Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still teachers who have not fully carried out their main roles and duties in educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing and evaluating students properly. The aim of this research is to describe the role of school/madrasah principals in improving the work ethic of teachers at MIN 1 Rembang. The type of research used in this research is a case study. In this research, the subject is the role of the school/madrasah principal at MIN 1 Rembang. Data collection techniques were obtained from documentation, observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques go through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Based on the research results, it was found that the role of the principal in improving the work ethic of teachers at MIN 1 Rembang is by creating good teamwork by involving teachers in every activity and providing the tagline MIN 1 Rembang Solid, creating discipline, creating a comfortable working atmosphere, providing fair wages. comply with the GTT appropriately and ensure that salaries and certification for civil servants run smoothly every month, as well as establishing good communication between school principals and teachers.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of the principal in developing student character at TKIT Az-Zahra Demak, especially in implementing the Independent Curriculum. The focus of this research is to understand the strategies, challenges and impact of school principal leadership on strengthening the character of early childhood. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The research results show that school principals have a strategic role in integrating character values ​​into learning activities and school culture. The school principal acts as a learning leader, facilitator and motivator for teachers and provides support in developing character-based programs. In addition, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum provides flexibility in designing contextual and meaningful learning for students. However, there are challenges in terms of developing teacher competency and collaboration with parents. This research concludes that the success of character development at TKIT Az-Zahra Demak is very dependent on the commitment of the school principal, collaboration between parties, and support from the school environment. The recommendations of this research include the need for continuous training for teachers and strengthening synergy between schools and families in supporting the implementation of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the school principal in developing entrepreneurship at SMK Negeri 1 Sedan. Using a qualitative method, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that the school principal acts as an effective managerial leader in managing school resources through strategic planning, organizing, and evaluating entrepreneurship programs. In addition, the principal also strengthens partnerships with the business and industry sector (DUDI) and optimizes independent school enterprises. However, challenges such as limited human resources, facilities, capital, and competition with other business players have emerged. This study emphasizes that while the principal has played a significant role, additional strategies are needed to overcome the challenges in developing entrepreneurship at SMK Negeri 1 Sedan.
