Abstract

ABSTRACT In the current era of digitalization, healthpreneur products at affordable prices and good quality in the community have competitive value. Innovation in the health sector, especially to improve healthcare services, goes hand in hand with technological advances. The existence of competitive healthpreneurs motivates healthcare services to be universal and easier to access by the wider community. This community service activity aims to increase the potential of creative doctorpreneurs in the digital-based competitive healthpreneur era through education and innovative healthpreneurship design platforms. The activity was a webinar inviting resource persons in the digital-based doctorpreneur field and founders of several healthpreneurship platforms. Pretest, posttest and evaluation questionnaires were given to webinar participants. After the expert presentation, participants were allowed to discuss. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test to determine the increase in knowledge participants. The number of webinar participants who participated was 290 students from 4 classes, namely 66 students from the Class of 2020, 99 students from the Class of 2021, 66 students from the Class of 2022 and 59 students from the Class of 2023. There was a significant difference in the pretest and posttest scores of the webinar participants. (P-value=0.008). The activity evaluation results through the webinar satisfaction questionnaire showed that most participants stated that the seminar activities were very good and good. This webinar activity is proven to increase knowledge about the potential of creative doctorpreneurs in the digital-based competitive healthpreneur era. Keywords: creative doctorpreneur, competitive healthpreneur, platform design healthpreneurship   ABSTRAK Di era digitalisasi saat ini, produk healthpreneur dengan harga terjangkau dan berkualitas di komunitas masyarakat telah memiliki nilai kompetisi. Inovasi di bidang kesehatan khususnya dalam upaya meningkatkan healthcare service bergandengan dengan kemajuan teknologi. Dengan adanya competitive healthpreneur memotivasi healthcare service bersifat universal dan lebih mudah untuk diakses oleh masyarakat luas. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan potensi diri creative doctorpreneur di era competitive healthpreneur berbasis digital melalui edukasi dan inovasi platform design healthpreneurship. Kegiatan dilangsungkan secara webinar dengan mengundang narasumber di bidang doctorpreneur berbasis digital dan founder beberapa platform healthpreneurship. Pretest dan posttest serta kuesioner evaluasi kegiatan diberikan kepada peserta webinar. Setelah dilakukan pemaparan oleh narasumber, diberikan kesempatan untuk diskusi kepada peserta. Analisa data digunakan uji Wilcoxon untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan. Jumlah peserta webinar yang berpartisipasi sebanyak 290 mahasiswa yang berasal dari 4 angkatan, yaitu 66 orang Angkatan 2020, 99 orang Angkatan 2021, 66 orang Angkatan 2022 dan 59 orang Angkatan 2023.. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan nilai pre-test dan post-test peserta webinar (P-value=0,008). Hasil evaluasi kegiatan melalui kuesioner kepuasan webinar menunjukkan mayoritas peserta menyatakan kegiatan seminar sangat baik dan baik. Kegiatan webinar ini terbukti dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang potensi diri creative doctorpreneur di era competitive healthpreneur berbasis digital. Abstract

Transfigurasi media terjadi begitu drastis didukung layanan internet yang sudah menembus banyak ruang bahkan sampai pelosok. Jika dahulu masyarakat hanya menjadi pengkonsumsi media secara aktif, maka saat ini memungkinkan siapa saja dapat mengelola media seperti YouTube dalam kajian ini. Tujuan dari serangkaian aktivitas penelitian yang dilakukan adalah mencari tahu apakah masyarakat sudah mampu memanfaatkan YouTube secara tepat, akurat, dan sehat dengan memanifestasikan regulasi dan fungsi media massa berdasarkan UU Pers dan ITE. Adapun subjek kajian di sini adalah kanal YouTube “Johannes Liong” dengan kualitatif sebagai metode yang diterapkan serta penggunaan dokumentasi dan observasi dalam melakukan pengumpulan data yang dibutuhkan. Sementara teknik analisis data yang dipakai adalah content analysis. Setelah diteliti, maka didapati bahwa kanal YouTube “Johannes Liong” belum mampu memanifestasikan hukum dan fungsi media massa sebagaimana tuntunan UU Pers dan ITE. Di sana ada banyak ditemukan tajuk dan keluku yang mempraktikkan clickbait dan tidak memiliki relevansi dengan isi video, diantaranya berjudul “Resmi Ditangkap”, “Somad Resmi Ditangkap Densus”, dan “Resmi Ditangkap Dijemput Polisi” yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini. Jadi konten-konten yang dipublikasi dapat dikategorikan ke dalam konten pembohongan publik yang dapat merugikan dan menyesatkan dengan memanfaatkan tajuk dan keluku sensasional dan manipulasif demi kepentingan komersial semata, sehingga mengabaikan pemenuhan fungsi edukasi dan informasi serta etika dan moral bermedia.

