Abstract

The Nurul Falah Islamic Boarding School has a program that runs from year to year which focuses on improving the knowledge of Arabic language and fiqh which is packaged in the Musabaqoh Qira'atil Polar (MQK). Arabic linguistics in Musabaqah Qira'atil Polar (MQK) is studied using the yellow book, this is because Islamic boarding schools use the yellow book as their teaching material. Therefore, this research aims to observe the role of Musabaqah Qira'atil Polar (MQK) especially in learning Arabic in terms of maharah kalam (speaking skills), maharah Qira'ah (reading skills), and Qawa'id wa tarjamah ( grammar and translation). The research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach, data obtained from interviews, observation and documentation. Then the data was analyzed by triangulation, with stages of data collection (interviews, observation and documentation), data reduction, data presentation, and finally verification. From the results of the research findings, it can be concluded that the MQK carried out in Islamic boarding schools plays a very important role in learning Arabic language knowledge, this is obtained from the preparation process, implementation, and afterwards. Abstract

This research is based on many of university students who use e-commerce. The purpose of this study is to find out students' behavior in buying goods in e-commerce and whether they use the principles of maqashid al-sharia or not. The principles of maqashid al-sharia used are the maintenance of religion (hifz al-din), the maintenance of the soul (hifz al-nafs), the maintenance of reason (hifz al-‘aql), the maintenance of offspring (hifz al-nasl), the maintenance of assets (hifz al-mal), and the maintenance of the environment (hifz al-biah). This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological abbreviation. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling. This sample of research totaled 45 1st level students of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The results of the study show that students have not fully used the principles of maqashid sharia in the use of e-commerce, so students behave consumptuantly. In the principle of religious protection, it is known that not all students buy goods with the intention of worship, in the principle of preserving reason, students cannot decide properly the priority of the goods to be purchased, on the principle of spiritual care, students cannot resist the lust to buy goods that are by the usefulness, on the principle that the descendants of students have not been able to save money for the future, In the principle of assets, students were found to use the pay later feature. And on the principle of protecting the environment, students still need education in the recycling system of goods that have been purchased.

Abstract

Interaksi guru-siswa merupakan elemen penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, khususnya dalam memfasilitasi penerapan kemampuan bahasa dalam konteks nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pola komunikasi dengan model IRF (Initiation-Response-Feedback) yang digunakan guru dan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Arab di kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif analisis wacana kelas. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari seorang guru bahasa Arab dan 71 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas dan dianalisis menggunakan kerangka kerja model IRF Sinclair dan Coulthard. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wacana interaksi kelas selama pembelajaran bahasa Arab terdiri dari lesson, transactions, exchange, move, dan act. Lesson mengacu pada topik pembelajaran, transactions melibatkan pertukaran informasi antara guru dan siswa, exchange merupakan interaksi timbal balik, move mewakili tindakan individual, dan act adalah unit terkecil dari interaksi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model IRF menjadi pola komunikasi yang dominan dalam interaksi guru-siswa di kelas bahasa Arab. Penggunaan model IRF secara efektif memfasilitasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan mendorong partisipasi siswa, meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, dan mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi bahasa Arab.

Abstract

Purpose-This study aims to explore the use of uslūb muqābalah in Surah Al-Lail by combining the classical badī' approach and the theory of relevance of modern cognitive linguistics. The beauty of muqābalah will be difficult to understand by those who do not understand the meaning of the Qur'an because its charm lies in the depth of the meaning of its verses.  Design/Methodology/Approach- The research uses qualitative discourse analysis based on literature studies and contextual interpretation of muqābalah verses. The focus of the study is the process of pairing opposing meanings forming rhetorical structures and cognitive devices in the delivery of implicit messages. Findings—The results of the study show that the pattern of couples in Surah Al-Lail, such as night and day, giving and file, strengthens aesthetic beauty while optimizing the relevance of meaning. The principle of optimal relevance encourages the inferential drawing of moral conclusions with minimal cognitive effort. Research Limitation/Implications- This research is limited to Surah Al-Lail and does not compare it with other suras. However, this study contributes to developing an interdisciplinary approach between balāghah and pragmatic linguistics, which is useful for innovation in the teaching of tafsir and Arabic.

Abstract

Muthola’ah menjadi salah satu cabang mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab yang dipelajari oleh siswa dalam mengembangkan maharoh qiroah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengoptimalkan efektifitas kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah dalam kajian ilmu muthola'ah dengan bantuan alat peraga berupa media gambar yang dibentuk seperti wayang. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus.  Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 7B SMP 2 Daar el-Qolam yang berjumlah 25 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 13 perempuan dan 12 laki-laki. Prosedur penelitian diawali dengan penetapan fokus masalah, perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan serta analisis, dan refleksi. Teknik pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tes, observasi dan wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga berupa wayang dapat mengefektifkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran muthola'ah di kelas 7b SMP 2 Daar el-Qolam semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2023-2024. Keadaan tersebut dibuktikan dalam persentase hasil analisis data penilaian pada sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan alat peraga pada pelajaran muthola’ah. Yaitu dari nilai rata-rata 58,,8% menjadi 90,0% dan persentase siswa yang tuntas belajar yaitu dari 58,8% menjadi 85,2%. Maka dari itu disarankan kepada para guru untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran muthola'ah ini dengan menggunakan alat peraga agar para murid mempunyai gambaran lebih banyak tentang apa yang sedang terjadi dalam cerita materi muthola'ah tersebut.

