Abstract

In this rapidly evolving digital era, the use of social media has become an integral part of daily life, including among students, teachers, and parents in educational environments. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of social media usage in efforts to enhance communication and collaboration in educational settings. The method employed in this research is a qualitative literature review utilizing data sourced from Google Scholar spanning from 2020 to 2024. Key search terms included social media, communication and collaboration, and education environment. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative data analysis. The qualitative data analysis process involves several steps, such as organising the data, forming themes or patterns, and interpreting the findings from the scientific articles used. The study's findings reveal that in the continuously evolving digital era, social media usage has become a crucial aspect across various domains, including education. The analysis of social media usage in enhancing communication and collaboration in educational environments highlights its significant potential to increase participant engagement, facilitate the exchange of ideas, and broaden the reach of educational information. However, the utilization of social media also necessitates a careful and responsible approach to address associated challenges and risks.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of learning innovation and digital literacy in enhancing students’ academic creativity and innovative competence in higher education, using Amabile’s Componential Theory of Creativity as the theoretical lens. A quantitative survey design was employed, using a Likert-scale questionnaire as the main research instrument to measure learning innovation, digital literacy, academic creativity, and innovative competence. Data were collected from 100 undergraduate students in Karawang, West Java Province, selected through purposive sampling based on their experience with project-based and technology-integrated learning. This sample size is considered adequate because it fulfills the minimum requirement for SEM-PLS analysis, which allows reliable estimation even with relatively small samples. Structural Equation Modeling using SmartPLS was applied to examine causal relationships among variables. The findings reveal that learning innovation significantly influences academic creativity, while digital literacy enhances innovative competence both directly and indirectly through academic creativity. Academic creativity is confirmed as a strong predictor of innovative competence, although it does not mediate the effect of learning innovation. These results underscore digital literacy as a foundational driver of creativity-based innovation, aligning with the needs of the digital era. The study contributes theoretically by extending the application of creativity theory within the Indonesian higher education context and provides practical implications for universities to strengthen digital-based innovative learning and curriculum development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the importance of improving teacher quality through high-quality professional training to support the implementation of inclusive education in schools. The focus of the study is directed at how systematically designed and sustainable training can improve teacher competency, both in pedagogical, professional, social, and personality aspects, so that they are able to deal with student diversity with a humanistic and adaptive approach. The method used is library research, by reviewing various literature sources such as books, scientific journals, previous research results, and relevant educational policies. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively to obtain a comprehensive picture of the relationship between teacher professional training and the implementation of inclusive education. The results show that high-quality professional training plays a significant role in developing teachers who are reflective, innovative, and have high social sensitivity to the needs of diverse students. Furthermore, inclusive education becomes a forum for actualizing teacher professionalism in creating a learning environment that is fair, participatory, and respectful of diversity. Thus, improving teacher quality and the implementation of inclusive education complement each other in realizing an excellent, humanistic, and socially just education system.

Abstract

This study aims to identify relevant Islamic values in developing noble character in the younger generation, describe their application in modern life, and analyze the challenges and opportunities faced. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The results show that the values of honesty (shidq), responsibility (amanah), politeness (adab), and tolerance (tasamuh) are the main foundations for character formation of the younger generation. The implementation of these values can be done through habituation in the family, educational, and community environments, as well as through the positive use of digital media. Key challenges include the influence of popular culture, negative behavior on social media, and the lack of role models. However, significant opportunities arise through the hijrah trend, the proliferation of Islamic content, and the use of technology for creative and adaptive moral development

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of pesantren education on the development of student character in Indonesia. Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that have an important role in shaping the character of students through a holistic approach that includes religious, moral, ethical, and social skills education. The board-based education system in pesantren allows students to live in a structured environment, where values such as discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and social solidarity are internalized through daily activities and social interaction. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach to understand more deeply how pesantren plays a role in shaping the character of strong and integrity students, especially in the midst of the challenges of modernization and globalization. The results of the study show that pesantren have a significant influence in building the character of students through traditional and religious values, which remains relevant even in the face of social and technological changes. Islamic boarding schools have also begun to integrate modern skills such as entrepreneurship and digital literacy to prepare students to face global challenges. The aspects of character that are most influenced by pesantren education include discipline, social responsibility, solidarity, and independence. This research concludes that pesantren have a great contribution in forming a young generation that is moral, moral, and ready to adapt to the changing times without losing their traditional identity

