangsa melalui proses pembelajaran. Meskipun teknologi telah berkembang pesat sebagai tambahan dalam proses belajar-mengajar, peran guru tetap menjadi elemen kunci dalam masyarakat Indonesia. Keberhasilan suatu lembaga pendidikan tercermin dari kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap kemampuan pendidiknya dalam memberikan pendidikan berkualitas kepada anak-anak mereka. Manajemen pendidik dan kependidikan di semua tingkatan memegang peranan penting dalam menetapkan standar mutu pendidikan serta meningkatkan kualitasnya. Dukungan dari berbagai pihak seperti komite sekolah, lembaga pendidikan, dan pemerintah sangat diperlukan untuk memastikan tugas dan fungsi mereka terlaksana dengan baik, sementara inovasi diperlukan untuk mengembangkan sekolah dan meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The importance of optimizing leadership in educational institutions has now become an absolute necessity to achieve maximum results. This study highlights the implementation of leadership as a means to leverage various resources, explore opportunities, solve challenges and lead organizations to successfully achieve goals. In particular, this case study research has the aim of reviewing and implementing the implementation of innovation and entrepreneurial leadership of school principals in creating a learning environment. Thirty vocational high school teachers and two vocational high school principals acted as informants in this study. Through the use of Miles and Huberman's interactive qualitative analysis model, the results of his research indicate that the principal in implementing entrepreneurial leadership uses two ways. First, the principal manages organizational growth by optimizing, communicating, motivating, monitoring, controlling, exemplary and empowering. Second, the principal creates innovation through several improvements: vision building, staff development and restructuring. The implication is that it can create a positive learning environment for school members, encouraging them to innovate in academic and non-academic fields. It is necessary to help principals create a positive learning environment. In addition, the findings of this study can be a reference for applying entrepreneurial leadership to support teachers and students in making some innovations.

Abstract

The research aims to know the factors that influence optimizing vocational high school facilities and infrastructure. By optimizing vocational high school facilities and infrastructure, it becomes strategic enough to contributeto the administrative performance, quality of learning, and quality of graduates. The research used a quantitative approach using questioners as the instruments of data collection with several 124 respondents.The analysis technique used a multiple regression test with one dependent variable and four independent variables. The results of the research conclude that the factors of student need (ρ = 0,016) and motivation (ρ = 0,024) significantly influence while the factor of rule (ρ = 0,169) and partnership (ρ = 0,108) do not significantly influence the optimization of facilities and infrastructures in Vocational High School.The four factors have a significant effect on ρ = 0,000.

Abstract

It's interesting to do research on organizational culture because it relates to the unique characteristics that distinguish one organization from the other. One of the things that distinguishes an organization from another is the system of meaning adopted by all its members. Therefore, organizational culture must help the growth of the organization, especially by increasing the retention of employees, both individuals and teams. Organizational development is crucial because without it, the company cannot function. In order for the results to be profitable, appropriate improvements must continue to be made and incorporated into the current organizational culture. A culture within an organization can influence change and be a driving factor in its growth. Finding out how important organizational culture is in building healthy organizations is the goal of this writing through a comprehensive literature review. The method used is to conduct a systematic study of various related literary sources, such as scientific journals, books, and previous research reports. New strategies for organizational development are needed to obtain more complete and valid data on how organizational culture correlates with organizational growth. The results of the literature survey show that a positive organizational culture, characterized by values such as mutual respect, collaboration, trust, and openness, has a significant impact on the performance of teachers and educators. This positive culture increases motivation, job satisfaction, and encourages sustainable professional development.

Abstract

Peran manajemen hubungan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat menjadi fokus kajian artikel ini. Metode penelitian artikel ini didasarkan pada systematic literature review yang diambil dari sembilan jurnal nasional yang berasal dari jurnal penelitian empiris. Pertanyaan penelitian diidentifikasi, protokol systematic literature review dikembangkan, perpustakaan digital diidentifikasi sebagai area pencarian, hasil penelitian yang relevan disaring, hasil penelitian berkualitas dipilih, data diambil dari penelitian individual, meta-analisis atau meta-sintesis dilakukan, dan akhirnya hasilnya disajikan. Temuan penelitian ini mendukung gagasan bahwa manajemen hubungan masyarakat memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat di lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

The government encourages vocational high schools (SMK) to carry out organizational transformation to become SMKs for Regional Public Service Bodies (SMK-BLUD). Through BLUDs, SMKs that have excellent products can manage finances and production processes more flexibly without violating regulations, so that entrepreneurial leadership effectiveness can be achieved. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the effectiveness of entrepreneurial leadership in vocational high schools using PLS-SEM analysis. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 180 respondents, including teachers, school principals, and committee members at 23 SMK-BLUDs in East Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta. It is known that the variables of regulation, teacher support, self-capacity, and infrastructure have a positive and significant influence on the quality of entrepreneurial leadership. In addition, the existence of partnerships for each school indirectly has a positive and significant influence on the quality of entrepreneurial leadership. The results of this model show a predictive relevance (Q2) value of 0.96, meaning that this model has good predictive relevance.

Abstract

Asrama dalam sebuah Lembaga Pendidikan Kristen tidak hanya berfungsi untuk menjadi tempat penampungan peserta didik saja, tetapi juga merupakan wadah peserta didik saling belajar budaya daerah masing-masing, belajar bersosialisasi, belajar untuk melatih kepekaan atau keperdulian, belajar untuk taat dan tunduk pada pembina, serta menjadi pribadi yang memiliki karakter kristus. Di dalam lapangan tidak dipungkiri terdapat banyak masalah, seperti misalnya permasalahan karena latar belakang mahasiswa yang beragam, kedisiplinan mahasiswa, interaksi sosial mahasiswa dengan dunia luar, pola adaptasi mahasiswa di asrama yang beragam, dan masih banyak hal lainnya. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif diskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pelaksanaan dan pengelolaan manajemen layanan asrama berjalan dengan baik dilaksanakan di SMA Pangudi Luhur Van Lith Muntilan Magelang. Implementasi manajemen layanan asrama diimplikasikan secara holistik dan ideal, yaitu (1) model pembinaan yang berpusat pada hal rohani; (2) model pembinaan transformative; (3) model pembinaan integratif dan holistic; (4) model disiplin terstruktur; (5) model pembinaan proyektif dan antisipatif; serta (6) model pembinaan teamwork.