Abstract

This article aim to provide an understanding to all readers that it is necessary to know the development of assessment tool in English Language Teaching (ELT), especially in the case of using of google classroom in the current year of covid-19 pandemic. It presents the advantages of google form, the ways to upset google form and the empirical studis on google form as an assessment tool in ELT. This article is made in the form of a study of documents and literatures whose understanding of knowledge is used as an analysis. In view of this, the Indonesian teachers should be carefully designed the worksheet in google form, so it can be function to do assessment. However, it should not use completly to replace the traditional methods.

Abstract

The selection of a catalyst is imperative in extracting silica. Calcium is a heterogeneous base catalyst that is abundant in carbonate rocks. This study attempts to extract silica using an artificial carbonate solvent with variations of strong acid HCl (1 M, 3 M, 5 M), NaCl salt (1: 2, 1: 4) w/w ratio to distilled water, and H2O (1: 4) w/w ratio to carbonate. Characteristics of fly ash were analyzed using XRF and XRD to determine the elemental composition, crystal structure, and dominant constituent compounds. The solvent concentration and pH effect in extracting silica from fly ash is reviewed by setting the temperature parameter at 60 C, 120 minutes extraction time, and the ratio between fly ash and carbonate solvent 20 % w/v. The filtrate was verified using UV-Vis to determine the concentration of dissolved silica (SiO2) in the carbonate solvent. The examination results showed that the carbonate solvent with 3 M HCl was able to extract silica better than the other five solvents at 68.17 ppm.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of religious discipline of students at SMPIT Dar El Iman, Padang City. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type of research. The population in this study were students in grades 8 and 9 at SMPIT Dar el Iman. The sampling technique used simple random sampling, using the Slovin formula and 81 respondents were obtained. The data collection technique is by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale, then the results are analyzed using Microsoft Excel. The results of the research show that the level of prayer discipline of students at SMPIT Dar El Iman, Padang City in the 5 daily obligatory prayers is 82.41% in the very good category, the sunnah careib mu'akkad prayer is 68.11% in the good category, the dhuha sunnah prayer is 71.30% in the good category. good, the tahajud sunnah prayer was 63.07 in the good category, the witir sunnah prayer was 62.35% in the good category, reading the morning and evening zikr was 86.42% in the very good category and reading the Koran was 88.58% in the very good category. Overall, The worship disscipline of students at SMPIT Dar el Iman is categorized as good with an overall average of 73.37%. The results of this research can be used as initial data for future researchers by examining different issues related to the problem and sharing issues relevant to this context.

Abstract

Torch ginger (Etlingera elatior) contains secondary metabolites that have antibacterial potential. The production of torch ginger extract in Indonesia is still limited. However, market demand increase because pharmaceutical industry is starting to use the torch ginger extract. Furthermore, the growing utilization of torch ginger will enhance the economy of torch ginger farmers. This study aims to compare the extraction efficiency of maceration and soxhletation methods in obtaining bioactive compounds from torch ginger using ethanol, methanol and n-hexane as solvents. The results showed that in the maceration method, ethanol solvent produced the highest yield of 15%, methanol 7% and n-hexane 3%. In soxhletation method, ethanol and methanol solvents produced yields of 15% and 13% respectively, higher than n-hexane only 1%. Overall, soxhletation method with ethanol solvent was the best condition for torch ginger extraction. GC-MS characterization showed the presence of bioactive compounds such as 2-Chloropropionic acid, Boric acid trimethyl ester, Silane dimethoxymethyl and Octadecanoic acid methyl ester which contribute to the antibacterial activity in torch ginger essential oil.