Abstract

Inclusive schools continue to strive to provide equitable education for all students, including those with disabilities. The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes literacy and numeracy as core competencies but requires a more adaptive system to be effectively implemented in inclusive settings. This study develops and evaluates the Deep Learning-Based Digital Efficacy Design Model as an innovative approach to enhance literacy and numeracy learning for students with special needs. Using the Design and Development Research method by Richey and Klein, the research was conducted at SLBN 12 South Jakarta, involving 30 teachers and 30 students selected through cluster random sampling. Findings indicate a consistent increase in literacy and numeracy across all disability types and educational levels. These improvements demonstrate the model’s effectiveness in strengthening students’ comprehension and engagement with literacy and numeracy concepts. Additionally, the results show that the deep learning approach successfully accommodates the cognitive and sensory diversity of students, particularly those with hearing impairments and mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. Overall, the implementation of the Deep Learning-Based Digital Efficacy Design Model significantly enhanced literacy and numeracy performance in inclusive learning environments. Teachers should use adaptive digital tools and personalized feedback in daily lessons to help all students achieve literacy and numeracy

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi manajemen pendidikan kewirausahaan dalam meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi pemuda di perkotaan. Menggunakan metode tinjauan pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan praktik terbaik dari program-program kewirausahaan yang relevan. Data diambil dari Google Scholar dengan cakupan tahun 2012-2024, menghasilkan 16 artikel terpilih dari 27 artikel awal. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan yang efektif harus mencakup pendekatan berbasis praktik, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, dan kolaborasi antara pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, serta sektor swasta. Studi kasus seperti Jakpreneur di Jakarta dan Pahlawan Ekonomi di Surabaya membuktikan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan, kreativitas, dan akses pemuda ke sumber daya ekonomi yang lebih luas. Namun, keberhasilan implementasi strategi ini menghadapi tantangan seperti relevansi kurikulum, keterbatasan infrastruktur, dan kesenjangan akses bagi pemuda dari latar belakang sosial ekonomi rendah. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada pentingnya evaluasi berkelanjutan dan kolaborasi lintas sektor untuk menciptakan ekosistem kewirausahaan yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji transformasi manajemen program pengabdian masyarakat melalui integrasi teknologi informasi, serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran berbasis komunitas. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui tinjauan pustaka, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 1984 hingga 2025, yang diambil dari sumber kredibel seperti Google Scholar dan website terakreditasi. Melalui analisis deskriptif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa teknologi informasi berperan penting dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan program, mempercepat komunikasi antar stakeholder, serta memfasilitasi pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman yang lebih interaktif dan partisipatif. Studi kasus yang relevan, seperti program Desa Digital di berbagai daerah dan penelitian terdahulu, menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pengabdian masyarakat dapat meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan memperkuat kualitas program. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi perguruan tinggi dan pemerintah dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan program pengabdian masyarakat berbasis teknologi untuk menciptakan dampak sosial yang lebih luas dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkaya literatur akademik mengenai pengabdian masyarakat dengan mengkaji konsep, implementasi, manfaat, tantangan, dan strategi pengembangan manajemen pendidikan berbasis pengabdian masyarakat yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi digital serta kolaborasi multipihak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari Google Scholar dan berbagai sumber resmi yang kredibel yang diterbitkan pada periode 1984–2026. Pada tahap awal ditemukan 50 artikel yang relevan, kemudian setelah melalui proses seleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, sebanyak 29 artikel dipilih untuk dianalisis. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, kategorisasi tematik, sintesis literatur, dan interpretasi deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pengabdian masyarakat, digitalisasi, dan kolaborasi mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, literasi digital, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, serta kompetensi sosial peserta didik, sekaligus mendukung pemberdayaan masyarakat. Namun demikian, implementasinya masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti kesenjangan literasi digital, keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi, dan belum optimalnya kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' perceptions of teacher discipline and its relationship with learning achievement at the high school (SMA) level. Teacher discipline is one of the important factors that affect the learning process, where teacher discipline can set a positive example and create a conducive learning environment. This study uses a survey method by distributing questionnaires to students in several high schools in the Surabaya-East Java area randomly. The data was analyzed using the results of the validity test of the instruments filled in by students about teacher discipline and learning achievement. The results of the study show that most students have a positive perception of teacher discipline. Disciplined teachers are considered to be able to increase students' motivation and concentration in learning, which ultimately has a positive impact on learning achievement. In addition, it found an insignificant relationship between teacher discipline and learning achievement, where higher teacher discipline was less likely to correlate with better learning achievement. The conclusion of this study is that students' perception of teacher discipline does not have a significant influence on learning achievement at the high school level. Therefore, it is important for teachers to continue to understand the norms that exist in schools with teachers who actively teach in the classroom and learning activities to support students' academic achievement.
