Abstract

The choice of research object in the film Revolutionary Road is because the narrative contained in the film Revolutinary Road discusses matters that are very closely related to the phenomenon of mental readiness in households as is often the case in Indonesian society today.In this thesis there is a formulation of the problem, namely how the writer tries to discuss the emotions reflected in the character of April Wheeler in the film entitled Revolutionary Road, as well as explaining the factors that cause emotions to arise in this character. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach method obtained through library research. The conclusion of this thesis is that the author explains what emotions are reflected in the character April in the film Revolutionary Road by associating several types of emotions namely Happiness, Love, Sadness, Anger, Fear, Surprise response, Hate, Mood, and Tempramen. Regarding the emotional disturbance experienced by the character April. In addition, explaining the internal factors according to Hurlock and Cole (as quoted by Rismalinda, 2017, p.248) regarding the emotional disturbance experienced by the character April.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement KPK and FPB learning outcomes with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach in class V SDN 06 Piai Tangah. This type of research is classroom action research, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The subject of research were teachers and fifth grade students of SDN 06 Piai Tangah. The results obtained in the form of the average cycle I to cycle II are as follows: (1) RPP 82.14% (B) to 92.85% (SB) with an increase of 10.71%, (2) Implementation of learning based on: (a) teacher activity 78.57% (B) to 91.06% (SB) with an increase of 12.49%, (b) student activity 73.21% (C) to 91.06% (SB) with an increase of 17 , 85%, while (3) student learning outcomes (3 domain) 71.48%  (C) to 84.09%  (B) with an increase of 12.61%. It can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach can improve the learning outcomes of KPK and FPB in class V SDN 06 Piai Tangah. Keywords: learning outcomes, KPK and FPB, CTL approach

Abstract

Penelitian "Pemanfaatan Teknologi Pembelajaran Adaptif dalam Bahasa Inggris untuk Generasi Digital: Sebuah Analisis Komprehensif" mengkaji penggunaan teknologi pembelajaran adaptif berbasis Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris bagi generasi digital. Studi literatur digunakan sebagai metode utama, melibatkan pengumpulan dan analisis data dari artikel jurnal, buku, dan laporan penelitian. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa teknologi pembelajaran adaptif meningkatkan keterlibatan, motivasi, dan kemajuan bahasa di kalangan siswa generasi Z, terutama melalui jalur pembelajaran dan materi instruksional yang dipersonalisasi. Penelitian ini menekankan kecocokan teknologi pembelajaran adaptif dengan kebutuhan belajar generasi digital, menyediakan pendekatan yang interaktif dan personal. Teknologi ini memungkinkan penyesuaian materi pembelajaran dan umpan balik langsung, yang penting untuk mengembangkan keterampilan bahasa. Meski menjanjikan, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan, termasuk kebutuhan infrastruktur teknologi, pelatihan guru, dan isu privasi dan etika. Saran utama termasuk pengembangan sistem yang lebih inovatif, pelatihan guru yang memadai, dan penelitian berkelanjutan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas jangka panjang. Kesimpulan studi ini adalah bahwa teknologi pembelajaran adaptif berpotensi besar dalam merevolusi pengajaran bahasa Inggris bagi generasi digital, mengarah pada pendidikan yang lebih adaptif dan responsif.

Abstract

Rapid economic development significantly drives company growth. This makes the role of accounting increasingly decisive in decision making related to company operations. This study aims to determine how the cash receipt and disbursement accounting information system at PT Agro Sinergi Nusantara Aceh Barat can support the effectiveness of internal control. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data used in this study are primary data conducted by direct interviews with financial employees at PT Agro Sinergi Nusantara Aceh Barat and secondary data obtained from reference books, scientific papers, documents, previous researchers or other reading materials related to this study. The results of the study indicate that the cash receipt accounting information system at PT Agro Sinergi Nusantara Aceh Barat has been designed with good internal control principles, such as the separation of functions between cash recipients and recorders, as well as the use of official documents such as proof of transfer and account mutations and the cash disbursement accounting information system at PT Agro Sinergi Nusantara Aceh Barat involves the stages of submission, verification, payment, to reporting via Accurate Online. However, this system still faces obstacles in terms of delays in returning cash disbursement receipts which causes recording errors because bookkeeping is done the day after payment This shows that internal control over cash disbursements has not been running optimally and requires improvement to support the company's financial accuracy, transparency and accountability.