Abstract

This study aims to explore what forms of teacher personality the participants like to educate. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources were taken from twelve informants from five different elementary schools using an interview protocol. The results of the interviews were analyzed thematically using Miles and Huberman. The research findings show six teacher personalities that are liked by students. The six personalities are i) patient, ii) humorous, iii) not showing favoritism, iv) always giving advice, v) being compassionate, vi) having a good character noble, The results of this study can be used as teachers, prospective teachers, and parents as an illustration of the personality forms of teachers who are liked by students so that they try more to have that personality.

Abstract

Students who choose to take part in tutoring provide an indication of their various motivations and needs in their educational journey. That's exactly why this research aims to determine the motivation of students to take part in tutoring. This research used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, the data source was taken from ten informants consisting of three elementary school level students and seven junior high school level students. All interview data was then analyzed thematically using Miles and Huberman. Research findings showed six motivations for students to take tutoring, namely i) self-encouragement, ii) encouragement from parents, iii) following friends, iv) teacher recommendations, v) so that they can easily understand mathematics lessons vi) The learning process at school is not optimal. The results of this research can be used as initial data for future researchers by examining different issues related to this problem as well as various other issues relevant to this context.

Abstract

Peningkatan kapasitas produksi menjadi salah satu upaya Usaha Kecil dan Menengah untuk memuaskan konsumen dalam hal target produksi, efesiensi waktu, meningkatkan daya saing dan mempertahankan eksistensi perusahaan. UD. RANTI merupakan salah satu UKM yang memproduksi makanan ringan berbahan ubi kayu. Permasalahan yang dihadapi saat ini adalah sebagian proses produksi mulai input sampai dengan output tidak sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang dipersyaratkan Dinas Kesehatan, salah satunya proses penggilingan. Minimnya pengetahuan dalam merancang mesin peralatan produksi dan minimnya modal dalam pengadaan peralatan tersebut menambah bagian permasalahan dari mitra usaha ini. Melalui Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini tim menawarkan solusi untuk merancang dan membuat mesin penggiling sebagai upaya pemecahan masalah tersebut. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang direncanakan seperti: Analisis Situasi pada Unit Usaha, Merancang dan membuat mesin penggiling, Melakukan pelatihan pengoperasian dan maintenance mesin sekaligus penyerahan mesin kepada Unit Usaha, Evaluasi Program Kegiatan. Hasil yang didapat dari kegiatan ini berupa mesin penggiling bahan baku yang sesuai dengan persyaratkan Dinas Kesehatan dimana mesin/peralatan produksi harus menggunakan bahan stainless steel agar tidak terjadi cemaran logam pada bahan baku makanan. Dalam hal produktivitas, terjadi peningkatan dalam hal waktu produksi yang lebih singkat. Diharapkan dengan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini dapat meningkatkan produktivitas atau kapasitas produksi dari unit Usaha Kecil dan Menengah dalam hal ini UD. RANTI.

Abstract

Penanganan limbah kelapa sawit terutama pelepah kelapa sawit menjadi perhatian khusus. Hal ini disebabkan karena minimnya optimalisasi limbah saat ini terutama pada Industri Kecil dan Menengah khususnya pada kelompok tani. Melimpahnya pelepah kelapa sawit yang berserakan di kebun diakibatkan belum diolahnya pelepah menjadi produk bernilai tinggi. Beberapa produk yang dapat dihasilkan dari limbah pelepah kelapa sawit adalah pupuk, pakan ternak, tali serat dan biopellet. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah tidak memiliki mesin pencacah pelepah kelapa sawit sebagai bahan baku pembuatan produk tersebut. Minimnya pengetahuan dalam merancang mesin pencacah pelepah kelapa sawit dan minimnya modal dalam pengadaan mesin tersebut menambah bagian permasalahan dari mitra usaha ini. Melalui Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini tim menawarkan solusi untuk merancang dan menerapkan mesin pencacah pelepah kelapa sawit sebagai upaya pemecahan masalah tersebut. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang direncanakan seperti: Analisis Situasi pada Unit Usaha, Merancang dan membuat mesin pencacah pelepah kelapa sawit, Melakukan pelatihan pengoperasian dan maintenance mesin sekaligus penyerahan mesin kepada Unit Usaha, Evaluasi Program Kegiatan. Diharapkan dengan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini dapat mereduksi limbah pelepah kelapa sawit, diversifikasi atau variansi produk dan meningkatkan pendapatan pelaku usaha dari unit Industri Kecil dan Menengah dalam hal ini kelompok tani.
