Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis interaksi kelas dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di kelas VII-A SMPIT Almaka Jakarta Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan pendekatan analisis wacana interaksi kelas yang terdiri dari pelajaran, transaksi, pertukaran, gerak, dan tindakan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik rekaman yang selanjutnya dianalisis melalui tahapan- tahapan yaitu (1) transkripsi data; (2) pengkodean data; (3) interpretasi data; dan (4) simpulan data. Setelah semua data terkumpul, selanjutnya dianalisis mengacu pada pola IRF (Initiate-Response-Feedback) Sinclair dan Coulthard. Wacana interaksi kelas selama pembelajaran bahasa Arab menunjukkan adanya pelajaran, transaksi, pertukaran, gerak, dan tindak. Pelajaran yaitu unit tertinggi dalam struktur wacana kelas berupa materi pelajaran. Transaksi yaitu kesepakatan antara guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran yang terbentuk dari rangkaian pertukaran. Pertukaran berfungsi sebagai penanda dalam beberapa sub bagian topik pelajaran. Gerak berfungsi sebagai unit yang mengklasifikasikan berbagai tindakan guru maupun siswa dalam interaksi pembelajaran. Tindakan yaitu performansi atas tuturan guru maupun siswa dalam interaksi pembelajaran. Pola interaksi IRF dalam wacana interaksi kelas berkembang menjadi beragam pertukaran IRF.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe various information regarding the implementation of ṭarīqah an-nuṣūṣ al-mutakāmilah in qawā'id al-‘arabiyyah learning. This research paradigm is interpretive with a qualitative approach. The research method used is a case study. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and document analysis. The data analysis technique in this research uses pattern-matching theory. The results showed that ṭarīqah an-nuṣūṣ al-mutakāmilah is an applicative and interactive learning method based on Arabic texts used to improve the ability of qawā'id al- 'arabiyyah to students. This method can help students apply the material quickly. Teachers and students are actively involved in learning and use supporting books published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in 2020.

Abstract

The pressing challenges of our time necessitate the involvement of Arabic language education in achieving SDG 4: Quality Education, particularly in specialized contexts like the military. This study examines the language management system in military Arabic language education at Pusdik Pengmilum Cimahi, Indonesia. It emphasizes its alignment with SDG 4 through knowledge and skills development, attitude and behavior formation, and physical fitness enhancement. Using an exploratory case study approach, data were collected via observation, interviews, and document analysis and analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that military Arabic education is integrated into the Indonesian Army’s core responsibilities, guided by 12 regulatory mechanisms. These mechanisms ensure a structured approach to curriculum design, learner discipline, and operational readiness. For example, knowledge development enhances Arabic proficiency for specific military purposes, while attitude formation fosters cultural competence essential for global citizenship. This study demonstrates how military Arabic education contributes to quality education outcomes, including linguistic skills and intercultural awareness, aligning with sustainable development goals. It offers practical insights for integrating SDG principles into specialized education systems. This study highlights the role of military Arabic education in achieving SDG 4, offering insights into integrating SDG principles into specialized education. Future research could explore implementation in diverse contexts, evaluate long-term impacts, incorporate educational technology, analyze intercultural effects, and link Arabic education to other SDGs like peace and justice

Abstract

This community service aims to improve students' understanding of Arabic language learning by integrating local folklore as a learning medium. This program is implemented by the Arabic Language Education Study Program FPBS UPI in collaboration with the Malaysian Teacher Education Institute (IPG). The methods used include focus group discussions and ethnographic approaches to explore students' needs and adapt folklore from the origins of Bandung City into teaching materials. The results of the community service show that the use of folklore not only improves students' understanding of Arabic vocabulary and structure but also enriches their insight into local culture. The impact of this program is seen in the increasing involvement of students in the learning process and the creation of more contextual and relevant learning. This culture-based approach provides an innovative alternative in foreign language learning oriented towards society's benefit.

Abstract

Pragmatic sentences are contained in verses of the Qur'an that have a distinctive style of language and nuance of sentences. Taqdim or precedence becomes its own beauty in the order of the word style of Al-Quran. In addition to the beauty of the style of language has a goal or meaning that will affect its readers. However, this may not be achieved well in a translation because of the lack of understanding. Therefore this study aims to present the pragmatic translation of taqdim on muta'aliqat jar from amilnya in Al-Quran Juz 30. The research method used is literature study method with purposive research design. The results of this research on Juz 30 indicate the beauty of the style of Al-Quran language that has its own meaning and purpose. The purpose of taqdim on muta'aliqat jar from its amil among others istikhshash, ta'lilul adzab akbar, tasydidul wa'id.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab di era digital menuntut inovasi media yang interaktif dan kontekstual agar sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi Lumi Education dalam pengembangan buku digital interaktif serta merumuskan strategi implementatif yang efektif dalam proses pembelajaran. Kesenjangan penelitian yang diangkat adalah masih terbatasnya pemanfaatan platform digital interaktif seperti Lumi Education secara spesifik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, terutama yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan integratif, kontekstual, dan adaptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi pustaka dan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lumi Education mampu mendukung penguasaan keterampilan berbahasa Arab secara menyeluruh melalui konten H5P yang variatif dan mudah digunakan. Strategi implementasi mencakup strategi integratif yaitu penggabungan keterampilan bahasa dengan literasi digital dan nilai karakter, kontekstual yaitu pengaitan materi dengan kehidupan nyata siswa, serta adaptif yaitu penyesuaian konten dengan gaya dan kemampuan belajar individu. Lumi Education terbukti menjadi platform strategis dalam mentransformasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab menjadi lebih efektif dan bermakna.

