Abstract

Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) merupakan inovasi pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menjawab keterbatasan penelitian sebelumnya yang lebih banyak berfokus pada penerapan model TAI di jenjang pendidikan menengah, dengan menelusuri efektivitasnya dalam konteks siswa sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Penerapan model pembelajaran TAI terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, (2) Mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran TAI terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, dan (3) Menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model TAI terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV di SDN 259 Patimpeng, Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi-experimental dan desain non-equivalent control group, yang melibatkan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis yang digunakan meliputi beberapa langkah, yaitu: (1) analisis deskriptif, (2) Uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank, (3) Uji Mann-Whitney U, dan (4) pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dapat (1) meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas IV, terbukti dengan peningkatan signifikan pada pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen, (2) memperbaiki hasil belajar matematika siswa, yang tercermin dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata pada posttest dibandingkan pretest, dan (3) memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kedua aspek tersebut, dengan uji statistik yang menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV di SDN 259 Patimpeng, Kabupaten Bone. The application of the Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) cooperative learning model is a learning innovation in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities and learning outcomes. This study addresses the limitations of previous research which focused more on the application of the TAI model at the secondary education level, by exploring its effectiveness in the context of elementary school students. The objectives of this study are: (1) The application of the TAI learning model to mathematical problem-solving skills, (2) Describing the effect of the TAI learning model on student mathematics learning outcomes, and (3) Analysing the effect of the application of the TAI model on problem solving skills and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 259 Patimpeng, Bone Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a non-equivalent control group design, which involved an experimental class and a control class. The analysis technique used includes several steps, namely: (1) descriptive analysis, (2) Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, (3) Mann-Whitney U Test, and (4) hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the application of the TAI type cooperative learning model can (1) improve the mathematics problem solving ability of grade IV students, as evidenced by a significant increase in the pretest and posttest of the experimental class, (2) improve students' mathematics learning outcomes, which is reflected in the increase in the average score on the posttest compared to the pretest, and (3) have a significant effect on improving both aspects, with statistical tests showing significant differences between the experimental and control classes. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the TAI type cooperative learning model significantly improves the problem-solving ability and mathematics learning outcomes of grade IV students at SDN 259 Patimpeng, Bone Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif Smart Apps Creator (SAC) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Panca Makmur pada materi bangun datar. Pendekatan kuantitatif diterapkan dengan desain pre-eksperimen One Group Pre-test–Post-test Design, melibatkan 21 siswa sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kognitif (pre-test dan post-test), observasi partisipasi siswa, serta dokumentasi proses pembelajaran. Analisis statistik mencakup statistik deskriptif (mean, standar deviasi), uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas Levene, perhitungan N-Gain Score, dan uji hipotesis Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan rata-rata hasil belajar dari 53,33 (pre-test) menjadi 90,24 (post-test), dengan penurunan standar deviasi dari 13,260 ke 6,796 yang mengindikasikan pemerataan pemahaman. Nilai N-Gain rata-rata 0,77 (kategori "efektif") dan uji Wilcoxon (Z = -4,021; sig. 0,000) mengonfirmasi perbedaan signifikan. Observasi mendokumentasikan transformasi dinamika kelas dari pasif menjadi interaktif, peningkatan motivasi belajar, serta penguatan pemahaman konseptual dan prosedural. Meskipun faktor keterampilan guru dan infrastruktur teknologi memengaruhi implementasi, SAC terbukti sebagai media alternatif yang efektif dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar dinamis dan bermakna. This study examines the effectiveness of Smart Apps Creator (SAC) interactive learning media on the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri Panca Makmur regarding plane figures. A quantitative approach was employed using a One Group Pre-test–Post-test Design, with 21 students as the sample. Data were collected through cognitive tests (pre-test and post-test), observation of student participation, and documentation of the learning process. Statistical analysis included descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation), Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene’s homogeneity test, N-Gain Score calculation, and Wilcoxon hypothesis testing. Results indicated a significant increase in average learning outcomes from 53.33 (pre-test) to 90.24 (post-test), with a reduction in standard deviation from 13.260 to 6.796, reflecting more uniform understanding. The average N-Gain Score of 0.77 (categorized as "effective") and Wilcoxon test (Z = -4.021; sig. 0.000) confirmed significant differences. Observations documented a shift from passive to interactive classroom dynamics, increased learning motivation, and strengthened conceptual-procedural understanding. Although teacher skills and technological infrastructure influenced implementation, SAC proved to be an effective alternative medium for creating dynamic and meaningful learning environments.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed the educational landscape, particularly in higher education. This study aims to investigate the impact of AI integration on students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills through a meta-analysis approach. Data were collected from 12 empirical studies published between 2015 and 2025 that examined the implementation of AI-assisted learning environments in universities. Using a random-effects model, the study analyzed effect sizes to determine the overall impact of AI-based interventions. The results reveal a moderate to strong positive effect (Hedges’ g = 0.64) of AI integration on critical thinking skills, and a significant improvement in problem-solving. Subgroup analysis further indicates that adaptive learning systems and AI-driven feedback tools produce the greatest enhancement in cognitive performance compared to traditional instruction. Moreover, the effectiveness of AI integration is influenced by factors such as duration of implementation, discipline area, and the level of technological literacy among students and instructors. These findings underscore the potential of AI as a transformative pedagogical tool that fosters higher-order thinking and learner autonomy in higher education. The study concludes by recommending that universities adopt AI technologies strategically, emphasizing instructional design that aligns with cognitive development principles to ensure sustainable and equitable learning outcomes.