Abstract

Ironing activities in the laundry service industry are performed repeatedly and for long periods, creating a high potential for non-ergonomic work postures. At Laundry Cio’ta, ironing is carried out every day from 08:00 to 21:00 by two workers, which increases the risk of fatigue and musculoskeletal disorders due to continuous and repetitive movements. This study aims to analyze workers’ ironing postures using the REBA method to determine the level of ergonomic risk. Data were collected through direct observation and measurement of body posture angles during the ironing process. The assessment results showed a Score A of 4 and a Score B of 2, producing an initial REBA score of 4. With the addition of an activity score of +1, considering the repetitive nature of the task, the final REBA score increased to 5. This score indicates a moderate level of risk, suggesting that corrective actions are necessary to prevent long-term strain or injury. Based on these findings, ergonomic improvements such as adjusting the ironing table height, modifying the work layout, and encouraging workers to adopt better posture are recommended. Implementing short rest breaks and task variation can also help reduce physical strain and improve worker comfort and productivity.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital memberikan peluang bagi masyarakat desa untuk memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai sarana komunikasi dan publikasi kegiatan masyarakat. Namun, anggota Karang Taruna Dusun Margo Makmur Desa Martajaya Blok F masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam pemahaman komunikasi digital serta kemampuan membuat konten visual yang menarik untuk media sosial. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi digital anggota Karang Taruna melalui pemanfaatan media sosial dan desain konten menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tahap identifikasi masalah, sosialisasi komunikasi digital, pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Canva, praktik pembuatan konten visual, serta evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 24 Januari 2026 dengan melibatkan anggota Karang Taruna sebagai peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep komunikasi digital sebesar 80%, kemampuan penggunaan aplikasi Canva sebesar 75%, serta kemampuan membuat konten visual yang layak dipublikasikan sebesar 68%. Selain itu, peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam mengelola media sosial sebagai sarana publikasi kegiatan dusun. Dengan demikian, pelatihan komunikasi digital berbasis aplikasi Canva dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital pemuda serta mendukung pembentukan citra positif Dusun Margo Makmur di ruang digital.

Abstract

Traditional fishermen in remote coastal villages often use simple diving methods with unmonitored dive depth and duration, increasing their risk of ear barotrauma, particularly due to a lack of knowledge and formal training. This study aimed to assess the level of knowledge and attitudes toward ear barotrauma risk among traditional fishermen in Guaeria Village, Jailolo District, West Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province. This observational study used a cross-sectional design with a total sampling technique, involving all 41 traditional fishermen in the village. Data were collected through structured interviews using a validated questionnaire and analyzed descriptively using SPSS. The results showed that most respondents were aged over 40 years (68.3%), male (100%), had worked for more than 1 year (78%), dove less than 4 days per week (61%), had a normal body mass index (73.2%), and dove for more than 30 minutes per session (70.7%). All respondents (100%) reported a history of barotrauma, with symptoms including ear pain (90.2%), dizziness (90.2%), tinnitus (73.2%), nosebleeds (58.5%), hearing loss (46.3%), and ear bleeding (36.6%). Most fishermen had insufficient knowledge (78.1%) but a sufficient attitude (68.3%) regarding barotrauma risk. In conclusion, traditional fishermen in Guaeria Village show a high prevalence of ear barotrauma symptoms; although their attitude toward barotrauma risk is fairly good, their knowledge remains insufficient, likely due to limited access to information and formal education on diving health risks.