Abstract

The Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program is gaining global interest, yet its learning process still faces various challenges. This study aims to identify and analyze difficulties experienced by international students in learning Indonesian at the Language Center of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews with two foreign students. The findings reveal that the main challenges include vocabulary acquisition, differences in grammatical structure, accent adaptation, as well as adjusting to Indonesian culture and native speakers’ speaking speed. Proposed solutions involve repeated practice, direct interaction with native speakers, and the use of interactive learning methods. In conclusion, a deeper understanding of these challenges can help design more effective and adaptive BIPA learning strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to identify factors of language difficulties among Arabic-speaking students at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta from Yemen in learning Indonesian. The research method used is qualitative research with interviews as the data collection technique. The process involves open-ended questions that allow respondents to explain their views in detail, while the researcher takes notes, analyzing the data collected. The results of this research are that there are two factors of difficulty in speaking Indonesian among Arabic speakers from Yemen, students at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, namely internal factors such as feeling foreign to Indonesian, significant differences in structure and vocabulary with Arabic, and a lack of guidance in the learning process. And the second is external factors such as the use of regional languages ​​by the surrounding environment which makes understanding and communication difficult.

Abstract

The 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly sub-target 4.6, aim to enhance literacy and numeracy skills among adolescents and adults by the year 2030. This study analyzes the mahārat al-kitābah content in the Grade 2 Arabic textbook for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2020, from the perspective of Rushdī Aḥmad Ṭu‘aymah, and examines its role in supporting the SDGs. Using a qualitative method with content analysis as the primary data collection technique, the study finds that the textbook aligns with Ṭu‘aymah’s framework for teaching mahārat al-kitābah. The content includes recognizing the shapes of hijā’iyah letters, copying letters and words, writing simple sentences, and answering questions in written form. Overall, the mahārat al-kitābah content in the textbook supports foundational Arabic writing skills and contributes to the achievement of SDG 4 by promoting multilingual literacy, equitable access to literacy development, comprehensive language competence, and quality education.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in the world of education, including in learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA). One of the popular platforms used is YouTube, which provides various types of learning content that is multimodal, flexible, and easily accessible. This study aims to examine the influence of YouTube content on the success of learning Indonesian for foreign speakers, both in terms of motivation, language skills, and obstacles faced. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological method to explore the subjective experience of foreign learners in using YouTube as a learning tool. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation of learning activities of two foreign resource persons studying at the Language Center of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The results show that the use of YouTube can improve oral comprehension, enrich vocabulary, and provide a fun learning experience. In addition, YouTube also contributes to increasing participants' learning motivation through interesting content such as vlogs, cartoons, and Indonesian news. However, some challenges were also found, such as listening difficulties due to the speed of native speakers' speech, the use of non-standard language, and the incompatibility between YouTube content and formal classroom materials. Thus, it can be concluded that YouTube is a potential and effective media in BIPA learning, but its use needs to be accompanied by digital literacy skills and guidance in choosing appropriate content. ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi digital membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA). Salah satu platform yang populer digunakan adalah YouTube, yang menyediakan berbagai jenis konten pembelajaran yang bersifat multimodal, fleksibel, dan mudah diakses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh konten YouTube terhadap keberhasilan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing, baik dari segi motivasi, keterampilan berbahasa, maupun kendala yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi untuk menggali pengalaman subjektif pembelajar asing dalam menggunakan YouTube sebagai sarana belajar. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi aktivitas belajar dua narasumber asing yang belajar di Balai Bahasa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan YouTube dapat meningkatkan pemahaman lisan, memperkaya kosakata, dan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan. Selain itu, YouTube juga berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta melalui konten-konten menarik seperti vlog, kartun, dan berita berbahasa Indonesia. Namun demikian, beberapa tantangan juga ditemukan, seperti kesulitan menyimak karena kecepatan bicara penutur asli, penggunaan bahasa tidak baku, serta ketidaksesuaian antara konten YouTube dan materi formal di kelas. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa YouTube merupakan media yang potensial dan efektif dalam pembelajaran BIPA, namun penggunaannya perlu disertai dengan kemampuan literasi digital serta bimbingan dalam memilih konten yang sesuai.