Abstract

Gender inequality remains a prevalent issue in society today, despite the Quran's clear articulation of equality between men and women. This study aims to analyze verses of gender equality in the Quran that employ the linguistic devices of fasl and wasl using Jürgen Habermas's critical hermeneutical approach. Gender verses refer to those that specifically address gender roles, rights, and obligations in a religious context. The study adopts a linguistic approach to explore how fasl and wasl are used to convey gender-related messages in the Quran. It employs a qualitative content analysis methodology involving literature identification, selection, and analysis in Arabic. Purposive sampling is used to select verses from Surah An-Nisa’ , one of the longest chapters addressing gender, particularly women. From 176 verses, several excerpts depicting gender relations are analyzed. The findings reveal equality in inheritance, kinship, receiving divine blessings, leadership, and equal rewards. These aspects represent social, economic, and humanitarian rights.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the structural analysis of the tasybih language style in the verses of the Al-Qur'an. With a literature study approach, the qualitative method collects data by understanding and studying theories from various relevant literature sources. The main data source in this research is the Al-Qur'an, while additional data sources were obtained from various journals and research articles about Tasybih. Next, data from these research sources will be classified to find several Qur'an verses containing Tasybih. After the data from the research source is presented, the final step is to verify or conclude from the data that has been collected. At this stage, analysis is carried out to identify Koran verses containing Tasybih. The research results show that although Bayan Science has several discussion branches, Tasybih has its function and characteristics. There are similarities in the structure of the 7 Tasybih verses in the Al-Qur'an studied: they are all in the form of mujmal tasybih. It is hoped that this research can provide a deeper understanding of Tasybih and contribute to the study of Arabic linguistics and literature in general.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab di era digital menuntut inovasi media yang interaktif dan kontekstual agar sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi Lumi Education dalam pengembangan buku digital interaktif serta merumuskan strategi implementatif yang efektif dalam proses pembelajaran. Kesenjangan penelitian yang diangkat adalah masih terbatasnya pemanfaatan platform digital interaktif seperti Lumi Education secara spesifik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, terutama yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan integratif, kontekstual, dan adaptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi pustaka dan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lumi Education mampu mendukung penguasaan keterampilan berbahasa Arab secara menyeluruh melalui konten H5P yang variatif dan mudah digunakan. Strategi implementasi mencakup strategi integratif yaitu penggabungan keterampilan bahasa dengan literasi digital dan nilai karakter, kontekstual yaitu pengaitan materi dengan kehidupan nyata siswa, serta adaptif yaitu penyesuaian konten dengan gaya dan kemampuan belajar individu. Lumi Education terbukti menjadi platform strategis dalam mentransformasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab menjadi lebih efektif dan bermakna.

Abstract

One of the methods used in learning Arabic that can improve maharah kalam is muhawarah; the muhawarah method is often used in several Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The facts found by researchers in the field are that in MTs Persis 31 Banjaran, muhawarah is a particular subject studied at school. This research aims to discover the process of muhawarah learning at MTs Persis 31 Banjaran. This study used descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. After the data was collected, data analysis was carried out using the technique proposed by Milles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research result shows that the process of muhawarah lesson at MTs Persis 31 Banjaran contains four core activities of muhawarah learning, including (1) memorizing mufrodat, (2) analyzing mufrodat, (3) translating conversations, (4) carrying out simple conversations. The teacher's skills in achieving learning objectives are very influential, one of which is regarding the methods used in muhawarah learning. Methods appropriate to students' material, infrastructure, and conditions can make it easier for teachers to achieve learning objectives and increase student enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

Learning Arabic in this modern era has been carried out in military educational institutions. Religious values must be distinct from learning Arabic. This differs from another foreign language teaching which is professionally oriented and practical only. This study aims to simultaneously reveal the acquisition of proficiency in Arabic and increased religiosity. In this study, a phenomenological analysis was used by focusing on the process of teaching religious values to military students. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data has been collected through observation, interviews and documentation at Pusdik Pengmilum. Respondents in this study consisted of military teachers, military students and academic units. The research results show that all language skills are obtained through learning. To strengthen the religious values of life and development in learning Arabic. Learning activities with the tri system of military education archetypes are very influential. This can be seen from the supervision of the education unit, which collaborates with gumil (military teacher) in acquiring skills and increasing religiosity.
